Chapter 21: A Worried Start
By the end of the summer vacation for Kagome and her friends, they all receive their new schedules for the following year they're attending to. Kagome feels nervous about going to the fifth grade section. But just to be on the safe side, she goes to her computer to have the 4 way chat with Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango. When she logged on, she finds out that they're all online, which makes it the perfect opportunity.

Ditto. I just hope none of us will be separated from each other.
As in all of us won't be in the same classes. I'm worried about that.
Not to mention we have to go the opposite direction to the middle school.
Somehow I kinda feel nervous about all of this.
I just none of the other student will boss us around.
Not only that but also heard that some of the teachers are just cruel to their students. I don't want any of us to go through with that.
I agree. It's best that the teacher have a great personality and it makes it easier on us to understand.
Good point. Let's just hope nothing bad happens to us. Did anyone heard what happened to Koga?
I somehow got a message from the principal and telling me through a letter that they're going to transfer him to another school.
Well at lease you don't have to deal with him anymore.
But what about Kikyo and Sesshomaru? They're going to be in the 7th grade. Will they be there to either help or stay out of the 5th grade?
I'm not sure.
Neither do I. Who knows what they might do whenever something happens to any of us.

Taking Inuyasha's advice, Kagome sees it's 10:00 pm. She changes into her pink pj pants, and in a red t-shirt. Without wasting any more time, Kagome turns off her computer and got into bed. When she got under the comforter, she then turns off her lamp and went to sleep.
The next morning, Kagome is being rudely awaken by a shaking feeling, "Kagome, you have to get ready for school." Kikyo said as she pulls the comforter of her little sister's body. "Not now, Kikyo." Kagome whines back while shivering since the warmth was gone. "Last time I heard, you are going to the 5th grade, and I should be on the look out to make sure nothing happens to you." She tells as she sits on the bed's end. Kagome stretches her body. "But you know as well I do that you'll be in the other side of the building, becoming a 7th grader." Kagome retorted her sister. "I know but it was mom and dad that told me about the drama the 5th grade section is like. Remember I was in that part when I first started." Kikyo reminds her. "And now it's my turn to handle whatever they throw at me. Now would be so kind to give me privacy." Kagome requests. Kikyo nods and leaves the room, closing the door behind her.
Just hearing what Kikyo had to say about the 5th grade drama. 'who knows what's going to happen to me?' she asks herself mentally. She goes into her closet to pick out some of the new clothes her mother bought for her. She picks out a blue shirt with a cute kitty snuggled up, and cute blue jeans with jewels on the bottom part of the opens for the legs to go through. After putting the outfit on, she heads to the bathroom to wash up and brush her teeth. After that, she goes downstairs to have breakfast with her family.
Like always, Ai is by the stove making pancakes, Hige reading the paper that came in way before any of the family members are awake. "Morning." Kagome greets the parents. "Morning, sweetie." Ai replies back at her as she brings in a plate of 2 slices of pancakes for her daughter. "Thanks mom." Kagome shows her smile as gratitude. "So my little girl will be in the 5th grade. What do you think it'll be like?" Hige asks as he puts the paper down and takes sip of the coffee Ai made for him as well. Kagome takes a bite of the pancake and spoke after swallows it down. "I'm not sure, daddy. It's full of surprises." She responds before she takes another pit. Hige nods. "Well if there's any problem with your time there, let us know." Hige assures her. "I will." Kagome said back.
About 45 minutes later, Kagome gets her new backpack with the information she needs to know where to go and runs out the door. "Bye mom, bye dad." She waves to them and heads to the middle school. "Kagome, wait up." Kikyo shouts out from behind. Kagome does slows down so that her older sister catches up to her. "Sorry." Kagome said. Kikyo pants a little and walks along with her. "What will it be like in the 7th grade?" Kagome asks her. "Well it's just going to be a little harder than it was in the 6th grade. Think of it as a journey of levels." Kikyo answers with a concerned voice about her time than Kagome's. "So it'll just be a little bit harder than the 4th grade?" Kagome asks her. Kikyo. "And remember that it'll be a little harder as you move on in live." She advises her. Kagome begins to understand the statement. As they turn the block where the middle school comes to their view. Kagome feels a bit nervous about it. Kikyo grabs hold of her sister's shoulder "It's going to be okay. Besides you have your friends with you." Kikyo assures her. "I'm here, Kagome." A male voice catches their attention. They turn around to see Inuyasha and Sesshomaru approaches them. Just seeing him brings the weights off her shoulders. "Hey there you two." Kikyo greets them. "I had to make sure the Inuyasha was ready by the time he woke up this morning." Sesshomaru grins as he nuggies his little brother's head. (Don't worry, they're both disguised as regular humans.) "Hey cut it out." Inuyasha glared as he manages to get his brother's arm off of himself. "Sure thing lil bro." Sesshomaru grins as he heads up ahead with Kikyo by his side.
After arriving inside the building, Kagome and Inuyasha pull out their schedules to see where they have to go. It turns out that they won't be in the same class this time. Just reading it, made Kagome already nervous. "Well I guess we have to go our separate ways then." Kagome said as she shows a sad expression. Inuyasha takes a hold of her shoulder like what Kikyo did. "I'll be with you in spirit." He said with enthusiasm. Trying her best to accept his comfort, all she did was nod and continue their way to the 5th grade section of the middle school.
