Ok so this is the new chapter!

Thank you for your reviews/follows/favorites!

Ok, so I've been on a writing spree for some on reason so now I'm posting this! What is posted next, I don't know but hey, this is a good thing right?

Anywho, for all of those who took a guess about the person in the last chapter, you will find out if you were right or not in this chapter!

I don't think I saw any questions that need to be separately answered from the chapter itself, so sorry if I didn't see it!

Onto the chapter!

"Shit!" Yukio cursed as he watched Rin run out of the dorm. Just as he was about to make his own movement after him, he swiftly turned around to face Astaroth once again, his pistols pointed at the demon who made his own move after the boy. "Don't even think about it."

"You think you can stop me!?" Astaroth asked with a chuckle, trying to cover the worry in his voice at the sight of his scared brother.

"I know I can." Shiro growled out, his hands coming together in the formation for a prayer verse. "You're not going anywhere near Rin while we can help it, especially while you still have the sword."

Astaroth sneered. "Damn you exorcist." His hand tightened on the sword sealing Rin's demonic blood, his own power still focusing on breaking through the weakening seals that he has no doubt Mephisto had placed on the weapon. Without looking away from the two exorcists, he growled out. "Go, find Rin!"

The demons beneath him were quick to follow his orders, however, many didn't get far before they were exorcised by the exorcist standing before him which prompted another growl from the demon king.

"Kuro," Yukio spoke up. "Go, find Rin and get him to safety." He didn't even look to see the cat sidhe vanish as he narrowed his eyes at the Demon King of Rot. "Now, I think you have something to give back to us."

"No, I don't think I do." Astaroth growled, a shiver going up his spine when he heard the Paladin mutter a verse. Fine, it looks like he was going to have to go through them the hard way. "Come now, I'd hate to leave Rin waiting."

With three glares, the fight broke out.

Footsteps ran swiftly across the rooftops, their owner letting out a frustrated grumble. A soft whimper from his arms made him look down at the sad child in his arms.

"Shhh, its ok, otouto, its ok." He said as he used his hand closest to the child's head to run his fingers through their hair. The child relaxed slightly in their hold, instinctually reacting to the familial comfort. However, their peace didn't last long before a ragged cough worked its way out of the child's throat making him tense and whine again. The older man cooed once more, trying to comfort their sibling but knowing they could only do so much.

He stood still for a few seconds on the roof to calm his brother down. Once the younger had once again fallen still in an unpeaceful rest did they move again.

"I swear." The person grumbled. "When I find either Astaroth or Samael they are so going to hear it. What were they thinking, dragging you around like this. Honestly. And those exorcists aren't any better. They just don't know how to take care of you, do they otouto." He let out a sigh before looking around the city again. "Now if only I could just find one of them."

A thump from behind him made him think one of the demon's he had sent out to help him look had returned, but the growl that met his ears before he fully turned quickly turned down that idea. Keeping his brother close to his chest, he turned and met the demon standing before him.

"Yes?" He asked, raising an eyebrow at the cat sidhe before him. If he was honest, a cat sidhe was not something he had been expecting.

"Give me Rin." The cat sidhe growled, his green eyes narrowed and focused.

The man frowned. "No, I don't think I will. What do you need my brother for?"

"I'm going to protect him." The cat sidhe replied, but his tone showed no change in his offensive nature. "Give me Rin now, before I have to force you away from him."

"Wait, hang on." He spoke up. "Don't be so rash, you could hurt someone like that. I know I definitely don't want to risk my brother, and I bet you don't either."

"Then give me Rin."

"Didn't you hear me?" The other asked, a little annoyed with a tilt of his head, strands of turquoise hair falling in front of his face. "I'm not giving you my brother. He needs help and I can give him that. I just need to find one of my stupid brothers first." The last part was muttered with an irritated look on his face.

The cat sidhe growled, paws shifting on the roof as he took a stance in preparation to pounce. "Then I'll take him from you."

"I'm sorry, but didn't you hear me? I don't want to fight you!" The other cried out. "You know who I am right?! This won't end well for you!"

"I don't care that you're a demon king. All I care about is getting Rin away from you!" With that, the cat sidhe charged, the demon king quickly jumping out of the way of the demon.

With a frustrated growl, the demon king looked down at Rin in his arms, trying to decide if he should attempt to fight the demon or not. Biting his lip, he balled one of his hands into a fist as he fought the urge to summon his weapon. Right now wasn't the time to fight. No, he needed to focus on getting his brother to a safe place or at the very least to one of his other brothers who might know where the sword that he knew was sealing his brother's blood was to fix him. If he fought, he risked losing Rin a lot faster than if he just stuck to dodging.

