Guns and explanations.

Go out and smell the roses Kaoru.

I would but there are none.

Don't be a smarty-pants.

Okay.

...Maybe you could go out.

To where?

I don't know, why do I always have to think of things!? go get a life~!

Sheesh, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.

Just get off your lazy *** and go do something. Ever since you broke up with your girlfriend you've done nothing but hang around your brother. He needs you off his back so he can spend sometime with his wife alone so they can work things out!

Actually she broke up with me.

Don't change the subject!

You left the subject before I could get a word in!

Go away!

Your my brain, you go away!

If I went away you'd be just like your brother~! short tempered and stupid.

Good point... Well looks like we're stuck huh?

Looks like it.

"..."

If there was something Kaoru realized that day, it was that he needed to stop having conversations with himself.. It entertained him in a way but it also made him feel insane. Who has actual conversations with themselves out loud? to him it just didn't seem normal, and to other people it probably wasn't.

But there just wasn't anything where he lived around, just a bunch of high towered hotels, busy expensive stores, and a bunch of stuck up rich people. . So what does one do to get away from all those people?

Well they go out anyway of course, but over to the lower class part of town, with a bunch of smelly much more nicer commoner people like Haruhi~

Granted Haruhi wasn't smelly but you know.

Kaoru shook his head trying to make his brain stop talking to him. It could be rude sometimes and he didn't want it talking to him to become a habit. . Because if he were to ever get another girlfriend, he didn't want to scare her away with his weirdness.

Walking always helped him. Hikaru never understood how it did, simply because it did the opposite for him, but it made it better for Kaoru. . It helped him think things through and figure things out, which is what he needed to do now. . Because he didn't know what to do with his life anymore. It just consisted around his twin and his friends. . If he wasn't at his brothers house he was at Hunny's house and if he wasn't there he was at Kyouya's, and if he wasn't there he would found over at Mori's. And just maybe he would trot over to Tamaki's.

But its time for Kaoru to be reborn~!

Oh my god, shut up.

Boo, your mean.

"Ugh." Kaoru covered his face with his hands irritably. Stopping in his tracks on the sidewalk. He needed to stop talking to himself. Because now it was starting to become a real problem. . He took a deep breath and cleared every little thought that he had swimming in his mind, and continued walking. His eye twitched as he remembered Kazumi.

Would you stop thinking about her already! can't you see she doesn't like your sorry ***!?

Would you stop getting in my head!

I am your head!

Well duh.

"I hate life." Kaoru sighed sadly. Choosing to ignore the voice in his head as much as he could.. It only talked to piss him off anyway. . He resisted the urge to fly over to America and find Kazumi, he wanted her back. but sadly he knew that his head was right. She obviously wanted nothing to do with him anymore, so she was a lost cause.

Perhaps he could text his brother? no. Hikaru needed to spend more time with Haruhi without any of them interfering. Like he told her, she needed to talk with Hikaru.. She needed to explain things so she felt better and wouldn't be all to depressed anymore.

Bump

Kaoru blinked, looking to his side a little confused. He cocked an eyebrow up as he looed down and saw a little boy standing there looking confused as well. . At first he didn't know what to do and he stared blankly at him. Looking at his ruffled up black hair. Then smiled.

"Well, hi~" Kaoru chirped. Stocking his hands in his pockets as he watched the little boys facial expression go from blank to disgust.. Which made Kaoru rather confused cause he looked much more clean and civilized then he did. The young kid had ice cream stained on his shirt and a small hole in his jeans. . He looked taken care of but obviously he just liked being dirty looking.

What do you expect from kids though? He remembered his and Hikaru always getting dirty, then being yelled at for playing in the baking four. . Just a couple more months and he'll have a bunch of little kids to spoil and let make messes.

After all, the parents are the ones who are suppose to set them straight... There was a sixty percent chance though, that him and Hikaru were only going to help them make messes and just have Haruhi punish them.

