Danny blew the smoke off his right index finger and sighed. He had just obliterated the remaining loyal forces of Aizen and those who surrendered to him but he knew would betray him when they would see the chance.
'Damn I really can't control my powers at all. Maybe I should use the null time void in between the worlds to wait for my powers to stabilize.', he thought as he looked at the half destroyed Las Noches.
He had simply backhanded a Adjucha that had tried to sneak up on him. The force behind the attack ripped the poor Hollow to dust and the remaining force pushed against the walls of Las Noches. The enormous building didn't stand a chance against the wave of pressure.
"That sounds like a reasonable idea but do you think that is safe? You could get us trapped in between the worlds.", Phantasma asked a bit afraid of being lost in the void.
'I have confidence in my sense of direction. I was never stuck in one place for to long before I found a way out.', Danny soothed the worries of his Zanpakuto spirit.
"I guess that I have to trust you man.", the spirit sighed and jumped into his hammock.
Danny only nodded and opened a Garganta. With a last look at the already rebuilding dome of Las Noches and jumped into the chaotic void. With light and silent steps he hushed over the small patches of solidified Reiatsu that he created as he ran. The reason he only created small perfectly round patches instead of a wide path was that he used it to refine his control over his Reiatsu. He already felt the time displacement and slowed down only to stop of a wider Reiatsu barrier. With a sigh he sat down with his legs crossed under him and put Phantasma into his lap.
'Let's get this done. We have to get to the Living World before Aizen breaks through the fake town.', he sighed and his eyes sharpened in concentration.

Danny's inner world

The hybrid opened his eyes and looked at the forest in front of him. In the corner of his eye he saw Phantasmas tent but he didn't bother to turn. His Zanpakuto spirit mirrored his his position and sat back to back to his master. The two began to balance the still growing and unstable Reiatsu inside the hybrid. A transparent mist with a light green tint began to fill the clearing. The mist began to thicken and the green became more prominent. Dannys and Phantasmas hair also began to to glow forming a hard contrast to the fast darkening Reiatsu around them. The mist began to dance around them in slow turns and formed a twister upwards. Hours turned into days as the amount of Reiatsu began to grow around them. Neon green wisps began to grow in Dannys slowly growing hair and his mask fragment began to dissolve to be replaced with a black tattoo of the mask fragment. Another day later the the mist began to dissipate.
"I can't feel my legs anymore.", Danny grumbled as he rubbed his numb legs.
"Stop your whining you big baby.", Phantasma sighed as he also rubbed his legs with one hand and ignited the pipe beside him before he took a breath.
"Simple for you to say. You're trained in the unmoving art for your rituals.", Danny grumbled as he stretched his legs before him.
"And I'm a part of you so you should also be.", the shaman shot back as he felt the high coming.
Danny stared at him with a deadpan expression but let it go. He had more important things to do right now.
"Guess I should leave it at that and turn my attention to the things at hand.", he muttered as he began to fade from his inner world.
"Do that bro. I'll hold the fort so long.", the shaman grinned like a fool as the first wave of his drugs got to him.

the Void

Danny opened his eyes and and stared into the endless chaotic void around him with apathetic eyes. His red eyes glowed like they were windows showing the ever burning flames of hell. He released a breath he didn't know he was holding and a cloud of concentrated Reiatsu escaped him.
"Guess I should get going or I won't be there before Aizen is.", he sighed as he stood up and slammed into a Reiatsu barrier above him.
With a yelp of surprise he held his head and looked up. Only then he noticed that instead of sitting on the same platform from before, he now sat inside a flat hemisphere.
"Strange. I don't remember forming a hemisphere to meditate. Guess my control went up along with my reserves.", he mused as he traced the barrier with his fingers.
With a light push against the barrier with his index finger he popped it and began to fall. With a quick twist of his body he stretched his legs and caught himself on another Reiatsu patch and started to run towards the real world using his Sonido. He closed the distance between the worlds in a matter minutes and a already opening Garganta awaited him. So without breaking his speed he rushed into the real world and created a dust rail behind him as he came to a sudden stop.
