Metropolis November 21, 2057 8:00 p.m.
Inside an abandoned supermarket; a white Martian gets thrown to some large shelves, knocking them down. Scandal Savage slowly approaches to the Martian wielding her traditional arm blades. "The first mistake you made is coming alone and your second mistake is trying to capture me" Scandal tells the Martian who tackles it. She begins punching the Martian while it tries to defend itself.
The white Martian blocks Scandal's attack and counter with a punch to the side of her head. The Martian then picks up his gun, aiming toward Scandal but she uses her arm blade to slice it in half. The Martian uses its stealth ability, making it impossible for Scandal to find it. "So you want to play hide and seek? I have no problem with that" Scandal tells the Martian.
Scandal begins to search for the white Martian who uses its stealth. The Martian reappears, using its telekinesis to slam Scandal against a nearby wall. "I hope you enjoyed your freedom because you're returning to Fluxus" the white Martian with a male voice tells Scandal who tries to get up. The Martian attempts to perform another telekinesis attack when a green and white blur appears to attack him.
"We're here to find supplies, and here you are fighting with one of the Martians" Thaddeus says to Scandal who helps her up. "The damn thing was following me" Scandal tells the speedster.
"They really want you don't they" Thaddeus asks. The white Martian quick recovers, phasing through the floor. "Shit, we better get out of here. That Martian is going to bring back up" Scandal tells Thaddeus. Scandal picks up two cases of thirty-five bottles of water while Thaddeus activates the Mother Box. Minutes later; five white Martians appear at the supermarket but are too late as Scandal and Thaddeus are gone.
Resistance Army HQ November 21, 2057 9:26 p.m.
A boom tube opens at the main room where Scandal and Thaddeus exits from it. "Only two cases of water" said Emily who enters the room with Duela Dent. "It's not safe out there" Thaddeus tells Emily.
"Gee you think" Deula tells the speedster. "Damn Martians won't stop until they find me" Scandal said. "We didn't get a chance to get more stuff" Thaddeus tells them.
"I don't know about the rest of you but I'm sick and tired of hiding" an angry Scandal tells them.
"I know how you feel. Everyone is tired of hiding" said Terry who enters the room along with Damien, Cassandra, Kyle, and Deborah.
"So what are we waiting for? Let's go to STAR Labs and get that plant" Thaddeus tells the resistance team.
"We can't just go to STAR Labs without a plan" Kyle tells Thaddeus. "When Zoe took out a majority of the white Martians including herself, they've been on guard" Terry says.
"They know that we're heading to STAR Labs. They will do whatever it takes to guard the plant" Scandal says.
"You think it's impossible to raid STAR Labs" said Bruce who enters the room. "I'm going to take a wild guess you have a plan" said Scandal. "Doesn't he always" Terry, Damien, and Cassandra say at the same time.
STAR Labs November 22, 2057 1:00 a.m.
"It's been over twenty-four hours and neither of you could find Scandal Savage" said an angry Fluxus who looks at several white Martians. "I did found her at a supermarket in downtown Metropolis but she and that speed demon escape" the white Martian tells Fluxus.
"You let her escape? Is that what you're telling me" Fluxus, still angry asks as he approaches the white Martian. The Martian who explained its actions doesn't respond. Fluxus proceeds to grab the Martian by the throat, lifting it up. "You are white Martians; we are stronger than any being in this planet. And if we had Scandal Savage blood in our system, we would've been stronger than anyone in the galaxy" Fluxus shouts at the Martian.
Fluxus then throws the Martian near the laser grid that protects the rare plant. "Fluxus" a video screen appears which shows a dinosaur humanoid white Martian.
"A'monn, it's good to see you" said Fluxus. "What has happened" A'monn asks. "Well um, the blood transfusion generator was destroyed and we lost Scandal Savage" Fluxus tells A'monn.
"How did that happened" A'monn asks who becomes angry with Fluxus.
