Pansy sat on the bus and looked out the window at Rick and Carl standing outside the church. Her fingers pressed against the glass and she wished that she could somehow convey everything she felt. The bus slowly rolled away and she felt a warm hand on her shoulder. She turned to see Maggie smiling at her. "I'm sure we'll cross paths again. He's like a bad penny; always turning back up."
Pansy smiled back at her. "Yea; I'm sure your right."
Maggie patted her arm and moved to sit next to Glen. She placed her head on the glass and tried to block the wave of emotions she felt. There was nothing to do but move forward. Draco was far too dangerous to leave with Rick and the group, plus she was unsure how he will react if he finds out that she has feelings for Rick. When Abraham made his ultimatum Pansy decided that it was the best option for everyone if she and Draco join him. There was also a real possibility that she could find some magic users in DC that could help her figure out what it was that she was supposed to find.
"Hey, you want a drink?"
She looked up to see Draco holding a water bottle to her. She glared at him and turned her attention back to the window. He sighed.
"Come on Parkinson, don't be like that. I'm just trying to be friendly."
"Maybe you should have tried being friendly when we were together. You know; instead of knocking me about."
Draco hung his head and turned back to his seat. "I'm sorry."
"Well, that just aint gonna cut it."
She could overhear Glen and Maggie talking behind her about how Rick and the rest of the group might be on the road that they might catch up to them. There was some conversation about Rosita giving Abraham a haircut and something about Eugene's hair and him being "a fun guy" but she was not really paying attention. The abandoned cars and trees blurred into soft colored lines out her window. It was almost beautiful. A glimmer of hope burned inside her and Pansy smiled to herself as if she somehow knew that it would not be the last time she would see Rick Grimes. It was at that moment the bus began to swerve hard and she realized that they were going to crash.

Ron walks into Dawns office and finds that O'Donnell is there. "We have limited resources, we need to shut off the machines and let her go." Ron fights the urge to punch O'Donnell in the neck and tries to think of a reasonable argument.
"What about your DVD player?"
O'Donnell and Dawn turn Ron. O'Donnell sneers. "What about it?"
"You charge it every night. Don't you think that is a waste of our limited resources?"
Dawn looks to O'Donnell and back to Ron.
"O'Donnell is right, we have limited resources and if she is going to pull through she will have to do it on her own. Take her off the machines."
Ron is angry and dumbstruck at the same time.
"You just killed Luna."
"No, you did. I have to maintain order and that means being impartial. There are already rumblings that I favor you over the other officers and I can't have that. However; you can save her." She hands him keys.
"These are to the med cabinet. I don't trust anyone with these, so be careful. I'll tell you what to give her." Ron eyed her suspiciously. She placed a hand on his cheek.
"Trust me, with your help we are going to make this place what it was meant to be." She placed a kiss on his cheek. "You'll see." Ron nodded and headed down the hall to try and figure out how to get to the med cabinet without being seen when he passed Licari.
"Come on carrot top; we are rolling out."
Ron looked confused. "What are you on about? I'm not up today."
"Yea, but Lamson called in some gunshots and they need back up. So, let get to it."
Ron had to bit his tongue to keep from cursing.
"Ok, Let me get my gear."
"Fine, I'll be in the car. Just don't take all day."
Ron quickly walked to Luna's room and Beth was there. At least something was going right. He gave her the keys and told her what med's to give her. Beth nodded and reassured him that she would take care of it. He turned to head down to the car.
"Hey, is there anything else I need to do for her, or say?"
Ron stopped for a moment. He handed her Luna's wand. It is a deep mahogany color and the end is carved to look like a tulip. Its strong and delicate just like it's owner. "Let her know you have her wand, make sure you keep it safe and...tell her Ron said he is sorry for being a giant git, and I will do everything I can to get her back to London safely." Beth smiled. "You got it."
Ron is not really paying attention when he and Licari locate the shots. Licari is driving and he pulls the car around so that Shepard and Lamson can dive into the backseat. He is shooting an automatic rifle and Ron is just trying to keep his head down and take a random shot here and there. They pull off in the car, but the tire is shot and they are in some nightmare land where undead bodies are glued to the pavement. It takes a good deal of effort on Ron's part to keep his lunch down. Shepard and Lamson take off and Licari takes cover behind a burnt out trailer. Ron decides that the trailer looks pretty good and hides on the other end. They hear the group run around the corner. Most of the group heads for the parking structure but one of them is inspecting the trailer. He can feel his chest tighten. He do not have a clue who these people are or what they want, but if he fails Dawn she is certain to make Beth and Luna pay for his mistakes. The man opens the door to the trailer and Ron sees that Licari is going to make his move. He charges the guy and catches him off guard. Ron stays back just in case but the fight is going Licari's way. Then the guy uses a walker skull to knock Licari off of him. Ron quickly steps out with his gun drawn. Licari laughs.
"You lose asshole." Then the world went dark.