The small boy looked at Kaoru one last time before moving his hand slowly into his pocket. Not letting his eyes move from him. . Making Kaoru back up a little out of fear the young child was going to pull something out and throw it at him.

The boy grunted evilly and hurriedly pulled out a guy from his pocket and pointed it at poor innocent Kaoru.

Kaoru gulped and was about to lose all common sense and run. . Until he looked at it more thoroughly and realized that it was a toy gun and that it wasn't going to do much harm to him... Unless its a paint ball gun.

It could ruin his clothes... Oh the horror that would be.

The boy glared at Kaoru's horrified expression then started giggling like a psychopath as he fiddled with the side of the gun. Then aimed it at his once more, ready to fire. . He smirked and clicked it.

Kaoru flinched as the bullet hit his chest. . But it fell instantly to the ground and rolled a little to the left.. Kaoru hadn't even felt it.

It was foam.

Kaoru started laughing.

The boy gave Kaoru a rather offended look and scrunched up his nose in an irritated manner. . He huffed out his chest and realized that the bullet didn't do much damage to his enemy, so just decided to throw the whole thing it at him instead.

Kaoru winced, being hit in the chest by the whole gun itself.. He blinked as it then fell into his hand rather on the ground. . Kaoru then smirked victoriously as if he had just gained the upper hand in the situation.

And he had.

Watching the small boy run away. Kaoru cocked his head and fiddled with the toy gun with his fingers. After being an adult for way to long it has seemed that he had forgotten how to use it.. Then after remembering, and after the boy turned around to stick his tongue out at Kaoru.

Kaoru had pointed it at his face and fired it, just as the young boy did moments before.

"Ahh, my eye!"

Kaoru's face fell.

Damn. Look what you did now, you shot him in the eye.

Crap.

Hikaru blinked as he stared intently at his wife, who seemed to be making lunch but looked more like she was just standing in the middle of the kitchen for no reason, like she intended to make something, but wasn't sure how to go about it.

"Honey? what are you doing?" He asked, a little amusement in his tone, though a little bit of concern sense she was just standing there. . She had ben quiet all day today and had barely said a word to him unless he said something first. . Granted Haruhi wasn't a talkative person such as Tamaki, but she wasn't like Mori either.

"Hmm?" Haruhi turned around slowly to face him. Her finger to her bottom lip as if she was thinking intensely about something and she hadn't heard what he just said. "What'd you say?"

Hikaru sighed, and just gave up on trying to talk to her if she wasn't going to keep up with the conversation. . Not that there was one, it was more of just him running his mouth and her not listening.

He wished she would just forget about everything. . He knew that, that sounded a little selfish but at this point he didn't care anymore.. It had ben a week already why hasn't she just let things go? Its not like that sort of thing happened to her everyday, just once. . So why did she still have her mind set on it?

To him she was the one being selfish, over here he was trying to be there for her but it was like she just kept pushing him farther the closer he came.. Basically he was trying to help and she didn't want his help.

"I was just wondering what your doing." He rolled his eyes and slumped down into a chair that was part of the small table in the corner. Crossing his legs and getting comfortable sense he had nothing else to do. "You look... A little confused."

"I don't know."

"You don't know what? that your confused?"

"I don't know what to do."

Hikaru snickered and laid his chin down on his elbow. Continuing to look at her as she fiddled around the room like she was putting out stuff she was going to cook out of all of it, but he didn't how what she could possible make with just oil and butter. . "Well obviously, sense you haven't done anything yet, I would guess you don't know what to do, that's why I asked if you were confused."

"Oh."

It was killing him inside knowing that he was powerless to do anything to help her, What he was doing know wasn't doing jack-squat for her. What was he doing anyway? probably nothing, which would make sense that's how he's no doing anything for her.

He should though, actually doing something sounded like a good idea.

He would tell her right off the bat to stop being so moody and depressed. . But somehow he felt like he would be a jerk for saying something like that to her, she did after all get raped by her co-worker last week.

Hikaru took a deep breath, fighting the urge to throw himself into the wall just to get her attention. He un-crossed his legs and stood up. . Cause when you look up and see your wife rubbing her eyes you should go over to her and see what's the matter with her.

