Ch. 18 Valley Zone p1: The Man Without the Plan! Reyn and the Crest of Risks!
Ch 17 Review (Misty P.O.V)
Everything at first is starting too weird. First I noticed that Cade, John Alec, and Ashlyn were all missing from class today along with there brothers and sisters along with some other people who are band too. When I tried to ask George he was about to bail but the bell rang just in time for him to escape. I leave school and this kid named Rick bullied me calling me a slut but I slapped him the face so hard he fell to the ground and started bleeding and never noticed I had that strength. I met up with my brother Rytlock and then I realized that the others went to save the digital world and that was when a black vortex came and snagged me and my brother away.
Darren: After that Wormmon, V-mon, and I were able to get Mark to realize that he wasn't just a paperweight and we were able to purify the Destroyer Sword into the Alforce Sword and fix Heaven Zone and get rid of Leopardmon X all together. I gathered the two crystal fragments and then we were on our way to Valley Zone
Jamie: Meanwhile we ended up in the Egg Zone with no excitement at all. All we got to do is have kill to MetalSeadramon and all we needed to do that was have Zeq and Markel work their magic and make UberOmnimon and then boom bye-bye MetalSeadramon. Both me and Markel said we still liked each other then we left for Valley Zone
Me: Finally we get back to me. Me and Rytlock find Lunamon and Coronamon who have also been split apart from their friends by a mysterious force so me and Rytlock help them find their friends. Rytlock while running for his life met up with Cade and the others but then that same bug got me and Lunamon and forced me to tell them where the crest of life was. I didn't know so now I'm stuck. But don't worry I'm totally most likely getting out of this. Right?
***DSS Headquarters Third Person P.O.V***
"Looks like our children have again gone into the digital world and they didn't even invite us," said Thomas Gredder.
"We don't need to be over there this time because something more important has risen up," said a girl from the back.
"So finally Tristan and Carrie Auburn took up our invitation and have some news to sure," said Andrew Mains, "let's hear it shall we."
"We've provided some excellent colored charts for this presentation so please take a look," said Tristan.
"As you now it the end of when Belphemon attacked in 1990, he said one final thing," said Carrie.
"The Mid Quartile will take my place and soon all will perish," said Charlene Mains.
"Exactly, in some of these children even the dark one's the quartiles and the extremes are shown in the crests," said Tristan.
"What does an extreme do exactly?" asked Michael Gredder.
"The crest is based on two main things, the amount of strength and the amount of tactical advantages on posseses. There are many other factors but these two are the most important. The upper extreme has all strength and very little tactical experience while the lower extreme is the exact opposite. This is how crest merge happens, when two opposites collide and form a new bond where strength and tactics are at there midpoint. The only one where that doesn't occur is the neutral," said Tristan.
"The crest of courage is the upper extreme, and the crest of patience is the lower extreme. The crests of determination and sincerity are the upper and lower quartiles respectively," said Carrie, "The neutral is a new crest that just showed up at my door step, at glowed when my son, Rytlock put it on just a week ago. The crest is the Crest of Confusion or otherwise known as the Allsbound Crest."
"The Allsbound crest was supposed to be destroyed along with Lucemon 25 years ago, it's power is too dangerous. The reason why it's called the Crest of Confusion is because the power to have the power of every single crest wrapped into one was really confusing," said Harry Darswright.
"I guess it came back and that crest is the neutral," said Tristan.
"The real question is who is the Mid Quartile," said Thomas.
"It's either the crest of the divine or the crest of hatred held by Jayden Guike and Alex Grace. There both considered the Mid Quartile but it could be either one or both," said Carrie.
"What can these extremes and quartiles do exactly," said Charlene.
"They all have immense stored powers that are named amoung the digital world and are either famous or infamous for their power. The Upper and Lower Quartiles make up the Alforce Crest which uses the power of Alforce. The Extremes make a power known as Uprising and what the Mid Quartiles possess is known as Lirkness which is a crazy combination of Light and Darkness. The Neutral possess all three," said Tristan.
