Peeks out nervously* Um...hey everyone...

sighs* Okay I know I am super extremely late here with updating this. I know it seems like I fell off the face of the earth but honestly I didn't. I never really left but I've mostly been posting stories on my deviantART account. So that combined with writers block for this story and lack of motivation for this story just kinda caused me to keep putting this on the backburner.

BUT I am getting close to the end of this story. How many chapters are left, I can't exactly say. If I had to guess maybe...three? Four? Maybe five? I dunno. But the point is, is that since I am so close to finishing this story, then there is no way in heck I am giving up on it now! Plus not to mention I got 2 other books left in the series.

Another reason why this is late is because I've been moving. So yeah, having to pack everything up is not fun xP We STILL have stuff in boxes right now! I hope we get it unpacked soon. So in addition to the packing and moving, throw in a birthday, volunteer work, babysitting a one year old everyday, chores and a bad cold in there by the time I did have a chance to get on the computer, I didn't really feel like writing and would rather rp with my friends.

BUT this story shall not go uncompleted! Same with my other stories on here!

Anyway~ To the disclaimer!

Johan and Peewit belong to Peyo

Jo belongs to CartoonCaster21

Livy belongs to me.

Enjoy

Livy yelped, dodging out of the way as the snake lunged itself at her. She jumped to the right as the snake lept forward, hitting air. When it landed on the ground, the serpent angrily hissed and lunged after the girl again.

"NO!" Livy yelled jumping away as the snake tried to bite her ankle. It seemed like no matter what she did,as soon as she moved so did the snake.

The serpent hissed once more and slithered around the girl, wrapping it's body around her legs, causing Livy to fall. She groaned in pain, having the wind knocked out of her, only to come face to face with the creatures red eyes.

The snake lunged again.

"Praestringo!"

A bolt of ice shot out of her hand, hitting the snake head on. Livy watched was the ice traveled down all around the snakes body until it was completely frozen. Livy just layed on the ground for several long seconds with the now harmless, frozen snake still wrapped around her legs.

Once she got her breath back and her heart rate returned to normal, she began to try to stand up only to realize she had a minor problem: When she froze the snake, the snake was wrapped around her body, ergo accidentally trapping herself.

"Fuuudge a duck." Livy groaned laying her head back on the ground. This seriously was not her day.

As carefully as she could, she wiggled around until she felt her body begin to slide out.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!"

The sudden scream caused Livy to involuntarily jerk, causing her leg to break through the icey snake, but also breaking it in half. Cracks formed in the ice and suddenly the snake shattered into a million pieces. Livy watched wide eyed as the frozen snake began to melt; steaming rising and a horrible sound emitting from the pieces. Once all the ice completely dissolved, the water observed into the floor, leaving it completely dry and Livy dumbfounded.

"What the-"

"SNAAAAAAAAAAAKE! SNAKE IN THE CASTLE! AAAAAAAHHHH!"

Livy suddenly remembered the reason that caused her to jerk like that in the first place and bolted for the stairs. Upon coming out of the lab she stopped dead in her tracks and gaped at the sight before her.

The castle was in complete chaos. Servants were running all over the place being chased by snakes! They were everywhere! In the bread basket, on the floor, under rugs and stairs. Everywhere you could see were snakes, paniced people and more snakes.

"MOOOOOOOMMMMMMAAAAAAA!" Peewit screamed running for his life as a viper chased after him.

"Get back! Back I say!" Jo warned swatting at some more of the scaly beasts with a broom as they cornered her against the wall. One of the snakes hissed at her and began to climb up the broom. Jo yelped and dropped the broom like a hot potato and ran.

"Jo!" Livy called to her friend rushing over. "What's going on?!"

"How the feathers should I know?!" Jo exclaimed. "One minute I was in my room sketching and the next thing I know, I hear screaming and then the whole castle is flooded with them!"

"A little help guys!" Peewit exclaimed running past more snakes chasing him. Livy quickly held up her hand and blasted them with a blast of ice, freezing them.

"Come on! We gotta do something!" Livy ordered and the three split up to find more of the scaly demons and kill them before someone got bit.

"Help! Help!" The Good King yelled as he ran as three snakes chased after him. "Help! Johan!"

"I'm right here Sire!" the young knight said as he ran over and with one mighty swing of his sword, chopped the snakes heads clean off. "Are you alright, your Majesty?"

"Fine, fine. I'm okay." the King huffed as he tried to catch his breathe. "Where are all these snakes coming from?"

"I don't know." Johan answered. "But they must be stopped!"