Beth closed the door behind her and quickly pulled out the saline bag and hung it from the metal pole beside Luna's bed. Once the bag was changed, she drew up the medicine and injected it into the IV. She waited for a moment and grabbed a hold of Luna's hand.
"Hi Luna. My name is Beth and I'm a friend of Ron's. He is going to help us get out of here. I'm going to take your wand and keep it safe for you. Also he said to tell you that he is a giant git and that he will make sure you get back to London safe." She lifted the covers and checked her socks. Once she found the wand, she tucked it into her sock and slipped out the door as quietly as she had entered.

Rick is standing over a man on the ground. His revolver is draw and pointed at the man's head.
"You'll die...you'll all die."
Rick pulls the trigger and the man goes silent.
"Shut up."
He gets back into the car and returns to the parking garage where the other offices are being held. Once he is inside he explains what has happened. Shepard is concerned and starts to worry that Dawn won't make the trade. Lacari reassures her that they can make the deal work. A noise drew their attention and Lacari sighed.
"I guess sleeping beauty decided to join us."
Daryl walked away and came around supporting a third officer. He was walking slowly and holding his head with his left hand as Daryl guided him by his right arm. Noah's eyes widened when he saw the new officer.
"Wait, when did he get here?"
Daryl shrugged. "Got knocked out when we took Lacari. Why?"
"Don't you know him? That's Ron, he came in with Beth."
Daryl's eyes snapped back to Ron and moved his hand around Ron's neck. "Where is she?"
Noah waved his hands. "No, I mean they are friends, he was trying to help us all escape but I was the only one to make it out." Lacari spoke up. "Guys, if Weasley is on your side this is good. Dawn will listen to him. I think she had a thing for him."
Ron grimaced but he nodded in agreement. "What's the play?"
Daryl looked to Rick and Rick nodded. "Bring him up to speed."

Pansy crawled from the bus with the others and looked around. The bus was on its side and going nowhere. None of the vehicles in the area appeared to be in better condition. She shook her head, this was not looking good. They started looking for options when Abraham insisted that they push forward. Eugene confessed that he had lied and he has no idea how to fix this. Abraham attacked Eugene leaving him unconscious. Once things calmed down a bit; Pansy went to check on him; it looks bad but she might be able help him. She mixes an elixir from her bag into the water bottle that Draco offered her earlier. Walking back over to Eugene she kneels down to poor some of the water into his mouth.
"Get away from him."
She slowly raises her hands. "I'm just trying to help."
"No one is helping that lying sack of crap. Got it!"
They both turned toward the click a gun hammer being pulled back. Maggie stood with the gun pointed at Abraham.
"He's getting water." She glanced down at Pansy and nodded. Pansy poured a bit of the water and hoped for the best.