She wasn't crying. . . Well, not totally.. She tried not to.. Its not like she was crying from what happened either, she somehow was slowly getting use to it but, she was just rubbing her eyes from frustration.. Kaoru had told her a few days ago to talk to Hikaru, and she hadn't done that yet. More like did the opposite.

Honestly. She thought she was stronger then this. . She couldn't even handle something like this.. She was being a jerk by ignoring everyone around her and not appreciating everything they've done for her to help her get through it recently. . She was scared to tell anyone. . Scared of reliving it. But she knew she would have to tell someone eventually. That's what Kaoru was telling her, and she knew he was right.

Hikaru had walked up to her and abruptly dropped his hands on her shoulders, (making her flinch but he ignored it) He took another deep and was about to open his mouth to say something when he felt his pocket of his hoodie vibrate.

He narrowed his eyes as he let go of one of her shoulders with his hand and reached down to grab his stupid phone that was whining about a stupid text message, from a vary stupid person.

Until he noticed that the text message was from his twin, and not from a stupid person.

Sorry bro.

Feeling like he should apologize for calling his little brother stupid after he found him upstairs with Haruhi, keeping her company while he was down stairs he thought that the least he could do was answer his text message.

To: Hikaru
From: Kaoru
Message: Bro... Sorry to interrupt you if your doing anything... But I kind of got myself in a situation and I felt like complaining to someone.

He didn't know why, but what it said kind of amused Hikaru.

He smirked slightly and gave an apologetic look towards Haruhi for the interruption and tapped his thumb furiously across the small key board of his phone.

To: Kaoru
From: Hikaru
Message: Well Haruhi's kind of ignoring me right now, so I might as well talk to you. What did you do?

To: Hikaru
From: Kaoru
Message: Well, I kind of shot a kid in the face, and now I'm paying for it...

To: Kaoru
From: Hikaru
Message: ... XD ! Haruhi even thinks that funny! lol, that's tragic bro XD

To: Hikaru
From: Kaoru
Message: Does she really?

To: Kaoru
From: Hikaru
Message: ... NO ,'(T^T )'. And as much as I would love to hear all about it, I can't. I is a little busy with my pain in the butt wife right now.

To: Hikaru
From: Kaoru
Message: Fine, do what you need to do. Ill just be sitting here with this brat by myself.

Hikaru snickered one last time before closing his phone and stuffing it away, ignoring the last message that popped up, and deciding that hearing what his twin had to say about hitting a kid in the face with something, wasn't as important as hearing something that came out of Haruhi.

He sighed once more, and re-grabbed her shoulder. . He looked down at her a moment, waiting for her to look back at him.. But apparently she didn't feel like it and just continued to look down at the floor.

Quick to become aggravated. He placed his curled finger under her chin and tilted her head up just enough to be able to see her expression, then sighed and loosened the tension in his own shoulders when he saw her looking like she was about to cry... Again.

For no reason actually, because he hadn't done anything.

"H-...Haruhi?" His voice was firm and settle. Not taking any of this nonsense anymore from her. "...Sweetheart, I know you already told me you don't want to talk about it but, you cant just keep going on being upset and blocking me out... I can't help you that way."

"...I-... I know...but."

"I've ben hearing a lot of but's from you, and not completely sentences all day, so try harder then that okay?"

"..."

Hikaru rolled his eyes and pulled her into the living room. Then sat her down on the couch.

And there, (whether she wanted to or not). He forced her to talk.

"You know." Kaoru sighed. "You can leave when ever you want, I'm not forcing you to follow me."

"Buy me another ice cream. Then we can talk."

"You've already had five."

"I'm the on who's ben eating, how do you know how many I've had?"

"Because I've ben counting."

"Yeah well... I've ben counting too, and I only counted two."

"If you think you've only had two then your terrible at math, granted so am I but at least I can count to five."

"So... Is that a yes?"

"Ugh."

