Airgal: Maybe if you tell me how to make WOAG sagas better
Back to the Castle
The Jester (new character) was jiggling books, as the Royal librarian (new character) would grab one of the books and placing them on the selves.
"We make a great team! Huh?"
She just looked at him, her face showed no emotion, as she placed a finger over her mouth, "Shush."
The Jester frowned and nearly dropped the rest of the books, but they floated into the air, the Librarian sighed heavily and just shook her head.
"Oh c'mon don't be like that. I was just trying to make you show me that beautiful smile."
The Maid sighed lovingly, "Oh (Librarian) you two are so precious."
The Librarian looked plainly at him and just turned back to the back shelf, when she gasped.
The Jester asked, "Wha?"
The manservant looked at his hands and sighed, "Oh...man...our time is up."
The surrounding halls darkened, the pictures and painting seemed gruesome and ugly, candles automically lit themselves, being the only light in the dark halls.
"The enchantment." The Librarian looked at her own hands.
The very light silver brick and marble of the castle was turned into this dampened blackish brown. The mother and advisor stood by the door, as Butch and the others were on the stairs.
The Manservant looked at them, and Butch went to him, but Butch looked down towards the Mother. The Large doors suddenly opened, the cold winds blown in and the light from the candle faded and the halls were darkened...a large shadow stood there, the only light was from the moon, as it caused the shadow to stretch out even over the stairs. The figure slowly into the room, the servants bowed their hands, as fear crept into their very hearts...a chill shivered through their spines and their breath held for fear that he or it was looking straight at them, with those soul piercing eyes. All but Brick, he just scoffed and bowed.
"We've been searching everywhere for you, it's great that you came back home."
The Mother gasped and hissed, glaring at Brick, "Is that anyway to speak to your Prince, Butler?"
Brick glared at her, but the Prince didn't seem to pay any notice, he just seemed...distracted.
"My dear child, how about a lovely dinner?"
"How? We don't have a cook anymore." Brick said.
The Advisor smiled, "Isn't that your job? A Bulter is suppose to-"
"Stuff it! Snake! Go slither under your damn rock!" Brick snapped, but the Prince glance to the side, "Well, it's kinda hard to find a cook, the maid has been cooking, she's been doing a pretty good job...sometimes...right Bubbles?"
(Yes, Bubbles is in this story)
Bubbles the maid bowed her head, "Well, yes." She looked uncertain as she responded, she smiled as those soul piercing eyes looked down at her. She laughed nervously.
"I...I do not wish to eat." The heavy voice echoed softly but everyone's eyes widened and their jaws just dropped.
The Mother laughed nervously, "Oh Darling Son, you don't mean that."
"I do not wish to eat." It just repeated and just walked up the stairs, not before handing Brick something, "I would like...some tea."
Everyone was still shocked, the Mother sneered but then smiled, "Of course, my dear boy."
The Maid was in the royal kitchen, she nearly burned her hand as she grabbed the kettele from over the fire place, she cried out in pain, "Ouchie...Oh look at my poor hands."
Her hands were bandaged and there were small cuts on them. Brick just looked at her and her hands.
"You really aren't cut out for this?"
The Manservant shrugged his shoulders and sighed, "So? What happened? Did he meet anyone?"
Blitz sighed with frustration, "Honestly...I don't know...but we met another Enchantress."
Everyone gasped, but was shushed by the Librarian, they covered their mouths.
"We've met a lot...a Siren...a Wicca...a familiar Earth Fairy..." Blitz was whispering, as the Jester tilted his head to the left, the Advisor was just around the corner, spying. The Jester threw a jack card at a shelf, right above the Advisors head, and the pots and pans rolled off the shelf, hitting the Advisor's on the head.
The Advisor was dizzy, "I...feel...suddenly tired." One small sauce pan hit him on the head and he fell back, knocked out.
"That...is so awesome...very nice work Big Bro." Blitz said.
The Jester looked over at the Librarian, flirty, "Well my fine Mistress of the Scrolls, did it not please you?" He joked.
The Librarian smiled a little, but quickly turned back to her usual emotionless face, "Remove him."
"With pleasure, my dear lady." The Jester bowed, he removed his joker hat, and pulled out a axe, Bubbles gasped.
"No...You can't do that!" Bubbles blew on her hand as she was burned again.
The Manservant snapped his finger, "That's too bad, but the Queen wouldn't be please."
