I want to thank everyone for reading and I hope that you all enjoy it. If there is anything you would like to see happen please let me know and I will try and work it in. I do not claim to know the legal system or the medical field. Some of the things I write about are pulled from experience. Other than that all of this is made up. All rights to E. L. James I'm just playing with the characters a little. Thanks to Christine Wood for all the help with this story so far.

Winds of Change

Ana:

After leaving the courthouse I was thinking of ways to limit the contact that man could have with my little girl. Christian still hasn't said much and I know that Taylor is scheaming on what he can do to keep her safe. I trust Taylor and I will follow any instructions that he feels is necessary.

We arrive at the NICU floor and I notice that Miranda is not in her bed. Just before I begin to panic the nurse informs me that she is with the doctor and he is doing a car seat test. Once the test is completed he will discuss everything with us.

I turn and look at Christian with hope in my eyes that I will be bringing my baby girl home soon. We have been truly blessed that she didn't have any major complications other than acid reflux that was controlled with adding cereal to her bottle at every feeding. This was done to weight the milk down.

While waiting on the doctor to come in and speak with us I make sure to tell Christian that whatever security measures he deems necessary I will follow as I don't trust that rat bastard Jeremy. Christian agrees and says that he will speak to Taylor about it. I thank him and kiss him with everything in me. We are alerted that we are not alone when the doctor excuses the interruption. I begin to blush. The doctor begins to speak.

"Ms. Steele, I am very pleased with Miranda's progress and believe that she can go home."

"When is she set to be released?" I am holding back the tears that are fighting to be released. I hear only two words as the doctor speaks again. TOMORROW MORNING. With these words the dam breaks. Christian is holding me close as he continues to speak with the doctor.

Christian:

Miranda is coming home and so far she will be on a sleep apnea monitor, meds for acid reflux and her milk mixed with the cereal at every feed. She has come so far and in only three months. I have called Taylor and he will be arranging security for tomorrow. Ana is still trying to pull herself together so I look over to her and the smile that graces her face is pure joy to behold.

"Ana, baby, how about a welcome home party for our little girl on Saturday?" Her response floors me.

"Christian that will be perfect and how about you invite the Justice of the Peace so we can make this official."

I am beyond words with what I am feeling. I agree and tell her to leave it all up to me. I begin to call the family and get everything set up. I call Judge Baker and ask can she do the ceremony at two in the afternoon on Saturday. She agrees as long as all the paper work is in order.

I go back into the room with Ana and Miranda. My two favorite girls are cuddled together in the chair and I can't help the smile that comes across my face. My heart swells with immense pride. I am so in love with these two wonderful ladies.

Taylor:

Court was a cluster fuck, but we knew it may go this way and we are ready. Jefferies is following jackass and will continue to do so. Laura Sawyer will be with Miss Miranda and will meet Ms. Steele and Mr. Grey when she arrives. She was a great find and was very excited to be moving to the same place as her twin brother.

I continue to let my thoughts take me away while watching the area and keeping an eye on the boss and his family; I am interrupted by my phone's ringtone. It's a text

Jeffries: Sir Mr. Shell just arrived home shortly followed by Hyde.

Shit this is not gonna fly with the Boss. It's time to call a meeting as Welch now has the background checks back on both of them.
