Hey there peoples of the Interwebs! Today is kinda the day a lot of you have been waiting for. Kinda. You'll see what I mean. Just know that I love you all... and we've passed the 11,600 views mark in a week. O.o Anyways, yesterday when I was leaving school, I managed to step on this crack where the concrete is about an inch higher than the rest. My ankle was like "Nope! Have fun with the ground!" I went down and tried not to kill myself by leaning back a bit. Unfortunately, my left knee smashed into the concrete when I did that. Nothing broken, just a nice red flesh wound and plenty of bruising. (And in my gym class we're rock climbing. Wasn't too bad luckily.) XD To review response time!

Silverwing whirred in delight as she sat down on the top of my helm. A smile graced my lip plates as innocent happiness poured from my femmling's spark.

"Danni!"

My spark soured every time she called me that. "Yes, Silverwing?"

"I taller than you!" She giggled

"You are, are you?"

"Ya!" I couldn't help but laugh lightly before lifting my servo up for her. She crawled onto it, nuzzling against my digit. I brought her down to optic level and looked her over. Sil' had grown quite a bit, going from her original 7 and a half inches to a little over 13. Her glowing white wings fluttered a bit as she smiled at me. Curiosity danced through our bond as she glanced around. "Where Grandsire?"

"He's on a mission with Grandpa Ratchet, Uncle 'Hide, Aunt Chromia, and, uh Skids…"

"Skid green?" She asked with a titled helm.

I laughed over our bond. "Yes, Skids is green."

"When back?"

"Well, they should be back in a few minutes."

"Soon?"

"Yes, very soon." Silver chirped happily. I let her 'talk' to herself as I focused on my bond with my father. He had blocked it for some reason mid-mission. It was a simple pick up. Two Autobots were apparently coming, with quite a few Decepticons on their tail. I had my hopes but Opi would have told me by now if it was my intendeds.

It was strange though. About twenty minutes before Dad blocked the bond… I started getting anxious. It was almost as if my spark knew something was very wrong somewhere. I shifted restlessly as my unease increased. What could be wrong though? Sire feels okay, from what I can feel. I was pulled from my thoughts by the sound of footsteps approaching.

"Hey Star!" I looked up to see Mikaela near my pede. Both teens and Bumblebee were here visiting before summer ends. Gotta love Diego Garcia and it's abilities to prevent me from seeing friends and my little brother.

"Hi Mikaela." I waved back. Silver poked up from where she was crawling over my servos and copied my gesture, clumsily waving her little arms.

"Oh my gosh! Silverwing has gotten so big!" Mikaela gushed. "Can I hold her?"

I couldn't help but chuckle a bit before nodding and handing my child to my friend. Silver squeaked with pure excitement as she wrapped her tiny arms around Mikaela's neck. "It's good to see you too!" She bounced Silverwing a little earning delighted squeals.

*Star, we are almost to Base. Could you meet us by the tarmac?* ~ Optimus Prime

*I'm on my way.* ~ Starlight

I was starting to worry. Opi sounded... strained. Discouraged somehow. Was something wrong? He'd have told me already, right?

"Mikaela. Could you watch Silverwing for a minute? My dad wants me on the tarmac." I asked my friend, trying to hide my worry.

"Sure!"

"Thanks. Be good Silverwing." She looked up at me before letting out a happy chirp and nodding.

"Danni be back soon, right?"

"As soon as Grandsire is done talking to me." I tried to keep my concern out of our bond. No use worrying my sparkling.

"M'kay!"

I smiled at my daughter and friend before turning and walking over to the tarmac. The two large carrier planes had already landed, the first opening up to unload its cargo.

My father was the first one off, his chrome front glinted in the hot sun. He transformed and stretched out his sore gears. Being cramped in alt for several hours can do that to a bot. He made his way toward me, a strained smile on his lip plates.

"Hey Opiluk."

He gave me a hug before pulling back slightly. "My sparkling, we have good and bad news for you."

I blinked owlishly up at him. Oh no. "What is it?"

"Starlight?"

I stiffened at the familiar voice. My helm snapped towards the silver mech in front of me faster then what was probably healthy.

"S-Sideswipe?!"

He let out a choked sound before he started rolling towards me. I pulled out of my father's grasp so I could run to my intended. Sides picked me up and spun me around slightly. His helm nuzzled into my neck cables as my arms wrapped around his.

"Star… You're okay… You're here…" The absolutely desperate tone to his voice made me pull back slightly. He let out a spark-wrenching whine when I did.

"Sides, look at me." He loosened his grip and looked into my optics. I glanced around instantly taking note of the missing bot. Cold filled my spark.

"Sides... where's Sunny?"

Sideswipe tightened his hold on me. "I-I don't…"

Dread filled me. "Sides...?"