"Well it seems there is a resistance army. Not only did they rescue Scandal Savage but they also destroyed the blood transfusion generator as well. Along with a majority of our army" Fluxus tells A'monn.
"So not only you let some team of survivors rescue Scandal but the blood transfusion generator is destroyed" A'monn asks as he becomes more angry.
Fluxus doesn't respond so he looking while showing his expression of disappointment. "I don't even why I put you in charge, but you were successful at one point infiltrating this planet" said A'monn.
"Please let me make up to you. I have plan that not only will guarantee Scandal Savage capture but the elimination of the resistance army as well" Fluxus tells A'monn.
"You better because if you don't I will have to replace you" A'monn tells Fluxus. "Replace me? No offense A'monn but who would you find more superior than me. Surely you don't suggest Gr'onn" Fluxus asks A'monn who is not aware that the Martian scientist in the room.
"I will replace you" said a female voice. Fluxus and Gr'onn turn around to see a female white Martian wearing an all black with purple wave design outfit. She looks like M'gann but with a petite body and with long black hair. "No, no, no, absolutely not" Fluxus gets upset with A'monn.
"Is there a problem" A'monn asks Fluxus. "Your daughter, you're going to replace me with your daughter? You damn right there's a problem" Fluxus shouts while Gr'onn smiles in the background.
"Don't get too upset. If you are able to recapture Scandal Savage and take care of the band of survivors, then you won't be replaced. However fail me and my daughter Sa'rah will take your place" A'monn tells Fluxus as the video screen shuts off. Fluxus is about leave when he notices both Sa'rah and Gr'onn with a grin on their face. "You find something amusing" Fluxus asks Sa'rah and Gr'onn.
"You getting your ass chewed by my father" Sa'rah says to Fluxus.
Fluxus doesn't respond and just walk away. "You know since you're here, maybe you can do something useful for once. Like oh I don't know keep look out" Fluxus tells Sa'rah. Fluxus then looks to Gr'onn, glaring at him. "And as for you, that blood transfusion generator better be completed" Fluxus says as he leaves.
"So I notice that M'gann isn't here" Sa'rah says to Gr'onn. "She hasn't seen or heard of since the facility was destroyed" Gr'onn tells her.
"And Fluxus actually has a plan" Sa'rah asks. "Fluxus claims to say he has a plan. He wouldn't even tell me. I hope he fails" Gr'onn says.
"He will eventually" Sa'rah responds with a smirk on her face.
Metropolis November 23, 2057 7:00 p.m.
The team of Green Lantern, Deborah Morgna, Emily, and Thaddeus are on lookout five miles away from STAR Labs. Kyle is observing the area through binoculars see that the place is heavily guarded with white Martians. "I hope this plan works" said Deborah.
"It took days of planning why wouldn't it work" Thaddeus asks Deborah. "I don't know something doesn't seem right" Deborah tells the speedster.
"Kyle, we're in position" Batman contacts Green Lantern over the earpiece. "Gotcha we're ready" Green Lantern tells Batman over the earpiece. Thaddues, Emily, Deborah, and Green Lantern look at each other, nodding in agreement. "Okay, wish me luck" Thaddeus says who puts on his thermal goggles winking at Deborah. Thaddeus uses his super speed to head to the STAR Labs but as he about to head there, an explosion occurs.
"Oh no Thad" Deborah shouts, worried that Thaddeus got hurt from the explosion. "They knew we were coming" said Green Lantern. "Oh you have no idea" said a male voice. Green Lantern, Deborah, and Emily turn around to see a shadow figure approaching them who turn out to be Gr'onn.
"Shock to see me" Gr'onn asks who grins at them. "How did you know we were going to show up" Emily asks Gr'onn.
"You should all answer yourself this question; what's the worst that could happen to all of you" Gr'onn says who looks back. Two tanks along with several white Martians who are heavily armed approach the resistance army. "Batman, it's a trap" Green Lantern contacts him from his earpiece but only hears static.
