Chapter XXI.
Last Time.
Later Nami was drawing a trail on the Skypeia map."There the exploration team will take this route, and we'll take the river around and meet up." She said as everyone looked down with Luffy, Zoro, Chopper, Robin, and Naruto now wearing a black shirt under his coat making the exploration team."Kitchi you stay on Merry and help protect everyone." Naruto said rubbing Kitchi's head.
Kitchi yipped and wagged his tail. Naruto stood up and kissed Nojiko."Be careful." Nojiko smiled at him."You too." He left with the other's as Mai came up to the railing."I'm jealous of you sometimes." Nojiko looked over to her."Why?" She asked as Mai smirked. "You have the cutest guy on the ship as your boyfriend, who treats you like a Queen." Nami walked over and smiled."Yeah I get jealous sometime's too." Nojiko smiled and picked up Kitchi.
The women all walked inside to continue talking about Naruto."So do we still have that whistle?" Mai asked going over to the counter in the kitchen to make a snack. Nami nodded."Yes if we run in to any of those priest we'll use it." They continued sailing for a while not noticing someone was watching them.
Now.
Naruto, Robin, Chopper, Zoro, and Luffy.
"Zoro you're going the wrong way!" Luffy yelled at Zoro who was walking towards a tree."We need to head west." Luffy stared walking in the opposite direction. Naruto sighed in frustration as the two argued on where to go."I swear Nami-chan put them with us so she didn't have to deal with them." Robin giggled and bent down to Chopper. "Could you tell them we need to go south." Chopper nodded and jogged over to them.
"You know, the forest is quiet I thought it would be scary." Chopper said bringing up the rear of the team."Yeah I know I thought there would be more animals." Zoro said with a sigh as he, and Luffy walked in front of him. Naruto walking beside Robin looked back to them."Maybe all of the fighting has them spook, not all of them are huge." They continued walking for a few minutes, and Naruto saw something out of the corner of his eye, he looked to the right and saw nothing.
"Something wrong Uzumaki-kun?" Robin asked seeing Naruto stop, Naruto turned to her and shook his head."No nothing I guess I'm just seeing things." As they walked something moved behind them and looked back."Is that tree root moving?" Zoro asked seeing something move just behind them. They heard hissing in front of them, turned around and saw a huge blue stripped snake with catfish whisker's.
"Well crap." Naruto cursed as the snake attacked them Zoro, Luffy, and Naruto who grabbed Robin jumped up on to a tree branch's just as the snake bit in to another tree trunk. "What the hell?" Zoro asked seeing purple smoke coming out of the snake's mouth. "Chopper get out of there!" Naruto yelled down to Chopper prompting him to run as the tree fell down from the poison destroying it.
Soon after dodging attack's from the snake everyone got seperated."Well I'm sure we've just lost Luffy, and Zoro." Naruto said hands behind his head looking around. Robin arms crossed under her bust giggled."They're not that bad Uzumaki-kun." Naruto put his hand's down and turned to her."I keep telling you, call me Naruto." Robin smiled and they continue on their way.
Going Merry.
THe S.H.C. was at the front of the ship with Gan Fall who saw them while flying."Now swing hard." He said to Sanji who was holding a big mallet standing in front of a barrel with dial on top."But woulden't that damage the Merry if he misses?" Emiko commented wearing old clothe's covered in paint. Sanji swung the mallet as hard as he could and... Nothing happened."Well that sucked." Nojiko said looking at the barrel.
Gan Fall spoke up."Flip the dial over and press the under-side." Sanji moved the dial to the side."Like this?" Sanji asked pressing the under-side. The barrel suddenly exploded sending Sanji to the railing hitting his head. Gan fall went on to explain the different dial's and the one's used for combat."That's how that butter-ball hit us." Usopp said remembering their fight against Satori."And that's how Shura set thing's on fire." Mai said walking from inside holding her umbrella. Gan Fall continue explaining about sky warfare.
Naruto, and Robin.