"Kill joy." The Jester frowned and pulled rope out of his hat, the rope slithered around the Advisor like a snake and was tied tight.
"Just take him to his room, the little weasel."Brick growled.
The Librarian shyly cleared her throat, "More please."
"I didn't give you anything." Bubbles said, still so confused.
"She means about this enchantress." The Jester yelled as he continued up the stairs.
"How does he know?" The Manservant asked, but Butch just shrugged his shoulders.
"And...it's funny..."Butch was going around, as if thinking real hard, "Those two seem to get along until..."
Brick was still thinking hard, "We've actually may have a cook after all."
Bubbles was going down the darkened damp hall, with a candle on a silver tray as her guide through the hall. The Paintings' eyes seem to follow her as she went by them, of course the metal suits of armor were turning their heads, checking her out.
The Tea's aroma blew right in her face, the delectable sweet soft but slightly spicy smell of pumpkin and the cool refreshing smell of lavender, it made her smile... she was even softly singing:
Hush, child, darkness will rise from the deep,
And carry you down into sleep, child.
"I hope I could ask him...about this tea."
Darkness will rise from the deep,
And carry you down into sleep.
She stopped in front of the door, as she heard a mirror broke and she heard this growling. She was still about to slightly cracked the door open, she could see the Prince removing his hand from the mirror...he was heavily breathing...the only light was from two things but she could only see the fireplace.
"My dear Son, be realistic..."The Mother was there, the Prince sat in his chair, Bubbles couldn't see him, "I just don't want you to be hurt again."
"But...she looked at me...she...she...did not scream."
Bubbles smiled as she could hear the hope under that heavy voice.
"But...you were in the shadows...she didn't fully see you...or else...she would have screamed."
"No."
"And how do you know? My dear son, you have a face, that only your mother loves."
Bubbles bit her lip, she was shaking...
The Mother opened the door just as Bubbles was going to jump in, The Mother glared at her, and Bubbles lost all her courage in those cold hard amber eyes, and stared down at the ground.
"Just think about what I said. I just don't want you to be crushed...we must face facts: "For who could ever love a Beast?" (Famous line)
The Mother just left, leaving Bubbles alone as the Prince was heavily breathing. She was still shaking, as she walked as softly as she could, "Your Highness, I have brought your tea." She placed the tray on the small table that was next to the chair.
"Good...now leave me." He growled, that hope was crushed, Bubbles was slowly turned away, but then she quickly turned around.
"You...You're...a good master...you're not a Beast."
"What did I just say?" He growled louder, Bubbles was scared...this was a warning, "I just want to be left alone."
Bubbles bowed and quickly got out...the figure's claws shrinked back into his hands, he was trying to breathe calmly, but another roared escaped as he slashed a painting. He was calm again, he sat back in his chair, grabbing the small cup with just one hand and took a sip.
Buttercup's POV
I was sitting in the tub barrel, I could curse myself for letting that bastard...I looked up at the ceiling. He just disappeared into thin air...I knew where the Castle was...I could still remember it...but I know Mom's not going like that. It was at least half or maybe a whole day's journey...how could I disappear for that long...I got out of the tub, as I dried off, and Fang hissing at the water that was dripping off of me.
"Well, then you shouldn't even be in here." I said to him, I laughed a little...until I touched my shoulder...I could feel the scar...
"I would have had my wings by now."
Dad had been missing for almost seven years, the twins would be six soon...
Flashback
We hid just move to the new Farm on the Outskirts of New Town Shire, closer to Dad and the Castle. Dad hugged me, mom, and Dave as we arrived in our new home. I was about eight...
"This is fantasic...oh my Champ." Mom gasped at the size of our new home, finally Dad paid for our freedom from our Serf Master and brought a farm, for us.
"With you and the kids' magically talents, we'll be good in no time." Dad laugh, holding me, Mom crossed her arms but Dad interrupted, "I brought this place on the Outskirts, hardly a soul around for miles-"
She pulled me out of his arms, "No...we can't, it's too risky. The King is executing people left and right-"
He pulled me out of her arms, and held Dave as well, "Listen...I'll buy a horse, a cow, some chickens..all of this is ours."
For about a year, we were able to stay out of it, while Death and destruction was around, he stood out of it. Mom was grateful about that, since she had half fairy blood, and to her shock, mines and Dave's magic was very strong, but she was really scared for me, it was my magic grew stronger by the year; she was my teacher...