"Something wrong" Gr'onn asks Green Lantern. "What did you do" Emily asks.
"If you were trying to contact the other members of the resistance army who are inside STAR Lab, don't bother" Gr'onn tells them who gives the other white Martians a hand gesture as they aim their guns at the team. Green Lantern, Deborah, and Emily look at each other for a second then Kyle uses his ring to create a barrier, allowing them to escape. "Stop them at once" Gr'onn shouts as the white Martian begins to fire.
"Kyle, you there" Red Robin contacts Green Lantern but gets static.
"Something's wrong, I'm only getting static" Red Robin tells the other members of the resistance army who are inside STAR Labs. "I'm getting static too" Batman tells Red Robin.
"Something's wrong" Black Bat tells the team. "First the explosion and now hearing static" Scandal Savage says. "We got to get out now" Batman tells the team.
"You're not going anywhere" Fluxus tells the resistance army who appears with a dozen of heavily armed white Martians. "It's a trap" said Red Robin.
"You have no idea. The other four members of your resistance army are getting eliminated as we speak" Fluxus tells Red Robin.
"How did you know about this" Batman asks Fluxus. "I have someone on the inisde to tell me everything" Fluxus tells Batman.
"There was a spy within the resistance army? Who would betray us" Black Bat asks as the other members of the army look at each otther minus Deula Dent who looks down. Batman, Reb Robin, Black Bat and Scandal notices Duela not looking at them who just looks down at the floor.
Deula Dent looks at the resistane army as her eyes turn green. In seconds, Duela Dent transforms into Miss Martian revealing that she was spying on the resistance army all along. "What the hell happened to Dent" an angry Scandal asks Fluxus who glares at the large white Martian.
"Little piece of advice, the next you want to make an escape, don't go alone" Fluxus tells Scandal. "What have you done to Duela" Batman shouts.
"Let's just say what happen to Deula will happen to all of you. Except for you Scandal you're still needed" Fluxus says.
"So now what" Scandal asks Batman. "Getting out of here" Batman tells Scandal. "Too bad we're outnumbered" Scandal informs Batman.
"Maybe" Batman says to Scandal who drops a couple of flash pellets on the floor which blinds the white Martians. The bright light quickly disappears and the resistance army is gone. "Find them at once. They must not escape" Fluxus tells the white Martians. Fluxus takes out a remote, presses the button which activates a lockdown inside STAR Labs.
The resistance army try to make their exit but they notice the windows are being shut with a titanium door. "Crap they're not letting us leave" Scandal says. Several white Martians appear heavily armed with alien-like guns, shooting at the resistance army.
Back outside; Deborah tends to Thaddeus who wasn't hurt from the explosion that occured. "Thank god you're okay" Deborah says to Thaddeus. "Yeah for now, but we're not out of the woods yet look" Thaddeus tells Deborah who points to the direction where three tanks are approching them.
Emily along with Green Lantern comes at the right time. Green Lantern then blasts the cannon part of the tanks, destroying them. "We got to go now" Green Lantern tells Deborah and Thaddeus. "I would like to know how they know about our plan" said Thaddeus.
"We'll worry about that later" Green Lanter tells Thaddues. "He's right we're leaving" Deborah agrees.
"There's got to be a way out" Thaddeus says who looks around while Green Lantern creates a shield, protecting the resistance army. "Anytime now" Kyle tells Thaddeus who tries to shield the incoming blasts from the white Martians. "I don't see a way out" Thaddeus tells Green Lantern.
"You're gonna to have to make a run for it. Go on ahead, I'll hold them off" Green Lantern tells the resistance army. "But" Deborah responds to what Kyle says. "Just go I'll be right behind" Green Lantern tells her.
Thaddeus, Deborah, and Emily retreat while Green Lantern remains behind. Thaddeus looks around to see a manhole cover. "I found our way out" Thaddues tells Deborah and Emily who uses super speed to head there. Emily sees the lid but she suspect something is not right with it. "Thaddeus no" Emily tries to warn the speedster. But it's too late, as Thaddeus steps on the lid which activates a force field, trapping him inside.
