"I see. So the fragment I got is actually Excalibur Rapidly." Vince said with a small nod.
[Yes, but what are you going to do with it?] Shin asked raising an eyebrow.
"Store it. I have no intention of letting anyone from the Three Factions have it. Unless the circumstances change." He replied seriously.
{Good plan, considering that you can't really make it into a weapon without alchemy and even if we did know how to use alchemy, people will notice.} Amaya stated as she sighed.
"Just knowing that niether faction can't get their hands on the fragment is good enough for me. Besides, if the church decides to send an exorcist to find me because of my holy energy and the Yawarakai-Te, I can always use the fragment as a bargaining chip and threaten to damage it beyond repair." Vince answered in a nonchalant tone.
{You should call Yasaka, Vince-kun. I think she might want to learn about you releasing the Yawarakai-Te. Besides, you did mention you would call her sometime.} Amaya said to him.
"Point taken." He replied as he dialed his cellphone.
After a few minutes later Vince spoke up as he heard a voice from the other line. "Hello, Yasaka. It's me Vince."
"Good evening Vince, how are you?" Yasaka asked over the phone.
"I'm okay. How are you and Kunou?" He asked curiously.
"We're both doing well. But we heard about Kokabiel's betrayal, is everything okay over there?" She asked in a concerned tone.
Vince sighed and then went on to explain what happened yesterday. "And from there the Vanishing Dragon picked up Kokabiel and his follower Freed, after I removed his arm."
"Oh my. That was quite dangerous Vince, but I am reliefed to hear you are safe." Yasaka said with a sigh of relief.
"Yeah, sorry for using the Yawarakai-Te, though." He said.
"It's okay, you were going to have to use it sooner or later. But I am glad that was able to help you when, you needed it." She answered kindly.
Vince scratched his cheek embrassingly, "Thanks, anyway. I have to go to sleep soon. Take care Yasaka."
"You two, goodnight Vince." Yasaka said as she hung up the phone.
Vince turned off his phone as his eye twitched after seeing Amaya's grin. "What?"
{You totally have a crush on her. When are you going to make your move?} She asked with a teasing grin.
(Not this crap again...) He thought as he facepalmed.
[Anyway, I believe now is the time to tell you about our origins Vince.] Shin called out.
Vince immediately turned serious as spoke, "Does it have to do with your moniker and how those two overgrown lizards, know you?"
{Haha! Overgrown lizards, I know that would have stung if they heard that.} Amaya said with an amused smile.
[As amusing as it is, we believe you should know now. This should clear up any questions you have about us Vince.] Shin stated.
"Okay."
[Before we go on to explain the origins of us, you need to know how the Noise were created originally... It happened during the Great War, the negative emotions gathered from the war is how Noise were created.] Shin explained with a sigh.
{From there it went all to hell. The three factions had to deal with each other, Ddraig and Albion, along with Noise. It really was a free-for-all.} Amaya commented.
Shin and Amaya raised the sleeves on their shirts to show a long black marking on their arms. The two put lowered their sleeves as Amaya spoke up, {This the reason why we know so much about the Noise and the Great War. Amaya and I are Noise.}
[Amaya is known as the Noise of Possibility and I'm known as the Noise of Adaptability. Ever since we were born, we've been fighting.} Shin answered in a melachonic tone.
"..."
{We used to be mindless like the other Noise but after devouring a certain amount of people, we've developed a mind and conscious. From there we started to evolve and become sentient.} Amaya said.
[Back then we only cared about each other. The other factions tried to destroy us because they thought we were dangerous and we were. One by one, we devoured our enemies. Angels, Devils, Fallen-Angels, Magicians, Humans you name it.] Shin answered as he sighed.
{We gained so much from devouring our enemies. It's also the reason why Shin-kun and I are so good in our respective areas, because we gained their knowledge after we killed and devoured them.} Amaya stated.
[One of our most notorious incidents labeled us as dangerous, we actually were able to devour a high class Devil from each of their clans before they went extinct. Even one of Rias' ancestors.] Shin said as he recalled the day.
"But how exactly did you accomplish something like that? It seems a bit unbelieveable." He asked sceptically.
{It was when it was a three-way battle between the three factions. We infiltrated their capital and devoured every injured Devil we could find. By the time the Maou already found out, we already left. We really gained a lot of power and knowledge that day.} Amaya said cheerfully, causing Vince to sweatdrop.
