A life-long book
Yet words,
They have no meaning
Stretched beyond the
Milk white sky
Just to find out they were bleeding
Ribbons of clouds
Hung sweet and low
Against the earth,
It sighs,
If we could just reach out
And pull back the layer of down
To see the gold sun rise
The key around your neck has thought
Of thoughts we feel no more
About love
And life
And faith like tussled feathers
Wash up on the foam-stained shore
