Chapter 21 - Great Grandparents

Kim's POV - Saturday - 8am - September 7th

"Ugh!" I groan as my phones goes off for the 5th time in the past 3 minutes, "What!" I said as I answered extremely annoyed,

"Kim! Its me! Are you up?" I heard Jack's voice say,

"I am now! What do you want Brewer!? Its 8am on a Saturday!" I hissed.

"I know, I'm sorry, but meet me in front of your house in 5 minutes, its an emergency." He said and hung up before I could reply and I sighed and got out of bed, I didn't bother changing cause I was in pink cropped sweatpants and a white & black stripped crop top, so I just slipped on my slippers and put my hair into a pony tale and crept downstairs, I walked outside shutting the door to see Jack already stood waiting.

"What's up?" I asked more calmer.

"Right, my dad got a phone call from my grandparents in Colorado, saying that they are gonna be on there way in an hour and will be here in 3 hours," He stated panicking.

"So?" I asked confused.

"So, my grandparents are extremely religious or whatever and dont believe in sex before marriage and hate teenage parents, my dad didnt tell them about Kaitlyn since she was 1 month old because he was scared of what they would say," He explained.

"And what does that have to do with me?" I asked confused.

"They said there coming for a family dinner at mine, and they want you & Kaitlyn there." He added.

"Me?" I asked.

"Yeah well, they didnt say you, they said, The teenage mother thing, so I'm guessing you," He said.

"Thing, they called me a thing," I said offended.

"Hey, at least thats not as offending as, The gormless bastard who couldnt keep it in the pants guy," He said and I nodded.

"Good point." I said, "But that still doesnt explain why Im up at 8." I said.

"Didnt you listen, I said they would be here in 3 hours, they'll probably have a nap for 2 hours, so that only gives you 5 hours to go shopping with my mum and get apropriate clothing for you & Kaitlyn." He stated.

"Appropriate?" I asked.

"Yeah, my grandparents believe that at dinner, people should always dress elegantly, meaning girls shouldnt be in shorts or jeans, but should be in dresses and skirts, and my grandparents are sorta thinking that you dont know how to dress like a lady instead of a um, well I'm just gonna say thing." He said and I sighed. "My mum said be over in half hour and you can go shopping, she's gonna buy Gabriella something and Lorna & Amelia are going with you because they need said and I nodded,

"Fine, I'll just get me & Kaitlyn dressed." I stated and he nodded,

"Thanks, bye." He said and kissed me on the cheek before hurrying home and I sighed walking inside, I quickly got changed into a pair of pink skinny jeans, a pink top with a black piece sign on it, a black opened waistcoat, black combat boots and a silver love heart necklace and my Kaitlyn bracelet, I put my hair into a pony tale and fed and dressed Kaitlyn in a minny mouse dress and little red & black coat and sock converse and a black hat. I wrote a note for my dad and put Kaitlyn into the stroller and put on my black leather biker jacket and walked over to the Brewers, I saw Shaun kissing his girlfriend Delia Desai and Phoebe putting Amelia into her car seat, and Jack stood next to Gabriella as Lorna got into the car,

"Hey," I said and they turned towards me and smiled, Jack smiled and walked over kissing Kaitlyn on the forehead and seperated the stroller and the car seat, He handed me the car seat and folded up the stroller putting it into the boot, and then took the car seat and put it in the middle seat.

"Okay, lets get going before they get here," Phoebe said smiling and kissed Gabriella goodbye, I walked round the car and me and Jack were stood on the left side of the car whilst all the others were on the right and couldnt see us except for Lorna who was in the front seat.

"Right, you all set?" He asked me and I nodded, "Oh here," He said and took out his wallet and took out $150,

"Whoa, whats that for?" I asked.

"What do you think." He said trying to get me to take the money,

"Jack Its fine I've got money," I stated.

"So, if it wasnt for my family, you wouldn't have to go out and get some clothes for a meal, and besides Kaitlyn is my daughter so I have to give you money for her, and I want to, so please take it," He said and I sighed and took it putting it into my front pocket and he smiled, "Thankyou." He said and leaned into the car kissing Kaitlyn on her head aswell as Amelia, he leaned back and kissed me on the cheek and then kissed Lorna on the forehead and I got into the car putting on my seatbelt and Jack closed my door.

Jack's POV

"What now?" I asked Shaun when mum drove away.

"Now you two, better go get some smart clothes to wear, quickly." Gabriella said locking the front door, "Go see your dad, I'm off to work." She said walking to the caf,

"Come on Bust." I said picking up Buster.

Kim's POV

"Mummy look at this dress." Amelia said holding up a white dress with pink flowers on it and a pink stripe around the waist,

"Thats gorgeous Meme, you want it?" Phoebe asked.

"Yeah mama, do you think grandma and grandpa will love it?" She asked.

"Yes, I think they will, lets get you a pink headband to wear with it." She said smiling and Amelia smiled a not so toothy smile,

"Hey Kim, look at this." Lorna said showing me a little baby girls dress, and I smiled.

"That is amazing." I said looking at it properly, it was red velvet with a black stripe around the waist and and black around the colar, it had black dimantes on he bottom of it, "What do you think Kaitlyn, you want it?" I asked her smiling and she smiled,

"Kim." Phoebe said and I turned my head towards her and saw her holding a black fluffy short sleeved cardigan with a diamond to connect it,

"Oh you are gonna be the best dressed there Kaity Brewer," I stated smiling,

Jack's POV - 2pm

"Hey," Mum said walking into the house holding bags with Lorna & Amelia in tow,

"Hey, where's Kim?" I asked.

"Here." Kim answered pushing the stroller through the door and I smiled walking over, I kissed Kim on the cheek and picked up a giggly Kaitlyn from the stroller and kissed her whilst holding her to my chest.

"Right, my folks are still asleep right now, they will up in half an hour though, so you better change, Kim are you gonna stay here until after dinner?" Dad asked.

"Um no, I'm gonna go have a bath and bath this little one." She said touching Kaitlyn on the back,

"Okay, well dinner is a 5, Jack will go over and pick you both up." He said and she nodded,

"I'll walk you back now." I said and she nodded.

Well, next chapter and Kim is gonna meet Jack's grandparents! xxx