"Lirkness, that power is crazy if used incorrectly, we need to tell them as soon as or if they come back," said Andrew.
"How, are digivices are destroyed we won't be able to communicate," said Thomas.
"We got to tall someone they know that isn't right now in the digital world and I know George, Sarah, and Michelle aren't so we have to tell them to warn the others of the incredible power they are using and to watch out for Alex Grace," said Andrew.
"Agreed, but one more thing. All of them can tap into this power by themselves but it will be stronger when they are together so just make sure they know that when you go alright," said Carrie.
"Gotcha, I'll be back in a jiffy alright," said Thomas running out of the room and going heading in the direction of George's apartment.
"Good, now all we do is wait," said Tristan.
"Let's hope they can get thereselves out of this one," said Harry. Then they all nodded.
Chapter 18 The Forgotten Kid! The Crest That Was Not To Be!
Thomas P.O.V.
I started rushing over to the school and I just started to think. There were 16 digidestined in the digital world not including John Alec for being a digimon hybrid who's partnered with Ashlyn. There was still something I was worried about. Those Dark Crest that were mentioned from before by Jayden and the people who were on Daemon's team during Breaker's. These guys were Jayden, Jason, Sigma, Alex Grace, blank person, and then there has to be one other person meaning there were two people unaccounted for. Drake doesn't count because he didn't have a crest before most likely because Daemon thought he was too young and also that he was going to turn on him soon so he never gave Drake a Dark Crest and instead never darkened the crest of cooperation. It's been about two blocks now and I looked over to my left as I was stopping by and realized I missed the school so I turned around. Before I could though I saw a kid paralyzed with fear covering his eyes with a colored snow hat while a truck was about to come over and smash him upside the head.
"Hey kid, look out," I said frantically waving my arms out to him and then he looked up and screamed. I ran out to reach him and I did. I jumped in and got him out of harm's way. Luckily he didn't walk that far out from the sidewalk or we both would've been road kill.
"Kid you gotta watch where you're going," I said to him and then he started crying covering his eyes again with his snow cap that had two little cloth balls at the bottom that reached down to the middle of his green polo short-sleeve shirt. The top button wasn't buttoned leaving his shirt a little messy. He wore dark blue jeans that were rolled up to the top of his middle of the bottom portion of his legs. He wore green and white shoes that were laced and had a hint of yellow on them. He had dark hair that looked green but it just might be from the hat. His hair wasn't special as it was just wavy. The one trait that was different though was those light purple eyes that I've never even seen before. The kid isn't wearing contacts so that must be natural. He didn't look a day over 10 years old.
"What's your name little buddy," I said to him in a calm manner.
"Th-The-The name is T-Tybalt. Tybalt S. Michaels to be exact sir," said the kid scarred.
"Don't worry Tybalt everything is going to be alright. Here have this," I said giving him a chocolate bar. He at first kept his head buried in his hat but then took it out and tried some of the chocolate and liked it and he ate the whole thing in one bite afterwards.
"That was the first time I ever had chocolate before," Tybalt said smiling, "that's something I can take of my bucket list."
"Don't think about death Tybalt your only 10 years old about you have a lot more to live for," I said.
"No, I'm gonna kill myself because everyone hates me, I'm not good at anything so I might as well just leave life," said Tybalt. What's this world coming to, the kid is turning suicidal and he's only 10.
"Don't even say that about yourself alright. I'm pretty sure that you have a friend or two that loves you alright," I said to him.
"No there isn't even my older brother, Reyn doesn't love me as much as he says he does and my parents shut me out because Reyn is such a big swim star and I can't do shit," said Tybalt crying. Damn these children know how to curse already, I know how to get to the bottom of this. I picked him up and then he said, "Put me down!"
