Chapter 20: Devastation Epilogue
Reborn smiled when Sorbaka was able to over come Mukuro. He won't admit it, but he was worried that Mukuro had Sorbaka at one time, especially before Leon produced his new weapon and the HDWB.
After Sora return to normal, he immediately fainted from the shock his body felt. He needs to work on that later. He smiled and decided to work on it later, right now he felt like taking a nap. What's the worst thing that could happen...
Tsuna wasn't really sure what he should feel right now. Should he feel happy that the man came back beaten and bruised, or worried that his brother probably did this? Either way, he ran towards him to make sure he wasn't too hurt.
Mukuro looked at Tsuna with slight shock and wonder, before looking down and chuckled slightly, "Kufufu, Is it because I'm in such a state that you're worried about me? I wonder how bad I look now."
Tsuna was confused by his words, but shook his head, "I don't know what you're talking about, but what happened?"
Mukuro gave another surprised look before saying, "Oh yeah, you've been stuck here for the entire time, kufufufu." His wounds healed, clothes changed, and looked calmer. He turned around, making Tsuna turn around to see what he was looking at. "But that can wait, we have company."
There, in-front of them, was a girl in a white dress and long purple hair. Tsuna was about to walk towards her when Mukuro started saying, "Do you want to make a wager, Mr. Redeemer?" When Tsuna stopped, Mukuro started, "I want that girl to be a vessel for my consciousness, and in return, I'll cast an illusion that can replace the organs that she lost."
Tsuna's eyes widen and his jaw fell open, "Wh-Th-Then why don't you cast them!? She could die at anytime couldn't she?"
The smile Mukuro gave show little to no concern about the subject. He then continued, "What I like to wager is: If you can convince her to join Redemption, not only will I give her the organs she needs, I will form a contract with her."
Mukuro then gave the girl a sad smile, "And if I can convince her not to become one, I'll also take your body as a vessel before taking your brother's." Tsuna stiffened as his brother was mention again. Why? Why was this man so focused on getting to his brother!? "Now," Mukuro said snapping Tsuna out of his thoughts, "Shall we begin?"
When Nana heard that Sora was also hospitalized, she almost had a mini-mental meltdown. Luckily it was because of a case of exhaustion, at least, that was what Reborn said. She got lucky enough that they were both in the same room, so she decided to stop by the hospital before she goes home.
Before that, she would have to deal with the Kokuyo districts redeemers, or what was left of them anyway. She took one of them aside and asked, "How many of you are left?"
The broken redeemer turned to her and answered, "I believe a total of 25, ten here and fifteen who had the day off."
"Alright," Nana whispered, "Can I have their numbers? I'll tell them what happened and where to meet up from now on. Until then, can you tell the remaining members that they can head home now. We all can use some relaxation right now."
The redeemer nodded and told the group who all left in all different directions. After they all left, Nana turned to Kyoko, Hana, and Haru, who all looked worn out, and asked, "How about we go back to headquarters's?"
They all nodded their heads, still shock that they were both useless with the akuma and how powerful it actually was. On the drive back to the headquarters, Nana could hear all of them to agree with the idea of going to train intensely. She smiled out of pride, but couldn't keep it with the thoughts of both her sons being in the hospital.
Once they reached headquarters Nana explained that she had to go to the hospital, and excused herself for not being able to stay too long. Kyoko asked to join her so she could she her brother, which Nana of course said yes to. Hana tried to tag along, but Kyoko explained that she'd rather visit him by herself.
When they reached the hospital, Nana and Kyoko went their separate ways. The reason being was that Ryohei was on the first floor, while Tsuna and Sora's room were on the second floor.
When Nana entered, she immediately noticed that Tsuna had been tossing and turning and was sweating slightly. Right next to him, Sora was sleeping comfortably, silently, and alone. She sat in a chair that was between the two holding hands of both while praying that they were both alright.
When Kyoko opened the door, she expected that he would be there. She expected his eyes to fall on her the second she opened the door. She expect the wave of guilt that hit her when he asked, "Are you ready to answer my questions Kyoko."
