Heh...Looks like I had this chapter typed but didn't upload it...Oh well! I made it longer and better just now so I hope that makes up for it. :)

I don't own Wallflower. (Wow, I haven't done this in a while... .)

Kyohei awoke to his alarm the next morning and debated about waking Sunako up. She'll get upset if I don't wake her up, though. And I really do love her cooking. What if I wake her up like I used to? That might be fun.

"Hey, Sunako! Make me breakfast!" Kyohei yelled with a goofy smile plastered on his face.

"What? Go make it yourself," Sunako mumbled and pulled the blanket over her head.

"No! Make me food! I'm hungry!" Kyohei leaned over and started to pull the blanket off of her, only to be hissed at.

"No! Go make it yourself! I want to sleep!" She yanked the blanket back so hard that it surprised Kyohei and made him fall onto her.

"Please? I'm hungry and you said you'd make me something." He unconsciously wrapped his arms around her, causing her to emit a small sigh of happiness.

Sunako's sleepy mind took in the warm body on top of hers and she immediately snuggled closer to it. "But this is so comfortable."

Kyohei tried to fight the comfort he was in as well. "Come on, Sunako. I have to go to work soon."

"What?" Sunako bolted up, forcing Kyohei into an awkward position. "Oh, yeah! I have to make you lunch!"

"Finally, you've woken up." Kyohei smirked at her antics and moved into a more comfortable position.

"You could have woken me up sooner if you didn't demand food, you know."

"Yeah, but this was fun." Kyohei tried to stand up but fell back onto her due to their tangled feet.

Sunako looked surprised for a second before realizing the cause. "I bet you won't be able to stand up right now."

"Oh, really? I can easily move my feet. Then I can stand up."

"What if I stopped you a different way? You know, since you woke me up like you used to, there should be a fight as well."

"Of course. I'd totally win this one though. You can't kick me unconscious. Plus, I'm bigger than you; it would be easy to pin you down."

"I'm just as good a fighter as you though. Keep in mind I also won all those fights we've had before."

"Sure, but we're not standing this time; and we won't be punching each other. I've got this in the bag."

"Fine, let's see who wins this time." Sunako smirked and flipped Kyohei onto his back. A look of shock briefly crossed over his features, but then the competitive smirk he'd been wearing for the past few minutes returned. He flipped her back and grabbed her wrists and pinned them above her head while he raised himself off the ground, only to have Sunako sweep her foot behind his legs and hit the backs of his knees. His legs buckled to the floor and she wore a victorious smirk. In response, he hauled her up into a sitting position and resumed standing up, dragging her with him. Surprised she hadn't done anything to thwart his plan, he became suspicious, and his thoughts were confirmed when she broke free of his grip and threw him to the floor. He knew what she was doing when he saw her take the position of the defensive throw and grabbed her wrist as he was falling, pulling her on top of him. Their faces were mere inches from each other and Kyohei gave in to the urge to kiss the dark girl on top of him. Even though she was still in battle mode, the kiss muddled her senses and a response seemed inevitable. As quickly as it had started, the kiss ended, leaving Sunako slightly dazed. It was an opening Kyohei's equally dazed mind miraculously saw, and he used to his advantage, bringing her up with him in a gentle embrace. Sunako's mind had cleared for the most part when she realized she was upright and knew she had to find a way to bring him to his knees. So, she fell backwards to the floor, knowing it either wouldn't hurt much, or he would twist them so he would cushion her fall. Both ways got him back on the ground and would therefore be successful. As soon as Kyohei realized he was leaning forward, and Sunako was starting to fall, it was too late to right himself, so he maneuvered them so she would land on his chest. Granted, it didn't put him in control, but at least it protected her. Why am I thinking about protecting her? We're fighting. Oh, yeah. I love her. Kyohei thought with a small smile as he looked into her amethyst eyes and rolled so he was on top of her. As soon as he saw her looking right back into his eyes, he moved his lips the two inches it would take to close the distance and kissed her again, this time waiting for her response. She returned his kiss a few seconds after he started and it went from gentle and sweet to competitive and intense, just like their forgotten fight. Kyohei's second alarm went off a minute later, reminding him that he had a job to go to. Ugh, I don't want to go, but I need enough money to get Sunako's ring. Kyohei grumbled as he broke the kiss and shut off his alarm.

"Ugh, I'm going to be late if I don't leave soon. I guess we better get up." He said as he mentally cursed his alarm and stood up.

Sunako stood up as well, and moved toward the door. "You only have to last a few more days. Then you can be done."

"That's good. I can't wait until Friday."

The couple walked to the kitchen, where Kyohei assumed his usual position behind Sunako as she cooked, and Sunako's mind became clouded with possible reasons why Kyohei was forcing himself to go to work. Maybe he really needs the money to pay for his rent. But if he…proposes…to me, then he won't have to worry about it. Does he not want to…marry me? Sunako felt a pang in her chest at the idea and pushed it to the back of her mind. No, it must be something else. It's kind of weird that he's only working until Friday, though.

Kyohei saw that she was cooking in a daze and became worried. I better get her ring quickly; I don't want her to think I don't want to marry her. But, if I tell her before Halloween, it ruins my perfect proposal plan. I really hope she's not thinking that right now.

As soon as the dishes were set on the table, they saw that Ranmaru had woken up early and was already seated with a playful smirk on his lips. "So, what was all that noise I just heard? It sure sounded like you were having fun."

"We were fighting! Get your mind out of the gutter!" Kyohei yelled as a blush started to creep up his neck at his friend's suggestion.

"But you two don't fight anymore. At least not the way you used to." Ranmaru slyly objected.

"That's because we weren't fighting like we used to. We were wrestling." Sunako replied innocently; still unaware of Ranmaru's innuendo.

"Oh, so you were wrestling? Maybe I wasn't too far off to begin with."

"No! We were legitimately wresting. It was nowhere near what you're thinking of!" Kyohei exclaimed defensively.

Sunako finally got the gist of the conversation and blushed profusely. "How could you even think we were doing…that?!"

Ranmaru smiled at his friend's late discovery. "Well, you two ARE getting married soon, I presume? Or it could be that Kyohei here is keeping it a secret so I won't bother with that. But what would you two do on your honeymoon? It's wonderful, you know. Best thing ever."

The couple just stared at Ranmaru in disbelief. "You're giving us advice on…that?"

"I think you've just reached a whole new level of pervertedness." Kyohei said with a red face, and turned to Sunako. "I need to go now or I'll be late. See you later."

Then he picked up his bento, put on his shoes, and walked out the door, leaving a very red Sunako in the dining room with Ranmaru. Thank god he didn't pry on the marriage part. I'm glad it can still sort of be a surprise. At least now she might not think I don't want to marry her. Now I just have to get through today, hopefully without too much attention. Here we go. Kyohei thought as he walked toward the construction site.
