Chapter 21
Savitar moved into the room his muscles bunched in preparation for an attack, his eyes swept around the room before landing on Kyra's crumpled form on the floor surrounded by the women and Carson. His eyes hardened as he frowned more. Jared leaned over to quietly whisper in Ash's ear.
"Kiss your man good bye he is toast." Jaden hissed
"Kiss our asses good bye…" Jared mumbled
Ash grunted and moved to catch Savitar's gaze as he walked toward Kyra.
"Savitar what are you doing here?" Ash made sure to keep his voice level and calm. Savitar turned to look at him for a second before his eyes turned back to Kyra on the floor.
"I go where I please, this is my sanctuary after all. Besides my daughter called me here. Can someone explain to me what the fuck is going on before I burn this place to the ground?" Mama Lo stood quickly moving to stand before him.
"Your daughter and her guardians took sanctuary here at our home some time ago. Well here she found her match and is now with child. There was an altercation here which caused her to go into labor. We need your help to either stop the labor or remove her bindings so that she can give birth." Mama Lo made sure to keep her tone low, her eyes down and her open hands in his line of sight. The rage was coming off Savitar in waves and making all the Werehunters nervous, several began slinking away from the bar toward the kitchen door.
"How far a long is she?" Savitar's voice was as sharp as steel but his eyes softened as he approached Kyra's form on the floor. She whimpered and rolled toward him tears in her eyes.
"Three months, is that too soon? Am I losing the babies!" She cried as Savitar rubbed a hand over her forehead. He sat down next to her his legs crossed and began humming as he took her right hand in his and worked on removing the binding from her wrist.
"No my little angel, you're not going to lose the babies, it's just time for them to come out. Three months is a long time in the womb for a baby that's half god and half dark hunter. Athena was born out of Zeus head after only a few days. Your little ones will be fine." He moved on to the next hand ignoring the crowd behind them as he worked.
"See you're so fucked, he didn't even need to ask who the father was." Jaden leaned in toward Ash where he stood next to Blade. Ash shoved Jaden by the shoulder and elbowed Jericho on his other side and in a low tone mumbled.
"Take Blade, Nick, the women and the Dogs of War back to my house for now you should be safe there." Everyone had started moving toward the door as soon as he finished talking. Blade didn't make it wto feet before he doubled over choking. Ash swung around to face Savitar. Still on the floor with Kyra but he had turned around his eyes glowing and his right arm extended hand clenched closed.
"He will not be going anywhere. Do not look at me that way Ash. I will not kill your man, he is bound to Kyra and I cannot kill him without killing my own baby." He released Blade, who began gasping for air, and removed the last binding around Kyra's neck. Nodding to Carson he kissed Kyra on the forehead and stood slowly.
"Take her upstairs, the labor should progress quickly from here. I will be up there shortly." Then he turned to Ash and the others eyes glowing bright lavender.
"I cannot kill him. But he and I will be having a rather important conversation." Jaden and Jared both grunted and moved away from Ash and Blade.
"You two will also be staying around for a little chat." Savitar stated as he cracked him knuckles.