[Moving on. From their we targeted the Fallen-Angels when they were weakened and then the Angels.] Shin said to him.
Vince nodded at the explanation, "That's actually pretty smart. But how did you two gain your monikers?"
{For Shin-kun, he got his title "Noise of Adaptability" from his ability. You see, Shin-kun can devour any energy that's sent at him and use it against them, along with the adaptability trait you have Vince-kun. As for me, my possibility trait allowed me to preform feats that most sees as impossible. For example, with the expection of Shin-kun, only I can use gravity magic properly. A magician tried to use it but he killed himself by accident when it backfired.} Amaya explained in a informative tone.
"Okay. But how did both you get so good at technology and how did Shin get learn so much information with weapons?" He asked curiosly.
[I can answer that. Amaya devoured multiple members of Grigori that specialized in technology and I devoured people that were extremely skilled at weilding weapons.] Shin answered calmly.
{After a while of devouring we decided to wait until the war calmed down before resurfacing. At that time, we didn't care about devouring anymore. We just wanted to settle down. But before we could, we were confronted by God and his two brats, Gabriel and Micheal.} Amaya answered bitterly.
[It was definitely the toughest fight we've been in. But we lost after sustaining to much damage and we were exhausted. That's not to say we didn't go down without a fight. We were able to incapacitate Micheal and Gabriel, but God used this opportunity to seal us in blank Sacred Gears.} Shin spoke sighing.
{Shin-kun shoved me out of the way as he was sealed. I was sealed right after though.} Amaya said sadly.
[From there we were sealed and as we already told you, we used our powers to make the Sacred Gears into our liking. God noticed it and got upset that we were able to, he tried to change it back, but failed. So after that we were labeled forbidden Sacred Gears and sealed away because of our abilities and what we did to the blank Sacred Gears.] Shin stated.
"And yet, you're here. Does it have to do with God kicking the bucket?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow.
{Yeah, once he died we took advantage of it and the rest is history.} Amaya spoke.
"Huh. This explains a lot of things." He muttered to himself.
{Do you hate us for being Noise, Vince-kun? I wouldn't blame you, we are the reason why everything has happened to you.} Amaya said in a sad tone.
Vince folded his arms in response, "You should already know by now that, I'm not the type to judge a person by their past actions. Besides, you two have been watching over me for a long time. I can't forget that."
{Thank you Vince-kun. That means a lot to us.} Amaya spoke with a smile.
[Thanks for understanding Vince.] Shin replied with a small smile.
"So, just one question. It's something that I noticed, how come is it that other people or Devils can't see Noise with the exception of Taboo Noise?" He asked seriously.
{God created a parallel plane of existence in the world that only he himself can see. It's basically a boundary line. One side contains all of the Noise, the other side is were you're at right now. Taboo Noise are able to make a small ripple through the boundary line and come out. Amaya and I are the only Noise that learned how to go through the boundary line without any complication. As for you, whenever you scan a Noise, you are taken from into the parallel plane. It's the reason why no one notices the battle or the Noise. The only exception is that someone is near you and you can a Noise, both you and the person or people will be able to go into the boundary line.} Amaya explained in a lecturing tone.
"Damn. That explains so much, especially why Sona hasn't said anything about the Noise." Vince commented in a surprised tone.
[Also. Be sure not to mention about the boundary line unless it's necessary. It'll cause some problems if people learn about it.] Shin said shaking his head.
(Just like how people learning about God dieing will cause a panic.) He thought rolling his eyes.
[One last thing you should know. Your pin capacity increased to five after the battle with Kokabiel.] Shin spoke with a small smirk.
"That's good to know, but I had a feeling that would happen. Considering Kokabiel is a powerful opponent, an idiot but powerful." Vince commented as he ran a hand though his hair.
{It's kind of late Vince-kun. You should get some sleep.} Amaya suggested.
"Yeah. Besides, I have a few things to do tommorow. Good night." He said closing his eyes.

(Afternoon: Home)
Vince ran a hand through his hair in irratation, (Today was a bit hard.)
Amaya sighed as she spoke, {You know that you can't keep avoiding the other members of the Occult Research Club for long, right?}
"I know that. But I really don't want to talk to them now, I just finished fighting off Kokabiel. I do want a little break." He said to him.
