AN: Apologies for the wait. Life has been incredibly hectic. I know it's short, but it's necessary. Enjoy!

Later in the afternoon of the next day, Elliot and Olivia walked into her apartment. Olivia was happy to be home from the hospital even though it was a short stay. She went to lift her overnight bag and Elliot swatted her hand away.

"Nah-uh, no lifting. I don't care how heavy it is."

"El, I've lifted heavier since I found out I was pregnant."

"Doctor said stress-free."

Olivia threw her hands up in defeat knowing that it was stupid to argue with him, even though he was right. She moved over to the couch and sat down. She put both hand on her belly and rubbed the spot where Munchkin was kicking. She was excited to meet their baby girl. Thinking about that, she got up and made her way to the nursery that they were slowly getting together. All the furniture was there and set up, but there weren't many outfits or toys as Olivia was refusing a baby shower.

Elliot came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach. He rubbed her bump and kissed the base of her neck.

"You're supposed to be resting. Come on."

He took her hand and led her back to the couch. He sat down and pulled her next to him as best as he could.

"When did Cragen say you had to go back to work?"

"He said day after tomorrow at the earliest and next week, the latest. Why? Trying to get rid of me already?"

"Never. I was wondering."

She leaned against his chest and sighed. Her stomach grumbled and they both chuckled.

"Sounds like Munchkin is hungry."

"Yeah, she does."

"What does she feeling like eating?"

"Hmmm, she feels like fettuccine alfredo and hot wings."

"What a combination. I'll order it for you."

"Okay."

She leaned up and let him get out from behind her. He kissed her forehead and went to the kitchen to find the menus. She sighed and grabbed the remote to turn the TV on. She flipped the channels until she settled on watching Castle. She critiqued their jargon and how many things they got wrong, but she still loved the show nonetheless.

"The food will be here in twenty. Want something to drink?"

"A glass of cranberry-grape juice, please."

Elliot made a face and she chuckled and he went to get that for her. Turning back to the TV she saw Castle and Beckett finally kissing and she smiled as she knew how that felt. She knew how her friends felt too. It was about time.

Elliot walked back into the room and saw the tears running down her face. He set the juice down next to her and took the spot beside her.

"Hey, everything okay?"

"Yeah, I love this show."

"I know. Is that why you're crying?"

"No, well, yeah, kinda. I was thinking of how their relationship is like ours except that we're both cops. I just wish it hadn't taken so long to get together."

"Whether or not we took this long, what is meant to be will always find a way to come to light."

"Since when are you deep?"

"It's always been there. I just don't use it all the time. I'm glad that we finally got together though because I love you."

"I love you too."

The doorbell rang and Elliot jumped up to get their dinner. He paid the delivery boy and came back to the couch.

"Okay, fettuccine and hot wings for the ladies and some three meat lasagna for me."

"Mmm, this looks so good."

They ate and made small talk after which they showered together. He helped her reach those hard-to-reach places. They got out when the water ran cold and got dressed and climbed into bed. He spooned her and kissed her temple. She turned and kissed him. They settled and fell asleep.

Over the next few days, Olivia was already going stir crazy. Elliot had returned to work and she was left by herself most of the time. She watched TV and finally caught up on all the shows she had missed. She'd read all her books that she wanted to read. She even caught a couple of movies on TV that she had wanted to see, but now she was completely and utterly bored.

She picked up the phone and dialed the all too familiar number.

"Stabler."

"I'm so bored that I've begun counting the ceiling tiles."

"Did you read that one book Casey brought by?"

"Yeah, I didn't like it."

"What about that one movie?"

"Watched it. I've done everything. I've caught up on my shows and everything. I have nothing to do and I can't go anywhere. I'm so freakin' bored! How is the case going?"

"No, uh-uh, you're not to work at all. Cragen would kill me if I even think of telling you anything."

"Oh, come on, El, just one teeny tidbit."

"Nice try, Liv."

"Fine. At least bring me home some of the other books that Casey was going to loan me."

"Okay, I love you."

"I love you too."

She hung up and sighed. It wasn't too long when there came a knock on the door. She maneuvered up off the couch and waddled to answer it. She opened it to find Tucker standing there.

"Lieutenant, what can I do for you?"

"May I come in?"

Olivia nodded and let him in. She guided him to the kitchen where they took a seat.

"How are you feeling, Detective?"

"I'm good."

"Good. I was wondering, how long you and Stabler have been an item?"

"What does it matter?"

"It matters because couples can't work in the same unit, let alone the same precinct."
