Kyandi: Greetings, Kyandiacs!

Hisame: You're honestly settling on that as the name for your readers?

Kyandi: Yep! My six year anniversary of writing fanfiction on this site is coming up. So I'm giving a name to all those who have loyally followed me this long.

Hisame: Well...I guess that makes sense.

Kyandi: Yep. So all of you are now known as Kyandiacs!

Hisame: I still think your weird.

Kyandi: Yeah, well that's been established for a long time now. Anyway, with this, everyone please enjoy and review.

Hisame: Kyandi-sama does not own Prince of Tennis.

Chapter 21 Changing

The next morning Hisame woke herself up by almost falling out of bed. The near fall scared her awake and had her gripping the edge of the bed in an attempt to keep from hitting the cold, hard floor. Hisame pushed herself up into a sitting position, shivering when the cold air of the room hit her bare skin. She yanked the blanket up to cover herself. One glance around the room reminded her of exactly where she was at the moment.

Hisame turned, looking at the other side of the bed. Niou was asleep on his back, one arm spread out to make a pillow for her while his actual pillow was pulled over the top half of his head. Hisame shook her head at him. She was half tempted to haul off and hit him in the stomach, but, honestly...she just couldn't bring herself to it to him when he was sleeping like that. Not to mention that it was his birthday. Instead, she slid out of the bed and, muttering about the cold, she quickly tiptoed across the room to her bag, grabbing clothes before vanishing into his bathroom.

Once she had showered and dressed, she went into the kitchen to start breakfast. Niou was still lightly snoring away as she started cooking. When Niou finally woke up and pulled the pillow off his face, his nose instantly picked up the smell of food. He sat up, sniffing the air. It took him a moment, as well as seeing that he was naked, to remember that Hisame was there.

Normally, she didn't like sleeping in the same bed as him, so usually she was gone afterward. And she never let him have sex with her in her bed. It was a bit different to wake up to the smell of her cooking drifting through his apartment. But he wasn't going to complain at all. Throwing aside his blanket, he got out of bed and, forgoing putting on clothes, he went to the kitchen. Hisame was there, standing at the stove, an apron thrown on over her clothes. She had her back to him as she cooked.

"Smells good." he remarked.

"Oh, you're awak-"

Hisame cut off as she turned to look at him. For a moment, she simply stared at him before she heaved a sigh. She shook her head as she turned back to her food.

"You are far too comfortable in your own skin, Chrome Dome. At least put on some pants. I don't know how you're not freezing, standing there like that." she remarked.

Niou looked down at his naked state. It was a bit chilly but it wasn't really like it bothered him. But if it would make her feel better, he would put on his pants...later. Right now, he was more focused on just how short Hisame's skirt was. It was the type of skirt that girls would normally wear tights with, but Hisame had yet to put any on. It gave him the perfect view of her underwear whenever she bent over. Grinning, Niouw slipped up behind her, laying his hands on her hips to pull her back against him.

Hisame, for a moment, froze in what she was doing when she felt the length of him against her backside. She couldn't believe just how easy it was for him to get turned on. It was like the guy woke up in the morning and rolled out of bed ready to go at it.

"Not in the kitchen." she growled at him, continuing with her cooking.

"Then leave the food for a moment. We could do it with you on top again." he offered.

"Never again!" Hisame said quickly.

That had been way to much for her. She hadn't lasted long with how intense it felt. She never wanted to be in that position again. Her attention snapped back to Niou as his hands began to move up over her stomach. Setting aside the spatula in her hand, she grabbed his wrists, pulling his hands away from her.

"Remember what you said, Bubble Head. You'll do anything I want today." he reminded her.

Hisame grit her teeth, fighting back to urge to curse. She had said that and she was intending to keep the promise. It was for his birthday after all. But that didn't mean he had to keep throwing it up in her face all the time.

"Can it at least wait until after we eat? The food will be cold if not." Hisame remarked.

"Deal."

With that, Niou released her and stepped back away from her. Hisame heaved a relieved sigh and went back to cooking. Niou, not bothering with clothes, perched himself on one of the two chairs at the kitchen table and watched her as she finished cooking and carried the two plates to the table. Hisame sat across from him as the two got to eating. She wasn't really in much of a hurry to finish eating, but from the way he shoveled down his food and stared at her, he was ready for her to finish. Hisame was partly tempted to roll her eyes at him.