[Well, how about for now you focus on creating new pins? You do have three empty slots.] Shin suggested.
"Yeah." Vince closed his eyes for a few minutes, before opening them. "Okay I know which pins to create now. The first one is a pin that increases my power, speed and reaction time in a pinch."
[Okay, I got the information and the name?] Shin asked as typed in the information.
"Adrenaline Soul."
[All done. The only drawback of the pin is that, it will only activate when your energy is below 75%] Shin warned as the pin popped out of the PET.
Vince pocketed the pin and smirked, "That's good enough for me."
{Is that to act as counter for Albion's host?} Amaya asked curiously.
"It's not just for him, it's also incase I face someone stronger than me. I'm pretty sure they won't be excepting something like this." He answered.
[Good enough, and the second pin?] Shin asked him.
"It's a pin that uses a technique from a game I like to play." Vince answered as he typed in the information in his PET.
[Alright and the name?]
"Super Peel Out."
[Okay, everything is set up now.] Shin said as a pin popped out from the PET.
Vince pocketed his two pins typed on his PET, a few seconds later a pin popped out as he quickly pocketed it. (This is good enough for me. I know have my Esuna pin just incase I get poisoned for something.)
{Well, I got some good news Vince-kun.} Amaya called out.
"Really?"
{Yeah, I'm almost done with the sniper-scythe. I just need a day to finish it.} Amaya said with a smile.
"That's good to know." He replied with a small smile.
[You should get going to bed right now. You have to go to school tommorow, from there we can go to Shibuya and look for Kasumi.] Shin stated.
"Fine. But you to do realize they'll want an explanation about you two, right?" Vince asked raising an eyebrow.
{At this point, we really don't care. So go ahead and explain if you want to.} Amaya answered with a shrug.
(Next Day: Lunch)
Vince sat on down on the edge of the roof as he started at his katana, (Heh. As long as I have the ofuda removed, this should keep the others away.)
"Ara. So that's where you've been Vince-kun." A voice spoke up.
"Shouldn't you be with Rias, Akeno?" He asked raising an eyebrow.
"Buchou wanted me to tell you to come to the clubroom today. She has an important annoucement and everyone has been worried about you." She said with a smile.
Vince however snorted, "I'm pretty sure it's because everyone is curious but me having Masamune's sword."
Akeno shook her head, "Everyone is curious about that. But, everyone is worried about why you have been avoiding us, especially Rias."
Vince got up from the edge of the roof, "Fine. Since it's important, I'll be there."
"By the way, Vince-kun. How is your wound?" She asked in a slightly worried tone.
"It's fine. The hole Kokabiel made is gone." He said lifting up his shirt to show her.
Akeno smiled and hugged Vince, making sure to press her breasts up against his chest. "Ufufu, maybe I should check more throughly to make sure it's completely healed."
Vince rolled his eyes, "Really? During lunch?"
"We're all alone on the roof, Vince-kun." She said leaning closer to him.
"Good to know." He replied already knowing what she had in mind.
Akeno leaned in and kissed him in the lips, Vince closed his eyes and deepened the kiss between them. (Her lips are soft.)
A few minutes later the two pulled apart with as Akeno blushed a little, "Ara. That was a good kiss."
The bell sounded off as Vince walked away with a small smirk and a small blush, "You got that right, Akeno."
(ORC: Clubroom) (Play Persona 3 Ost: Troubled)
Vince raised an eyebrow as he saw Xenovia in the clubroom, wearing a kuoh school uniform. (Wait. Don't tell me...)
"Wh...Why, are you here!?" Issei shouted in shock.
Two black wings grew out of Xenovia's back as she spoke, "I found out that God is gone. So I turned into a Devil as a self-abandonment. I received a "Knight" piece from Rias Gremory. It seems like I'm not that great, while Durandal is. So I was able to become a devil with one piece. And I was also placed in this school. From now on, I'm a second year student and also a member of the Occult Research Club. Let's get along, Issei-kun."
Vince held back a laugh as he Issei started at her, "...Don't make such a cute sound with a serious voice."
"I copied Irina, but it looks like it's not easy." Xenovia muttered.
"But reincarnating!? Buchou. Is it all right to use such a valuable piece?" Issei asked in a surprised tone.
