September
The showers had gone off without a hitch and now that fall was in full swing and the girls were only two months away from delivery, their hormones were a bit unstable. And the men knew that and had been managing to appease their ever changing minds.
"So we'll be there shortly." Blossom said over the phone and grabbing her keys.
"You sure you want to take your car and not the limo?" Brick asked, looking away from his desk. He had been splitting his work at home so he could help out Blossom whenever she needed.
"Yes, I'm sure." Blossom said with a sigh as she walked on. Brick stood. She was going to be stubborn again, and he would let her win sometimes, but her attitude was a little snippy. Her sisters were the same, as was evident by the small storm brewing outside when this morning was clear and sunny. Bubbles was always one to show her emotions first. All three girls were walking out to their cars and got in.
"Have fun." Butch said as Buttercup gunned the engine and peeled out, her sisters driving off.
"The wonders of pregnant woman hormones." Boomer said sarcastically.
"Well, we've lived thus far, I'm sure we can survive another two months." Brick chuckled.
"Yeah, but their hormones seem to be even more out of whack than usual because of their pregnancy." Butch said.
"True. And knowing how they are, they wouldn't call even if they did need some help." Brick sighed.
"Their friends will." Boomer replied.
"Yeah, so I guess we just go back to our work and wait how things pan out." Brick said as they entered their manor.
"Bloss, you know he just cares about you." Robin said as the parked at the mall.
"Yeah, but he just seems so bossy and clingy, like he doesn't want me to go anywhere or do anything without me first telling him." Blossom ranted as they met up with her sisters and friends.
"Really, how so?" Lexi asked. The girls explained – over exaggerated – the events of today and their friends rolled their eyes in discreet.
"I think what they were hinting at is that you guys seem a little emotional today and they didn't want you driving because you could hurt others or yourselves." Lexi said.
"Sounds reasonable to me." Joan said.
"Whose side are you on?" Buttercup growled.
"The side that keeps my friend and her babies safe." Joan replied, knowing that both Buttercup and Butch wanted to keep the twins safe.
"But I want to go out and do things, whereas Butch would just be happy with me staying home all day." Buttercup snarled, earning nods from her sisters.
"No, they know you guys about as well as you know yourselves, they just want you to be careful when you go out." Robin said calmly. The girls calmed down and had thought over what Robin had said as they went around the mall. Deedee had met up with them and they all continued walking around.
"Someone call the circus, the elephants escaped." A nasally voiced called out. Had the girls not been on a hormone high, they would've just ignored Mandy, Brandy and Princess, but they were hormonal.
"Oh fuck off you silicon sluts." Bubbles hissed, the sky going almost pitch black outside the sky-light.
"Whatever. So Bubbles, quick question for you." Brandy said, noticing Bubbles hormonal situation. All three divas got the same wicked idea.
"What?" Bubbles said.
"Actually a question for all three of you." Princess added deviously. Deedee somehow knew what they were going to say.
"Ok, that's just low." Deedee snarled.
"What's just low?" Mandy asked innocently.
"Don't play innocent." Deedee growled.
"Shut up stupid and let us talk." Princess growled. Deedee backed off, but she was ready to convince the girls otherwise of what the three girls were about to say.
"How do you know that your wonderful fiancé isn't giving me a good time when you're asleep or not around?" all three divas asked.
"Please, that would be absolutely ridiculous, only desperate fools go after you three walking infections." Robin laughed. The girls though, remained silent. They knew the boys worked a lot and that they weren't extremely active, but the men insisted that they were ok with it, that after the deliveries the honeymoon would be enough, and that they could wait again, after all, they had gone three or so years inactive before they met the girls again. Yet, in their hormonal state of mind, all of that flew out the window. Robin, Lexi, Joan and Deedee all walked with the girls out of the mall while the three divas smirked.
"Teach those bitches to take the three hottest bachelors away from us." Mandy giggled.
"Blossom, don't even think that Brick would do Princess, not even drunk. Has he ever shown signs of it?" Robin argued, though she got no response.
"Buttercup, calm down. I don't think he'd touch Mandy with a ten foot pole." Joan said as Buttercup wove through traffic.
"Bubbles please think rationally. We all saw how Boomer scowled every time Brandy even got near him or looked at him. I don't think he would do her." Lexi said.
"Lexi's right." Deedee said. They dropped off their friends without a word and sped home. Slamming the doors – though not with enough force to break the door – they walked inside and found the three men in the living room, laptops out and typing away at work.
"Have fun?" Brick asked as he looked up to see all three girls looked very much pissed off. What? Brick asked mentally before elbowing each brother.
"Nothing." Blossom growled before stomping off to their room, her sisters following. They looked to each other, nodded, and then got up saved what they had, and followed the girls.