With a huff, he turned on his feet and took off with a leap, his demonic abilities easily allowing him to clear the distance to the next roof. He could hear the cat sidhe following him as he moved from roof to roof, and he snarled in frustration. With a swift whistle, a Reaper that was nearby was quick to jump to his master's defense, the larger demon jumping in the way of the cat sidhe, making it skid to a stop.

Hoping it was enough of a distraction, the demon king kept running, his hold never once loosening on Rin nor did his speed ever decrease. However, a quick glance behind him when he got a rather fair distance away found himself witnessing the destruction of the Reaper and the cat sidhe quickly bounding after him.

"Shoot!" He cursed, dashing into the wooded area he saw nearby, hoping the trees would provide some sort of cover for him. He continued to run through the multitude of trees when suddenly-

"What are you doing here, Nii-san?"

The demon king let out a shriek as the voice unexpectedly popped up besides him. Whipping his head around to face the voice, he nearly slumped in relief at the familiar figure hanging upside down from a tree.

"Amaimon! Thank goodness!" He cried, blue eyes shining at the sight of his brother. "I need your help in finding either Samael or Astaroth! Do you know where they are? Either one? It really doesn't have to be both, even though I wouldn't mind seeing both since I need to yell at both of them anyway, but I need their help right now. Well, not so much their help but more of if they know what's going on because I could take care of our brother perfectly fine without them, but I know the only way to stop it would be to find that stupid sword and I know that either one or both of them know where it is so I need to see them. Anyway, do you know where either of them are?"

Amaimon didn't even blink at the rant that had all just come out in one breath from his brother. It was quite a regular occurance for the family. "You're looking for big brother? Why?"

"Because our baby brother needs help!"

Amaimon glance down at the curled up, shivering figure in his older brother's arms. Hopping down from the tree, he leaned closer and his eyebrows furrowed with concern when he saw the state Rin was in.

"Did those stupid exorcists do this to otouto?" He asked, tilting his head. "I knew I should have killed them."

"Wait, what? Oh, never mind! Just tell me if you know where either Astaroth or Samael are!"

"I'll take you to big brother." Amaimon said. "Astaroth is a little busy at the moment."

"That's fine! I don't care I just want to know what is going on so I can help our baby brother! I came all this way to see what was happening and this happens! I swear none of you know how to care for someone so young! Honestly…"

Amaimon ignored the other's rant as he continued to move through the forest. He was also aware of the cat sidhe that had followed his brothers into the forest and he had lower level demons keeping it occupied for the moment. He led his brother to one of the buildings around the forest. Taking out the key he had been given by Mephisto, Amaimon placed it within the doorknob and opened the door, watching as the quick doorway to his brother's office was opened. He let the other walk in before closing the door behind him, looking in the direction of the dorm building he knew Astaroth was inside of.

"Stupid exorcists." With that he took off in the direction of the dorm building.

"SAMAEL!"

Mephisto looked away from his window at the cry of his demon name, watching as a familiar head of turquoise waves dashed into the room.

"Ah, Egyn, what brings you hear dear-"

"Don't you even dare start!" Egyn cut his brother off with a growl and a jab at his chest with a pointed pale finger. "I don't want to hear anything from you except for anything in terms of helping out baby brother! And don't you dare play clueless either!" He cried when he saw Mephisto's mouth open. "You know exactly what I'm talking about and I want to know what was going through your mind when you pulled out dear Rin into this mess you call entertainment! I swear, you should have just brought our brother to Gehenna the moment he was born, but NO~! You had to convince father-not that you really did since he is still pissed off at you and you are soooo lucky that you aren't in Gehenna right now-that this was good for him! You had to let those evil exorcist get to him first and now look at him! You said you would watch over him, and look at him! I swear you are a horrible brother! You just let them take our baby and only get involved when it's trouble or beneficial to you! Well, right now it is an emergency and you better help or I swear to our father I will make you regret it!"

Mephisto just blinked at his brother's rant, raising an eyebrow when the other finished. "Are you done?"

Egyn narrowed his eyes at the other, the blue orbs flashing like a raging sea. "No. I'm still mad at you but we have other worries to worry about at the moment." With that, he shifted Rin a little in his arms to allow Mephisto to see their brother. Rin's face was flushed and sweat dripped down his face along with tears. A soft cry left him that had Egyn cooing once again at the younger in an attempt to calm him down.

Mephisto furrowed his eyebrows and with a hum bent closer to look at his youngest brother. "I would say that the seal has weakened significantly on the sword, most likely Astaroth's doing. I can also assume that our sweet brother activated his flames for a time while the sword was still sheathed, thus leading to his current state."

