***Chapter 21***

Once Kagome was done eating she and took her dishes into the kitchen she walked toward her room to get ready to spar with Shigure. Once she was in her room she walked over to her bed and looked at down at the nightstand at her bracelet, giving a sigh she picked it up and pulled her sword off of it and gave it a twirl getting the feel back for it. She could still remember the day Sesshomaru gave it to her after retrieving it from Totosai, she hadn't known till later that besides her blood Sesshomaru had given a fang and blood to help create her sword.

Sesshomaru had told her that Totosai had said he had never made a sword like this before and had named her Aoi Inazuma, blue lightning because once he was done making the sword it had glowed blue and power rolling off of her like lightning.

After sheathing her sword she placed it on her side and before pulling her hair into a bun to keep it all out of the way and safe from getting cut. Turning she walked out of her room and headed back toward the training grounds to see everyone was already there she gave a nod to her uncle when he looked at her and she walked out into the yard to stand not far from Shigure was standing waiting on her.

Kagome stared at Shigure as she stood not far from her she knew better than to make the first move with this woman and knew just because some would think that Shigure would be at a disadvantage with a long sword like she had, Kagome knew better. This woman could wield that sword like it was a short so she waited to see what Shigure would do.

Shigure couldn't help but enjoy waiting as Kagome before her as she looked at the younger girl she knew she would enjoy this. The girl held and carried herself like a true master with our without a weapon and she also knew the girl was skilled not just from when she first showed up but at the fact that her sword made not a noise as she walked. Not many people knew it but when carry a weapon if you wasn't truly use to the weapon it would mess with someone's walk plus in a swords case make noise against the person carrying it, just for the fact she never once heard a noise showed Shigure that Kagome was used to having a sword at her side.

Shigure also couldn't help but notice how still Kagome was as she stood there not one muscle moved her eyes and hands didn't twitch, even when she raised her hand to grip her sword. She knew that Kagome wasn't going to make the first move so she lunged forward and her eyes widened when she saw that Kagome wasn't even moving, right as she was about to hit her Shigure's eyes widened when a sword appeared faster than she could blink. She was suddenly pushed back and to keep from tripping she jumped back and looked at Kagome and noticed the girl had pushed her back with one hand and was again standing in a relaxed stance with her sword pointing down.

Akisame eyes widened when he saw his niece literally draw her sword faster than he thought was possibly he had never even seen Shigure draw that quickly. Glancing over he noticed that everyone was as shocked as he was none of them had seen anyone with that kind of speed not even their own weapons master.

Kagome gave a sigh as she pushed Shigure back and admitted the woman was talented with a blade but after fighting demons and having to hold out against their strength. She knew that Shigure could hold her own from the first day she was here but Kagome wanted to see how good Shigure was and to test her and lunged forward with her sword still pointed down.

Shigure wasn't expecting Kagome to react that quickly and moved to block with her sword just as Kagome swung her sword. Her eyes widened at what happened next she saw Kagome moving her hand quickly down the blade and adding pressure before feeling pressure on her knee, she was looking at the sky and feeling a flicking and soon her sword was out of her hands and she was laying on the ground she was brought out of thought when she felt the point of a sword at her neck. Looking over she saw Kagome standing over her pointing her sword at her thought, looking closer Shigure saw that Kagome had her sword in her other hand and holding it behind her with the blade pointing up.

Kagome couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that how easy she took Shigure down and wondered if maybe all her time in the past had made fighting normal humans to easy. She would still enjoy sparring with Shigure but she now knew that she couldn't go all out on the woman she wouldn't be able to keep up. Sheathing her sword she leaned down and offered her hand to Shigure and smiled at her she wouldn't admit it to anyone but she had a feeling that this would happen when it came to fighting with her weapons. She fought more with her weapons while in the past than she did hand to hand so she could understand why even a weapons master like Shigure wouldn't be able to handle her full out.

Still smiling at Shigure she handed her sword to back to her, and turned to walk away but was stopped by hearing her uncle.

"Kagome dear I have to know where did you learn to fight like that not only are you a master level in hand to hand but you easily beat a weapons master like it was nothing that isn't something anyone your age should know." Akisame said while standing with the others looking at her in disbelief and shock because none of them had expected to see what they had seen they knew she was a skilled fighter but what she had just done was beyond any of them.

