Chapter 19: And end to discrimination?

I wake up and get up and out of bed. I move to our kitchen and see Pariah already there. "Hey." I say.

"Mornin." He says as he hands me some coffee. "So you think your plan will work?"

"First step. Kidnap. Second step, get them to understand they're the same. Felli seems to be thinking it over. Now I just need someone to talk to Ellie."

"Why don't you talk to her?"

"Because I already trust faunus from the start. What I need is someone who hated them at first but has come to understand them a bit more."

"Where will we find someone like that?" Just then Weiss walks in and grabs a cup of coffee for herself.

"Hey Weiss?" I say and she looks at us. "What do you think of Faunus?"

"Well... I didn't trust them at first but I learned to tolerate them." she says.

I look at Pariah. "There we go."

"Why did you ask that?"

"I need a favor."

"Oh boy."

"Ellie, the girl we kidnapped. I need you to talk to her. Get her to understand that the faunus aren't really that different. Or at least get her to your stage of acceptance."

"Fine. I'll try." she says reluctantly.

"Thank you." I feel hands wrap around me and I smile. "Morning Yang."

"Morning." She says as she lays her head on my back. I hand her my coffee and she takes a long swig. Blake and Ruby soon stumble out and into the kitchen and I hand them both a cup of coffee.

"Morning." they both mumble as they sit down. Soon Felli and Ellie enter the room. I look at Weiss and whistle. She looks at me and I motion for her to do her thing. She sighs and goes over to Ellie. "What's that about?" asks Blake.

"Well since Felli has someone to go to for advice on how to trust humans, Why not try and have the same for Ellie."

"I see."

"Anyways I feel like killing something. Wanna join?"

"Nah. I think I'll stay here and read some."

"You sure? It's great stress relief."

"I'm sure Jordan. Now go." I shrug and walk over to the door. I activate my wings and fly up and over the forest. I scan below but soon see a flash of light from a tree.

"What the-" I feel pain in my left wing and tumble to the ground. I send out a viral pulse to call for help and get ready for a fight. I hit the ground and activate my claws. I see 4 figures appear in front of me from the smoke. "You know. It isn't very polite to shoot someone when they aren't looking."

"Sorry." came a familiar voice. As the dust clears I see the four people I expected Ozpin to send. Team JNPR. "We really need you're help Jordan." says Pyrrha.

"Sorry Pyrrha, but I only trust the people who stood up for me. AKA the people who left with me."

"What were we suppose to do Jordan. Those were trained Huntsman. It's not like we could win a fight against them?" says Jaune.

"Fight." He looks at me with disbelief. "If you fought I would know you were with me and would have helped. But you let them attack all of us. You let us down. Besides what could be so bad that you need my help?"

"The grimm have grown stronger since you've left." says Pyrrha.

"They're just evolving."

"No. You don't understand. This is what we found out here." she takes out her scroll and shows me a picture of a squid faced creature with wings.

"Okay so there's a Cthulhu in the woods? Why does this concern me?"

"This so called Cthulhu killed 4 trained hunters without breaking a sweat. We need your help Jordan. Not just us but all of Beacon." Says Jaune.

"Yeah one problem with your plan. I hate almost everyone at beacon since they decided to turn on me." Just then Yang and Pariah land next to me.

"What's going on here?" asks Pariah.

"Oh yeah. False alarm guys turns out it was just JNPR. Apparently there's a new Grimm and they want us to help them."

"Ah what's it look like?"

"Cthulhu."

"Seriously." says both Yang and Pariah. I show them the picture and they shrugg. "So it is."

"Anyways I have something else I'm trying to do right now. Cheek back in three months."

"What could be more important than killing this grimm?" asks Pyrrha.

"Trying to stop the racism of the world."

"Wait... That was You?! You kidnapped the daughters of the two most racists groups out there?!"

"I cannot confirm nor deny this." I say sticking out my tongue. "Now if you'll excuse me." Me, Yang, and Pariah take off back towards our hideout.

When we get back I see Weiss talking with Ellie. Perfect. Now she'll have something to think about. Ruby walks up to me with a worried expression. "why did you call for help earlier?"

"False alarm Rubes. I was shot out of the sky by JNPR." She looks more worried at that. "Relax. They're still alive and well." She relaxes at that. "They may still be helping Ozpin but they do understand where I'm coming from." I look up to everyone else doing there own thing. "Who wants lunch?"

The next two months were quaint and hectic. After the first two weeks Ellie and Felli talked to each other without fighting. They started to open up to each other more and more. That's the quaint part. The hectic part was the fact that after two months they were together. Trust me when I tell you It's not fun when you can't tone things out. But this just showed that people could be changed. We were all sitting at the table and eating when I notice something. "It's quiet."

"Well what did you expect we are eating and not talking." says Weiss.