Thaddeus pounds on the force field but he get an electric shock. "Emily, can you shut this off" Deborah asks. Emily tries to shut off the force field but doesn't realize the white Martian approaching her equipped with a large bazooka.
"Emily, behind you" Thaddeus shouts. Emily turns around to see white Martian aiming the large bazooka at her. The white Martian fires the bazooka which shoots energy ring blast . Emily and Deborah avoid the blast which hits a nearby tree, destroying it instantly. "Get out of here" Thaddeus tells Emily and Deborah. "We're not leaving you here" Deborah tells Thaddeus.
"Don't worry about me just go" Emily tells Deborah. With no choice in the matter as more white Martians are approaching them, Emily and Deborah retreat, leaving a captured Thaddeus behind. Green Lantern who is still shielding the attacks with his ring notices Thaddeus is in force field and is being taken by the white Martians. Kyle attempts to rescue Thaddeus but he doesn't pay attention to Gr'onn carrying an alien-like rocket launcher.
Gr'onn fires the weapon and a large burst of energy head towards the Green Lantern. He sees it, creates a force field to protect himself from the blast, but it still hits him. The effects of the blast causes Green Lantern to fall on the ground. Green Lantern tries to use his ring but it's out of power.
"What happen to my ring? I can't be out of power. I just recharge it" said a worried Green Lantern.
"Well the Green Lantern Corp is weak to anything of a yellow color. And a destructive yellow energy blast would work perfectly" Gr'onn tells Green Lantern who approaches him.
At a far distance away from STAR Labs Deborah looks back to Green Lantern being taken as well as Thaddeus. "There's nothing we can do. We have to go" Emily who grabs Deborah's arm tells her.
"I hope the others got out safe" Deborah says.
Back inside; Batman uses a miniature blowtorch to seal the double metal door. "That's not going to hold" Black Bat tells Batman. "It will buy use some time" Batman tells her as the white Martians try to bust through the door. "Anytime now" Scandal tells Batman and Black Bat as she jumps down to an open metal hatch.
"Go, I'll catch up. I'm almost done" Batman tells Black Bat who about to finish sealing the door with the blowtorch. Black Bat jumps down where she catches up with Scandal and Red Robin. "Where's Terry" Red Robin asks Black Bat. "He'll be right behind us" Cassandra tells Damien.
Batman finishes sealing the metal door and is about to head to the open hatch when Miss Martian phases through the ceiling blocking his exit. "M'gann, don't do this" Batman tries to reason with her. Then the metal doors that Batman sealed with the blowtorch gets destroyed. Fluxus enters the room along with several white Martians who are heavily armed with alien-like assault rifles.
"What was that" Red Robin asks who just heard an explosion. "I thought Terry was behind us" said Scandal who notices Batman isn't with them.
"You both go on ahead, I'll rescue Terry" Black Bat tells Scandal and Red Robin who heads back. Black Bat reaches to the entrance where the hatch is open, and throws some smoke pellets. The smoke surrounds the room as Black Bat makes a surprise attack on several white Martians. She sees Batman emerging from the smoke screen. "Thank god you're still here. Come on lets go" Black Bat tells Batman.
She heads to the hatch but Batman doesn't move. "Terry, come on" Black Bat tells Batman but he just smiles. Batman sends Black Bat against the wall with telekinesis. Black Bat recovers as she witness Batman transforms into Miss Martian.
"You should've retreated. You made it much easier for us to capture you" said Fluxus who use his telekinesis to blow away the smoke which shows Batman unmasked and unconscious. "Take them, they can join the Green Lantern and that little speed demon" Fluxus tells the white Martians.
"Fluxus" said Gr'onn who enters the room along with Sa'rah. "The four remaining members of the resistance army are underground. It looks like they're heading back to HQ" Sa'rah tells Fluxus.