"Well. Having a Durandal wielder feels reliable. With this, it's a birth of the three-swordsmen, along with Yuuto and Vince." Rias replied with a smile.
"Since, Xenovia is joined the club. Does that mean that I can quit the club now and join another club, Rias?" Vince asked curiously.
"NO! I won't let you quit the club, or join another!" Rias shouted in a comical manner.
Vince ignored Rias' outburst and turned to Xenovia, "So where's Irina?"
"Irina returned to headquarters along with the corpse of Valper and the four Excalibur fragments including mine. The "fragments" that acts as the cores were retrieved in that state. So the mission of retrieving it was accomplished. If they have the cores, they can use alchemy to male the holy-swords again." Xenovia explained.
"But wait, wasn't there five Excalibur fragments? What happened to that one? Issei asked confused.
"That fragment could not have been found. Irina and I searched all over the battle field and we couldn't find it."Xenovia spoke seriously.
"And was it alright to give them your Excalibur? More like, was it okay to betray the church?" Issei asked in a curious tone.
"I have to give them the Excalibur back just in case. Unlike Durandal, there are other wielders that could be chosen. Having Durandal is enough for me. When I mentioned the absence of God to them, they became silent. So I became an outsider for knowing the absence of God. The Church hates outsiders and heresy very much. Even if that person is the wielder of Durandal, they will cut them off. Exactly the same way as the incident with Asia Argento." Xenovia said as she laughed at herself.
(Love of God my ass. That place is full of hypocrites.) Vince thought with a scowl.
"Irina was lucky. Even if she wasn't in the battle because of the wounds, she ended up not knowing the truth. She has a stronger belief than me. If she found out about God, I don't what would have happened to her." Xenovia replied in a somber tone.
"She would have most likely had a mental breakdown and question her very existence." Vince answered bluntly.
"Oi Vince. Wasn't that a bit harsh?" Issei asked with frown.
"No. Vince is correct, there is a high possibility that, would have happened if she learned about it. She was really disappointed that I became a devil. I couldn't tell her that it was because of the absence of God. It was an awkward farewell that we had. Maybe we might be enemies next time." Xenovia said as her eyes narrowed. She then took out a long black coat handed it to Vince. "This is from Irina, she told me to thank you for healing her and for covering her when she had no clothes with her."
Vince nodded and put on the coat, "Thanks Xenovia."
"It is, no problem."
Rias then cleared her throat and spoke up, "The Church made contact with us devils. More precisely, the Maou talk about this incident. They said, "We would like to make contact with you because of unclear and dishonest actions of the fallen-angels even though we feel unsatisfactory about this" . They also apologised about Valper because it was their mistake for letting him escape in the past."
(Wow. I haven't heard this much bullshit in an apology since my grandparents.) Vince thought as he rolled his eyes.
"But this school is truly terrifying. Because there's another sister of Maou attending this school." Xenovia spoke with a sigh.
"Eh. Don't worry about it Xenovia. It might seem terrifying but in reality it's kind of underwhelming. Especially since it's just Rias and Sona." Vince said, causing Rias to glare at him for the jab.
"The truth about this incident was sent to the God-side and the devils' side by the viceroy of the fallen-angels, Azazel. The theft of the Excalibur was an action taken by Kokabiel only. The other leaders didn't know about it. He planned to break the tension between the three sides. Because he tried to start another war, he was put in the Cocytus for eternity in a frozen state." Rias explained to everyone.
"Though it ended with the intervention of "Vanishing Dragon". They stopped the rampage done by one of them by sending someone from their organization. But I am curious, how exactly did you contact Azazel, Vince?" Rias asked as she looked at Vince.
"My contractor contacted Azazel. He doesn't want another Great War to happen, so he told Azazel and the rest is history." He replied smoothly.
"I see... Moving would also be a meeting between the representatives of the angels, devils and Azazel. Apparently there is something Azazel wants to talk about. I heard that maybe Azazel would be apologizing about Kokabiel then. Though it's suspicious if Azazel would apologise." Rias said with disgust as she shrugged her shoulders.
Vince however rolled his eyes, "It's not really suspicious president paranoia."
Rias glared at Vince for the title but spoke up, "What do you mean Vince?"
"Isn't it normal for a leader to apologise for a subordinates for being insubordinate? It shouldn't be suspicious because that's just common courtesy." He answered nonchalant.