"No I mean listen." We listen a bit and soon Sam and Pariah understand what's going on. "No birds or animals. The grimm always stays away but animals stick close to us." I get up and run to the door. I send out a pulse and see multiple people of both faunus and human alike. "They actually did it. They put aside their differences."

"I'm impressed." says Blake. "Usually the white fang wouldn't work anywhere near the humans."

"Wait you mean they actually came?" asks Felli.

"Yup." I say.

"Release both Ellie and Felli and we'll let you live." Comes a voice from outside.

"Yang change form. As for you others just stay out of this." I change into my disguise and see Yang change into hers. She had red hair like Pyrrahs and her eyes changed into a amber color like Blake's. Her outfit stayed the same but changed color to match. I open the doors and walk out clapping. "Bravo. Bravo." They all look at me with weapons raised. "I'm actually quite surprised you worked together. You two hate each other with a passion, but when faced with your daughters lives at stake you banded together to help get them back. So I have another question. What's the difference between you two? Why not be equals?" Most people I saw actually thinking about it. "Now then as for your daughters. Frankly I actually didn't plan on killing them. In fact I tied them up for show. I cut them out of the chairs afterward. I also talked to Felli due to the fact I know what it's like to be an outcast and I had a friend talk to Ellie. One thing led to another they started talking and..." At that point Ellie and Felli come out hand in hand. "They fell in love."

Outrage erupted from both sides and I sigh. "Enough!" shouts the leader for the humans. "How could you do this Ellie? After what happened to your mother."

"Not all faunus are like that dad. Felli hasn't done anything like that to anyone."

"How do you know that?! Maybe she was lying to you this whole time!"

"Shut up human!" Shouts the white fang leader. "You know nothing about my daughter." They continue to argue and me and yang look at each other.

"Uhhh. Guys?" They continue to argue. "Guys?" Still argue. "You know what? Let's just reveal ourselves Yang." She nods and we both change back to normal but everyone's still arguing. "Really? I feel so ignored over here."

Yang comes over and lays her head on my arm. "I'm surprised. I thought they would have noticed us change."

"Welp only one thing to do now."

"What's that?" asks Felli as her and Ellie walk over.

"Get their attention."

"How are you gonna do that?" Asks Ellie. I change my arm into whipfist form and she nods. "Right. Forgot about that."

I whip between both sides and the arguing ceases. They all look at me with faces full of shock. "Great. Now that I have your ATTENTION! You guys are seriously dense. There is no difference between you two. You both love your daughters and want to protect them. To give them a future. But your making there futures worst by FIGHTING ALL THE TIME! I mean come on. Look what you did together. You found us. In the middle of Grimm infested woods. Hell your daughters tried to run day one and ran into grimm. I didn't even give hints. If you guys didn't fight all the damn time there wouldn't be a problem and there wouldn't be discrimination. So I'm giving you a choice now before I lose my temper. Are you gonna at least try and make amends or will I have to kill everyone here!"

"You may have those powers of yours but you can't take us down by yourself. Your just one kid." says the white fang leader.

"Okay you know what? Fuck this." I slash sideways and cut all of them in half instantly. Felli and Ellie look at me shocked. I sigh. "I hate them. I truly do. And I will not miss them at all."

"You. You just killed them." says Ellie.

"Yup. I'm done with their arrogant attitude. The real threat to the world is me but they have been too focused on each other that they didn't notice. So yeah I killed them."

"You know... I'm not even mad."

"What?"

"Yeah me either." Says Felli. "You have a good point we were getting no where with them so now maybe we can change the views of others."

"And I know they were our fathers but they never really acted like it." Finishes Ellie.

"Huh." I say. "Welp at least you're free to live your lives how you want."

"Thank you. You've opened our eyes to the truth and helped us find each other."

"Need an escort back to town?"

"That would be nice." they both say. Me and Yang walk them all the way back to the edge of town. We said our goodbyes and me and Yang started walking back.

Halfway back I know we're being watched. I stop and sigh. "You guys can't hide from me." JNPR comes out and I smile. "At least it's just you guys. So how goes the hunt for Cthulhu?"

"That's what we're here about." says Jaune. "We found it but no one can take it down. We're all going in for an all out attack but we still need more people."

"Sure We'll help out."

"If you don't want to- wait... What?"

"I said we'll help. We just finished up our plan for discrimination so we'll help out. On one condition though."

"Just name it." says Jaune getting his hopes up.

"If anyone tries to attack me I kill them no questions asked."

"Babe." says Yang as Jaune goes pale.

"What I really hate the whole shoot first ask questions later thing. That and if you do remember I told your father and he turned on me."

"How about we just have it so your not a threat anymore?" comes Ozpin's voice from behind me.

"Oh? You mean a new leaf?" I say turning to him. "That'll work but If anyone dares to try and kill me."

"They won't I assure you."

"Good." I send out a pulse to call everyone over and smile. "Time to hunt a Cthulhu."
