So, I'm on fire updating this story, it will be finished soon, but there will be a new story! Yay, series is born! Ok, this chapter will be dedicated to some of Natsu and Lucy *Don't start, Nalu fans* And then we will get back to the games! So, next chapter, enjoy!
Early the next morning
Natsu moaned and clutched at his head before opening his eyes.
The bright sun shone over him, he felt soft, comforting, grass beneath him.
He rolled his tired aching head to one side. He saw towering stone walls with windows and a large oaken iron bound door, to the other side, he saw an empty rope course.
"Crap..." Natsu moaned.
Sure enough, he was lying on the grassy field in the center of the Draconem Heart courtyard. He was home.
He felt strange already, judging by the sun it was about 10:30 in the morning. This field was normally filled with wizards at such a time, the ropes would be swinging, laughs, jeers, and bets would be made. This place wasn't supposed to be silent. The ropes were looking almost sad as they hung, motionless, yet they weren't supposed to be that way. It was almost depressing for Natsu, to hear nothing but the breeze in the place he couldn't once remember being quiet.
Natsu sat up and blinked, he felt a bit better, at least he could stand on his own now! His head was still throbbing, and he wanted to get out of the sun. He pushed himself to his feet and walked towards the doors, he opened them and went inside, shutting the doors behind him, closing off the sunlight. This alone seemed to help with the throbbing in his head.
He sighed as he allowed one hand to run along to cool stone wall. He looked around and saw several portraits of some of the members. He knew them by name, of course, he knew everyone in the guild by name.
Master Dracoya certainly thought up a cool system of showing who's S-class.
Natsu thought as he made for the hangout. The closer your portrait was to the Dragons hangout, the stronger you were. And if your portrait was inside the hangout. You were elite, incredible, but, if your portrait was among to ones on the second floor, behind the bar, where several tables and chairs were arranged for people to sit and relax near the bar. If your portrait was there, you were S-class. Natsu closed his eyes as he remembered the faces there.
Laxus was the weakest of the S-class wizards, in front of him was Sofie. Sure the girl looked, acted, and probably was a total nutcase, but she was strong, and the power she had used against Gray was nothing compared to the stuff that Natsu had seen her use. She had just wanted to make sure she didn't kill him. But her last attack had been all out, and Gray was probably lucky to be alive. In front of her was Cobra, he had been one of the most powerful dark wizards in the country, after all. In front of him was the strongest wizard in the entire guild...
Natsu walked though the doors to the Dragons Hangout and gasped.
"Viper?!" He exclaimed.
The dark poison purple eyes flicked over to the dragonslayer, the slit pupils eyeing him carefully.
"Hmm, long time, no see, Natsu."
On the trails of the West Woodsy
"God, Happy, how on earth can your guild be so far away..." Lucy moaned.
Happy smirked, "Wow, normally I'd be the one complaining!" He said, giggling.
"Oh shut up you stupid cat, lets just get to your dumb little guild and stop Natsu." She sighed.
Happy scowled, "Our guild isn't dumb or little! It's awesome and gigantic!"
He exclaimed angrily.
"Ok, ok, I take it back, I'm sure your guild is very nice." Lucy consoled the upset blue feline, patting him on the head.
I do wonder what this place looks like though. I've never imagined Natsu in any other guild but Fairy Tail...Lucy thought to herself.
Probably pretty small, two stories or so...a bar, a request board, an S-class area. Not that there's anything wrong with a small guild.
Meanwhile, Happy was also thinking.
Lushy probably thinks our guild is super tiny, huh? She must not understand how many members there are. Or that we all like there. But...if this place is discovered what if we're attack. Phantom Lord tore down the old Fairy Tail hall. What if Fairy Tail come's and tears down ours!? Maybe I should just leave Lushy behind...I can't risk our guilds discovery!
Happy was then suddenly antsy, "I shouldn't be doing this, I shouldn't be doing this, I shouldn't be doing this!" He whimpered over and over.
"Happy, whats the big deal? You trust me don't you?" She asked the cat.
He nodded, "Of course I do, Lushy, but thats not the problem, there are so many security spells, and whether your nice or not your still a member of a different guild! I could get into a lot of trouble, bringing you to our hall!"
He cried, wringing his paws. Lucy sighed.
"Ok, how about this, if it looks like your gonna get in trouble for this, than you can say that I threatened to rip your wings off if you didn't show me the way."
"I changed my mind I'm leaving you behind!" Happy cried suddenly.
"YOU TAKE ME OR I'LL RIP YOUR WINGS OFF CAT!" She growled.
Happy padded miserably along on the ground.
"Yes Ma'm." He sighed.
"So, where do you and Natsu live?" Lucy asked
Happy looked up at Lucy, "We live in the guilds dorm." He replied.
"Oh, so, are there any good restaurants where you guys like to go eat?" Lucy was only beginning this conversation to get the little guys spirits up.
"Yeah, everyone loves the Twisted Tree's Tavern, it's in the village and it's got really good food. If your sick of food at the guild and drinks at the guilds bar then pretty much everyone will go there."
"Oh, sounds like a nice place." Lucy said, smiling.
Happy nodded, "Aye! Mrs. Marisa and her husband Mr. Clark have been running the place since they were twenty, and their both forty something years old. The Taverns been around since Woodsy Village was built around a railroad station. It's been passed down through their family for years."
"So, how much farther is it?" Lucy asked, they had been walking for over an hour now.
"We've got about two more miles to get to Woodsy Village."
"Thank god." Lucy sighed, she could handle two miles.
"But Lushy, our guild isn't in the village." Happy said.
"Wha...?" Lucy murmured.
"After we get to the village, then get through the village, the hall is about fifteen miles from there." Happy said.
Lucy hit the ground with a thud.
"I'll never make it." She sobbed.
