Shay had set with Raff at 7pm, however was 6pm and Allison was already dressed, walking from one side to another on her apartment, without knowing what to do to pass the time. If she leave now she would arrive too early. She decided to check again if the clothes she had chosen was nice, Raff wanted to put a dress but she didn't know what Shay was preparing and was afraid to go too tidy, she also took into consideration that they would be on the top of the roof so probably will be cold. Thus, she decided to go with a pair of jeans, a shirt and a jacket, she didn't want to ruin whatever that Shay had prepared because it was cold.

Arriving at Shay's apartment, Allison sends a text to her
- Hey, I'm here!
- The gate is open, you can come straight to the roof =)
Raff goes to the roof and stands still for a moment before opening the door, she feels her heart beating fast, and she can even hear it. She isn't afraid, in fact all this thrill she feels running through her veins is for excitement, she knows that after tonight everything will change. She takes a deep breath and opens the door.
She stands in silence for a while, watching carefully everything she's seeing... "Wow, this is definitely the most beautiful night in the most wonderful roof in the world". She sees Shay from a distance sitting near the roof edge. The place is fully illuminated, Shay used several strings with small lamps tied on one side to another of the roof, the brunette sees a table with a wine and two glasses and some food. In the background upon Shay has a poster saying

Shay can see a delightful smile on Raff's face as she watches all the ornamentation.

Smiling Raff approaches from Shay and for a moment, she can't speak a word. What words she could use to describe what she was feeling? What words she could use to explain how she had found all this, amazing?

Shay takes Raff by the hand and leads them to a more remote location of the roof, where the lighting is weaker. When they are approaching the local, Raff asks:
- Is that a telescope?

- WOW, Do you bought me a telescope?

- Are you crazy? This thing is very expensive, I'm just a paramedical! This telescope belongs to my friend Chris, he lent me for today.
- I think I deserve a telescope

When they are approaching the instrument, Raff loose Shay's hand and runs to touch the object, before she can touch it, Shay runs and slaps her hand

Smiling Shay says
- The problem is that I don't know how to position this thing ... Chris left in the right position, and if you touch it, I will not know how to put back in place.

- Ok ok ! So... the idea is we stay away from the telescope. Only looking at it? Like a painting in the museum?

Raff approaches the telescope with her hands behind her back, to make sure she would not take another slap. As the brunette is positioned to look through the telescope, Shay comes up behind her, holding her hands and allowing their bodies to stay very close.

Raff leans over and puts her eyes on the eyepiece, she become quiet watching for a while, the telescope was directed to a star and specifically that night it seemed to outshine all the other stars. After a moment looking at the star Raff asks
- A star?
- Yep! Your star!
And all the stars were shining bright
Raff takes the eyes of the telescope and still without turning around, she asks
- Do you bought me a star?
- Yep! It is near the Scorpion constellation, but away from the Antares star, because otherwise it would not be visible.
- Why not?
- Because Antares is super shiny and would overshadow the brightness of your star.
Raff is silent for a moment, as Shay is holding her from behind, she does not know if the surprise pleased the brunette or not.
- Han... Did you like it?
Raff takes a deep breath
- If I liked? I loved! I never imagined I would win a star. It is the best gift I've ever received.

- Yep! Really! What is the name of the star?
In this Raff turns around, and they are now looking at each other's eyes.

Raff stays with a silly smile on her face and asks

Only then, Shay realizes what she had spoken, the blonde feels her face turning red. She lowers her head in shame and speaking almost in a whisper

Shay looks up and sees that Allison is with a delighted smile. They look at each other for a moment.
Raff takes her hands to Shay's face and begins to trace lines on Leslie's face with her fingertips, Shay closes her eyes and stands there, feeling Raff draw into her face with the fingers. The blonde feels her whole body shake at her touch, she was in a trance when Raff whispering speaks

And then I kissed her
Shay opens and sees Raff approaching her with a smile, the brunette gently give her a kiss on the nose, then, gently she slides her thumb on Shay's lips, making her sigh. Finally, Raff leans over Shay and kisses her! The fireworks of the 4th of July begin to burst in the sky, while the two women finally satisfy their desire so long expected.

Allison can feel the tension in her voice and the brunette knows what the reason for it. She raises her head again looking into her eyes and kisses Shay on the lips.
