Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

OOC: Haha, uhh 7 years later, here's chapter 21? I felt like writing again, sorry if its a bit boring, but I'm planning on continuing the story. If anybody has any ideas on where it should go, leave a review? I forgot where I wanted to take this story, but I just couldn't leave it unfinished. We'll say this is continued right were we left of, yeah?

Sakura drew invisible lines in the markings of the seat cushion she was currently sitting on. There was the dull background noise of the television which was displaying the latest news of that week. But, instead of keeping up on current events Sakura was flying higher than a kite in her mind. Lately, thats how things had been going for her. In a figurative sense, she was losing her breath with every moment her and the prestigious copy nin spent together. She felt like a little girl, her mind spinning with opportunity of what was happening to her.

But things like this weren't real, or at least they wouldn't last. Could they?

Sakura was a smart girl, with years of knowledge and common sense on her. In the literal sense, she was just a girl. But she had the mental capability of an adult, quick to come to a logical and reasonable conclusion. She stopped her tracing of the cushion as light audible footsteps came closer to the door.

A rapping came a the door, and Sakura flinched with just as much vigor as the noise had came. There was a stale pause in the air, where all her senses seemed to go numb. Sakura noticed her clutch on the cushion couch and released it immediately. Raising off the couch slowly, her toes tipped across the carpet, approaching the door. An eye peered through the peek hole and one peered back at her.

"Sakura!"

A girly, feminine voice erupted from the other side, causing Sakura to burst into a grin as well as flinch at the same time. Ino bounced up and down as the door opened slowly. Blonde bangs fell to her right eye as she gave her final rock on her toes and fell into the doorway, arms wrapping around her dearest frenemy.

Sakura giggled receiving the hug with full force, causing her to stumble a little inside and greet her friend with warmth.

"Hey Pig. I was wondering if you were gonna come by."

The blonde girl regained her footing and dramatically twirled her hair around throwing her hands on her hips.

"Well, Forehead, this place isn't exactly easy to find! But it is Kakashi-sensi sooooo, I suppose it's expected right?"

The stunning blonde giggled for a moment then paused hesitating on her last statement.

"…He isn't here, is he?"

Sakura sighed giving her flamboyant friend a tired smile.

"No, he's not."

Sakura sat back to her little spot on the couch, lazily tracing the stitching while she watched her friend bounce around the place receiving an eyeful of everything.

"He's so clean. It's so unexpected of him, yaknow. I woulda guessed he was a slob!"

Ino paced around the available space, tracing her fingers on surfaces trying to inspect the place for dust that was not to be found. She gave a disgruntled "hmf" and prodded her way back to Sakura, her quiet counterpart and took a gentle seat next to the pink haired girl. There was a moment of mutual silence between them, and a manicured hand finally rested on Sakura's knee which received a small squeeze.

"I'm really glad you're okay, Sakura… Are you sure.."

If you looked hard enough, you could have seen a glimmer in her friend's eyes. The pink haired shinobi knew that not matter how many debates, arguments, and differences the two girls had that this blonde friend of hers was loyal. Sakura grabbed the females hand and squeezed it gently, reassuring Ino that things were going to be okay.

"I'm fine, I promise. Thank you for coming to visit me. You're actually the first. Besides Kakashi-sensi that is."

She paused, assuming that was probably silly to say. This was his place after all. But, what she meant was something else. He was the only one to really see her after the whole incident. She was grateful that her friend hadn't asked for the details, like she usually would have. If it was one thing she liked about Ino was her mutual respect for serious things.

The long haired blonde gave a bigger smile before sliding her hand off her friend's knee and sighing as if she was stressed out. Ino couldn't lie, it was a bit odd that they were both alone in the copy-nin's apartment.

Sakura enjoyed this part of her blonde friend, no crazy yelling, or wild assumptions-

"So, have you two fucked yet?"

Ino beamed, her arms folding and peering at the shocked shinobi that clutched her knees at the repulsive question. Sakura's heart raced, and she wasn't sure if she should be upset, offended, or embarrassed. Surprisingly, she gave a nervous laugh.

There was no point in getting mad at her friend. Her choice of words seemed a little insensitive, especially after what had happened to her. But she came to the realization that nobody else really knew. Unless she confessed right on the spot that she had been brutally raped, it was in her best interest to keep quiet about it. So, she played along and loosened her death grip on herself.

"Ha, Ino. Theres not a chance in hell sense would go for this."
"Bullshit! He's got a decent looking girl sleeping on his couch every night. You can't tell me he doesn't creep in here and try and watch you sleep or some shit!"

The blonde giggled at Sakura's uncomfortable manner. They both knew she was joking, and Ino of all people knew Sakura was a prude if anything. There was no way! However, she paused watching the girl.

The pink haired shinobi had flashbacks of kiss after kiss that had happened in the past 24 hours. His lips were so lovely, rough enough to be a mans, but soft enough to relieve her anxiety and calm her nerves. She blinked through the flashback and noticed Ino staring at her. The blonde had an obvious lightbulb moment.

"Ha… Sakura?"

Her eyes got wide, and as the seconds ticked on, her grin got wider and wider. Pearly whites were showing by the time Sakura opened her mouth.

At that moment the door swung open and a blue jounin boot stepped inside. The girls swung their heads at the door, eyes wide.

"Yo."

Silver hair pressed up messily against his headband, pieces falling to the front and back. A lazy looking eye traced the outline of the females sitting on his couch. This was a new sight for him. Two females waiting back home for him. What a lucky, lucky man. He inwardly chuckled, thinking of the irony. As usual, it looked as if Ino had surprised Sakura with a dirty joke, one to make the poor pink haired shinobi blush a deep pink.

"Hey Kakashi-sensi! I was just on my way out! I wanted to check on Sakura, I hope you don't mind!"

Ino's teeth glittered as much as her sweet words. She raised herself from the couch giving a genuinely fake smile to the male. Kakashi eye'd the female for a moment, regarding her as fake, but played the game and gave her the pleasure of a smile smile and nod.

"Not a problem at all Ino, you're more than welcome to come any time to see her."

The blonde glittered at his response with another grin and turned to Sakura, her back to the copy-nin. As soon as her face was out of his sight, the act dropped and she placed a hand on her friend's shoulder, giving it a hard squeeze. Her eyebrow was raised giving an obvious sign that Sakura was well aware she was going to be harassed later about this.

"Bye girly…"

The blonde's voice seethed pure curiosity, the end notes being high pitched and trailing off to leave one wonder what she was thinking about. Sakura watched speechless, as her friend bubbly danced around the silver haired jounin and closed the door behind her. She exhaled hard, her shoulders going limp.

Kakashi raised an eyebrow, going from inspecting the oddly happy Ino as she left, to an exasperated Sakura hunched over on his couch. He raised a small bag in his grasp, shrugging his shoulders.

"Ramen?"

OOC: Not as juicy, but I'm a tad lost on where to continue. Was this okay? Sorry for any misspellings or differences in the story. Haven't read/watched Naruto in years! Just really enjoy this couple!