Kaoru rolled his eyes and laughed a little inside as he slid another ice cream over his way across the counter of the small ice ream parlor then slid it over to the little kid who was sitting next to him. Sighing at his grin of triumph once he got a look of the triple chocolate stacked cone.

"Hey what's that face for?" The kid asked licking his sixth ice cream cone with contentment. "Your the one who shot me in the face not me."

"Technically you shot me first." Kaoru corrected him. Crossing his arms and leaning over the counter. Looking at the ice cream vendor glanced at the two of them with amusement in her eyes, the same one who thought that the kid was Kaoru's son. . "What's you name anyway? I've spent over a thousand yen on you and I have no idea who you are."

"Why would I tell you? your a stranger." The kid said simply. Taking a big bite off the top scoop of his ice cream, making a face showing that it was severely cold, but just continued to eat more. "You tell me first."

Kaoru looked at his suspiciously, cocking an eyebrow. Not knowing whether playing the kids game was worth it, to just get a name out of him. "... What's your last name then?"

"...Nope sorry I can't do that, last names even more intimate then the first."

"All right fine, its Kaoru." Kaoru sighed, telling the strange kid his name, inside hoping that he wasn't going to have to buy any more ice cream for him, but him being a nice person, he might eventually end up buying the whole shop.

"That's nice."

"And yours?"

"My what?"

"Your name, you-..." Kaoru paused himself. Not wanting to irritated the kid further with hilarious to him nicknames with would cause him to sit there longer buying the chunky kid more ice cream. . "Why are you so difficult?"

"Why are you so eager to know a twelve year old boys name? are you some kind of pedo or something? "

"Please don't say that out loud, people are watching."

"So you are?" The boy sneered towards him, stopping his ice cream cone in mid air, just inches from going into his mouth. . "And you've ben buying me all this ice cream? you sicko."

"What?! No!" Kaoru gasped, slapping a hand over the kid ice cream infected face. Making a face as he felt him licking his hand. Then quickly pulled it away, wiping his palm on a napkin, glaring towards the kid in disgust. With everyone in the shop looking at them weirdly. "T-that's not even fun to joke about, sheesh."

The kid wiped his mouth, looking at Kaoru oddly once he pulled his hand away. Sighing as he happily went back to his ice cream like nothing ever happened, licking a big gulp of whipped cream and got some on his cheek. Which he didn't even bother to wipe off, telling Kaoru that he obviously didn't care that he had stuff all over his shirt, face and pants after six ice cream cones.

"Are you lost or something? cause I would be more then happy to find you parents." Kaoru sighed dramatically, similar to the way Hikaru would, and sat up straight. "We've ben sitting here for over a half an hour, they're probably looking for you by now, if you are lost."

"I'm not lost, they don't care where I am." He stuck up his nose and looked away form the man with weird orange hair. Looking at his cone again, Glaring at it an attempt to make it grow three more stacks. "They're probably busy with work else anyway."

"Wow, you've got yourself in a vary classic family problem don't you." Kaoru snickered at the young kids sudden change of attitude.. "That's what nearly all the kids your age say, when its really not the case, I can pretty much guarantee that your parents are you looking for you right at this second when your sitting here taking all my pocket change." He pointed out simply.

The boy shrugged and continued to finish off his ice cream, slowly. Because deep down he somehow knew that he probably wasn't going to get anymore ice cream out of the funny looking stranger who was sitting next to him.

He didn't like the topic about his parents so he waited a bit, watching the guy play with his phone every time it made a funny noise. . He cocked his head and looked away form his beloved, much loved almost gone ice cream. Blinking at Kaoru. "Who are you texting anyway? your girlfriend?"

"No, my brother." Kaoru sighed simply. "I did have a girlfriend... But she dumped me."

"Oh...I had a girlfriend too, but I don't think she liked me."

"Yeah."

"She kept kissing her brother."

"..."

"Then I found out that her brother, was really her real boyfriend."

"The struggles real."

"Yeah."

"How old was she?"

"Sixteen..."

