It's been a while guys. Muah, I love you! College stuff got pretty stressful there for a while. On the bright side, my twin had her baby! Haven't heard about her for a while, huh? xD Anyway, into the story! See you in the announcements ;D

Previouisly:"I'm going to spend some time with my Roza" he beamed brightly. My heart jumped and I corrected it telling it he was talking about Rosalina.

You have to tell him Rose…

My thoughts chastised me and just when I decided to make the decision there was a knock at the door. I sighed but I didn't know whether it was in frustration or relief. I held my finger up to Dimitri signaling that it would take just a second but it was useless because he followed me anyway. I walked up to the door and answered it with Dimitri standing behind me and when I swung it open on the other side stood someone I didn't expect to see at all. Yes I'd made a decision but it wasn't the one that was due at the time.

"I'm back." He said.

Chapter 21

"D- Hello," Dimitri stood behind me hovering closely behind me. He peeked around the door and his eyes grew wide as he stood facing the man in the doorway.

"Mr. Mazur-"

"Belikov," my dad said through gritted teeth.

"Dimitri, I think I hear Rosalina upstairs." Dimitri turned to me and then nodded urgently as if he'd just realized what I'd said. I could see on his face the questions that lay behind his eyes. He sprinted up the stairs and disappeared towards his door.

"Ro-"

"This way," I motioned him towards the back hallway.

"What?"

"This way, Sir" He followed silently his nose turned up at me and his fist in balls. We turned the corner to the back hall and headed through to the rooms we used for feeding. We made a right and came to a solid Black door the pristine paint glossy and menacing.

"In," I ushered him and he all but stomped into the room and waited tapping his foot as I shut the door.

"What the hell, Rose." He yelled jabbing a finger towards my chest. I was suddenly grateful that these rooms had been sound proofed.

"Dad, I'm sorry."

"What's going on?" the sound of his foot tapping against the floor seemed to haunt me a I stared into his icy glare. His arms crossed and his hard look would have made me laugh if I hadn't been so worried in the moment. He almost looked like a normal parent. I stared silently at his leather shoes not daring to glance back at his face as I thought about what to say. He stepped forward and put his hand under my chin tilting my face upwards and meeting my eyes with such intensity that I wanted to cringe away.

"Rose, why is Dimitri here?" I pulled away but didn't dare move to far almost paralyzed in my spot.

"Lissa and Christian invited him." He turned and began to pace his arms waving madly as he talked.

"Why would they invited a no good douchebag into their home? This is exactly why I want to take you away from here Rose! I asked you and asked you do you want to leave will you let me take you, I told you to make a decision and you always tell me no!"

"Dad, I-"

"I'm trying to protect you, Rose!"He grabbed my shoulders so suddenly I flinched and paled as his stare froze me. He must have seen the fear I hid none so well behind my eyes because he immediately softened pulling me in tightly and hugging me to his chest. He rested his chin on my head and sighed.

"You deserve so much better than this, Rose. I want to give you that. Give you the world. You and your mother. We're a family. I know we haven't been much of one before but I'm trying to fix it. I know you think that I'm crazy but you're my daughter. I make myself crazy worrying about you."

"I know. I just can't leave Lissa."

"Please think about it."

"Abe"

"Rose. Please. Come home with your mother and I. Just think about it. 1 month. Please. Just tell me you'll think about it."

"Okay. 1 month, I'll think about it."

"Thank you." He sighed and pulled me impossibly closer and then held my hand as I walked him to the door. I resisted the urge to pull my hand free in fear of Dimitri seeing us. I opened the glossy black door and stepped through as if I was walking through a portal back into another world. I turned and was met with Dimitri's wide eyed intense stare. His jaw hardened and he clenched his fist. I dropped Abe's hand and floundered for something to say.

"Mr. Mazur you should be leaving, I'm sure we have much more work to do than satiating your thirst." He growled, jabbing his finger towards the feeding rooms.

"What? Dimitri, no-"

"Please," he held his hand up and my mouth fell shut. "I'll show you out."

"Belikov," my dad growled warningly. His shoulder's were squared and I rested my hand on his chest stepping in front of him and pleading with him silently. Something registered behind his eyes and he huffed and pulled away heading back through the labyrinth of hallways to the door. He turned back and pointed his finger at me. Why was everyone pointing there stupid fingers at me today? I pouted but waited for him to talk.

"1 month." He turned and kept walking until all I could hear was the slamming of the door.

"Christian told me what those rooms were for, Priya. That's not something-"

"Nothing happened."

"I know what the rooms-"

"NOTHING HAPPENED."

"YOU CAN'T END UP LIKE HER!" I froze.

"W-what?" He buried his face in his hands before looking up and running a hand through his hair.

"I loved her. I loved her with all of me. I didn't show her enough. I didn't love her enough. I left her to love herself and…" he sighed not seeming to be able to grasp the words on his tongue. He gave me one last broken glance before storming off. He left and I was alone. Alone in the back hallway with myself. Or was it Priya? I didn't know.

Well then. A short little chapter to hold you over for a bit, because I'm posting at least 1 more chapter today. How'd you like it? I shut down my other writing twitter and decided instead to create a blog! I've been working on my own original work for a few months now and having a blog has been more helpful than a writer's twitter at the moment. Hoping this calm that I've got from the college stuff will last a bit. R and R guys 3 Thanks for staying loyal.