"So where are they?", the former Espada mused to himself as he extended his senses.
He felt two somewhat familiar souls in town and smiled. He knew just who they were and vanished towards them. He reappeared in front of a small clinic and smiled gently.
"Nice place you live at Ichi-chan.", Dan grinned and walked up to the door not bothering to hide his Hollow hole.
He gave the doorbell a soft push and heard a soft buzzing sound inside the house. He heard someone move towards the door and relaxed his stance with his hands in his pockets and a carefree smile on his face. The door was opened moments later by a young black haired girl. She gave him a annoyed look before she gasped and stumbled backwards. Danny only smiled gently.
"This is the Kurosaki residence isn't it?", he inquired calm not bothered by her behavior.
The girl only stared at him in shock before she regained her composure and put up a strong facade. Danny only smiled seeing her reaction. He knew a brave soul when he saw one. Without a second thought she threw a punch at him which he took without a twitch.
"Would I be right if I assumed that you're Kurosaki Karin? Ichi-chan said you were a little hothead.", the former Espada chuckled as her eyes grew wide as dinner plates seeing him not even twitching from her punch but also chuckle at her good hearted.
"How do you know Ichi-nii?", she growled hoping to come up with a plan while he talked.
"Your brother and I are comrades of sorts. Right now we may fight on different sides of the battlefield but we share the same goal.", the hybrid smiled and turned to look over his shoulder feeling familiar presences coming closer to town.
Presences he knew all to good which made him smile. Karin looked a bit disturbed at the informations she just got and his smile also rubbed her the wrong way.
"It seems like we are getting some company.", the hybrid muttered gently.
"What do you mean by that?", Karin growled as she readied herself to defend her home and sister.
"Don't worry. They are friends of mine and may seem a bit rough around the edges but they are fine people.", Dan turned to her knowing full well who was coming there.
Though he frowned when he felt a slightly familiar aura coming closer. It felt so lively yet so arctic cold like himself when he was alive.
'Could it be? Would she really endanger her just so she could meet me?', the man mused hoping that he could protect her from the madman.
A minute later a huge group of creatures appeared flying towards them. Karin felt her nervousness grow seeing more enemies appear at her front door.
"Karin? Who's at the door?", a young polite voice brought her out of her thoughts.
She whirled around seeing her sister walk up to her and the evil monster behind her. But before she could warn her Dan cut her to it.
"Hello. I am merely a friend of your brother Ichigo. My name is Phantom Daniel. Would I be right if I assumed you to be Kurosaki Yuzu?", Danny introduced himself with a polite bow to the short girl.
Yuzu stopped in mid step as she saw the hole in his chest and shivered in fright. But his polite behavior threw her for a loop.
"Don't trust him Yuzu.", Karin hissed to her hoping that the Hollow didn't hear her.
"I find that hardly fair Karin-chan. I only came here to help and protect this town and you from a madman along with your brother.", Danny whined and held his chest in mock pain.
Before either of the girls could comment his last statement the group of newcomers landed behind him. The girls eyes widened in shock and fear as they took in their appearances. There was a man that looked like a giant robot with a flaming green hair. Next to him stood a woman with red hair in a red business suit and a gentle smile on her face. The next two were obviously a coupe seeing how they clung together. One was a girl with green hair and a red leather jacket and the other was a man with blond greasy hair and a gray coat. The next one looked like a knight only that his head was encased in purple flames. Crouching on a wall behind the knight was a nerd like guy with big glasses. Beside him sat a bespectacled man with a goatee and a long coat. In the mid of the group stood a tall white man in a white business suit looking around grimly. Hugging him from behind was a busty green skinned woman with long black hair and a quite revealing outfit. A bit to the left stood a man with white hair that was seemingly messing with some kind of PDA only to receive a frown from a green skinned girl in a long blue dress and braided blond hair. Behind said girl was another obvious couple. The man had blue skin and wore a worker overall white the woman looked like a cook from a school cafeteria. Behind the whole group stood three massive beings. One of them was seemingly made of vines with a beak like mouth. To his right was a being that seemed to have been cut out of the nightly sky and had purple horns on its head. Completely to the left was a tall woman with four arms and a ancient armor. On her shoulder sat a little boy with a cowboy outfit and a cheeky grin on his face. The last members of the group were a blight blue skinned woman with hair made of blue flames bound in a low ponytail wearing a rocker outfit and a young child with the same blue skin but white flaming hair and a pair of blue jeans and a red blouse. The last two seemed to be mother and child from what it seemed and they stood near Danny with big smiles on their faces. Karin and Yuzu stared at the group in awe, fear and anger.
