Chapter 21

No one's POV

"Having fun, aren't we…?"

Everyone looked at the new comer when they heard the voice. They were surprised at first then smiled while the new comer smirked in return.

"Brother!" exclaimed Mira while the others exclaimed, "Keith!" except Shun. They all had a smile on their faces while Keith ran a hand through his hair and smirked. He was not totally formally dressed as he was wearing a V-neck off-white t-shirt with maroon blazer over it, which he kept unbuttoned and black pants.

"Aaa. Long time no see" greeted Keith and smiled. Mira hugged him and said, "Welcome back Brother!". It was obvious she was really happy. Just then, another person came into view.

"Hey guys!" exclaimed Baron and grinned, as came from behind Keith. The gang smiled looking at him. Baron wore a white shirt with a black vest while he carried his blazer in his hands, hanging it over his shoulder.

"Welcome back, Guys! That's a surprise!" exclaimed Dan and grinned. The other agreed with him and welcomed them, smiling.

"We thought you'll be arriving next week" said Shun, not showing much emotion.

"Aren't you happy I'm back?" asked Keith, faking a hurt expression while Shun rolled his eyes at that.

"Ofcourse, he's happy! He can even dance in happiness! Right, Shun?" said Dan and laughed but soon stopped as Shun hit him on the back.

"Shut up! Are you out of your mind?" said Shun, annoyed. The others laughed at them while Dan cried out, "OUCH! Just kidding, Dude!"

"No thanks. That's would be… weird…" said Keith, as if imagining the scene. "Oyi, I'm not going to do that anyway" retorted Shun as his eyebrow twitched.

Keith continued, "I just wanted to surprise you all so Baron and I planned it. Don't worry about consignment… we have completed it"

"Yes! It's a success! Let's enjoy the party, Man!" exclaimed baron. "Oh, we have a new member, huh?" asked Keith, noticing Alice who was smiling.

"Meet our new friend brother! She's Alice" said Mira as she introduced. She continued, "Alice, he's my brother Keith". Alice smiled and bowed in greeting.

"Nice to meet you, Keith-san!" greeted Alice and smiled. Keith smiled in return. He took Alice's hand and kissed the back of her hand. Shun glared at him while Alice blushed slightly.

"It's a pleasure to meet such a beautiful lady as you, Alice-san. Please call me Keith" said Keith and smirked as he held her hand. Their friends were already chatting among themselves. Keith glanced at Shun when Shun cleared his throat, "Hm".

Shun glared at him a little. "Now you noticed I'm still here… You can leave her hand now" Shun pointed out. Keith looked at Alice then at Shun. He smirked. 'So that's how it is…' he thought.

"Uh… got it. She's with you…? …Right" said Keith and sighed. The girls giggled. "I don't think his charm will work this time" Julie whispered to Runo and Mira who nodded in agreement and laughed.

"Let's go meet Marucho" said Shun as he turned while others agreed and followed him. They were already chatting among themselves and greeting familiar people along the way.

"Disappointed, Brother?" asked Mira, chuckling. Keith laughed a little. He shrugged, "Not really. Shun seemed jealous for the first time so I couldn't help it"

Shun sat at the buffet table as he glanced at his friends. Looks like they were having fun. He had finished his food a few seconds ago. They just met up with Marucho and congratulated Mr. and Mrs. Marukura on their anniversary while they were thanked and were said to have fun. Marucho had said that after dinner there will be dancing event. So, they were all gathered near the buffet table. He was sure he saw Dan's eyes had sparkled as they reached the table after seeing the food. It was really mouthwatering as the guests were enjoying and complimenting.

He smiled a little as Dan was smacked again by Runo who looked like shouting at him but there was a hint of pink on her cheeks. Ace, Keith and Baron were eating while chatting a little and Mira joined in sometimes as she was also busy talking with Julie and Billy. Marucho and Alice were busy in stopping Runo from hitting Dan.

Shun glanced at Alice, across the table, who was smiling happily. He sighed as he just noticed that he was stealing glances at her after short intervals, unknowingly. He closed his eyes but snapped them open when he heard her laugh. He frowned as he saw Keith was talking with Alice while she laughed. 'When did he go there?' he thought.

Shun narrowed his eyes as he saw Klaus approach Alice. She happily greeted him while Shun saw him kiss the back of her hand… again. Alice blushed slightly at that and that made him glare intensely at Klaus. He felt irritated as he saw her surrounded by both Keith and Klaus. 'This is getting annoying!' he thought, frustrated.

On the other hand, Keith noticed Shun glaring at Klaus and smirked. 'Well, this is interesting…' he thought as he saw Shun clench his fist and sighed. Keith was amused to see his Boss showing emotions, though they were only a little noticeable. He saw Klaus went to Marucho and smirked.

Keith put his hand on Alice's back, near her shoulder and lowered his head a little and said something to her. That did it… Shun stood up. Keith said something to Mira, who nodded and left with Alice, through the crowd.

"Where are you going?" asked Shun. He was standing in front of them. He was surrounded by girls the moment he left the buffet table but avoided them. 'What am I doing…?' he thought to himself as he saw Keith and Alice looking at him.

"We were-…" started Alice but Keith interrupted her. "Nowhere special, Shun. Well, she's enough to accompany me. We'll meet up later. So, excuse us" said Keith with a blank face. "Come on, Alice-chan!" he added, sweetly, which irked Shun.

