Edward and I where sitting in a large beautiful meadow. Our meadow. Conversation flowed easily and we talked about everything and nothing. Then he started playing with the ring around my neck. The ring that hadn't moved in nearly a hundred years.
"You kept it," he whispered.
"Of coarse," I said softly, "this, and my memories where all I had left of you. I never let it out of my sight, in fact, I've never taken it off."
He grinned crookedly, "good," he stated.
I blinked. "Good?" I asked, confused.
"Yes. I'm glad it's safe, so that I can do this..." He reached around m neck and undid the clasp. Staring into my eyes, he removed the ring off the golden chain. His eyes flickered towards it. I stared deeply into his golden eyes as he got down on one knee and said the words that I will never forget; "will you marry me?" To which I responded, "yes," and we hugged, and we kissed, and he slid the ring onto my finger, where it belongs. It was a perfect day.
The wedding was perfect. Right after the sun went down we came out. I was very nervous, yet glad that it was Edward waiting for me at the other end of that isle. My Edward. The man I was sure had died, had come back to sweep me off my feet. I love him with all my heart. I just wish that our parents where here to see us finally get married. My dad would have been so proud.
The vows where traditional. Old Fashioned. Just like us. When the time finally came to say "I do" and receive a kiss from my dear sweet Edward, I was nearly bouncing with anticipation, and when his lips slowly came towards mine, I felt my dead heart stop. When They collided, I was home.
Done. Finished. Sorry it took so long.. I'm just super lazy. I was reading over some of this, and I realized that it's crap.. I might rewrite. But really, I'm sick of this story. I'm gonna put it as complete, and see what feedback people give me..