Ron led the group into the hospital followed by Lacari and Sheppard. Once they got to the door to the main hallway Rick took the lead. He took Ron by the arm and Sasha Daryl and Carol were behind Lacari and Sheppard. It was decided that for Noah's safety he should wait outside. It was better if Dawn did not know that he was still alive. Everyone was packing, but they had lowered their gun, for now. Beth pulled up a wheelchair with Luna in it next to Dawn.
"No one has been hurt."
Dawn looks over the group. "Where is Lamson?"
Lacari speaks up without missing a beat. "Rotters got him. We saw the whole thing go down."
She nodded. "That's a shame; he was one of the good guys. One of yours for one of mine."
She had an officer push Luna down the hall. Carol smiled at the blond and pulled her chair to the back. Lacari walked to Dawn at the other end of the hall. Dawn waited for a moment and then took Beth by the arm and walked her to the middle of the hall. Rick met her there with Sheppard and once Dawn had released Beth, Sheppard joined her. Dawn stayed near the center of the hall while her team stayed a few steps back. She nodded to Rick as he gathered his group.
"I'm glad we could work this out."
Rick looked back at her and answered over his shoulder. "Yea."
Dawn watched them start to leave and it burned her that Noah was gone and now she was losing Ron as well. She could hear the others whispering behind her back. No, she can't let this stand.
"I just need Ron back, and then you can leave"
Rick turns and walks back toward Dawn. "That wasn't part of the deal."
"I trained Ron. All his gear and his clothes belong to me. So I need him to stay."
"Ma'am please...we don't have to..."
"Sheppard shut it." Dawn quickly rebuffed her response.
"My officers put their lives on the line playing chase with you today, one of them died."
Daryl growled "No he aint staying."
"You have no claim on him."
"He wants to go with us; so you have no claim on him."
Dawn didn't flinch. "Well then we don't have a deal."
Rick raises his voice "The deal is done."
Ron quickly begins to understand that there is no way to avoid more bloodshed without staying. He walks forward. "It's...it's ok."
Rick extends his arm "No no."
"I have to do it."
"It's not ok." Ron turns and sees the hurt in Beth's face. The last thing he wants to do is leave her but this is for the best. He will have to find another way to get out of here on his own.
Dawn smiles "Its settled".
He starts to walk to Dawn when Beth shouts "Wait." He turns and she runs up and hugs him tightly. He leans into her ear and whispers "it's ok".
"I knew you'd be back."
Beth glares at Dawn. She is no longer able to hold back her contempt. She moves to her slowly like a predator sizing up her prey.
Luna suddenly remembers that Beth has her wand. She rises from her wheelchair and walks to Beth. As she approaches Beth the situation quickly escalates.
"I get it now."
Luna starts to grab Beth. At this point Beth had removed the scissors from her cast and at the moment she jammed them into Dawn's neck, Luna stepped to Beth and pushed her back just a bit. This slight movement was just enough to keep Beth from the line of fire. Dawn reflexively shot her gun when Beth stabbed her, Luna's body dropped to the floor. Beth stood there in shock with blood sprayed across her face and torso. Ron cried out and drew his gun on Dawn. She shook her head in disbelief and tried to offer an explanation, but Ron pulled the trigger before she was able to get a word in. He dropped to the floor and placed a hand gently on Luna's face. He could feel his heart breaking, somehow he knew that Luna had been the best of all of them. "I'm so sorry Luna...I wanted to keep that promise." He lifted her into his arms and held her close as the tears fell down his face.
Sheppard got the rest of the group to back down. "Hold your fire. It was just about her." She turned to Rick, "You can stay here, were surviving."
Rick shook his head and turned to leave. The others followed behind him.
Abraham was the first one out of the fire truck. Michonne followed with Rosita and Tara close behind. Pansy, Glen and Maggie were the last ones out of the truck. They walked slowly to the hospital doors and everyone relaxed for a moment when Rick walked out. Pansy watched everyone file out and waited to see if Luna was with them. She noticed a mop of red hair coming towards them and her heart lifted. It must be Ron, and maybe they even found Hermione. That was when she noticed the lifeless body that he was caring. The body that had very distinctive blond hair. She locked eyes with Ron and immediately knew that Luna was gone. Pansy didn't remember collapsing to the pavement, but there she was; weeping uncontrollably .
"I shouldn't have lost her. She was with me and then we got separated. I should have looked harder for her..."
Ron stopped for a moment. "No, it's not your fault. It just all went wrong. Sometimes it just goes wrong."
She laid her forehead on Luna's head and wept. Rick wrapped his arms around her and gently pulled her back. She leaned into him a wept for a moment. In this world you were only allowed a moment. After she took several deep breaths they walked to the fire truck and began to load up so they can leave, there is nothing left to say.

Tyreese was still trying to figure out what was going on when he decide to get into the backseat of the car. Bob was sitting in the passenger seat still smiling. Lizzy was sitting next to him.
"I'm glad you're coming with us. You will like it; I know." He smiled back at her and then he realized that someone was in the driver's seat. He looked up and noticed a head of wavy blond hair. Large blue eyes met his and he shook his head in disbelief.
"Yes Tyreese; Its better here."
He wanted ask if it was Luna, but somehow he knew that it was her. This was all so strange but it felt very comfortable. He was not entirely sure where he was but he was certain that she was right. It is better here. He eased back into the seat as Luna put the car into gear and headed down the road.
"It is better here."
AN: Ok so I hope you don't hate me now. Sorry it took so long to flesh this one out but I wanted to do it right. I know it sucks to kill off charters, but I just feel like you have to have some losses if you are in the Walking Dead world. It's just too violent and chaotic for everyone to make it out alive. Thanks for reading and I hope you stick with me. I think you are going to like the surprises I have planned for our group in Alexandria .