"She will not go with you" stated Shun, glaring at him. Alice glanced between them, raising her eyebrow. She was going to say something when she saw Fabia and Ren at a distance. She smiled and waved at them. Ren waved his hand in return while Fabia looked aside.

"Uh… Shun? Keith wanted to meet Shiori-sama. Can you show him the way, please?" asked Alice, looking at him. Shun blinked then nodded. "I'll be back in a minute!" she said and went towards Ren and Fabia to greet them.

"It'll be better if you stay away from her, Keith" stated Shun, looking at Keith. Keith smirked. He pressed more on the matter.

"I'll try… but she's something else… Are you gonna fight me over her?" said Keith, thinking. He just wanted to see his boss's reaction. Shun narrowed his eyes at him. Keith also noticed that Shun's fist is clenched.

"She's really a nice girl, I must say… And you do know that there might be others as well who look interested in her" said Keith. Shun glanced around and saw the men were looking… staring at Alice. He frowned.

"As if they are a threat. I don't care what you think. Just stay away from her" stated Shun, annoyed at the conversation and himself. Keith laughed at him.

"Jealous…? Aren't you being possessive over her, eh, Boss? Looks like someone is afraid to show their feelings" said Keith as he left Shun alone. Shun stood there, dumbfounded. He was shocked at what Keith meant and just realized that what Keith said was true. He knew all along by the way he was thinking and acting but ignored it and didn't want to admit that he, Shun Kazami… has fallen. He frowned and thought to himself 'What am I running away from… I need to clear my mind…'.

Shun was pondering over his thoughts that he didn't realize that the people had already started dancing. He was dragged by his friends who noticed him standing in the way.

"Oyi, Shun? Did something happen…?" asked Dan. Shun kept walking without answering him and went towards the terrace with hands in his pockets. "Just leave him alone for a while… let's go dance!" said Keith and smirked.

Dan and the others glanced at Shun then at Keith, raising their eyebrows but nodded. They all proceeded to the dance hall. "Come on Runo!" exclaimed Dan as he dragged Runo, grasping her wrist.

"Wait! Don't walk so fast! I'm wearing heels, Idiot! I might-…" said Runo and before completing her sentence, she was falling. Dan instantly held her, breaking her fall while Runo was blushing madly.

"Sorry…Are you alright, Runo?" asked Dan, worriedly. Both were staring at each other. "I… I'm fine! Y…you can let go n…now" said Runo, stuttering. Dan noticed he was holding her waist and was too close to her. He blushed and instantly let go of her and said, "S…sorry!"

"Ehem…When are you gonna move, guys?" asked Julie and smirked. "Uhh… right" said Dan and walked while Runo and others followed.

"Come on Billy!" exclaimed Julie as Billy nodded and they both started dancing. Soon, the others followed suit and danced. Ace and Mira paired up as they saw Dan and Runo dancing. Baron was already dancing with a cute girl. Keith glanced around and saw women eyeing him and he sighed but soon smiled when he saw Alice and Shiori approaching them.

"Where's Shun?" asked Alice glancing around, as they reached Keith. Shiori glanced around to look for her son. "Shun just went towards terrace" said Keith, pointing towards the terrace and smiled.

"Okay! I'll go fetch him! He said he'll dance with me…" said Alice and smiled at Keith. Keith nodded and sighed as Alice left. 'Things I do for friendship…' he thought.

"Hello, Shiori-san! May I have this dance?" asked Keith, bowing and extended his hand. Shiori laughed. "Sure! Keith-chan! You are still a gentleman as you were when you were a child…" said Shiori, taking his hand and they proceeded to dance. Keith laughed, "Well, thank you"

At the terrace…

Shun breathed in the fresh air and exhaled. He was leaning on the railing, leisurely and stared at the moon. 'What should I do now…? Klaus is here that means she'll be leaving soon… One thing is clear… I can't stay away from her…' he thought and sighed.

"Hey, Shun! Let's go dance. Everyone is dancing" said Alice as she approached Shun. Shun looked at her, surprised as she stood beside him, smiling. Shun kept staring at her without saying anything and the atmosphere made him dazed. She looked breathtaking in the moon light to him. Her hair danced with the slight wind.

"Wow! The view is so beautiful!" exclaimed Alice, looking around and at the moon, smiling while Shun just kept looking at her. Alice looked at him questioningly. "Shun…?" she called out.

Instead of answering her, Shun extended his hand up and put it on her cheek, caressing a little. Alice blushed at his sudden gesture while Shun moved closed to her, his honey-brown eyes staring intensely in to her chocolate brown eyes as if telling her to read his feelings.

"S…Shun…? What-…" started Alice but Shun interrupted her by putting his index finger on her lips, silencing her. Alice blushed deeply now as Shun was too close to her, invading her personal space. She looked down, embarrassed as he leaned forward and touched his forehead with hers. She was surprised and embarrassed at the same time but glanced up only to find Shun had his eyes closed and was smiling. She had never seen him smile like that. 'What has happened to him…?' she thought, nervously.

Shun moved back a little and put his hand on her cheek again while Alice's face was already red. She was going to say something but couldn't open her mouth when Shun started…

"Alice… I…"