"Ok, I could have probably guessed that." Egyn huffed. "I more so want to know if you can do anything for him."

"I can try to calm the effects on him, but I can only do so much without the sword." Mephisto said.

"Then do whatever it is you have to do with your fancy spells." Egyn snapped, his worry for Rin clear in his voice. "After that, you better be able to fix this completely!"

"Astaroth is working on that at the moment." Mephisto said before reaching his hands out. "May I?"

Egyn glared at the other demon king. "Do you need to hold him for this to work?"

"Why yes-"

"Nope, I don't believe you!" Egyn said, pulling Rin closer to his body. "You don't get the privilege of holding our brother right now!"

Mephisto's eye twitched before he sighed. "Fine." He let his hand hover over the young half-demon and let out a mutter of "Eins, Zwei, Drei" before taking his hand away from the young boy.

"There," He sighed. "I've slowed his own body down so that the progression of the demon blood also slows down within his body until we fix the problem."

Egyn sighed in relief, pulling Rin closer to his body once more. "One of the few good things you've used your abilities for. Now," He looked up at Mephisto with stormy eyes once again. "Go and fix this."

"So demanding!" Mephisto laughed, getting an even darker glare from his brother.

"You are involved in this, so you fix this!" Egyn snapped. "I'm not going anywhere, especially not now when I've seen what you've done to Rin. So, now I'm going to focus on getting our brother better and then go from there. However, I know that you know how to completely fix this, so I want you to do that as soon as possible!"

Mephisto raised his hands in a pacifying gesture. "Now, now. You have to put your faith into Astaroth for that, dear brother. He's the one incharge of getting the sword."

Egyn raises an eyebrow. "And if he doesn't?"

"Do you doubt him that much?"

"No!" Egyn objected, looking offended to even be considered that he would ever doubt one of his brother's skills. "I just know that our baby brother was currently living with two exorcists and one of them was the Paladin and that he knows a lot of skills that can keep us occupied for a bit. I mean, I know that Astaroth won't give up but I'm just worried that he might get really hurt or something, and if it wasn't for the fact that I don't want to risk bringing Rin into battle or leaving him alone for so long in his condition that I would go help them, but I guess I'll just have to hope that Amaimon is able to help him enough that-"

"Amaimon?" Mephisto cut off his brother's worried rant with a question.

"Huh?" Egyn blink, confused for a second as he was still in the middle of ranting before grasping what his brother was asking. "Oh! Yes, I ran into Amaimon while I was trying to find you, in fact he was the one who helped me get here, but he didn't follow me through so I can only assume that he's gone to help Astaroth….wherever that is."

Mephisto stared with wide eyes at his brother, processing what the Demon King of Water had said. When the silence had gone on long enough Egyn huffed out, "What?"

Mephisto sighed, his hand going up to pinch his nose in exasperation. "I swear, you all don't understand how to control yourselves, dear brothers."

"What's that supposed to mean!?"

"It means, that it seems we'll be coming to a conclusion faster then what was originally anticipated." Mephisto replied, summoning his staff into his hand with a twirl of his hand. "Just wait here, dear brother. I have to go deal with a change in plans." With a countdown and poof, he was gone.

Egyn stared at where his older brother had just been, blinking in confusion before letting out his own sigh. "Honestly, I don't even know why I try to understand him anymore."

He moved to sit down in one of the comfortable chairs within the office, his arms shifting his sleeping brother so that he would be in a more comfortable position. Looking down at the sickly pale face, Egyn summoned some water into his hand before rubbing it gently across Rin's forehead in an attempt to cool down whatever fever he knew Rin was still feeling no matter how frozen in time he's supposed to be. And that fact saddened him, that whatever had happened before he reached his brother had caused such an illness, that those exorcists that claimed to care for Rin would let him suffer in such a way. Rin couldn't be cut off like this, yet those exorcists clearly couldn't see what Rin's real brother's see.

"Please, fix this Samael." Egyn muttered before he settled into humming a soft song he hoped was reaching his brother's ears and that it gave him some sort of ease from all this insanity.

So that was that! That's right it was Egyn! I have to admit I was so happy when I wrote this! I don't know why but I absolutely love how I wrote him. But yeah, its him! Oh, in case some of you are confused, I don't go by the manga demon kings outside of Mephisto and Amaimon. Every other demon king is my own version of them, so sorry if you're expecting them or something but I'm also pretty sure I mentioned that they were going to be the same demon kings from Taken before this, soooo...

Anywho, feel free to comment, ask questions, etc.

Until next time! :D