"Quit following me!" Bubbles hissed, shooting lightning at Boomer and his brothers; they dodged behind a corner. They waited until they heard the doors slam before they moved. Butch walked down the hall to his room and opened the door, knowing that a whirlwind of emotions was going to greet him. Boomer walked to the room and quickly zipped inside and Brick flew to his room. Whatever was upsetting them, they were upset at the men.
Reds
"Blossom." Brick said, seeing her sitting on the bed.
"Go away." Blossom groaned.
"Not until you tell me what I did to piss you off." Brick said. Blossom turned towards him, her eyes wet with tears.
"Brick, have you cheated on me?" Blossom asked, watching as Brick's eyebrows shot up with surprise at the allegation.
"No. Who said something that stupid?" Brick said sincerely, though Blossom didn't catch it.
"Have you cheated on me with Princess?" Blossom asked.
"No. Who said that?" Brick asked. Blossom continued to ignore his questions.
"Would you mind if I looked through your mind for at the last few months' memories to make sure?" Blossom asked.
"No, I wouldn't mind." Brick said.
"See, someone that didn't have…wait…what?" Blossom said, confused.
"I said you can go through my head, if it'll make you feel better. There's a catch, you gotta tell me who told you something as ridiculous as me cheating on you, the most perfect woman in the world, with Princess the slut." Brick said, taking the opportunity to sit down next to her. Blossom nodded and then began to look through all of Brick's memories, even the ones that took place while she was asleep or away and found nothing, absolutely nothing; she even did a double sweep and found the exact same memories, knowing that he wasn't manipulating what she saw. She now felt incredibly stupid and started to cry. This Brick was used to and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close.
"Now who got you all riled up today?" Brick asked.
"Oh I'm an idiot for believing Princess." Blossom sobbed. Brick rolled his eyes; he should've known that Princess would do that.
"You're not an idiot, you're hormonal. There is a difference." Brick chuckled, kissing her forehead.
"Forgive me?" Blossom said.
"Blossy, you didn't do anything wrong. But if it makes you feel better, I forgive you." Brick chuckled as she let out a sigh of relief.
"I should've known that she was just talking out her ass with that accusation. I'm sorry for even listening to her." Blossom said, now annoyed with herself.
"Tell you what, I'll spend the rest of the day with you, work can wait, I mean, I own the place so it can wait a few hours." Brick said.
"But you'll have to stay up late." Blossom said.
"Tomorrow is Sunday, I have plenty of time." Brick chuckled as he stood and helped her up.
"Ok." Blossom said.
"If you want, we can even go in your car." Brick said.
"No, I feel kind of emotionally exhausted to drive." Blossom said.
"Ok, so…wanna go rub it in Princess's face?" Brick asked.
"Duh." Blossom giggled before they left the room.
Blues
Boomer dodged another lightning bolt from Bubbles.
"Bubbles, can't we talk?" Boomer asked.
"Why, so you can lie to me?" Bubbles growled, shooting lasers at him.
"No, so I know what I did that pissed you off." Boomer said, floating up to miss getting hit. Bubbles calmed down.
"Fine, let's talk about you cheating on me." Bubbles said.
"What?" Boomer asked, appalled by her accusation.
"You heard me." Bubbles snarled.
"Yes, but who the fuck told such a ridiculous idea?" Boomer asked, floating down next to her.
"Answer my questions and I might answer yours." Bubbles hissed.
"Ok." Boomer said.
"See…wait, did you say ok?" Bubbles said with shock.
"Yeah." Boomer said, confused. Bubbles allowed her electrostatic abilities that came with her whether controlling powers to flow out and bounce off of Boomer.
"Have you ever cheated on me?" Bubbles asked, her abilities locking onto Boomer's heart rate.
"No." Boomer said, his heart beating steadily, indicating that he was telling the truth.
"Have you cheated with me on Brandy?" Bubbles asked.
"No." Boomer said, Bubbles getting the same reading. She began to shake and then started to cry, Boomer caught her as she lost her balance.
"Who said such ridiculous things?" Boomer asked.
"Princess and Brandy." Bubbles whimpered.
"And you believed them?" Boomer asked with a hint of humor in his tone.
"Not really, but my hormones are all crazy." Bubbles whimpered.
"Understandable." Boomer said.
"Sorry." Bubbles hiccupped.
"You're forgiven." Boomer said, even though he believed she had nothing to be sorry about, he knew she would be upset until she knew she was forgiven. Bubbles smiled up at him.
"Thanks." Bubbles said.
"No problem. I'll spend the rest of the day with you so we can rub Brandy's nose in it." Boomer said with a wicked smirk. Bubbles nodded and soon they were out of their room.
Greens
Moment Butch entered their room; something was hurled towards his head. Luckily, he ducked.