When she finally finished and got to her feet to clear the dishes from the table, Niou jumped up from his seat, grabbing her wrist to stop her. Hisame looked up at him as he slipped up behind her.

"What are you doi-"

Hisame cut off as Niou reached under her skirt and shoved her panties down over her hips. He bent her over the table and nudged her feet apart. Hisame braced her hands on the table, gasping as, with no preparation, Niou thrust into her. The sudden entry wasn't exactly the most comfortable for her, but he made it up to her soon enough. Niou leaned over her bowed back, pressing his face into the back of her neck as one hand dived under her shirt and into her bra. He used the other hand on the table top to brace himself.

Hisame let her head hang forward, focusing on staying on her feet while the sound of rattling dishes on the table filled her ears. Hisame's muttering, drew Niou's attention then.

"...inconsiderate...ahn...jerk..."

Niou grinned against the nape of her neck. She was saying that, yet he could feel the little shivers now and then that traveled up her spine. Not to mention the low moans and groans that fell from her lips. Leaning forward until his chest was pressed against her back, he spoke directly into her ear, his lips brushing the shell of her ear.

"You know, I've already gotten one of the three sex acts from you that you refused to do. I bet I could get another." he said lowly.

"I bet you can't." Hisame replied.

Niou's hand ran over her skin, sliding down her stomach and lower to her thigh before sliding under her skirt. He grinned when her breath hitched as his finger ghosted over her clit.

"It feels good for the girl too." he said lowly.

"What is it...with men...and wanting to...have anal sex?" Hisame asked between pants.

"Can you blame me? You have a great ass." Niou replied back.

"Horny pervert."

Niou chuckled, his finger ghosting over her clit again. Hisame gasped, her arms and legs wobbling like they might give out at each second.

"Is that a "yes"?" he asked.

"No! It's a no!" she corrected quickly.

"Fine. We can always go for number three." Niou pointed out.

Hisame grit her teeth. He was really trying to push his limit here. When they had first started, she had told him that there were three things she wouldn't do; blowjobs, anal, and threesomes. Now that he had gotten the first, he was trying to push her for the other two. Hisame would rather give him another blowjob than to do either of the other two. Swallowing her pride, she made a counter offer.

"I'll give you another blowjob if you drop all talk about anal and threesomes." she offered.

She could feel him chuckling due to his chest being pressed to her back. She could even feel his lips curl into a grin at her ear.

"I'll take it." he told her.

He wasn't about to tell her that that was what he had been aiming for from the beginning. She would probably feel the need to smack him with a frying pan. With that deal made, he quickly brought them both to a finish, Hisame sagging against the table for a moment. Niou stepped back from her, letting her pull herself together. Walking across the apartment to his closet, he dug around inside to pull out clothes. Hisame would never be able to figure out how he recovered from a round of sex so quickly, but she didn't have long to dwell on that.

"Let's go to the amusement park."

Hisame, in the process of correcting her clothes, glanced across the room to where Niou was wiggling his way into his jeans. He had his back to her, so he didn't see the look on her face.

"Amusement park? In December?" Hisame asked.

"Yeah. There's one near here that has a lot of winter events. They sell a lot of winter drinks and foods and everything. I've wanted to check it out." Niou remarked, adding a "puri" in.

He turned to look at Hisame when she didn't say anything. She was staring at him with a look of shock on her face. Buckling his belt, he turned to face her, still shirtless.

"Or we could stay here and talk about how pretty Yagyuu's girlfriend is." he remarked. "I mean, it's a conversation that has to happen."

Hisame's face twisted up and she stuck her tongue out in distaste. She instantly started to shake her head at the suggestion.

"No thanks. It's a conversation I never want to have." she replied.

"Have to sooner or later." Niou retorted pulling a shirt out of his closet and yanking it over his head.

"Why? Because it means that thanks to that stupid deal, I'll be stuck doing this for the rest of my life?" Hisame asked, spreading her hands to indicate his apartment and everything they had done there.

