The sound of a knock on the door awoke Sidney. She stirred slowly; she didn't open her eyes until she was sure someone was knocking. She muffled a yawn by hugging the pillows a little tighter. She stretched a little, "Come in." She heard the door open with a click. A balding man with bright red hair entered the room, "Hi. I'm Arthur Weasley. Molly wanted to give you food in bed, since you've been sleeping." Sidney rubbed her blue eyes. He saw the cast on her left hand, "What happened?" She sighed, "I burnt my hand on the stove." He nodded, "Oh."
He presented to her a feast of foods. She felt she could feast her eyes with what she saw. Ham, cheese, eggs, bacon, sausage, and a pancake! She said, "This is for me?" Mr. Weasley nodded uncertainly, "Why wouldn't it be?" She said, "Oh, it's just, I've never eaten so much." He said, "Oh." She took the tray from him softly, "Thank you." He smiled at her, "No problem." The child yawned again as he closed the door behind him. Sidney looked down at the tray underneath her hands. She dug into it immediately. She drank the whole pitcher of orange juice. She ate everything off her plate.
Finally, she brushed her hair and got into some clothes. She stepped outside the room, and was immediately lost. She didn't know where anything, or anyone was. She heard her brother's voice, "Sid?" She looked; Harry stood only down the hallway. He held out his arms; she ran into his arms, hugging him tightly. She said, "Harry!" He said, "How was breakfast?" She smiled up at him, "It was great! I've never eaten so much in my life!" He smiled at her, running his hands through her hair softly. She smiled up at him, "Where is everyone?" He said, "Kitchen." She nodded, "Thanks."
Harry and she walked down the creaky stairs slowly as she said, "How was your meal?" He said, "Great! Those eggs were much better than the ones we made, huh?" She nodded, "Very." Ron looked at and gaped when he saw Sidney smiling at her brother. She looked much better. He smiled at her, "Hi." She smiled back, "Hi."
Mrs. Weasley smiled at the Potters. "How was breakfast?" Their eyes widened, "Great!" She smiled, "Ronald is done eating; maybe he could show you how to de-gnome a garden!" Ron rolled his eyes, "THey aren't going to be interested in that Mum!" She didn't listen, "Now, how would Lockhart tell us to do it?" Sidney saw the cover; a blonde man with a humungous smile on his face was waving at her. She turned around, close to laughing at Mrs. Weasley's face.
Harry stared at his sister, and said, "Um...Ron, how about telling us how to do that?" Ron nodded nervously and led the twins to the backyard. When they got out and had closed the door, Sidney and Harry burst out laughing, "Who is that?" Ron muttered, "Gilderoy Lockhart. Mum adores him. Sidney can see that!" Sidney grinned, "She was positively drooling at the picture on the cover!" Ronald burst out laughing even harder. Sidney stared, amazed at how red his face had gotten.
Harry laughed quickly and then said, "Okay, so what is de-gnoming?" Ron shook his head, "You'd hate it." Sidney said, "Try me." Ron said, "Okay! Slytherin against Gryffindor!" Sidney suddenly got furious, "Yeah, Gryffindor!" Ron showed her how to de-gnome a garden. She got it immediately; she didn't get hurt or dizzy once. Harry grinned, "Slytherin wins this one!"
Sidney turned to her brother, a satisfied look in her eye. She said, "How about a treat? Snickerdoodle cookies!" Harry licked his lips; he hadn't had any of those since his first year at Hogwarts. She took a bag out of her vest; filled with their favorite cookies. She grinned, "Dig in!"
Draco lay in his bed; Lucius Malfoy, his dad, wasn't a good one. He'd locked Draco in his room for the past month. He couldn't wait to go back to Hogwarts and see Sidney again. She was always go happy and then when she wasn't she seemed to just forget about what it was.
His father came into the room with his mother; "Draco...your mother and I have been thinking...Do you like the Potter girl?" Draco never expected to hear about Sidney, "She's my friend." Narcissa held her son's hand, "Honey...maybe you'd be better off without us. Maybe you-you could go live with her." He shook his head, "But...I love you guys! I want to stay with you! Why wouldn't you want me?"