"What did I do?" Butch asked. Before either knew what happened, Butch had Buttercup pinned on their bed, her wrists secure and there was a red hand mark on his face.
"Repeat that please." Butch said in a serious tone.
"I said you've cheated on me haven't you?" Buttercup spat, before noticing Butch's surprised and slightly hurt expression.
"Never, what the fuck would make you think that?" Butch asked.
"Because we haven't been very active since I got pregnant." Buttercup growled.
"It's been two months, big whoop." Butch said blandly.
"Whatever." Buttercup hissed.
"Who pissed you off today?" Butch asked, still holding her wrists.
"Have you ever cheated on me Butch?" Buttercup asked, ignoring his questions. He was about to point it out, but seeing as how she was in that mindset, anything he said would be counted as avoiding the question, which would make him seem guilty. Knowing he had to go along with her until she was calmed down and not in the mood to kill he looked her in the eyes.
"No." Butch said clearly and calmly.
"Not even with Mandy." Buttercup stated.
"Never. I have never cheated on you BC. There's no other woman for me that's more perfect for me than you." Butch said, knowing how she'd sometimes soften up if he put on the charm. He saw her eyes soften and knew it was working.
"Why?" Buttercup whispered.
"Simple, I only love you." Butch said sincerely. He could feel her muscles relax and saw her visibly calm down.
"How can you still say that?" Buttercup said. She was being more vulnerable than Bubbles, and that was new to him.
"Because it's true." Butch said.
"I'm huge though." Buttercup said.
"You're not huge, you're pregnant. Besides, I still think you're sexy as hell. Perfect in every way and beautiful beyond compare." Butch said, catching her blush.
"So who the fuck told you I was cheating on you with Mandy?" Butch asked.
"Princess." Buttercup mumbled. Butch pulled her close for a hug, trying not to smirk at her hormones.
"I wouldn't even breathe in the same room as Mandy if that was the only area where there was clean oxygen." Butch chuckled, kissing her forehead. Buttercup chuckled at his reply and suddenly felt better.
"Sorry for being so stupid." Buttercup said.
"You're forgiven, even though I'm not mad, I know how you are." Butch chuckled.
"Wanna go rub it in her arrogant pig face?" Buttercup asked.
"I love you even more when you show you sadistic side." Butch chuckled darkly before they paraded out of their room and drove off with their sibling just ahead of them.
At Mall
"They looked ready to cry when they left." Brandy giggled.
"And knowing them, they'll go home and be mad at their significant others, who will get mad at them, and then poof, engagement ruined. Told you my plan would work, like usual." Princess boasted loudly. Not only had Mandy and Brandy been in on it, but other girls were just dying to see if it worked, because they would all be in line for a turn with the boys.
"Wow, you were relying on us getting pissed off enough to dump them? Yeah, real full proof plan." A cynical voice chuckled. All the girls looked up to see Brick, Boomer and Butch floating there, their fiancées nowhere to be seen.
"I see it worked." Princess said with a seductive grin.
"No, it didn't, they had to go to the ladies room." Boomer said.
"Cause carrying twins can cause them to have to pee twice as much." Butch added as he lazily hovered there.
"You've gotta be lying. You're just playing with us." Mandy said, eying Butch, making him shudder in disgust. Just as Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup walked into sight some guy ran by them and grabbed Buttercup's purse.
"Oh you have got to be kidding me?" Buttercup growled, but before she could even move, Butch had already beaten her to it.
"James Arlan, so nice to see you." Butch chuckled, lifting up the man and floating back over to Buttercup.
"I was going to give you the money sir." James said.
"You in essence stole from me." Butch said.
"How?" James asked.
"The woman you just stole from is my fiancé, so I suggest you hand the purse back to her." Butch said. James handed the purse back to Buttercup.
"Remember, your payment is due in a week." Butch chuckled as he dropped him and watched him run.
"Brick, mental note, raise the bastard's interest rate." Butch said as he waited for Buttercup to start floating. Her sisters followed.
"Planned on it." Brick chuckled as Blossom hovered over to him and gripped his hand. The other two girls did the same and Princess and company simple stared in awe.
"How?" all of them asked.
"We work with people who can be emotional and slightly irrational on a daily basis. We sat down and talked to them, calmed them down, and explained that we wouldn't sleep with cheap ass whores like you, we have no need to. We have perfect women, so why sleep with women that could never amount to them?" Brick stated. It was then that Princess could not come up with a witty remark, except try to prove that the girls weren't perfect, but knew chances of that were slim to none. Princess watched as they flew off, glaring daggers at them as they did.
"Well what now?" Mandy asked.
"I have another idea, one last shot." Princess said with a grin.
Gotta love drama huh? Anyway, I know I left that open, but that was the point. Another double update next week, I hope, I plan on at least. Anyway, R&R please and thank you.