In the sewers; Red Robin and Scandal catch up with Emily and Deborah. "Guys, Thaddeus and Kyle are captured" Deborah tells Damien and Scandal.
"Terry and Cassandra are captured too" Damien tells Deborah. "So what now" Scandal asks Damien.
"We need to head back" Damien tells Scandal. Red Robin, Deborah, and Emily head back to HQ by travel through the sewers while Scandal looks back for a second soon follow unaware of the white Martians who are using camouflage follow as well.
Inside the main room; A'monn appears on screen at the same time Fluxus, M'gann, Gr'onn, and Sa'rah enter. "A'monn, good new I have successfully captured members of the resistance army" Fluxus tells A'monn. This causes Sa'rah, Gr'onn, and M'gann glare at him for taking credit.
"So captured the resistance army" A'monn asks Fluxus. "Well not quite, we only captured four members" Fluxus tells A'monn.
"Funny I thought you said you successfully captured them. I always knew you're a self-centered son of a bitch. Taking credit for other people's work" A'monn says to Fluxus.
"I..will..find..them" Fluxus responds by grinding his teeth, trying to hold in his anger. "You will them alright. You promised me that the resistance army would be eliminated as well as the capture of Scandal Savage" A'monn tells Fluxus.
"I already send a team to go after them" Fluxus tells A'monn.
"Good, then you won't have no problem joining them to make that the resistance army is no more. As well as bringing Scandal Savage" A'monn tells Fluxus.
"Fine, but M'gann's coming with me" Fluxus tells A'monn who looks at Miss Martian as they both leave the main room.
"We're not to far from the secret passage" Red Robin says to who looking at his arm computer. "We have to make sure the Martians are not following us" Deborah said.
"I have an idea" Emily says who stops at sewer corridor. She places a small box on the middle of the water and begins setting it up. "You remember that last time you did that" Deborah says to Emily.
"Um yeah it worked remember" Emily tells Deborah. Emily finishes setting the device but she's unaware a white Martian who is camouflaged approaches behind her. "Okay we have thirty seconds to get the hell out of here" Emily tells them. She's about to leave with the resistance army when she notices something standing in front of her. She gets sent flying by telekinesis attack.
"You got to be kidding me" said Scandal who realize that the white Martians are here. The white Martian that attacked Emily reveals itself. Soon several more appear heavily armed. "Guys, get out here now" Emily tells Red Robin, Deborah, and Scandal.
"She's right there's only twenty seconds left" Red Robin tells Deborah and Scandal. With no choice, they leave Emily behind as the remain members of the resistance army retreat back to HQ. The white Martians begin to pursuit them but Emily grabs the small device, and get in front of the Martians, preventing them from going any further.
"Over here" Red Robin says who heads inside. Scandal and Deborah head inside which is a secret room. Red Robin closes the door which is made of titanium shut by turning the valve. At that time an explosion occurs as the door is able to withstand the impact. "Come on let's go" Red Robin tells them.
Red Robin and Scandal head to HQ while Deborah look at the door with sad look on face knowing that Emily sacrifice herself.
Resistance Army HQ November 22, 2057 8:40 p.m.
Bruce worries when he was unable to communicate with the resistance army , fearing that something bad has happened. Then a metal hatch opens as Red Robin, Scandal, and Deborah climb out of it. "Damien what happened" Bruce asks.
"M'gann posed as Duela Dent" Damien tells his father. "She told the other Martians" Scandal adds.
"Kyle, Cassandra, Thaddeus, and Terry are captured" Deborah tells Bruce. "And Emily" Bruce asks. "She um, she's visiting Zoe" Deborah tells Bruce.
"I see" said Bruce who realize what happened to Emily. "So what do we do now" Scandal Savage asks.
"Rescuing them is out the question" Bruce tells Scandal. "Well what then" Scandal asks.