"No way! I saved your life and I'm not going to just let you waste your life because a couple of people don't like you. We're going to the high school and were going to smooth things out with your brother right now. By the name of Thomas Gredder I'll make sure a kid doesn't die today even if it kills me in the process," I said. When we reached the school since it was after school on a Monday there should be band practice. I walked out onto the football field and saw George taking notes and that girl Alyssa that my niece says is a real bitch bossing around the freshman. One even started doing laps probably to get away from her. She seems evil enough to be holding a Dark Crest. I looked to the left and saw a kid who Tybalt pointed out as his brother Reyn. He wore a plain white shirt and blue-greenish shorts with the Miami Dolphins on them. He had hair just like Tybalt's and he had bright orange and red eyes which again is not a normal I color. He's about the same height as Jayden but had more muscle and he also had some facial hair. He had a beard and mustache that was nearly shaved. Reyn also wore a head band that had the sun on it and it's been faded completely white meaning it must be something special in his family. He played the tenor sax and was actually not bad at it considering he's most likely more focused on swimming. I walked up to me and before I got to him came at me but George intervened.
"What seems to be the problem Reyn," said George.
"This rapist has my younger brother," said Reyn.
"I might be the age for a child molester but I sure ain't one got that," I said then continued, "your brother here purposely ran in front of truck intent on getting killed." Reyn looked surprised then was upset. But not before his eyes looked like there was literally fire in them.
"What the hell were you thinking!" said Reyn them he slapped his brother on the face, "I don't want you to die. Mom would've killed me to and second of all if you ever try something only a dumbass would do if you come out alive I'll literally make it so that you won't get out of a wheelchair you got that!" Then he punched his brother in the stomach leaving Tybalt in pain and then he got up.
"This is why I didn't want to be here, because of you!" Tybalt said coughing blood. How strong is this Reyn kid? He's got Jamie's strength without any extra help from a crest.
"You take that back or I'll-," yelled Reyn.
"You'll punch me again hurt me more then I already am. This is why I want to die because of constant pain from you. You're always raging and rushing and not getting the whole story. You have the athletic ability and you still don't think you have enough. You're greedy and you hurt people especially me. I wish you were dead and that I never had a brother because my life would be at least 75% pain-free. Everyone always picks on me and hurts me then you add on to it every other damn day. I'm sick of you and my life which is why I don't want to be on this Earth related to someone like you, you-you insensitive piece of shit!" yelled Tybalt at the top of lungs. Then he covered his eyes in his hat and ran away while a freshman ran after him because anything to get away from Alyssa was a good thing.
"That was the first time Tybalt wasn't shy enough to share his feelings. He wasn't stuttering at all. He really does hate me," said Reyn. Reyn then laid on his knees and started bawling.
"I thought I loved him, I thought he loved me but I was the stupid one," said Reyn, "I'm the one that's the problem not him."
***Cade P.O.V***
We were still looking for the crest of life and I mean the real crest of life while Drake just finished his with paper Mache and glue. He didn't know how to make it glow but with the right light he found a way to make it so that it looked like it was glowing. Rytlock and Coronamon bounded happily through the forest in a way that no one else could accept for me back in the first time I came to the digital world.
"Hey Cade," said Kumamon.
"Yeah," I said to him happy that someone finally decided to talk on this walk other than Drake and Rytlock who were obviously best friends.
"You looked like you knew Rytlock from before we even first saw him. How do you know him already," said Kumamon.
"I was 9 when we went to the digital world so this was about a year and a half later about when I still haven't seen you for a long time. So 3 years ago I was in 5th grade and it was soccer season in January," I started…
***Flashback***
I was walked on the field kicking the ball up high in the air juggling it while John Alec was doing the same thing next to me when I heard someone call for help.
"Someone please help!" I heard from around the other side of the school. It was about 10 minutes after the 1st practice ended and already someone was mad at a first or second grader and mad that they took their spot. John Alec and I ran over to the other side of the school only to see a 7 year old second grader about to jump by 2 5th graders who were both in my class.
