"You little shit; you were listening the whole time weren't you?" They laughed together for a long time, holding each other and giggling like little girls. "Yes, you're mine, and never forget that."

Swinging her arm around her wife Emily led them back to their room. Once they were inside Elsa collapsed onto one of the couches facing the window. The sun was long gone and the room was only lit by the moon and a singular candle on the night table. Emily sat next to her, not touching, just looking…looking at this beautiful girl who was truly all hers.

"I really am sorry, you know?" Emily prodded as Elsa stared out the window. "I had to go, and I couldn't take you. I couldn't put you in that danger."

"Then what makes you think you could put yourself in danger? We are a team Emily. You can't just run around doing whatever you want anymore. I need you, I need you alive." Elsa said as she touched her wife's cheek. "Like you said, you're mine and I'm yours."

"Always." Emily kissed her again, kissed her like she never left and like she never would again. Getting carried away Emily pushed her wife back onto the couch so that she hovered above her, their lips never leaving each other's. Running her hands down the girl's side, Emily moved on to her neck.

"Mine." She mumbled against cool skin in between kisses and moans.

Elsa woke in the middle of the night to see herself tangled up with her wife on their couch. Rolling her eyes at their position she slowly sat up to glance over at the fire, the cool breeze that blew through the castle walls never bothered her but her wife was more sensitive to cold. Noticing the fire was out the blonde started to climb to her feet, untangling her limbs from Emily's. Her wife stirred at the movement, waking up mumbling.

"Where you going?" The dark haired girl said, although she was barely audible as she spoke into the pillows.

"The fires gone out." Elsa explained s she continued to try and get up.

"I got it!" Emily whispered and waved her hand in the direction she thought the fire place was. Flames leapt from her finger tips, catching onto the curtains. A shriek from Elsa caused Emily to fly to her feet as the snow queen quickly extinguished the flames by freezing them, leaving only a scorch mark on the fabric. Emily's eyes widened at the sight. "Oh god Elsa…I'm so sorry."

"Emily its fine, it's just curtains…" Elsa giggled at her wife's behaviour. "It's not like it's the first time one of us has slipped up with our powers."

"I lit the curtains on fire…"

"I know, but I put it out. What's the matter, Em?"

"I lit the curtains on fire…that's how Max died."

"Your brother?" Elsa asked hesitantly, remembering the story Emily had told her before they were married.

"I lit the curtains on fire…" Emily whispered as if trying to convince herself it was real. The blonde slowly walked towards the girl, placing her hands on her wife's arms soothingly. Her skin was burning; if it weren't for Elsa's cold body temperature she probably wouldn't have been able to withstand the heat. The only other time her wife's temperature got to this level was in bed.

"Stop it, stop it please." Elsa begged as she fell to her knees, wrapping her arms around the girls burning waist. Cheek pressed against Emily's stomach, Elsa snaked her hand under the girl's shirt to rest a hand on the snowflake tattoo that was there. "Please, my love."

The sun was starting to peak through the burnt curtains now as the two girls stayed still, breathing heavily; one from panic, the other from fear.

"I could have killed you, Elsa…" Emily squeaked out.

"We could accidentally kill each other every time we kiss…that's what keep our relationship exciting, remember?"

"Now's not the time for jokes." The dark haired girl backed away, leaving the snow queen on her knees a few feet away. "I am gonna go wake the kids; I think I will start teaching them to control their powers today."

"We can't just blow past this Emily, one second you are having a panic attack and the next you are running off to start teaching classes?"

"I just need some time… a lot has happened, I just…see you later." Emily left the door open behind her as she quickly escaped the room. Elsa glanced from the burnt curtains to the open door in disbelief.