"I never thought that you all would come here to help me protect this town.", Danny smiled and hugged the woman beside him.
"You thought we would leave you to fight alone when we could have helped? Not a chance babypop!", the woman grinned and put her head against his chest.
The child looked in between them with a confused look on her face till something dawned on her. Her face brightened up into a very big toothy grin.
"DADDY!", she exclaimed and threw herself at her father.
The Kurosaki girls looked even more stunned then before as they watched the supposed monster hug the little girl with such passion and love.
"What's going on here?", Karin whispered to her sister.
"I think they have a family reunion.", Yuzu gave the three a warm smile.
"Oh how big my little girl has become. I can't believe what a beautiful daughter I have.", Danny laughed as he pressed her against his chest.
"You wanna cuddle little Diane here all day or do you want to fight?", Skulker grinned at his friend.
"Oh don't worry Skulker. I'm more then ready to fight and finally rid the worlds of Aizens existence once and for all. But it's a bliss to finally meet my second daughter. I've dreamed of this moment for so long.", Danny smiled wistful as he remembered the dreams he had of her since he came to the Seireitei.
"Daddy... fight?", Diane asked not really understanding the meaning of it.
"Yes. Daddy has to fight a evil man so everyone can stay safe.", Danny smiled down to her and stroked her flaming hair.
His daughter only looked up to him with big watery eyes but said nothing seeing as she was enjoying her fathers touch for the first time in her short life. She didn't understand what was going on but she knew it was something bad since her mommy, aunties and uncles looked so serious on their way here. It frightened her a bit since they were always so happy and friendly.
"So where's Frostbite?", Danny asked a bit confused.
"Oh the old yeti was to busy seeing as his clan just survived a serious case of ecto-pocks.", Spectra shrugged and straightened a few wrinkles in her skirt.
"Oh. Guess he will be busy for a few more weeks. I heard they took nearly a year to recover from the last outbreak.", the Hollow sighed before he turned to Yuzu and Karin.
"I know we don't really know each other but can I ask you two a favor?", he asked with a gentle smile.
"What do you want?", Karin huffed gaining a few displeased looks from the ghosts and from her sister.
"Could you two look after my daughter while we take care of Aizen? It would be reassuring to know that Ichi-chan's family would look after her seeing as I would trust him with my life.", Danny explained calm but serious knowing that he could trust Ichigo's family.
Before Karin could blow him off or make any kind of reply her sister beat her to it.
"We would love to take care of her. You're a friend of Ichi-nii after all.", the calm girl smiled and held out her hands to receive the child.
Ember threw her former boyfriend a worried look which he answered with a assuring one and faced his daughter.
"Listen Diane. Mommy, daddy, your aunties and uncles have to fight a really bad man now so you will stay safe with Karin-chan and Yuzu-chan till we get back okay?", he asked her in a gentle voice.
The child looked at him in worry but nodded slowly. Danny then kissed her on top of her head and handed her to Yuzu who smiled at the ghost child. Diane looked at her a bit confused before she looked at Karin. The scowl on the black haired girls face made her hide her face in Yuzus chest. The girl only smiled at the child and immediately felt protective of her. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw the dark look her sister gave the child and frowned a bit. The ghosts smiled at how protective the young human was.