He shook his helm. "I don't know! We were attacked twice on our way here. First we lost most of our coms, then… then they took him! There was nothing I could do! I tried so hard to get him back… but I couldn't… I… I can't feel him… it's like what happened to your carrier… I can't feel him."

Primus… no… not Sunny too. "Sideswipe… we're going to get him back."

He let out a whine, burying his faceplates into my neck.

"Mama? What happen?" I stiffened a bit, causing Sides to look at me with concern.

"I-I have a bit of a surprise for you." His optic ridges moved closer together but he nodded anyways. Evidently welcoming the distraction. "It's… It's a really big surprise."

"What is it?"

I bit my lip plates. "Come with me." I grabbed his servo and started leading him towards the hanger I was at earlier.

"I have a bit of a surprise sweetspark."

"Sup'rise?"

"Yup, a really big surprise. Do you remember when I was telling you about your daddies?"

"Ya!" I smiled a bit as we entered the room.

"Mikaela?"

"Here!" The brunet got up from where she was sitting on Bee's shin. Silverwing bounced on her shoulder.

"Thank you for watching her."

"No problem." She eyed my claimed servo for a moment while holding Sil' out to me. "Who's this?"

"Mikaela, this is Sideswipe. Sideswipe, this is my friend Mikaela." Recognition lit up her face as she grinned up at my silver fiancé.

"Nice to finally meet you. Star told me about you." A small smile appeared on Sides' lip plates.

"Oh? And what'd she say?" He apparently hadn't noticed Silverwing… guess he is really out of it.

"Lots of things. Couple prank stories, stuff like that." She glanced around. "Uh… isn't–"

"Mikaela, if you could give us a moment… I'll talk to you later." I interrupted her before she mentioned Sunny. She looked at me and I hoped she understood my silent message. Her eyes widened and she nodded before running over to Bumblebee.

"C'mon Bee. Let's go find Sam before Skids and Mudflap do." Bee let out a chip, stood up off the floor, and offered a hand to Mikaela.

"Danni… who bot?"

"I'll introduce you in a moment." I stood to my full height, coming up just barely below Sides.

"Sideswipe." His silver helm turned to me before noticing the small sparkling in my servo. His optics widened and his lip plates opened and closed a bit.

"Is that…"

"A sparkling."

He gaped at me.

"She was created just before the AllSpark was destroyed," I explained.

Sides looked up at me but looked back down as I held her out. My spark was hammering in my chest a bit. Let's just go for the Band-Aid approach. "The AllSpark chose me to be her Danniluk."

"B-But… you're…"

"I know… but that doesn't change that fact… Sideswipe," I lifted my sparkling up to his optic level, "meet Silverwing."

He just blinked at her for a moment, still in shock. A smile slowly found its way to his lips. Not one of his pervy, or even mischievous grins, but an honest to Primus genuine smile. "Silverwing… she… she's beautiful…"

He reached out to touch her, but pulled back as something occurred to him. "But…" He looked up at me. "If she's your creation now… that means… I… I'm her mech creator?"

I gave him a smile and nod before holding Sil' out to him.

"Mech creator?"

"Yes, he is one of your Opiluks."

Silverwing looked up at Sideswipe with her blue optics wide. They both kinda stared at each other before she lifted her arms out, wanting to be held. Sides slowly reached out and gently picked her up. As soon as he had her there was a spark. He gasped, and I did too as I felt the bond with my daughter shift slightly.

"Daddy!"

I reached through the bond with Silverwing and choked slightly. I can feel him! I can feel Sideswipe! I felt Sides reaching into the bond as well. His presence just barely brushing against mine. My spark reached for his, wanting nothing more than to bond with his spark as well… but I got a painful reminder that we couldn't. Even if I was old enough… a bond between us wouldn't be complete, or wanted without Sunstreaker. Sil' didn't seem to mind our complete and utmost utter shock though. She just chirped happily and nuzzled into Sides' chest plates. Pure happiness flowed into Sides and me from our sparkling.

"She…" Sides trailed off as his optics met mine.

"Yeah," I breathed. He looked down at Silverwing who was perfectly content with snuggling as close to him as she could.

Even though the homecoming was bittersweet, at least I had one of my mechs, and my daughter. Damn, he didn't glitch.

There you have it folks! Le gasp! Sideswipe is here and Sunstreaker has been captured! No! Why must I do this! Why! In all honesty, when I first started rewriting this, Sunny wasn't going to have to deal with this shit… but now he does because my brain made an excellent idea. Also, since Sides finally got his aft reunited with Star, I figure next chapter will be something… special. ;) Well I'm just going to keep this short and sweet. Please, please, please leave a review for at least this chapter if not all. Let me know what you think so far, if I made any mistakes in catching my mistakes, any ideas as to what you think will happen to Star, funny shit you want me to make her do, prank ideas… cause I need those, or just say hi!