"No duh Sherlock!" Jo growled as she ran past them swinging a broom at a snake.

Meanwhile Livy was on the other side of the castle and was freezing snakes left and right. "There's to many of them!"

"GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF OF ME!" Peewit shrieked as he ran by. Livy gasped seeing a huge snake wrapped around the boy's neck and draping off his shoulders.

"Hold still Peewit!" the brunette said as she carefully took aim and blasted the serpent, freezing it.

"H-How do I get it off?!" the blonde jester paniced.

"Okay, okay just hold..." Livy trailed off as something caught her attention. She followed the path where it seemed a lot of the serpents were coming from. She followed the trail with her eyes and saw that the snakes were coming from...Heidie's room?

"LIVY!"

"Sorry!" Livy yelped and grabbed a sword off the wall and brought the blade down, causing the frozen snake to break in a hundred pieces.

"Oh, thanks Liv-Hey! Where are you going?!" Peewit called as his female friend took off running to Heidie's room.

When Livy reached her destination she gasped upon seeing "sweet, innocent, Heidie" sitting on her window seat, holding a snake in her hand. "You!"

Heidie looked up, honey colored eyes widening in shock, not expecting Livy to be there. "Your not supposed to be here!"

"Your behind the snakes!"

"Smart one aren't you girly?" the redhead smirked. She turned to the snake in her hand and seemed to whisper something to it. The snake flicked it's forked tongue out and slowly turned to Livy. His yellow eyes narrowed and filled with a look of pure hatred.

"Hmm~ It seems like my little pet wants to play with you, dearie." Heidie purred in a sickeningly sweet tone of voice. She turned back to the snake. "Get her."

And then, without warning the snake hissed loudly and lunged for Livy, practically flying clear across the room.

Livy screamed and made a run for it as the snakee Heidie was holding, and it's companions chased after the poor girl. As she ran, Livy held out her palm and blasted at the snakes, attempting to freeze them. But these snakes seemed to be smarter than the others and slithered out of the way before the ice blast could hit them. Livy kept shooting blasts at them again, and again but each time they failed. Soon the girl quickly found herself running down the halls of the castle. She took a left turn, only to come face to face with a dead end. The brunette tried to turn to run again but the snakes had cornered her.

"What do I do now?!" Livy thought, panicing as she put her back against the wall. She tried freeze blasting them again but just like before the snakes simply slithered off to the side. Some even slithering up onto the walls. She was trapped!

"Come on, think Livy! Think! There must be some way out of this!" Livy's brain raced trying to come up with an idea. Fire? No that wouldn't work, the castle would burn down. Freezing was out of the question. Crushing them with earth would work but there was nothing for her to bend! What was left? Earth, fire, water...air? Wind!

"I got it!" Livy exclaimed excitedly. The snakes were getting closer, their fangs dripping with poison, ready to be sunk into her flesh. She shut her eyes and began to chant a spell.

The wind is soft
The wind is tough

Gentle breeze not to rough
You bring a cold whisper ever so slow

A small secret for only me and you to know

A fierce wind suddenly began to blow through the castle, gentle at first but quickly it began to gain strength.

You brush through, a lax blow
You seem to talk but never speak

Shifting the leaves in a calming blow.

"What's happening?!" Jo hollered over the winds as she began to slide backwards on the floor.

"Where is this wind suddenly coming from?!" Johan hollered aslo being pulled back.

"It's Livy!" was all Peewit could say as he struggled to hang onto the stairway banister. Pots and pans and paintings and baskets, anything that wasn't nailed down began to blow in the winds as a tunnel began to form.

You seem to talk but never speak
Hunting the earth you always seek

I call out to you from a hidden land

All in one demand

For the breeze you seem to blow!

As she chanted and the funnel grew, the funnel began to roam about the castle and one by one began to snatch up all the snakes. The slithering demons would try to fight back but were no use. Soon all the snakes were caught in the swirling vortex. Livy lifted her arms and manipulated the wind tunnel to move, sending it right out the castle doors. With one last wave of her arms, the snakes were shot high, high into the air and disappeared along with the wind tunnel. Never to be seen again.

"Yes! I did it! I did it!" Livy cheered doing a fist bump. She ran out of the dead end hallway she was previously trapped in and ran back to try to find people. The castle was a wreck but from what Livy could see, no one was hurt. Seriously or otherwise.

"Is everyone okay?" Livy asked as she ran in.

"I'm still living." Jo groaned as she and another servant worked together to pull the King's throne back into it's rightful place.

"How tragic." Dame Barbra mumbled under her breath.