"Wow I'm surprise that these buildings are still standing." Naruto said looking at the small buildings with tree root's growing over them. Robin looking at another spoke up. "These houses were probably built so far out for crop longevity." Just then someone jumped on the building in front of Robin. He's wearing white robes that stop just under his knees with shoes, gloves, and a necklaces. The most noticeable feature are his small goat horns on his head.
"What are you two doing here?" He asked them before continuing."You on the path to kami's shrine turn ba.." Robin interrupted him."Could you please get off the building?" She asked pointing to the corner that broke off from the man's landing."This arcologicle find is priceless." The man stood up and got in to a stance."Seis Fleur.(Six Flower.)" Six arm's sprouted grabbing the man."Tsuisuto.(Twist.)" The man twisted untill they heard a crack.
Robin bent down to pick up the piece of rubble that broke off."Such a lack of respect." Naruto walked over to her."Yeah, remind me not to piss you off." He said as Robin smiled up at him.
Zoro.
"If You're not a priest then go fight those goat guy's." Zoro said to the person that attacked him. The man is muscular with the upper-half of his face hidden by his hat. He's wearing a grass skirt, with a decorated, long light-red sash around his waist and a light-blue veil appearing from under the skirt and reaching down to his feet. He's also wearing a fur-lined, dark-green jacket, and has dark gloves on his hands holding two pistol's.
Zoro pulled his swords out just as the Man shot his pistol's first with a flash shot. Zoro dodged and put Wado in his mouth. Zoro ran at him."Tora Gari.(Tiger Hunt.)" Zoro brought his sword's down but the man dodged and landed on one of the cloud road's. Zoro followed him by running up a tree, and jumping at him. The man threw a small dial having a cloud come out of hit for him to glide on with his shoe's.
The man shot at Zoro as he got near."You know sky warfare isn't just randomly flying around." The man said as a giant leach jumped up out of the clouds."Crap that's big." Zoro cursed before slicing the leach.."Well... This would be a good bar-b-que." Zoro said before dodging nother shot from the man by jumping in the tree's.
"This isn't good." Zoro thought panting as a little blood came down his leg."How do I get passed that flash?" He looked down and smirked. He walked out with his goggle's on. "Now your flash's won't work on me." He said to the man."I have my lucky goggle's." The man deadpanned."Those are just regular goggle's." Zoro stiffened."Crap he found out." Zoro thought before looking back to the man."I Guess now's a good time to try that technique." The man attacked Zoro having him run to the ground.
"Think you can run away?" The man asked as the smoke cleared."Sight, sound, smell, taste, touch, and thought." Zoro said holding Wado staring up at the man."These six root's ground us as good, evil, or nutrel." The man raised an eyebrow."What are you talking about?" He asked as Zoro continued."And they can be pure and un-pure, these are the thirty-six desire's." Zoro hold's Wado horizontally above the shoulder of his arm holding his elbow with the other.
"I have the barrel of a cannon pointed right at you." The man snorted and threw a dial down creating a cloud."You don't have a cannon, all I see are three sword's." He said gliding down."Ittoryu." Just as the man got near Zoro swung Wado."Sanjūroku Pondo Hō.(36 Caliber Phoenix.)" Wave's of compressed air hit's the man sending him flying away with a gash on his chest.
Going Merry.
"I'm not feeling a heart beat." Usopp said holding a singed Sanji wrist as everyone looked to the figurehead. There sat a tall, muscular man who has white/blond hair. His hair is covered by a simple white bandana. He has strange, long ear lobes that stretch all the way to his chest with diamond-shaped gold earings.
He's wearing loose, orange pants with a black pattern on them and no shoes', and around his waist there is a blue, flowing sash, holding up a light-blue veil. With gold bracelets on both his arms and legs, and two little gold rings around his bigger toes. His nose has many lines running horizontally across it. He also holds four large Tomoe drums attached via a large ring to his back instead of wing's.
"Usopp... You're checking the right side, the left's where the heart is." Nami said sweat-dropping. Usopp felt the left side and felt his heart beat."What are you doing here Enel?" Gan Fall asked staring at the now identified Enel."Come now Gan Fall, no need to be angry." Enel said as Usopp stood up shaking, Enel disappeared, and reappeared in front of Usopp and electrocuted him."Don't say anything, or end up like your friend's." Enel said dangerously as the women nodded.