Rias thought it over and hesitantly nodded at the answer, "We were also invited to that meeting. We have to report about the incident at the meeting because we were involved."
"Are you serious!?" Issei shouted in shock.
Everyone's eyes widened in shock as Vince's eyes narrowed before he spoke up. "Is it alright if I decline to go?"
Everyone turned to Vince with a surprised look as Rias shook her head. "You can't. It's important that you attend. They also want to know how you can wield an angel's holy-energy and how you can wield Masamune's Yawarakai-Te."
Vince clenched his fist as he scowled, (Dammit all to hell.)
"...The "Vanishing Dragon" belongs to the side of the Fallen-Angels, right?" Issei asked trying to break the tense atmosphere around Vince.
"That's right. Azazel is gathering Sacred Gear possessors who has a "Longinus". I don't know what he is thinking, but it's definitely something not good. The "Vanishing Dragon" is the top fighter among them. I heard that he is the fourth or fifth strongest out of all the strong people there including the leaders of Grigori. At this point, he is far stronger than you, who is his rival." Rias explained to him.
Xenovia then looks at Asia, "...That's right. I will apologise to Asia Argento. Since God didn't exist, then his love and help didn't as well. I'm sorry, Asia Argento. Hit me much as much as you want." She then bowed her head down.
"...No, I don't intend to do something like that. Xenovia-san, I'm enjoying my current lifestyle. Even though I'm a devil now, I met someone… people who are important to me. I am happy because of the place I live in now and the people I have met." Asia answered with a genuine smile.
"...So only you and I are the only Christians that found out about the absence of God. I won't be able to say something like a divine punishment to you now. So a heretic huh? I was a holy sword user who was admired, but now a heretic huh. I can't forget about how their eyes and attitudes changed when they saw me." Xenovia said with a small look of sadness in her eyes.
"Then I will be leaving. There's a lot of things I need to know about before transferring to this school." Xenovia stated as she tried to leave the room.
(I see. So Xenovia has seen the same hypocrisy I saw when I was younger...) Vince thought as he close his eyes for a moment.
"U..umm!"
"On the next weekend I'm going to go out to play with everyone. Would you also like to join, Xenovia-san?" Asia said with a smile.
Xenovia had widened her eyes in shock and then gave a bitter smile. "Next time then. This time I'm not interested. Except..."
"Except?"
Xenovia then says it with a smile to Asia. "Can you take me around the school next time?"
"Yes!" Asia answered with a smile.
"I will swear it in the name of my holy-sword, Durandal. I also would like to have a battle with the holy-demonic sword user over there as well and with the wielder of Masamune's holy-sword." Xenovia declared.
"Alright. I won't lose next time." Kiba also replied with a smile.
"That's fine by Xenovia." Vince said with a small smirk.
Rias then cleared her throat, "Vince. You still have to explain about a few things."
Vince sighed but nodded, "As long as nobody interrupts me until I'm finished."
Everyone nodded as Vince started explaining about who he got the Yawarakai-Te and his Sacred Gears.
"...And after God died, Shin and Amaya took adavantage and was able to leave. From their they came to me and the rest is history." Vince said as he finished explaining.
Everyone's eyes widened as Rias spoke, "So Shin and Amaya are actually Noise that evolved and you Masamune's Yawarakai-Te choose you as it wielder when you returned that book to it's owner in Kyoto, right?"
"Yeah."
"But wait if Shin-san and Amaya-san devoured a lot people back then, does that mean that you..." Issei trailed off.
"I don't have cannibalistic cravings Issei." Vince replied with a deadpan look.
"But there is something that has been bugging me. How is it that Sona hasn't noticed about the Noise, Vince?" Rias asked raising an eyebrow.
Vince sighed and then went into an explanation about the boundary line. "...As you can see this isn't common knowledge, so don't tell anyone."
Everyone's eyes widened but nodded, as Kiba spoke up. "Is there a chance that the boundary line might fall apart?"
{Not to our knowledge no. Not unless someone tries to.} Amaya spoke with a shrug.
(Ugh. That was a long winded explaination.) Vince thought to himself.
Kiba then took out a sword wrapped in a black cloth and handed it to Vince. "Here you go Vince-kun, after the battle. I used "Sword Birth" to repair your sword, it did change a little in the process."