"Only until I get married." Niou remarked idly.

"Ha! You? Get married!? There's a better chance of the sky turning pink. You don't even date! You say it's too much of a hassle." Hisame said, finding the whole thing to be rather idiotic.

Though the thought of Niou in a groom's clothes did make her laugh. He was more likely to sprout wings then to get married.

"You don't know. My mom could arrange a marriage for me." Niou joked.

"I should be so lucky. Maybe I should help her arrange that."

His shirt and sweater on, Niou turned to Hisame who was standing in the middle of the kitchen, her arms crossed and one side of her mouth twisted up as she stared at the floor. Walking over to her, he lightly grabbed her cheek and pulled. Hisame turned with his tug, trying to avoid pain, and ended up facing him. Niou grabbed the other cheek and pulled both.

"Ow~! Sop tat! It urts!" Hisame complained, her words coming out strangely.

She reached up to grab his hands but couldn't pull them free of her cheeks. Niou grinned as he forced the corners of her mouth up into a smile.

"It's not the end of the world, you know. Yagyuu has dated and broken up before. Besides...I'm awesome. You're lucky to get to spend so much time with me." Niou told her.

"'Eah righ!" Hisame tried to snap but Niou just pulled a little harder on her cheeks.

"Come on, smile." he urged.

"I'm smilin', I'm smilin'!"

Niou released her cheeks and clapped his hands over her cheeks instead, angling her head up so she was looking up at him through teary eyes.

"That hurt, you jerk! And what's so good about this position I'm in?" Hisame snapped.

"You should be complimented that I would rather have you around then a girlfriend." he told her.

"What part of that is suppose to be flattery!?"

"It means I like your body...a lot." Niou replied, his eyes scanning down her form.

"Yeah...that's not a compliment."

"Would a kiss make you feel better?"

"No."

Niou grinned when she said that one word with as much sourness to it as she could muster. He gave her a kiss anyway, though she hit him in the gut for it. Not hard, but hard enough to get her point across. She didn't want a kiss at the moment.

"Get some actual warm clothes on so we can go." he told her, releasing her face.

When she opened her mouth to say something to him, he smacked a hand against her butt, jolting her forward. Hisame, her hands flying back to her butt, whipped around to glare at him, her cheeks red. Niou just shooed her along. Grumbling to herself, she turned and sought out her leggings in her bag. Was it so bad that he found it ridiculously adorable and funny to watch her some times?

She just made it too easy for him to mess with her.

He refused to think that it was anything else.

"So...pretty..."

Niou, leaning back in his seat, turned to look at Hisame who had plastered herself to the windows of the ferris wheel bucket they sat in. She was busy staring down at the ice sculptures and winter displays spread throughout the park below. Niou watched her, her face lighting up as she stared below. He couldn't help noticing small things about her, sitting there watching her like that. The first thing being...her hair was now, at least, twice the length it had been when she had walked back into his life over a year ago.

The pale blue-silver locks now fell in silk locks past her shoulders. He could see why she had cut it to begin with. She was far prettier with longer hair. It gave her a look of softness that her shorter hair didn't. Though, if he was being honest...he liked her short hair just as much, if not more.

The second thing he noticed, was that her cheeks were flushed with a pink stain that could have been from cold or from her excitement at seeing the winter display. If it was the latter, then it contradicted her earlier reluctance to go to the amusement park. It was a little adorable to see her get to excited from just looking down at the display.

The third thing he noticed, was that standing there, with her cheeks flushed and her face alight with excitement and a smile tugging her lips up...she was more beautiful than the display below. He had found himself noticing, more and more recently, just how pretty she really was. He had always known she was good looking, but now...if she was around and was laughing or smiling, he couldn't help but stare at her.

What had changed?

He could blame it on the longer hair, but he knew, deep down, that that wasn't the case. It probably had something to do with their relationship. Though they still bickered and fought and neither could help but pick at the other if the chance presented itself, they had, somewhat, become friends. Hisame was no long going out of her way to purposely mess with his life and to anger him and he didn't tease her nearly as much as he once had.

That had to be the difference.

"What is it?"