"Well done Miss Olivia!" the King congratulated shaking her hand and patting her on the back. "You saved us all from those horrid snakes!"

"But we still don't know where the snakes came from." Johan pointed out.

"I do!" Livy announced and all eyes fell on her. "It was Heidie! Heidie was the one controlling the snakes!"

Obviously this caused a few people to gasp and a few jaws to drop.

"I knew there was something about that chic that I didn't like." Jo snarled.

"Now hold on a minute!" Johan exclaimed, looking at Livy in disbelief. "What on earth makes you believe that an innocent girl like Heidie could possibly be behind this?!"

"I SAW her!" Livy shot back, narrowing her green colored eyes. "She was holding one of the snakes like a pet! And then she sent it and a bunch of others to attack me!"

"I don't believe you!" Johan scoffed crossing his arms. "Your making this up!"

"I am not!" Livy yelled.

"Hey, where is Heidie anyway?" Peewit asked looking around, noticing that the redhead wasn't there.

"She's still probably in her room. Come on I'll show you!" Livy said and then ran towards Heidie's room. Johan followed right behind her. Jo, Peewit, Dame Barbra and the King all looked at each other before shrugging and following.

"Heidie!" Livy snarled, flinging the bedroom door open. However her angry expression turned to one of confusion seeing the room empty. "What the-?"

"Where is she?" Jo asked as she and the other's arrived.

"I-I don't know! She was right here!" Livy said confused. "She must have ran off!"

"Or maybe the poor thing is hiding." Johan hissed, glaring at Livy.

"Shh, I hear something." The King shooshed. Everyone fell silent and listened hard. After a moment or two, the six people heard the sound of...sniffling?

"Is someone crying?" Peewit asked.

"It's coming from the wardrobe." Johan said going over to said wardrobe. He opened the doors and there, on the floor huddled up in a ball was Heidie. She sniffled and looked up with wide teary eyes. "Heidie?"

"Oh Johan!" the young woman sobbed, practically throwing herself at Johan, wrapping her arms around his neck and burrying her face in his shoulders. Livy clenched her fist and her jaw, trying very hard not to attack the girl right then and there.

"Oh Johan, I was so scared!" Heidie sobbed clinging to the knight for dear life. "I-I heard people screaming and-and people were running a-and then a snake came in here and I paniced so I hid in the wardrobe!"

"Oh cut the bullcrap!" Livy snarled storming over. She grabbed Heidie by the back of her dress and whipped her around so they were eye to eye. "Why don't you tell everybody the truth! That your the one who sent the snakes! Tell them how you specifically told one to attack me!"

Heidie's eyes widened with fear and more tears fell down her face. "W-What are you talking about? I-I would never-! I-I didn't! I...I..." and she burst into a fresh set of tears.

"Leave this poor woman alone!" Johan demanded grabbing Livy's wrist and throwing it off of Heidie.

"She's lying Johan!" Livy said desperately.

"The only liar that I see around here, is you!"

Livy gasped and reeled back, hurt flashing in her bright green eyes. Johan just glared at her with anger and...hatred?

"Come on Heidie," the knight said softly as he then turned his attention to the sniveling red head. "Let's get you taken care of." he said as he gently lead her over to Dame Barbra.

"Come you poor child." Dame Barbra said as she gently began to lead Livy out of the room. "You've been through so much." She said glaring at Livy as she and Heidie left. The King shot Livy a disappointed look and left the room as well.

"If it helps, we believe you Livy." Jo said softly going up to her friend. "Right Peewit?"

"Um..."

"Peewit!"

"Well I dont know! She looked genuinely upset!" the jester defended.

"Haven't you heard of acting?" Jo snapped.

"It's okay guys." Livy mumbled, looking down and holding her locket. She bit her lip, trying not to cry and hurried out of the room. Jo and Peewit looking on sadly.

If you feel bad for Livy now, you'll REALLY feel bad for her next chapter (And I promise I wont let this story go unupdated for months...again) Next chapter might be sorta short though, but it'll be dramatic.

Special thanks to my awesome friend Witty for helping me out with this chapter. :D

And yes that wind spell Livy said was the same wind spell that she used at the end of book one to defeat Balthazaar. ;P

Again I am so, so sorry this story is late. Please don't hate me guys. ;w;

On another note though, if any of you guys are into Hetalia and dont already follow me on DeviantART, I have a lot of hetalia stories on there if anyone is interested. I also got a few oneshots of Livy and Johan (and one of Jo and Peewit) and even a few pictures of my characters if anyone is interested.

Love you guys and I'll see you soon.

Bye~