"My girlfriend left me for an American."

"Dose your brother have a girlfriend?"

"No, he's married."

"Oh."

"Yeah."

The next thing he knew, Kaoru had brought himself into an intense conversation with a twelve year old boy, about love.

"Its Hikaru." The boy sighed. After a while of silence from both of them. He had fished his ice cream and was then suffering from a stomachache, so decided not to try and con the man into buying him anymore. "My names Hikaru."

"..." Kaoru blinked. A little confused as to what he had just said, it was so out of the blue that Kaoru barely got his head around it. Then going back a few steps into memory lane he was still lost. "...What?"

"I said my name's Hikaru. weren't you listening?" He sighed and slumped back into the stool like chair that he was sitting in that was pushed up to the counter for everyone who sat there to get fast service. "God, your slow."

"You names Hikaru?" Kaoru asked suspiciously, Saying it out loud seemed to help him believe it a little more, and as a picture of his twin flashed across his brain, he began to chuckle loudly as he knew that if his brother knew that a little kid had the same name as him, it would totally give his ego a heart-attack. "Hehe... Hikaru huh? Ah that's rich."

"What's so funny?! I'm not making fun of you name!" Kid Hikaru gave him a offended look and slumped deeper into his chair. "Your name's originally for a girl~!"

"Jokes on you then." Kaoru continued to try and contain his annoying guffaws. "Its unisex~"

"Oh yeah well It means perfume~!"

"Calm down." Kaoru laughed, ruffling his black hair even more then it usually looked and grinned. "That's my brothers name too."

"Oh."

"God, and you act just like him too."

"He must act cool then."

"Naw, he's an idiot."

"..."

On the other side of town. ~

When he had told her to tell him everything, He meant it. . Every little detail of every detail. . Though he kind of regretted it after awhile. . . Too late though. He wanted to know everything and now he did.

No one said he was smart.

On the upside! she managed not to cry while explaining everything. . On the downside, Haruhi was incredibly sad now, and wasn't talking to him anymore.. Well he was talking and she was listening and would say something in response but... Somehow he felt like she didn't want to she didn't want to talk to him.

He didn't know what to say either. . Other then, he really, really wanted to beat someone's ass. Slow and painful. . That's what Hikaru was doing right then. . Thinking of ways to kill a man, without any evidence that would lead the crime back to him. . Perhaps Kyouya could whip up something?

Cause Hikaru had ben thinking long and hard about it.. For ten minutes to be exact. . At first the most logical plan that wouldn't trace back to him so easily would be to drowned him.

But then that would make him feel like an insane psycho maniac.

He could always just burn him... But that would be totally gross and he didn't think he'd be able to stand the smell.

Now... Using an icicle as an murder weapon could work. . That way it would melt and nobody would know!

But that wouldn't be vary fun now would it?...

It was then that Hikaru finally realized that. Hitachiin's had vary strange thoughts.

He wanted so bad to just walked over there and find the man, stare him blnkly in the face and ask. Why? Honestly that was really the only question Hikaru had for him. Was why? why did he do it? cause there is seriously no excuse for doing something like that to her.

Sitting silently on the couch together, with his arm wrapped around her shoulders and her legs curled up below her, and her head laying contently on his shoulder. Which was also falling asleep but he didn't dare move it. . That may irritate her.

She told him... Was Kaoru happy now? He lied anyway, he said it would make her feel better. Well it didn't. . She didn't know how she felt now, but it was obviously not better. Did Hikaru feel better? who felt better?

Exactly. No one.

"Babe, you okay?"

"I don't know anymore."

"Well... What do you wanna to do about it? I mean... It's kind of up to you."

"Nothing... Just sit here and not think about it."

Hikaru shrugged and laid a hand on her stomach.

"I'm down with that."

Haruhi smiled slightly as she cuddled up closer to her husband. So close that if she were to shirt slightly, she'd be on his lap. She sighed heavily and laid her hand above his that was on her stomach.. She blinked as she felt light flutter down at the pit of were his hand was, but the second she felt it, it was already gone, she wondered if Hikaru felt it, but from the blank look on his face she guess that he didn't.

