I'm so sorry for now updating this story in sooo long. I had the worst writer's block and couldn't think of anything to write.
I will try to update more frequently, but I am in college now and life is very busy with all the homework that I get.
The next day, Regina ventures out to the pub to talk to Robin. After all she did promise Annabelle that she'd at least go and talk to the man, so that's what she's do. Even though she didn't really want to, she knew that Annabelle, Isabella, and Henry would never give up their little operation.
Upon arriving at the pub, Regina takes a deep breath, "Here goes nothing." She whispers to herself. Then she walks into the pub, goes to the pub counter and order orders a beer. She takes her beer and sits down by Robin.
"Hey. I'm Regina Mills." Regina introduced as she extended her hand out to him. She dressed in peasants clothes so no one recognized her as her former self (aka The Evil Queen).
Robin looks up and extends his hand to her, "Robin. Robin Locksley."
"It's nice to meet you, Robin." Regina replied with a friendly smile
Robin smiled back, "Likewise, Regina."
Meanwhile with Annabelle, Isabella, and Henry, who in the library at their castle.
"So how do you think it's going with my mom and Robin Hood?" Henry asked
Annabelle shrugged, "I don't know."
"Getting your one true love isn't easy, Henry." Isabella added "You've read Snow and Charming's story. You know this as well as I do."
Henry nodded, "I know."
"So they might not even know after this meeting that they are each other's true love." Isabella replied
Henry gave a sigh, "I know, Bella. I just want my mom to be happy."
Annabelle hugged Henry, "She will be, Hen. Eventually, she will."
"Annie's right, Hen. Everything is going to work out in the end." Isabella assured
Henry nodded, "Can we go stand outside the pub and wait for my mom to see how everything went?"
"Of course." Annabelle and Isabella told him as they spoke at the same time.
Back with Regina and Robin in the pub.
"So tell me about yourself?" Regina requested
Robin pursed his lips and shrugged, "Um there's not much to tell."
"I'm sure that's not true." Regina stated
Robin sighed, "Okay well I'll tell my story if you tell yours. Does that sound like a fair trade? Story for a story?"
"Okay, but you first." Regina agreed
Robin took a deep breath, "Well...my wife Marian and the mother of my child was killed last year. My son is two and I know that he'll never know his mother. I started coming here after my wife died. It hurts me knowing that he'll grow up without his mother and it's my fault."
"How?" Regina wondered
Robin sighed, "Marian and I were out helping the poor by taking from the rich. She was caught and then later executed."
Regina nodded, "I'm sorry." Then she asked, "Why aren't you at home with your son?"
Robin shrugged his shoulders, "He's alright. He's with my Merrymen. They're like my brothers."
"You should still be home with your son. He already lost his mother. He needs his father." Regina told him. Then she added, "I have a son too, and I would do anything do be with him right now."
Robin furrowed his eyebrows, "Is his father keeping him from you?"
"Something like that." Regina replied "My son is much older than yours though. He's twelve, and he knows how much I love him. You should be home with your son showing him how much you love him. You need to love him enough for both you and his mother."
"Alright I told my story." Robin spoke changing the topic. Then he asked, "Now what brings you here?"
Regina shook her head and laughed slightly, "You'll think I'm nuts."
"Try me." Robin told her
Regina took a breath, "Just my son and his crazy twin cousins who are also twelve years old. They think that you're my true love." She laughed.
Robin laughed along with her, "That's crazy."
"I know, right?" Regina replied "I mean, it's ridiculous. I already had my true love and he died many years ago. Daniel...Daniel was his name."
Robin gave a sad smile, "I'm sorry."
Regina shook her head, "It's okay. It happened a lot time ago."
"I'm sure it still hurts though. Even if it's only a little bit." Robin said
Regina nodded, "Is that why you are here drinking instead of being with your son?"
"Just leave it alone!" Robin told her "As a matter of fact you can just leave!"
"Fine. I will." Regina replied before storming out of the pub.
When Regina is outside, she is shocked to see three children standing in front of her.
"Geez!" Regina jumped slightly "You nearly gave me a heartache."
"So how'd it go?" Isabella wondered
Regina sighed, "Don't you three ever give up."
"No. Never." Annabelle replied as she shook her head
"But mom, you didn't answer Bella's question." Henry stated
Regina took a breath, "It didn't go well. He...he was..uh resistant. I tried to tell you it was impossible."
"No. It's not. You can't give up." Isabella told Regina
"Just stop. You tried and I admire that, but I need you to stop now." Regina insisted before storming off
Annabelle sighed, "We can't give up on her. We have to give her, her happy ending."
"Agreed." Henry responded
"We won't give up. We will never give up." Isabella added
Annabelle smiled suddenly, "And I think I have a plan."