Vince raised an eyebrow but unwrapped the cloth, his eyes widened when half of his long sword is now colored black and the other half was colored white, while giving off holy-demonic energy. "It's a holy-demonic sword now."
"Yeah, I tried changing it back but it wouldn't work." Kiba replied with an apologetic smile.
Vince did a practice swing before he took out his scabbard and placed it the sword in it. "Thanks Kiba, the sword feels better than before."
"Your welcome Vince-kun." Kiba replied with a smile.
[That sword probably now had the same ability it did in that battle.] Shin spoke up.
"What ability are you talking about?" Issei asked in a curious tone.
"I noticed that the during the battle it absorbed some of the fused Excalibur's holy energy. Since it's a holy-demonic sword, it wouldn't come of as a surprise if it could absorb both holy and demonic energy now." Vince deduced.
"Ara, that's an interesting ability to have. Does that mean that you can use that sword now Yuuto-kun?" Akeno asked him.
Kiba nodded in response, "Yeah. I can create the same ability with my "Sword Birth" now thanks to Vince-kun's sword."
Xenovia then got up and was about to leave before Vince spoke up. "Xenovia, before you go. I just want to say one last thing. Considering how the church has treated you, after learning their secret. I think you're better off without them."
Xenovia smiled a little and left. Vince was about to leave to, before Rias spoke up. "Before you go Vince. I noticed that your explanation clearly lacked any information about yourself."
Before Vince could respond a ringtone sounded off, he took out his cellphone and his eyes widened when saw he saw who was calling. (It's my mom, why is she calling now?)
Vince answered the phone as he spoke, "Hey, how are ya? ...Uhuh, no I'm doing well. Sorry, I haven't called you, I've been very busy."
"I never seen Vince act like this before." Issei said with a surprised look.
"...Vince-senpai looks happy." Koneko said.
"That's a surprise..." Rias muttered.
"...I see, thanks a lot. Okay, love you two, bye." Vince said as he hung up and pocketed his phone.
Everyone's eyes widened when they heard that, as Rias and Akeno tensed up.
"Vince, who was that you were talking to?" Rias asked in a tense voice.
"Why are you two looking so tense?" He asked noticing both Rias and Akeno tense up.
"...Please answer the question, Vince-kun." Akeno spoke with a fake smile.
Vince however blinked twice, before he started laughing. "You two are jealous."
Rias radiated a crimson aura as she glared at Vince, "That's not funny. Who was that?"
"My mother." He answered with a smirk.
Everyone's eyes widened as Rias and Akeno blinked owlishly, "Excuse me?"
"The woman you two were jealous of, was my mom." Vince answered before he opened the door.
Rias and Akeno immediately looked away with an embrassed look as Vince looked at them with an amused smile.
Vince then as he crouched slightly down in a standing position. He then began to move his legs in a specific pattern until his legs disappeared and a red stream, forming a figure-8, appeared below him. Vince then quickly took off at extreme speeds.
Everyone's eyes widened as Issei spoke up in a surprised tone, "How did he move that fast!?"

Vince immediately ran out of the school at highspeeds as he passed by mulitple students. (I'm surprised mom actually found Ayame-san's number. I didn't think she would find it while she was spring cleaning.)
{Vince-kun, why are you moving so fast?} Amaya asked in a surprised tone.
"My mom, told me that she actually found Ayame-san's number. After catching up with her she asked her, if she could ask Kasumi to come to Kuoh." He answered as quickly blured through a crowd at highspeeds.
[Oh right. If I recall correctly, Ayame-san is Kasumi's mother.] Shin spoke.
"Exactly. Kasumi, should be arriving at the train station soon." Vince answered as he ran up a wall at highspeeds and jumped from roof to roof.
{Just take it easy, Vince-kun. It's not like Kasumi will mind us being a few minutes late.} Amaya advised as she sweatdropped.
(Train Station)
Vince stopped tried to run but instead started skidding, as a small smoke came out from his sneakers as he continued to skid. (And there's the downside of Super Peel Out. It's hard to stop running.) Vince then used his psychokinesis pin to keep himself from moving and breathed a sigh of relief.
[You really should learn how to stop running after using that pin.] Shin said flatly.
"I know."
Vince sat down on a bench as he took out a necklace with a dark blue gem. He placed it around his neck and patiently waited for the people to come out of the train. (I should ask Kasumi how Hayate is doing.)