"Why are you here Enel?" Gan Fall asked with Enel smirking. He went on to explain that he was saying goodbye, about the city of gold, and the battle's."Are you going to release the divine warrior's?" Gan Fall asked as Enel jumped up on the railing. He looked back and smirked."Only kami know's, and he's not telling." Enel disappeared in a bolt of lightning. "Are they all right?" Nojiko asked running up to the other's."They're still breathing." Mai said checking Usopp, and Sanji.
"Damn, it look's like he's has a logia fruit, I wish I could have gotten Naruto-kun's kusarigama out from inside." Nojiko said as Nami looked back."He still has haki, he could just dodge." Nami said standing up."No he doesn't know about those seastones, and when we fought six years ago he never dodged." Gan Fall explained."Yeah all logia user's usually never dodge, unless they know a weapon is made of seastone's, or their opponent is using haki." Emiko said holding Kitchi as the other's helped Usopp, and Sanji.
Suddenly two guy's dressed like Satori jumped on to the railing and introduced them selve's as Hatori, and Katori, the brother's of Satori."You killed our Brother." They said in unisone."What are you talking about?" Nami asked staring at them."We didn't kill your brother." Nojiko pulled her staff out, as did Nami, and Gan Fall pulled his spear."That must've been the one Sanji, Usopp, and Luffy beat."
Luffy.
"Gomu Gomu no...Fusan.(Gum Gum Baloon.)" Luffy blocked a ball causing it to hit the man he had met earlier."Give up Bullet's and bazoka ball's won't hurt me." Luffy said as the man put a dial in the bazooka." He shot it and insted of a bullet coming out, a stream of blue smoke did hitting Luffy."What's that smell?" Luffy asked holding his nose as the man went on to explain using the dial. A beam of fire shot ou causing Luffy to dodge. Luffy tried hitting him with punch's, and kick's Soon after a few minute's Luffy stretched his arm back.
"You like bazookas?" He asked running to him."Gomu Gomu no..Bazooka.(Gum Gum Bazooka.)" The man shot the bazooka just as Luffy's attack him sending both of them away. Luffy got up and started walking towards the man. He heard a noise, turned around and was swallowed by the snake from earlier.
Inside the snake.
"Ow where am I?" Luffy asked holding his head. He looked around and saw building's, and some gold piece's scattered around."How am I going to get out of here?" He asked rubbing his head.
Chopper vs. Gedatsu.
"Janpingu Pointo.(Jumping Point.)" Chopper jumped over Gedatsu as he tried to punch him."So you're a zoan type." Chopper looked back to see Gedatsu trying to punch him. "Hebī Pointo.(Heavy Point.)" Changing in to his human form, Chopper fell to the ground. Cloud's came out of Gedatsu's wrist forming a cloud."Numagumo Bāgā,(Swamp Cloud Burger.)"
He threw the cloud down at Chopper."Gādo Pointo,(Gaurd Point.)" Chopper blocked the cloud before changing in to his hybrid form."Burēn Pointo.(Brain Boost.)" He put his hooves' together."Skōpu.(Scope.)" As he was looking for a weakness Gedatsu punched him having him hit some of the buildings."Even with my guard point it still hurt's." Chopper thought as he fell on the cloud's. Looking over at Gedatsu he smirked."So that's his weakness." He thought before sowly moving over there.
Changing in to his human form he grabbed his ankle. Gedatsu kicked him away. Chopper changed in to his reindeer form and jumped in to the air. Gedatsu followed but soon went out of control. Looking down he saw he was missing a shoe."He took it." He said before regaining control and flying at Chopper hitting him but only grazing him.
"Āmu Pointo.(Arm Point.)" Chopper arm's grew muscular and he pulled them back. "Kokutei Kurosu.(Cloven Cross.)" He hit's Gedatsu leaving an 'X' mark on his chest. Gedatsu fell in to the clouds and sunk down. Chopper pulled out a canteen, drank from it and continued on looking around the ruin's.