"What are you guys doing tormenting a 2nd grader?" asked John Alec furiously, "couldn't find anyone else your own size to beat up or you too scared of the other 5th graders."
"No were just showing this kid what it feels like to have something taken away from you like how he took away my spot on the soccer team," said Garret (This was the kid who bothered me during reading class that day I beat Sigma).
"Yeah we're going to show him whose boss," said Jackson (Who at basically this time was the bullies
bitch until he moved next year).
"You guys low are so it makes me sick, I meant are so low sorry speech thing," I said to him.
"Hey you and this kid have the same speech problem," laughed Garret punching the kid in the jaw causing one of his teeth to fall out and he started to cry. John Alec ran over to Garret and punched Garret in the face hard enough to knock him and Jackson down (This is before John Alec controlled his temper).
"Do you want any more where that came from," said John Alec pissed.
"No were cool we'll go now," said Garret running away with possibly a broken jaw.
"Yeah we'll go," said Jackson and they both ran off with each other. John Alec picked up the kid by the arms and placed him standing then we both knelt down to his level which is the first time I had to do that in a while considering I haven't grown a lot. The kid was only about 3' 5"so I was 6 inches taller than him and John Alec was 3 inches taller than me.
"Thank you guys for helping me. I know don't happen would if you didn't save me. I mean-," said the kid.
"I know what you would've said," I said, "I kind of have the same problem. Just think before you say the words and it should be easier to say them correctly."
"Thanks, Cade. You are the soccer… captain aren't you. Hey I said it right that time," said the kid smiling even though he had a black eye and a bloody nose.
"Yes I am, so how fight did that start," I said (As you see I had a bigger problem with this before than ever).
"Well they were mad because they said I didn't deserve to be on the soccer team because they were about to leave and I had 2 years after this one. I was about to ask you that I was going to quit but then I decided not to so they brushed me up to this corner and started hitting me so I called for help. Yes I said that with no slip ups," said the kid.
"Hey wait you're the new goalie who replaced Jackie aren't you. I saw that you were even better then him," said John Alec smiling at the 2nd grader.
"Thanks, I've always wanted to be great goalie ever since my dad said he was the top goalie on the U.S. soccer team," said the kid, "I want to be just like him when I grow up."
"That's great. By the way you may know me but I'm Cadence Gredder but you can call me Cade," I said.
"The name's John Alec and that's what they call me, what's your name," said John Alec.
"My name is Rytlock Auburn and I'm in the second grade," said Rytlock.
"Is your sister by any chance named Misty," said John Alec.
"Yeah she is!" said Rytlock," You know her?"
"I do and she is a really nice person and you're lucky to have a sister like her," said John Alec.
"Hey I also know your mom, we live next to each other. Why don't we go over there and talk about how this happened alright," I said.
"Alright, thanks again for help your," said Rytlock.
"No problem," said both me and Cade. Rytlock, John Alec, and I all got into my mom's car that had Jamie in it and then we got out about 5 minutes later. John Alec had to go and I decided to start walking Rytlock home.
"How did you make such a good friend even though you have speech problems and ADHD and that stuff," said Rytlock, "all everyone's done so far is laugh at me."
"You just have to find someone that has something in common with you or find someone that doesn't care what's wrong with you," I said to him, "I had the same problem you did but John Alec found me and we became best of friends okay so don't even think that because of any social impairments people won't like you. Well we're here so let's say high to your mom and dad shall we."
***End Flashback***
"I guess he must have found Drake as someone who didn't care about what any problems that he had," I said to Kumamon.
"I'm gonna guess that too since he hasn't done anything out of the ordinary yet," I said.
"Hey Cade were nearing the gate to where the crest of life is, we're even closer to freeing Misty," said Ashlyn holding me tight happy that she is about to get her friend.
"That whore is gonna get it for capturing a 13 year old girl, I wonder what's she's doing to her," said Mary.