A few minutes later a young woman with a low ponytail wearing a white and pink sleeveless shirt, dark blue skirt, knee-high white boots and a white scarf, with a necklace outside of her scarf that had a orange-red gem on it, walked out of the train with a pink luggage.
(Damn... I think that's Kasumi. But why is carrying a luggage?) Vince thought confused.
Kasumi noticed a young man sitting on a bench that had a necklace around his neck that had a dark blue gem on it. She smiled and immediately walked towards the young man, "Excuse me, are you Vince Reinhart?"
Vince blinked twice as he saw her move quickly, before getting up from the bench."...Yes, is that really you Kasumi?"
Kasumi smiled widened as she pulled Vince into a hug, "I missed you Vince."
Vince's eyes softened as he softly patted Kasumi on the back, "Me too, Kasumi."
The two broke apart after a few minutes, Vince then sighed and spoke up. "I'm just kind of curious. Why do you have a luggage?"
"Elena-san didn't tell you?" Kasumi asked raising an eyebrow.
"Was my mom suppose to tell me something?" He said folding his arms.
Before Kasumi could answer a small beep sounded off. Vince took his phone and checked his inbox, after reading the text he did a spit take and blushed. (What the fuck!?)
"Is everything okay, Vince?" She asked in a slightly worried tone.
"Yeah, it's okay Kasumi." He said as he shook his head.
(Dear Vince, after getting talking with Ayame we've decided to have Kasumi stay with you so she can watch over you. I know that you've been spending all of the money I've sent you on instant ramen and frozen pizza. I don't care if it's your favorite food, I will not let you eat like that. P.S. I know you like Kasumi, but before you even think about that. Buy a condom first. Love, Mom.) Vince thought as he read the text message to himself. He then sighed and showed the text message to Kasumi. "I got the message now."
Kasumi read the text message and blushed after reading the last part. "I see that Elena-san still thinks that we'll be together..."
"Well that and Ayame-san has been teasing us about it, ever since we've learned that both her and my mom knew each other." He said with a sweatdrop.

Authors Note: That's the end of the chapter and yes I did ended it there on purpose. Now for the explanations.
I decided that this was the best time to add in the background of Vince's Sacred Gear spirits. As you can see, they really played a role in the Great War back then. Now just to clear up a few things.
I already planned for the backstory to be like this from the beginning. I thought it would be a good twist and just to point out. They're not evil to begin with, it's just a basic principal of survivor instinct in a way. Kind of like the animal food chain.
The fragment of Excalibur isn't going to be used by Vince due to the steps needed to remake it into a weapon. But it is pretty good to use as a threat against the church.
Before anyone asked Vince's Sacred Gear spirits didn't cause a Devil's clan to go extinct. They just took advantage and devoured one from each clan before they did. Just to clear up before there's confusion. They only gained an increase in power and knowledge from devouring, they don't get the person's power they devour. But they can still learn it, via their Possibility and Adaptability trait.
I also decided to add in the boundary line to explain why no one, not even Sona noticed the Noise. This was an easy thing to explain because there was a similar thing in the game The World Ends With You, where I got the idea to use Noise and the pins.
As for the pins, Adrenaline Soul may act like a limit break from a Final Fantasy game, but it's not. It's more like a final resort. And yes, Super Peel Out is the same move Sonic does in Sonic CD. I think it's a very helpful pin for Vince to have especially when it's for a getaway.
Also, I putted in the explanation of Kiba, fixing Vince's sword because I can picture him doing that. Anyway, just to note Vince's sword is now a holy-demonic sword. Both Kiba and Vince can use it, the only main ability of it, is absorbing holy and demonic energy, that's all.
In a later chapter it will be explained how Vince's mother knows Kasumi's mother. But for now, I just wanted to show that there is a connection there.
And before anyone asks, Vince was not acting OOC when he was talking to his mother. That's how he normally speaks to her. It's just a way to show that Vince does care for his mom.

Super Peel Out: Allows the user to briefly charge up before dashing at extreme speeds.
I'm still wondering if I should have Vince learn limit breaks from Final Fantasy as his techniques. If I do, it'll be like how the other characters uses them as regular techinques like in Final Fantasy Dissidia. That's all I have to say for now, later.