"Come on let's get in position before Aizen makes a appearance. Youngblood you stay here and hide the Kurosaki residence with you ghost aura.", the former Primera ordered and everyone nodded.
Youngblood jumped off Pandora's shoulder and floated over to the Kurosaki girls.
"Hey there.", he waved with a big smile before he landed beside them and Diane grabbed his hand.
Karin only nodded with a neutral face having seen the dark look her sister gave her for being rude. Yuzu waved back and smiled.
"Come on let's go!", Danny ordered and they shot up in the air and towards the town center.
"Let's go inside and wait for them to come back.", Yuzu never lost her gentle smile as she walked ahead.
Karin threw the leaving group a last look before she followed the three into the house.

"Everyone get in position and be ready to release your aura. Aizen was already strong but he will continue to get stronger with each passing minute.", Danny yelled and pulled his Zanpakuto free.
With a few calm swings he got a feeling for his weapon and held it ready to attack immediately. The others followed his example and readied their weapons or powers. Minutes passed and nothing seemed to happen in the near future.
"So when does this Aizen guy show up?", Pointdexter asked confused.
Just then a Garganta opened in the sky and two figures stepped out of it. Aizen looked around with a shit eating grin till his eyes fell on Danny and snarled.
"Traitor!", he hissed and gained Gin's attention.
The ever smiling man had noticed the other beings surrounding them and knew that they would be trouble to deal with. Yet he didn't say anything.
"Hey there asshole.", Danny snarled back and took his fighting stance.
Aizen vanished in a Shunpo. Danny rose his blade whip and straightened it with his reiatsu forming a long spear to block the incoming attack. The weapons clashed with a loud clang and the teen looked at his enemy with boredom.
"Is that all you have? Is the Hôgyoku really that pathetic or is it you that is just to pathetic as its master?", he taunted and succeeded in making his enemy even more angry.
Gin only smiled as he saw what the Primera was trying to do and how Aizen was losing it because all his plans so far were null and void thanks to the Espada.
"What's wrong Aizen? Where is your godly strength.", Danny taunted as the ghosts pushed their aura out to shield the humans all around as much as they could seeing as Gin made no move to enter the fight.
Once again the sound of clashing steel filled the air as Danny toyed with his enemy though with each attack he felt Aizens strength grow.
'Ok now this starting to become annoying. If his strength continues to grow like that I'll have to call up my Resurrection just to entertain myself. I hope Ichigo gets here before he gets to much annoying for me.', the young man mused as he sidestepped another attack.
"Babypop is even more powerful now then he was back then. It's like day and night if you compare it.", Ember smiled as she began to feel a slight drain of her reserves by shielding the town from Aizens power.
"The boy has become a formidable man in the short time he has been a Shinigami. I knew that he was dedicated for high things.", Fright Knight laughed as he watched the teen use his usual banter to get a rise from the madman.
"I can't believe how much he's changed. He must have went through some brutal training to get a body like that.", Johnny eyed his longtime friend with a smirk.
"He sure did. You see how is handling his weapon? He has mastered it to a extent that only a true master could.", Dora smiled as she saw how Danny used the lessons one of her knights had given him back then.
Dannys ability with staff like weapons were unmatched even in her kingdom but she knew that it was not the true form of his weapon. A blade whip was a very dangerous and hardly predictable tool to handle. A slight miscalculation during a swing and it could wound, cripple or even kill the user. She had said weapon in her castles weapon vault but no one dared to use it in actual combat even if they were ghosts.
"Yes the boy has become a fine warrior. He would have made a fine king for our kind.", Nocturne grinned as he extended his aura to support the weakening one of Pointdexter.
Gin listened to the ghosts conversation and began to make himself his own opinion on he former Espada. The young man was powerful and noble no doubt but was it enough to defeat Aizen? A sudden crash caught his attention. A smoking crater had formed in the street below causing the people around to panic as they finally noticed that something was going on. A figure stood in the crater and dusted himself off as he sighed. Aizen was getting stronger faster then he had anticipated.
"Hey! Who are you?", a female voice behind him called.