"Torture by tickling," said Zeq joking then Mary slapped him across the head, "hey I thought it was funny." Everyone looked at him and face palmed looking ashamed at Zeq.
"You so thought it was funny when Mitchell went through the same thing and he was younger than us, heck he was only 12," said Zeq.
"Now it's different because were older," said Mary.
"Whatever have it your way," said Zeq brushing it off.
"Hey guys stop the chatter we've arrived," said Jayden, "were gonna do it."
"Yes I'm gonna find my sister even if it's the last thing that I do," said Rytlock.
"When we reached the gate we noticed that the crest of life was blocking the way to the inside," said Markel.
"Why are you narrating what we're doing?" asked Jamie.
"I don't know, so that if there was anyone else watching," said Markel.
"I was watching," said someone in the bushes with a cheery voice. I was most likely Lilithmon.
"I thought you guys would never find this place. You can take this bitch back she was starting to become a real pain in the ass anyway," said Lilithmon throwing Misty to the ground.
"Misty!" said Rytlock hugging her and crying, "I thought…you were..gone."
"It's alright Rytlock I'm here and Lunamon is here too," said Misty.
"Lunamon!" said Coronamon excitedly.
"Coronamon! Where were you?" asked Lunamon.
"Here I guess but I guess now is the part when we take down the evil witch and make her into a Goth Sunday," said Coronamon pointing straight at Lilithmon.
"Why you little runt calling me a witch I should smite thee with my own hand but there is no time for that. Boys take care of these kids won't you," said Lilithmon and then she disappeared into the gate where the crest was. I tried to follow but I was stopped by an AxeKnightmon and NeoVamdemon both with the X-Antibody enhancing their strength making them 2 levels higher than the Super Ultimate they already are. None of us can beat that even with the power of the combined crest put together but we're going to have to try anyway.
"Let's go Execute Super Spirit Evolution… BanchoIceLeomon," I said.
"Let's go H to D evolution… Seraphimon," said John Alec.
"Seraphimon, BanchoIceLeomon Digi-Xros to IceAngelmon," said John Alec, Ashlyn and I.
"V-mon, Wormmon, Super-Xros… AlforceKuwagamon," said Darren and Mark.
"Agumon and Gabumon, Super-Xros… UberOmnimon," said Zeq and Markel. The 3 of us fought both AxeKnightmon and NeoVamdemon and it was fighting pretty evenly but it seemed as they weren't using their full power when they were fighting because they just blew UberOmnimon away when he came up and tried to use his sword on AxeKnightmon. How are we ever going to be able to win against these guys? Jamie ran into the fray catching NeoVamdemon off-guard for a second but he soon retaliated and blocked Jamie's attack and knocked her back.
"Damn it my sword is too weak I can't penetrate him," said Jamie.
"I don't have the strength to use my sword on him and you can't handle its power meaning we were stuck," said Mark.
"We'll find a way but it's going to take a miracle to win this time," said Matt and J.T. at the same time.
***Reyn P.O.V***
I still couldn't believe after all this time my brother hated me with his guts and he stopped being so shy but at the cost of my emotional feeling. I was still crying and everyone had left the field all ready. I saw a green flash of light and out came a small white loin wearing red armor.
"Hey don't be down, Reyn," he said and it was creepy how he knew my name, "I'm sure your brother loves you but right now he's in the digital world and needs your help." Am I just going crazy now or is this guy actually serious.
"Really he's in the digital world, how the hell did he get in there?" I asked.
"The evil powers saw how your brother was mad and hurt and used it to their advantage, we gotta help him," said the lion kid.
"He wouldn't want my help anyway considering how much he just said that he hated me. Besides Jayden is over there and I think he can save my brother right," I said to him still upset. Then he jumped onto me and slapped me on the face multiple times and said, "You need to wake up my friend and stop not being yourself. I've seen you for many years. You take action and when others don't want to and your courage surpasses regular human limits. With my weapon powers and your strength we can take down the evil and save your brother. Right now your friends need help before they all help. You're not going to let your friends die, WOULD YOU!" he said yelling at me in the end.