Going Merry.
"Don't worry the pain will pass." Gan Fall said as Nami held her left arm wearing one of his glove's. A moment later Gan Fall was getting ready to leave."What, you're just going to leave defensive women here alone?" Nami asked him arm's spread out wide. Gan Fall turned to her and nodded."Yes I need to see what Enel's doing here." He said before getting on Pierre.
"You can keep my glove with the impact dial on it." He flew away as Nami yelled at him. "GET BACK HERE YOU... YOU... BIG BRUTE!" She yelled as the other's carried Sanji, and Usopp inside."YOU'RE SERIOUSLY GOING TO LEAVE US?!" She yelled waving her arms.
"..."
"..."
"I'M GOING TO CRY!" She yelled at his disappearing form. After a few moment's of waiting, she fell down on the deck a storm cloud forming over her, she suddenly heard a fanfare. She looked in front and saw Conis, her father, and a small brown-haired girl riding a boat.
"Esso." Conis said waving at them as they stopped beside the S.H.C. THey boarded with Pagaya brought over a waver."I was able to fix the one you brought." He said as Nami smiled wide."But be careful it's stronger than a normal waver." He finished before clapping his hands."Here take the new way we've made, it'll take you to the white sea." He finished as Conis went with the other's inside.
Later everyone but Usopp, and Sanji was sitting on the deck, as Kitchi, and Suu played. "They'll be fine, those four are our strongest." Nami said as the little girl Aisa spoke up. "There's not any four man group's, there's only two at the most." Nojiko raised an eyebrow."So you have haki?" Conis looked at her confused."Haki? Nojiko looked to her and nodded."Yeah that's what mantra's called on the blue sea."
Robin, and Naruto.
Robin and Naruto dodged a punch from an over-weight man wearing white robe's with a black belt, having him hit one of the building's."Could you watch where you're hitting? These building's are at least four hundred years old!" Robin yelled as the man scoffed. "So what?" He asked before attaking Robin pushing her against one of the wall's with writing on it. The man pulled his fist back as Robin braced her self.
After a moment of not getting hit, she opened her eye's and saw Naruto blocking the punch."You all right Robin-chan?" He asked as she nodded. Naruto pushed the man back before kicking him down to the ground."Tenshukyaku.(Hevenly Defending Foot.)" Naruto kick's him leaving a huge crater knocking the man out.
"You allright Robin-chan?" Robin nodded as they continued on their way, eventually making it to the ruin's."The size for this city's kinda small." Robin said looking around holding a notebook. Naruto looked around as they made their way to a temple."Well made these clouds are over the rest." Robin suddenly ran up to the top."Hey wait up!" Naruto ran after and saw her on her knee's using a knife to cut up the cloud.
Naruto took off his bag and looked in it, and pulled out a machette."Here you go Robin-chan this would be better." She took it and started cutting down until they made it inside the temple. They walked down the stair's and came out of a doorway. Leading to the city. "Wow." Naruto said looking around."I don't see any gold." He deadpanned at the lack of gold, sitting down with Robin."I knew it, even if these people don't know what gold is they could still use it for something else."
They continued looking around and came across what looked like a poneglyph in the wall."So my deduction's where right." Robin thought looking at the wall. She suddenly turned and walked toward's the center of the city."The bell just may have the poneglyph with the history." She finished as Naruto caught up to her.
"Everything all right Robin-chan?" She looked to him and nodded."Yeah The bell should be in the center of the city." They made their way to the city, only to see nothing there. "Where is it?" Robin asked looking around."Maybe it was moved by the people or something else." Naruto said calming her down."It could even be on another cloud." He finished smiling.
Chopper.
Chopper was climbing one of the vine's that was growing in to the sky."Almost there." He said nearing the top."I can't wait to see the look on the other's face when I find the gold first." He popped through the cloud's and saw some more ruin's. He walked on the ground and walked around."Gold, Gold, Gold." He chanted, suddenly he heard growling and stoped."Down Holy." He heard a man say.
