Chapter 21 The Three B's [Forever Brothers Extra: Anybody who knows about the books will know what this means.]

Soren's POV

One Month Ago

"There she is Kludd. That's the girl I want to propose to."

"She's a beauty. Good luck trying to convince her to be your mate."

"Just watch brother. I'm about to get myself a girl."

With that I flew up to Otulissa.

"Hello Otulissa", I greeted. "Are you enjoying the party?"

"Very much", Otulissa replied.

"Good", I stated. "Listen, there's something I want to ask you?"

"What is it", Otulissa asked.

With that I took a deep breath...before pulling out the stone I got from the cave.

"Otulissa", I started. "I know we haven't known each for that long, but I love, and I want to be with you forever. So, Otulissa, will you be my mate for life?"

With that Otulissa looked at me in shock.

"Oh Soren", she started. "Of course."

One Week Later

Otulissa and I were standing in front of...pretty much the whole tree!

"We are gathered here today to join two owls in holy matrimony", King Boron said. "Soren, do you take Otulissa as your mate for life?"

"I do."

"And Otulissa, do you take Soren to be your mate for life?"

"I do."

"Then by the power invested in me by me being a king, I now pronounce you mates for life!"

One Week Later [Forever Brothers Extra: I am not sure if this is scientifically correct. Please correct me on this if I am.]

I was waiting outside the Healing Char with my family.

Otulissa was feeling great pains so she was here to see to it.

The doctor flew up to us...with a big smile on his face. [Forever Brothers Extra: Huh?]

"Why are you smiling like that doctor", I asked.

"Just come with me."

With that I did as told.

I followed the doctor to a room where Otulissa was.

"Otulissa", I started. "What's going on?"

With that Otulissa flew out of her nest...and I gasped in shock.

Because in the nest were...eggs! Three eggs! [Forever Brothers Extra: (does spit take) Eggs?!]

I looked at Otulissa with tears in my eyes.

"Otulissa", I started. "Does this mean what I think it does?"

"It does Soren", Otulissa replied. "We're going to be parents!"

Present Day

I was frantically looking for Kludd and I found him.

"Hey Soren", he greeted. "Listen, I really need to talk to you."

"Whatever it is, it's going to have to wait", I stated. "The eggs started hatching!"

"Wait really", Kludd asked.

"Yeah", I replied. "Come on!"

Five Minutes Later

Kludd and I flew into our nest and I flew up to Otulissa.

"Otulissa", I started. "Has it happened yet?"

"You're just in time."

And as Otulissa said that...one of the eggs started shaking!

Then...cracks started appearing.

And then...a tiny beak broke out of the egg.

And finally...an owlet popped out of the egg.

That repeated for the other two eggs...and when it was over...there were three little baby owlets...and they were mine. Mine and Otulissa's.

One looked like me, another looked like Otulissa...and the last one had my colors but Otulissa's spots.

"They're all girls", Otulissa revealed.

"Great", I said sarcastically. "That means I'll have to hoard off three times the boys when they get older."

This made Otulissa giggle.

"You've literally just become a father and you're already over protective", she pointed out.

"But of course", I stated before flying up to the owlets. "These are my girls and not just any boy will be worthy of being their mates.

With that Otulissa smiled before flying up to me.

"What should we name them", she asked.

"Oh", I said. "I actually don't know."

I then looked down at the one who looked like Otulissa.

"Let's start with her since she is the one who hatched first", I suggested.

"Alright", Otulissa said. "How about...Blythe?"

"Blythe", I asked in confusion.

"Where I grew up there was a beautiful place called Blythewold", Otulissa revealed. "And our daughter is just as beautiful."

With that I looked down at our daughter. Our little Blythe.

"It's perfect", I stated. "Just like her."

Otulissa then picked up the one who looked like me and placed her down near me.

"Now", she started. "What about this one."

With that I thought for a moment.

"I always wanted to call my son Sebastian", I revealed. "How about Sebastiana?"

With that Otulissa smiled at me.

"I think it's perfect."

I smiled before looking at the last owlet.

"Now just one more", I said.

And as I did...she started gnawing on a bell our nest was decorated with...and I smiled.

"Bell?"

"It's perfect", Otulissa stated.

"Okay", I said. "So we have Blythe, Sebastiana and Bell", I said. "Oh, I just realized that Sebastiana is the only who's name doesn't start with B."

And as I said that...Sebastiana started basing her head against the nest.

"Unless...we call her 'Bash' as a nickname."

Otulissa smiled at this.

"Blythe, Bash and Bell", she said. "The three b's."