Kagome turned and smiled at her uncle and everyone else, "Uncle Aki there are some things as I have said that I am not ready to talk about and this is one thing I will tell you I am proud I have learned these skills and wish I had learned them sooner then something would never have happened but again Uncle until I am ready please don't ask me about it." She said while giving him a serious look something that Akisame hadn't ever seen on her face.

Akisame gave a sigh he really wanted to know what was going on but remembered what they had spoke about and new she would tell him when she was ready but it wouldn't stop him from wonder how she had gotten these skills.

"Fine Kagome I understand but I would like you to spar with me as well." He said as he gave her a smile which he was glad to see her return while standing still.

"Uncle, do you want to spar now or on another day?" she asked while hoping he would pick another day she wanted nothing more than to take a bath and lay down and text Shougo and seeing when and if he wanted to spend more time together.

She was pulled out of her thoughts when he moved closer to her and laid a hand on her shoulder.

"We have all the time Kagome so whenever you would like to spar is when we shall spar is that alright?" he said while smiling at her and closing his eyes and wrapping his arms around her when she leaned in and hugged him.

"Thank you uncle Aki right now I would like to just take a bath and lay down but we are going to have to spar soon because I want to know how tough my uncle is and if an old man like you can keep up with me." She said while laughing when he gave a huff at being called old.

"I am not old Kagome." He said while trying not to smile at her.

Leaning back and knowing everyone was listening to her, "Well uncle you are not no spring chicken either." She said and laughing and dancing out of his reach when he moved as if to tickle her and laughing even as she walked away from them and listening to the others laugh as well.

Miu couldn't help but laugh as she walked after Kagome wanting to hang out with the girl and hear what all happened while she was on her date.

Akisame looked back at the other's as the girls walked out of sight looking over at Shigure we walked toward her and decided to ask her something that made everyone focus on them.

"Shigure what was it like fighting my niece?" he asked since he could tell that with a weapon in her hand that Kagome could very well take out masters with her skill if she wanted to.

Shigure looked at Akisame and tried to explain what fighting his niece it was like, "She has power and skill that goes beyond even what I have learned and know the way she fights it like nothing I have seen before." She said as she moved away from him and wrapping her arms around herself before turning and looking back at him.

"Akisame I will tell you this your niece has most likely had to walk through hell to get where she is with strength she has a talent that even when used few would be able to stop. When she was fighting it wasn't like she was fighting me but someone else I don't know who but I will tell you this most masters could never get to her level." Shigure said while trying to make the man understand that his niece was more dangerous than any of them had thought, it wasn't that Shigure was saying the girl was going to go off and hurt people just that he should understand the girl was more powerful than many even at their level.

Kenichi couldn't believe what he had seen he knew that Kagome could fight since she fought against Sakaki like he was nothing and he remembered when she first fought against Shigure but even he didn't think she would be like she was. He couldn't help but wonder since he heard Shigure say that Kagome had a talent for fighting that made her a better fighter and how did she learn to fight like that and what did she have to go through to get like that.

Hayato thought back to what he had seen of Kagome's fight against Shigure and he had to admit he had never seen anyone fight like she did. Every movement of her body did something from the tensing muscles to where she was standing perfectly still, when she slid her hand down the back of her blade she easily kicked at Shigure's knee making her fall. But what had really caught his attention was the way she twisted her sword to make Shigure lose her grip instead of the sword falling to the ground it was thrown into the air where Kagome easily caught it which said something in itself for the girl to handle a weapon not her own like it was an extension of her own body said many things about her skill and he couldn't help but wonder just what and who taught her.

Kagome couldn't help but smile as she made her way to her room with a bounce in her step and thinking about taking a bath and text Shougo. Looking over her shoulder she saw Miu and gave her smile before opening the door to her room and walking in with Miu following her, reaching up she released her hair and let it follow down.

Miu couldn't help but feel a little bit envies when she saw Kagome's hair falling like silk down her back to touch her thighs giving a shake of her head Miu walked over and sat on Kagome's bed before grinning at her.

"So are you going to tell me what happened today?" Miu asked while still grinning at the older girl.

Kagome gave her smile while closing her eyes, "It was prefect in every way and even though I haven't known him long I didn't want to leave." She told her while opening her eyes and giving Miu a shy look while blushing.

Miu couldn't help but be happy that Kagome had a great time it seemed and really hoped that the guy could keep making Kagome happy because Kagome deserved to be happy.