He turned and saw a bald man sitting on a building, and a big dog laying down beside him."You're the third person to make it this far." The man said."Are you the person who defeated Gedatsu?" He asked as Chopper stared at him."Why are you here?" Chopper looking up answered."I'm here looking for the gold city." The man scoffed."Greed will only lead to death." He looked at Chopper."I guess I'll save you." Chopper sighed in relief.
The man stood up and pulled his sword out."Only by taking your life can I save you." He finished as Chopper screamed and started running away.
Later.
Gan Fall, Ohm, Zoro who fell down, and Wyper all stood in front of each other as the giant snake looked on."Where's the gold?" Zoro asked as Ohm looked at him, they all got ready to fight each other. After attacking, and dodging the snake Zoro looked over and saw an unconscious Chopper with three gash's on his chest."Chopper!" Zoro exclaimed running over to him.
He stepped on a stone and fell to the ground his arm bleeding."What the hell?" He asked looking up and saw barbed wire."So that's his ordeal." Wyper commented looking at the barbed wire. Zoro ran to Chopper as Ohm looked on and explained his ordeal. "There's a zero percent chance of defeating it." He finished as Zoro glared at him. When Zoro pulled out another sword Ohm's sword stretched over to him hitting him in his chest."What was that." Zoro asked holding his sword.
Ohm went on to explain his sword is iron cloud from a dial in his handle."GET AWAY FROM US!" Everyone turned and saw Nami back in her bikini, and Aisa on a waver being chased by a bunch of men in white robe's When they made it over to them Zoro, Gan Fall, and Wyper attacked the men."Nami what are you doing here?" Zoro asked as Nami explained that they were chased.
Wyper tried to hit Nami with his bazooka but Gan Fall grabbed them taking them in the air."Why did you come here?" He asked as Nami looked up."We was being chased by a..." The snake came up with its mouth opened."Snake." The snake ate them as the other's looked on.
Inside the snake.
"Ow." Nami said getting up. She looked over and saw Pierre holding Aisa."Good it look's like she isn't hurt." Gan Fall walked over."Why aren't you on the ship?" He asked as Nami explained being chased. They heard footprint's and got ready to fight."Luffy?" Nami asked as the person stepped out from the shadow's."Hey Nami are you lost in this weird cave too?" Nami pulled him by his nose."Idiot we've been eaten by a snake."
When she let Luffy's nose go it was long."Hey I'm Usopp." Aisa looked on with a sweat-dropped."Is he a jester?" She asked Nami who sighed."That's a better job for him but no, he's our Captain." Gan Fall grabbed his chest."What, I thought that blond with the bandanna was your Captain." Nami shook her head."He's our Helmsman, and unofficial co-Captain." She looked back to Luffy.
"What have you been doing in here?" Luffy grinned and replied."Trying to dig out of here." Nami hit him on the head."I just told you, we were eaten by a snake!" Luffy looked at her confused for a moment, then screamed. "I thought you were kidding!" Nami face-palmed."No his acid is what's been eating at your clothe's." Luffy looked own and saw his clothe's are a bit tathered."Well we should find his mouth, or the other way." Nami hit him over his head.
"HELL NO, I'D RATHER BE DIGESTED!" The snake started moving around throwing them off balance and down further in to the ruin's.

1. Should Naruto have Haoshoku Haki.(Conqueror's Haki.)? I was going to ask last chapter but forgot. I'm just asking because I've thought about giving him it since I saw on the One Piece wiki page that some of the people who have it are close in age. I think Ace had it and he's.. Five year's older than Luffy and this is only supposed to be a one in a million person getting it.
2. Around Thanksgiving I'll be taking a break for maybe two week's for two reason's. One is because I may not be at the computer as much, and the second is I'll type up four chapter's before uploading one because there's a chance I'll be gone for Christmas week with some family and I won't type at all. I say a chance because I was supposed to leave last year but something happened and we didn't go. So I'll type four chapter's before uploading one, and then just type up one chapter before posting another one keeping three as back up. Then if I leave I'll post two before I leave then two when I get back.
If I don't go, I'll put up the four chapter's at once. Well thanks' for reading and let me know of any mistake's.