Her head dropped and answered, "Yes Reborn-san, but can we go somewhere else please?" Reborn said nothing, and just simply jumped down from his chair, ready to follow Kyoko to the place she felt comfortable, which happened to be the roof. (Be honest, how predictable was that?)
When Kyoko stopped, Reborn stated, "I'm just going to ask 'yes' and 'no' questions right now. I don't want anything other than that, understood?"
Kyoko, hoping that Reborn will keep to his word, answered with a, "Yes."
"Good," Reborn continued, "First, you are apart of whatever Nana is doing, correct." "Yes Reborn-san."* "Are you in anyway or form connected to the mafia?" "No." "Finally, did Tsunayoshi Sawada's injuries really come from some type of heart attack?"
That question made Kyoko hesitate. She knew that if she answered that question, the whole operation could be in jeopardy. She decided that she needed to make sure of one thing. "Reborn-san," Reborn looked up with slight irritation, "I need you to swear that you will keep what I say silent."
Reborn smirked, the answer was no then. With a small glint in his eyes he asked, "And what if I don't?"
Kyoko kept an even stare with him while replying, "Then you'll have an entire organization, that has bases on each of the seven continents, over 650,000 members, and some very nasty pets after you."
Reborn smiled slightly before saying, "Then I'll keep quiet about Tsuna not suffering from a heart attack a secret."
Kyoko's mouth fell open as she asked, "How did you know that without me telling you!?"
Reborn gave the girl a smile while announcing, "Because I'm the world's greatest hitman, Reborn!" Her eyes sparkled slightly, and Reborn's smile widen slightly as he continued, "That, and when you acted all serious so suddenly gave it away."
As she realized her mistake, Reborn left, smiling about both the information he got and just how the girl acted. Now that he got some answers, he decided to follow up on his bargain, heal up Ryohei.
He could do some mystical way that may or may not have required sun flames, but he instead decided to make a very disgusting, hard to swallow, goop that will do the same thing. What could he say, he was slightly sadistic. (Seriously guys, you wouldn't even notice it.)
Tsuna was NOT enjoying this. After Mukuro introduced himself, he stated that he would help her out, but only after she picked one of them. He then told her that he doesn't want her to join the organization that Tsuna wanted her to.
Every time Tsuna told her why it would be a good idea, Mukuro would basically offer the same thing in a negative light. She even she seemed to hide behind Mukuro at times, and that wasn't helping his nerves.
Finally, Tsuna gave up mentally. He sat down on a random rock, looked at the girl with sincere eyes and said, "I don't know if this will help you decide or not, but after I entered this organization, some people open up to me; they accept me, and it helps that I get to meet with them most of the time during and after school."
Tsuna's smile widen at the recent memories he created with his friends, both dead and alive. He closed his eyes, took a breath, and finished with his eyes slightly orange, "If you want to remain with your current friends, then by all means don't agree, but if by chance you do want to have more friends, please come with me."
Mesmerized, the girl nodded her head, surprising Tsuna and causing Mukuro to smile bitterly. "Kufufufu, Seems like you won this round Sawada-san. Next time we see each other, this girl will have already formed a contract with me."
Tsuna tried to ask what he meant, but he couldn't speak, and everything started to darken. "Till then, Sawada-san, Kufufufu." After that laugh, Tsuna opened his eyes to be met with a bright light and a shocked voice yelling, "TSU-KUN! You're awake!"
Six dark portals opened in the sky dropping six different sized figures. When they landed, the pressure sent out was thought to be a mini-tornado to the people around them. One of the figures turned around to the other saying, "Go and have some fun! Don't cause any trouble yet though, it'll be bad if any redeemers were to see us~." After a quick nod of their heads, they all disappeared in different directions.

*-You probably figured it out, but I combined Reborn's questions and Kyoko's answers. I didn't want you guys to get these super small sentences, so I just combined them. (Bows) Sorry if anyone got confused.

Is it just me or has my story gotten unusually dark? I blame Discoabc story. Please Review.
By the way, out of random inspiration, I started a Legend of Zelda Fanfic. If anyone is interested in reading it, please do! The first chapter is a-little slow, but the second chapter picked it up. The third chapter should be up soon too! And yes, I know this is shameless self-advertisement, but I'm cute enough that non of you care, right? (Smiles innocently.)
