PLEASE READ: I updated for this story-SHOCKER! I KNOW!

A/N: Honestly, I really wasn't sure I was ever going to come back to it. At this point it's been 5 months since I've posted a new chapter and you've probably lost all interest in this fanfic as a whole, but I want to give an ending to it and now that the show is on hiatus yet again I found some inspiration (and some time) to this story I haven't looked at in ages. Maybe I feel a need to set a conclusion to it because of my own desire to finish what I started, or perhaps I want to provide an ending for all of the lovely people who have read, commented, and followed. Or maybe I just found enjoyment in writing and decided to put my ideas out there again. But nonetheless, something inclined me to. P.s. I promise to update WAY more frequently and supply an ending to this sooner rather than later. P.s.s. I have not forgotten the plot holes to this story and resolutions and/or answers will be given in the upcoming chapters. And if you've forgotten, don't worry I will provide some sort of recap in one of my next updates. But for now this chapter shouldn't recall too much recollection. So just sit back, enjoy, and let me know your thoughts.

Callie was on her way to the gyno this morning for an appointment to get birth control pills. She was nervous, to say the least. She had asked Daphne what was mandatory at these appointments and with that she knew there was a very real possibility she'd have to undress in front of the doctor. Callie had only really been naked in front of 3 people in her lifetime: her mom, Brandon...and Liam. That was where the surface of her issues stemmed from. She didn't want to be naked in the presence of a stranger, someone she hadn't yet built a trust with. No, she didn't want someone to look at her like that, or touch her. Even if it wasn't the way he did...Of course she wasn't yet aware of these facts. All Callie knew was that she didn't want to get naked at this appointment. Because she felt uncomfortable.

So she walked into the building, signed her name, and waited. Waited as her worries consumed her.

"Callie Jacob?"

Callie walked toward the nurse, wearing a nervous grin.

"Callie?"

"Hi."

"Hi. I'm gonna take you back to room 11, okay?"

"Alright," Callie replied uneasily.

"You'll be meeting with Dr. Regae today. You just caught her before she leaves for vacation."

"Well actually my friend Daphne set up the appointment for me. I just moved out here a few months ago, so I don't really have a doctor yet."

"Oh yeah? Hopefully today goes well and we can change that!"

Callie was asked the standard q's- 'any medications, are you sexually active, concerns?'

Callie answered no to all but one and it wasn't the last one. She kept her concerns to herself, silently dreading the arrival of Dr. Regae. Sooner than not, she arrived and Callie noiselessly inhaled. The doctor introduced herself, checked her chart, and then what she'd been dreading...

"Okay. Would you remove your shirt for me please? I'll step out for a moment."

*later*

Brandon walked into the apartment after an extra shift he took at his job. He set down his keys on the table, peaking into the bedroom where Callie was sleeping. She looked peaceful and sound, lying on top of the covers with her bare arms and stomach in her tank top. He gently walked over and placed a hand on her hip as he went to kiss her cheek. She shot up so fast, Brandon was startled himself, and he jumped backwards.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you."

Callie sat up straight adjusting her tank and pushing stray hair out of her face. "No you...you didn't. I just fell asleep for a minute," she said thinking back to earlier.

"Have you eaten? What do you want tonight?"

"Um, no, I haven't. I think we have some leftover pizza."

"Cool."

"Uh, I'm gonna go take a shower real quick before we eat," Callie said still uneasy from her awakening.

"Okay. I'll go play on the piano for a little while you do."

Callie walked in the bathroom and shut the door. She turned the shower knob and went and stood before the mirror for a moment. She tugged on her tank top even more and watched the water run.

After her shower, she crept behind a focussed Brandon. She didn't even need to force a smile when she saw him in his element. She placed her hands on his shoulders from behind.

"You sound really good," she said. "You're getting better."

"Well, my extension isn't quite there yet, but-"

"Stop," Callie said shaking her head! "You sound great!"

Brandon accepted, smirking. "Thank you."

"Do you wanna watch some TV?"

"Yeah." Brandon got up from his piano bench, the two of them walked over to the kitchen, got their food, and settled in on the couch.

...

They were finishing their meals as they watched some new conceptualized reality show.

"Seriously? Not another new reality show about marriage," Brandon sat looking bored at the screen! "...Hey, are you okay? You barely touched your food."

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"You sure?" He smiled jokingly, "you're not upset cuz I'm not feeling this marriage show, are you?"

She looked up at him less tense and smiled. "No," she chuckled.

"Because," he shifted towards her, "you know that could be us someday."

"Hmm," Callie leaned into him, "I don't really think we're cut out for reality television."

Brandon played along, "yeah you're probably right."

They smiled at each other and Callie kissed him placing her palm gently against his cheek as Brandon wrapped his arms around her shoulders. She pulled back for a moment before B. pulled her closer and they became lost in the kiss. Callie brought both of her hands to either side of his face and brought her bare feet up to the couch as she pressed her body against his, removing any vacant space between them. Brandon supported her lower back, guiding her to fall against the cushions on the sofa. She smiled though the kiss, their lips never breaking apart. He undid the buttons on his shirt and slid it off his arms, dropping it behind him. Then lifting her pajama top over her head, he threw it over the couch and kissed her neck. Callie reached behind her back as Brandon brought his face back up to hers, kissing her lips once again; she unclasped her bra. They were caught in a sensual kiss as Callie felt one of Brandon's hands slowly, but gently, trickle down from her shoulder to her chest. She tensed at the touch and her face scrunched as her eyes were still shut closed. He brought his hand back up to her shoulder, stroking his hand down it. That's when he noticed her disconnect; he broke the kiss and looked down, his hand still rested against her arm.

"What's wrong," he said startled at the expression she tried desperately to hide?

"I'm sorry" Callie said sitting up a little underneath him as she pulled up her bra straps still hanging from her arms. "I just...I need...I need to get up," she grasped for breath.

Brandon sat back a little letting her up as he was confused at the sudden change. "What did I do? Wha-what's wrong?"

As she got up, she grabbed her t-shirt off the ground on her way to the bedroom. She glanced back, "I-I'm sorry," and headed on into the bedroom.

SNEAK PEEK OF THE NEXT CHAPTER:

"Wha—what happened," Brandon asked not really knowing the correct question to ask?

She was silent, still staring at the ground.

"Did I do something wrong? Did I..did I hurt you?"

"No," she responded quickly.

"Is this," he closed his eyes thinking the worst, "is this about…Liam?"