"It's what Bart Allen did" Bruce says. "You're not suggesting we go back in time" Deborah asks Bruce. "It's the only way to stop the white Martian invasion" Bruce tells her.
"What do you mean stop the invasion" Deborah asks. "You want us to kill M'gann in the past don't you" Scandal asks Bruce.
"It has to be done. Head to the same entrance you came out from" Bruce tells them. "You want us to go back to the sewer" Deborah asks.
"Not quite" Bruce tells Deborah who heads to the controls. Bruce press a button and noise can be heard coming the secret passage Reb Robin, Deborah, and Scandal came out of.
"This will take you to a Zeta Tube, however you need to program it. It hasn't been used in years and it's only one left. It will take you to Easter Island with a time machine. The only problem it will only take one person" Bruce tells them.
"So that means only one us can go" said Damien. At that time the door explodes as Fluxus, M'gann and several armed white Martians enter HQ.
"So this is what's left of the resistance army? Well, well Bruce Wayne, didn't think you would live this long" said Fluxus.
"Scandal, you and Deborah head to the Zeta Tube. I'll hold them off" Damien says. "You honestly think you can take us all on? I don't whether to say you're brave or stupid" Fluxus says to Damien.
Damien then throws a flash grenade which releases a bright light, blinding every white Martian including Fluxus and M'gann. The bright light disappears as Fluxus tries to see he notices someone is heading toward, but individual gets sent flying with a telekinesis attack by M'gann who manage to see it.
The white Martians get the vision back caused by the flash grenade to see Red Robin down and Bruce Wayne consoling his son. Fluxus uses telekinesis to drop some debris on both Bruce and Damien which knocks them both out.
"You two, you're with me. M'gann, you and the others take those two" Fluxus says as he and the two white Martians head down to the secret passage. Scandal and Deborah are inside a room with a Zeta Tube.
"Please tell me you know how to activate it" Deborah says. "Yes I can. Once I get it working, head to the Zeta Tube" Scandal tells Deborah.
"Wait a minute you want me to go to the past? I thought you should go since what M'gann did to you" Deborah asks.
"Don't worry about what M'gann has to me. And besides M'gann is vulnerable to heat, you have better chance to kill her" Scandal tells Deborah.
Scandal finishes with the controls to activate the Zeta Tube but at the same time Fluxus and two white Martians enter the room. "You're not going anywhere" Fluxus tells two remaining resistance army members.
"Go now" Scandal shouts as Deborah runs to the Zeta Tube. "I don't need her. But you on the other hand, you're going back" Fluxus tells Scandal.
"I'm not going anywhere, but you on the other hand" Scandal tells Fluxus who shows him a remote. "You're going to hell" Scandal says who press the button on the remote.
The Bio-ship is heading back to STAR Labs. As M'gann looks back an explosion occurs realizing that the Resistance Army HQ has been completely destroyed.
Easter Island November 22, 2057 8:55 p.m.
Deborah exits out of Zeta Tube and is now in an abandoned Enforcer Headquarters. "Whoa" is what Deborah says who looks around the place.
"Um hello" said Deborah who calls out for anyone. "Okay, hands up" said an old man wearing a lab coat drawing a flamethrower at Deborah. She turns to the old man giving him a smirk.
"You really think you can burn me alive" Deborah tells him. "Sorry, I thought you would be one those Martians" said the old man.
"It's okay, but right we have a serious problem" Deborah says to old man. "By the way who are you" She asks. "Richard Malloy; I use to work at Wayne Enterprise" he tells Deborah.
"What happen" Richard asks. "The resistance army is no more. We lost" Deborah tells Richard.
"I was afraid of this. Bruce told that he had a backup plan just in case" Richard says. He press a switch which turns on the light, showing a time machine.
"I know what must be done" said Deborah.
"In order to save the future, you must kill Miss Martian" Richard tells Deborah who begins setting up the time machine.
Man sorry for taking so long but I been having writer's block, but thank god I finished. Just to let you all know that this story is ending soon.