Niou snapped out of his thoughts when Hisame turned to him and spoke, her eyebrows furrowed in questioning when she found him staring at her.

"Huh? Oh...nothing. You're cheeks are red." he pointed out.

Hisame's gloved hands came up to her cheeks, rubbing at them as she finally noticed how cold her face had gotten.

"Oh...yeah. I forgot my scarf back at your apartment. It's really chilly." Hisame remarked, turning to turn back and look out the window.

"Come here."

Hisame turned her head back to him when he called her. He beckoned her over to him with two fingers. Curious, but also a little wary, Hisame turned and walked over to him. Niou grabbed her arm and pulled until she sat down next to him. Turning towards her, he removed his own scarf and begun wrapping it around her neck, making sure it was bundled close enough that she would be warm, but not too close as to choke her.

"What are you doing? This is your scarf." Hisame protested.

"Yeah, well, I have a hood on my coat, you don't. I'll be fine." he told her.

He made sure it was secure before he let his hands fall away from her. Hisame reached up to touch the scarf, Niou's smell swarming her nose. She had to admit...it was warm. Her eyes came back up to lock in on Niou's face.

"Are you sick?" she demanded.

"No."

"Then you're drunk? High? Something."

"Nope."

Hisame eyed him. It was such a suspicious look that Niou was half tempted to grin, but he knew if he did, she would just suspect something was going on even more than she already did. So he just sat there, straight faced.

"Something has to be wrong with you. You're never this considerate." she remarked.

"I do nice things for people." Niou replied.

"You're definition of nice is my definition of horrid."

Niou couldn't help his grin anymore. To him, it was funny how she automatically jumped to the worse answer possible. At least with him, she did. Then again...he hadn't given her any reason not to consider the worse.

"Then I'll take it back." he said, reaching for the scarf.

"Not a chance, Chrome Dome. It's warm." Hisame replied, scooting away from him.

Niou couldn't help but laugh at this and, to his surprise, Hisame grinned, as if she had purposely been trying to make him laugh. Now that was something new. She even joined him in laughing when he took a playful lunge for her and she popped up out of her seat, sending the bucket rocking and knocking her off balance and into his lap.

Niou caught her and, with a grin, wrapped his arms tightly around her, keeping her from escaping him. His fingers instantly went to work locating every spot on her body that was ticklish, sending her into a fit of undignified giggles.

"Stop! Please! Hehehehe! I-I...I can't breathe!" Hisame gasped between giggles.

Niou finally stopped when she could no longer drag a breath in. Hisame sagged against him, gasping in air. Now and then a giggle would still escape her as if his fingers were still tickling her. When she had caught her breath, she let her head fall back against his shoulder.

"Oh, my sides hurt now." she remarked.

Niou wrapped his arms around her loosely and grinned in victory. Hisame jammed an elbow back into his ribs, but it wasn't hard and he couldn't take it badly when there was a smile on her face. Niou didn't know what came over him in that moment, but he reached out, grabbed her chin, and turned her face towards him, planting a kiss on her lips.

Hisame was surprised because it wasn't like his normal kisses. Normally, his kiss was rough, demanding, all take and no give as well as all tongue. A kiss merely out of habit. This though...this was gentler, sweet almost, nothing more than lips on lips. She was so surprised that when he pulled back, all she could do was stare at him. Before either could say a word, the ferris wheel started to come to a stop.

"It's time to get off." Niou said, moving her out of his lap.

"Y-yeah..."

Niou turned towards the door of the bucket, waiting for the wheel to come to a stop, while Hisame sat there, her finger tips to her lips. Only one thought passed through her head at that moment.

What the hell had that been!?

END

Kyandi: I like amusement parks that open in the winter.

Hisame: Yeah, but you don't feel the cold.

Kyandi: I do, it just has to be really, really cold.

Hisame: Not everyone prefers to freeze to death like you.

Kyandi: I'd rather be cold than hot.

Hisame: Why!?

Kyandi: Because you can always put on more to keep you warm...you can never take off enough to cool down.

Hisame: Alright, I see your point.

Kyandi: Good. Everyone please enjoy and review.

Hisame: We will return as soon as possible.

Kyandi: Bye-bye!