Dad was the royal Gardener, so he was gone most of the time, but came back as much as he could...then when I turned 9, my back was hurting a lot...I had a wing shaped cut on my back, I was growing wings...
I remembered holding my egg (Fang) which Dad brought for missing my birthday. I got out of bed, looking at the crack door.
Dad was sitting at the table, "I'm sorry, but I owe the Butler, he gave me the loan to buy this farm...and not to mention he's the main reason why the guards haven't given you any trouble."
"I understand that...But Buttercup...Buttercup...why not Dave?"
"You'll need Dave to plow the fields-"
"You are insane...You want to take Buttercup there...to that Bastard King's castle, he executes magic folks!"
"I know...but I own him...and my duties are too much for one person with the new queen."
"No you don't know, she is growing wings!"
"What?"
"It'll be a few years before they fully develop, but she has the mark...that cut will get bigger as she gets older until her wings will just pop out. And her magic is growing, especially with that emotional magic-"
"We'll be extra careful, but Buttercup will be less noticeable to the King. To him, she'll be just another worthless Daughter, not worth him looking. But Dave...he'll focus on Dave...as the son he always wanted, "My Dad shook his head, "I tell ya, anyone should be happy to have a child at all with the Spring Pox Plague and how often kids die in childbirth...he has one...but there is a rumor that he has four."
"Four?" Mom sat down.
"Yep, thanks to the Royal Sorceress...but his heir...he's not to happy about."
"Why?"
Dad sighed in frustration, "There's nothing wrong with him, the boy...is shy...but he's kind...trusting...but...children are blessings...Mimi...I can't refuse him...the Royal Butler."
End of Flashback
I snapped out of my flashback, and sighed...it was the next day and I was sitting at the Pub. It was slow today, but I was still pissed as I tapped my finger on the table. Fang was resting under me.
Some of the few customers were looking at Belle, whispering as a tray floated above her head.
"Belle! You're not suppose to use magic!" Blossom cried out as always. Brianna sighed in frustration too.
"Poo Poo." Belle pouted, but she smiled again, "But try my new round cakes...Mina...Moon Cakes sounds dummy dum...Jackie, you shouldn't agree with her...Fine...fine...but I name the next one, and you two can't change it or...off with your stuffing." She pointed into the air, "These...came from the inspiration of seeing that big white ball in the sky."
Enchantresses were hated because it was an Enchantress that made the King untouchable, her magic made it impossible to revolt against him...people hated them because unlike any othr magic folks, their magic could affect anything or anyone, and they were strong, I could be surounded by forest but Belle could still beat me.
Belle held the 'moon cake' in my face, but honestly...Belle enchanted to dolls to life...and of course there was the couple of destroyed festivals but she is harmless...
Blossom's POV
I sighed as Casey, Belle and I were going home. The town's tourists...one of them actually threw Belle's cooking on the floor when they came to the pub...I used a vial and turned him into a frog...The spell should hopefully wear off.
I stopped as they continued to walk pass me, Belle was still smiling wide and giggling...Jack and Mina skipping along...
She was so cheerfully...Belle never knew her Dad...her mom is dead...well most likely dead...and she's treated so horrible...and yet she can still smile.
Belle turned around and waved to me, " Cousin Blossy, c'mon, you've gotta tell Cousin K K about your new dumpling...of course, my pumpkin was way precious. He was cuter...than a pumpkin." Belle chuckled.
I mockingly gasped, "Not a chance, I hugged him...and he was so refreshingly honest and has a very nice butt."
Belle gasped while covering Casey's ears, "Cousin Blossy!"
Mina covered its eyes, and Jack covered its mouth.
"What? He does."
Mom was waiting for us at the cabin, she was reading something...
"Mom, what do you have there?" I asked.
Mom looked real pale, "Girls...Belle...did...have you been...it's nothing...just another...Poem from Johnny."
"Ok"Belle shrugged her shoulders and went inside, but I looked at Mom closely.
"Blossom, you're in charge until I come back."
Normal POV
Angela hurried through the town in almost a blur, until she reached the pub, she went to Maggie instantly. Maggie pulled her to the corner, Brianna was still cleaning up, so she wasn't paying too much attention.
Angela whispered, holding the paper, "Belle has just been offered a job...at the Castle."