"So..." Haruhi said softly after a long silence between them. "When do you plan on going back to work?" She asked. Curious about the topic, sense it had ben almost two weeks sense he had went to work. . She didn't want to keep him from his job.

"I don't know, when ever I feel like it... And I don't feel like it." He smirked and laid his head down on hers. Using his other hand to comb softly through her brown hair. Freeing it from random tangles. . He was thinking about texting his brother back, but he felt like he should just sit there with her. No technology involved.

"When do you plan an going back to work?" He asked with a bit of hesitation. Feeling like that was the number one question that should be answered. Considering that she kind of got violated there, she might feel better just staying home.

"Mmm..." She started. Twirling a piece of her shirt between her two fingers. . Knowing exactly what she was trying to say, but just didn't know how to voice the words. " I don't know... I might not go to work anymore."

Oh wow, he totally just called that one.

"Really?" Hikaru raised a concern eyebrow down at her. . She had spent all that time studying in school, staying up so late that she could barely keep her eyes open the next day, and putting all the devotion into it just to become a lawyer? and she was just going to quit? granted he knew full well why, but... She shouldn't be scare to go to work. That was just wrong. . Damn him for doing that to her.

"I don't know why I feel about that Haru." He admitted. Sighing into her hair, not knowing what else to do. "I mean, you don't really want to stop working do you?"

"No... But, I might fine another law office... But I'm not sure right now."

"Yeah." He was quick to agree and just kissed her on the cheek. Brushing her bangs away from her face a little bit and just sat there content on just sitting with his wife in silence.

Kaoru blinked at 'kid' Hikaru and noticed that he was long finished with his ice cream and contemplated wiping his dirty face for him. Cause obviously he wasn't going to do it himself, but Kaoru resisted, cause that would be weird. .

He couldn't believe he actually was talking about his love life with him though, a twelve year old boy wouldn't know a thing about love, but he somehow made Kaoru a lot less lonely and a lot less pathetic.

Sometimes you just have to talk to a Hikaru to feel better about yourself.

"Okay, so we've officially ben sitting here for an hour." Kaoru sighed, getting off the stool and stood up. Dropping his phone in his pocket as he did so. Watching as 'kid' Hikaru hopped off his and stood next to him. Giving his a suspiciously look Kaoru raised his eyebrow at him.

"Yup, so where are we going next?"

"What do you mean where are we going?" Kaoru asked puffing out his chest as the woman in the parlor started giggling and making weird amused sounds at them. "I'm going home, and so are you." He stated. "Simple."

"Really? I don't feel comfortable going to a strange guy's house when I've only known him for an hour."

"No you dork. I'm going to my house and your going to yours."

"Why?"

"Because I said."

"You can't tell me what to do."

Kaoru face palmed.

He shook his head down at the young boy and sighed again, turning around to walk out the door. Feeling like just walking away from him and leaving him there would be the best way to get rid of him. . Sure the kid was fine to talk to after he had accidentally shot him in the eye with a foam bullet but to be honest. . . Kaoru would much rather talk to his Hikaru rather then talk to a Hikaru he had just met on the street.

After hearing footsteps behind him. Kaoru gave up on trying to lose him and just kept walking, ignoring the kids continuous jabbering, similar to a humming birds wings if they could talk. . He took a deep breath and was just thankful that he wasn't talking to himself anymore.

"Your a mess you should go home and change~" Kaoru said in happy sarcasm. He didn't know why he was trying though. Hikaru just ignored him and continued talking anyway. . . Hey, just like the other Hikaru~!

"What'd you say?" Hikaru asked in confusion as he stopped himself and his endless chatter about his favorite ice cream and his least favorite, and looked up towards Kaoru as he said something and he was pretty sure it was about him.

"Nothing." Kaoru rolled his eyes and proceeded to walk down the sidewalk, Sticking his hands in the pockets of his dark green hoodie. Now walking beside the kid, and he also didn't listen to a word he said about gummy bears and whipped cream.