Danny looked over his shoulder to watch the speaker. It was a slender but well built teenage girl with short black hair and a clear tomboy attitude. Behind were two average looking guys.
'She must be that Tatsuki girl Ichigo talked about. And the other two must also be friends of his.', he mused.
"Hey I asked you a question!", she yelled a bit pissed.
"And I'm thinking about an answer while also keeping an eye on the guy that wants to destroy your town.", he explained monotone as he made a upward slash with his whip and send a Reiatsu wave at Aizen.
The man simply backhanded the attack but was unprepared for the compressed energy in back of the attack that send him flying.
"Listen I don't have time to deal with you right now. You can ask all your questions once Aizen is dead and buried.", Danny growled and took his whip in reverse grip as the three gasped at his words.
'I've got no choice. Aizen is getting to strong to fast. I'll actually have to use it to hold him down till Ichigo gets here.', he thought as he concentrated his Reiatsu into his sword.
"Sing , Phantasma!". He called out and his figure was engulfed in black and green energy.
Danny roared as he transformed. The shroud around him exploded and send the three teens to the floor. The ghost, the teens and Gin looked at the former Espadas released form. Gin whistled because he had never seen it before in Huenco Mundo since the Primera never considered to use it. Dannys whole body was now covered in white scales with a red V cut going from his shoulders down to just above his crotch. His shoulders, elbows, wrists, crotch, knees and ankles were covered in thick light yellow bone armor. From between his shoulder blades a sharp looking white tail with red tips and a long spear head grew out. It looked like his blade whip just sharper and the blades seemed to be longer. His fingers had turned into deadly claws with three short blade like extensions coming from his forearm. The lower part of his face was covered in a multi-pieced bone mask that looked like it could move if he wanted it to. Blue and red pulsating tribal motives glowed on his arms, legs, around his Hollow hole and in the rifts between the small bones of his mask. The released Espada looked at Aizens shocked expression as he came back to the scene before he vanished in a Sonido and reappeared behind the traitorous Shinigami.
'Song of Destruction Act II.', the teen thought and two thumb wide bones on the front of his mask shifted to the side so he could open his mouth a bit.
A noise that reminded everyone of someone being tortured the worst ways possible came from him. Aizen got hit by the sound waves and was send flying again. The traitor screamed in pain but the noise was to loud for anyone to hear him. Blood began to trail out his nose, ears and eyes. Even though the attack wasn't aimed at them the people and ghosts all around the area covered their ears and squirmed in pain. The song ended soon and everyone sighed in relief. The mask closed itself up again.
"You know that wail of yours is just as bad as I remember it to be.", a male voice behind the Espada whined.
Danny turned around and came face to face with tall orange haired teen with longer shaggy hair and a sleeveless black coat. His eyes now spoke of determination instead of fear. His Zanpakuto had also changed. Zangetsu was connected to his arm by a black glove and the former short chain at the bottom of the handle was wrapped around his arm up to his shoulder.
"Looks good on you man. You look more mature now.", Danny stated simply as the pieces of his mask moved ever so slightly.
"This is your Resurrection?", Ichigo asked as he rose a eyebrow at his friends body.
"The one and only.", the Lieutenant shrugged and rolled his right shoulder.
"So wanna kick some traitor ass?", he asked with a evil glint in his eyes.
"You can bet on that.", Ichigo laughed and sidestepped just as Aizen shot past them blinded by his rage.
"Let's get this fight out of town so we won't endanger the people here.", Danny suggested as he looked at the hard breathing people around them.
Ichigo only nodded and the two made a double spin kick. They hit the incoming Aizen right in the chest barely missing the Hôgyoku and send him hurling out of town towards a isolated uninhabited area a few miles away. Ichigo shot off to follow the traitor to ensure that he didn't come right back.
"You stay here and rest!", Danny called to his friends and vanished in a Sonido crushing the concrete under him in the process.
The ghosts slumped together suffering under the drain of their powers.
"Go get him babypop!", Ember smiled weakly before she fell unconsciousness.
