AUSTIN'S POV

It felt like my heart had jumped out of my chest, fallen on the ground, and shattered into a million pieces. Ally was my best friend, the most beautiful girl in the world, and the angel who stole my heart. And she just broke up with me.

"Hey Austin! Check this out; we found a-" Dez stopped mid-sentence when he saw my tear-stained face.

"Whoa, are you ok?" he asked.

I shook my head no.

"What happened?" he asked, taking a seat across from me.

"A-Ally just br-broke up with m-me" I managed to get out in between sobs.

Dez nodded, stood up and got a pencil and a notepad, then sat back down.

"Dez, what are you doing?"

"Lucky for you, my friend, I happen to be an expert when it comes to relationships. They call me "the Love Whisperer."

I shook my head at the redhead's crazy antics. However, for Dez, this wasn't that unusual.

"I have to get her back Dez. I love her; I need to get her back."

"I may be able to help you," Dez tapped his pencil against his chin. "Tell Dr. Dez what happened."

"We were video chatting and I told her about the tour going international. She seemed really happy for me at first. Then I told her I'm leaving next week and she asked how long I will be gone. I told her a couple of months and she broke up with me. She said she couldn't do long distance anymore and that she can't be in a relationship with someone she never gets to see in person."

"Ok," Dez nodded. "I think we can fix this. Let's come up with a plan to get you and Ally back together."

Being a pop star is super cool, but news travels fast in this business. There's always someone trying to find out something about you to put on a magazine cover. News of the break-up spread like wildfire. It seemed like every magazine had a picture of my face in a heart on the cover with the words "He's Single" in all caps underneath of it. Girls flirted with me and/or did something to try to get my attention all day. Some guys would love to be in my position right now, but I didn't care about any of those girls. I only want Ally.

I dialed the number again hoping and praying that Ally would pick up her phone.

"Hi Austin."

Her voice was monotone and emotionless.

"Ally, you picked up!"

"You've been calling me all day. What is it?"

"I'm not letting you go this easy."

"Austin-"

"Come on tour with me; you'll get to see the world. I know how much you want to do that. "

"As much as I would love to do that, I can't. I have to work and go to school. You know that."

"You can get tutoring on tour like me-"

"But I still have to work. Austin, I love you and I don't want to do this, but-"

"Then don't do it. We can make this work, Als."

"I'm sorry; I can't. It is so hard being away from you. I'm so proud of you and I'm so happy your dream is coming true, but I can't live like this. I can't keep worrying about when I'm going to see you again or about you kissing other girls, or-"

"I didn't kiss her," I told Ally.

"You didn't?"

"No. I've never kissed Shaylie."

"Well, I'm happy about that. But it doesn't change the fact that I can't date someone who's never around. Besides, there are a million girls out there who would jump at the chance to date you."

"I don't care. I am not giving up on you, Als."

"I'm sorry; you're just going to have to let me go. I have to get back to work. Goodbye Austin."

"Ally-"

I called after her, but she had already hung up.