"Stop running, come back puppy~!"

"Huh?" Both Hikaru and Kaoru turned around at the sound of someone yelling behind them. . Their eyes widened as a huge white dog came running around the corner, and started pacing fast towards them.. It seemed to be carrying a hat.

Both the boys screamed and watched in terror as the large snow man like dog came closer, neither one of them moved. They just stood there.

"Please?! Get back here~!"

Kaoru blinked as he saw someone else chasing down the dog. . Particularly a woman if you wanted him to be specific.. Her hair was in a long braid, that had come undone a little possibly from running. . Kaoru could only guess that, the dog belonged to her, cause why else would a dog be running and her chasing after it if she wasn't trying to catch it and was calling it puppy?

Without thinking it though vary long. Kaoru had stopped his brain and went to catch the leash the dog was attached to as it was about to run past him. He didn't know why he did it. It was a huge dog and was pretty sure it was capable of dragging him along like a twig if he grabbed ahold of it.

But all that reading in high school instead of playing basket ball with his twin. had strengthened his arms a lot more then Kaoru had thought and was able to grab onto the leash as it dragged across the ground when the dog tried to wiz past him.

The dog jerked back a little as it's leash was gabbed and he sat down instantly. . Panting hard as his thick white coat of hair flew slightly in the breeze the had suddenly decided to blow that moment.

The girl came running up to them just seconds later, her panting just as hard as the dog. . She hunched down attempting to catch her breath as Kaoru looked down at her confused. With 'kid' Hikaru giving her the same look.

She shot up instantly making them both flinch. . Her cheeks were red from the cold as she was just wearing skinny jeans, cowboy boots, and a plaid shirt that was rolled up to her elbows. . She blinked a few times. in sync with her hard breathing and looked directly at Kaoru, smiling.

"You caught him.." She managed, Pointing out the obvious, still a little out of breath. Her bright green eyes peering right into Kaoru's soul. . "I've ben... Chasing him all afternoon." She stated. Finally standing up straight. . "Thank you."

"..."

Hikaru blinked at the strange girl who wasn't wearing a jacket in the chilly march breeze and glanced towards Kaoru, the man who had bought him all that ice cream. . He raised an eyebrow at him and wondered why he was looking at her oddly.

Kaoru Stared at her with his mouth slowly opening, as if he was trying to get a word out, however he almost forgot the breath in the process.. He blinked and was completely speechless instead..

He gasped silently out of air finally and blinked as he heard her talking to him again. . Wearing skin tight jeans and those long cowboys boots, and her messy blond hair...

She looked so cute.

Hitachiin's are fainthearted for cute girls.

"Uh..." She blinked puckering her lips out in awkwardness. "Can I have my dog back?"

"Oh sorry." Kaoru managed after being awakened from his day dreaming by being pocked in the ribs by 'kid' Hikaru. He looked up at her freckled face and smiled. "Here." He said. Handing her the leash as she stood up from picking her hat from out of the dogs mouth.

"Thanks." She snorts at Kaoru's flustered face and centered her hat in the way she liked it on her head. "Sorry my dog almost ran you over."

"I-...Its okay."

She smiled again squeaking in surprise as she twirled around in a whirl and the dog started trotting off the other way. And she let the large dog guild her down the sidewalk again.

Hikaru looked up at Kaoru as he was apparently so completely blown away by the girl who had suddenly decided to pop up and ruin their conversation they were having about ice cream.

Actually he was just talking about ice cream and Kaoru was just ignoring him.

"She's... So cute." Kaoru stuttered under his breath. Watching as she walked away with he huge white dog. . Blown away was pretty appropriate for how he felt.

Hikaru looked at him a little weird and almost laughed. "What you've never seen her around here before?" He asked raising his eyebrow.

"No."

"She's around that way a lot during the weekends playing at the church steps." He said simply, as if everyone was suppose to know that. Pointing down the road to a behind them.

"Really? what's her name?"