"My brother says I rage too easily and I would just hurt them in the process," I said.
"Then take an anger management class and apologize to your brother when we get there," said the lion.
"Your right whoever you are, I need to wake up and apologize to my brother and you're my ticket there," I said.
"By the way it's Spadamon," said Spadamon and then he handed me a tag and crest I saw Jayden wore and then the same type fusion loader that he also had, "these are your ticket to saving him. This is the crest of risks and a fusion loader. The crest of risks is an upgraded crest of courage. Now say 'Zone Transfer' and wave the Fusion Loader to make a portal."
"Alright then. Zone Transfer," I said waving the fusion loader and a portal appeared out of thin air.
"Now were in business," said Spadamon.
"I'm going in there even if my brother or anyone else doesn't want me over there. I love my brother even though he might not think so. I'll be known as the Hero today," I said smirking and then the crest started to glow a nice bright red and the fusion loader started to grow golden.
"Say Super Evolve and point the fusion loader at me," said Spadamon.
"Alright then Spadamon…Super-Evolve!" I said.
"Spadamon super evolve to… JetSpadamon," said Spadamon.
"Armor-Xros myself and Spadamon… Reyn Xros-Jet," I said. Now on my back was a golden painted lightweight jetpack. Also I had a sword in my hand and two pistols in my pocket.
"Now Reyn is back in the kitchen folks so evil beware. I'm going to kick your ass tonight," I said.
"That's the ticket, take the risk and save your friends no matter what the cost," said JetSpadamon.
"Yeah! And JetSpadamon thanks for helping me get back up on my feet," I said.
"No problem glad to be of service to ya," said JetSpadamon. We went a superfast speed into Valley Zone not stopping to look at the sky and saw someone fighting up at the top and the others were down below. Funny I could see this far and I guess Spadamon has something to do with that. I rushed down to them and they were surprised.
"Reyn how did you get here and with the jetpack and air flight goggles and the sword," said Jayden.
"With a little help, but now whose up over there fighting?" I asked.
"It's BioShoutmon who if you didn't know was Shoutmon and Jamie combined so don't worry," said Jayden.
"What happened to everyone else," I said, "there is two guys up there and only one of her."
"I hate it to but all the other digimon got injured fighting so she's our last line until Cutemon and the Alforce sword and heal the rest of them," said Markel.
"You got this fancy new get-up maybe you can finish it. If you can knock AncientVolcanmon X with one kick then surely enough you can take down a couple to these digimon," said Mary.
"When did this happen," said Matt.
"During swim practice a couple of days before you came," said Zeq.
"Let's finish it," I said speed up into the air purposefully crashing into the one that looks like a vampire.
"So now you want to tussle little man," said the 2 of the digimon.
"Gimme all you got asswipes. I don't have all day to tear to shreds with my sword," I said.
"Why you little punk. Let's see if you handle both of us," said the vampire as they both crashed into me. Then Jamie kicked them back to where they were.
"Forget about someone," said Jamie and Shoutmon.
"This is starting to get interesting," said the two of them laughing.
"I'll show you interesting alright, I'm going to save my brother and two flunkies aren't going to stop me from achieving my goal. Mark down the name Reynaldo J. Michaels because I'm the one that's gonna kick your asses to next weak got me." I said and BioShoutmon and I rushed straight into both of them.
What will happen to Reyn and the others? Will they defeat AxeKnightmon and NeoVamdemon? Figure out next time in the next Digimon Adventure!
Rytlock: We're going to win this fight for sure right? But after that with Misty's help we enter the Temple of Life where we find Lilithmon taking the two crystal fragments and the crest of life but before we show up and try to take her.
Reyn: During that time when Lilithmon starts hurting Misty personally to get the crest Rytlock goes off and a series of events start to unfold
