"So?" Zoro asked as they ran. "Where'd Franky and Usopp get to?"

"Who knows?" Luffy asked cheerfully. "We're going on an adventure!"

"We're just going to find Franky," Zoro muttered. "I'd hardly call that an adventure."

"Let him have his moment of fun," Robin said, smiling. "If he wants to call this an adventure, that's fine."

The three were running down the street in pursuit of Franky and Usopp. This soon proved to be a more difficult task than expected, since they had no idea where the pair was and Zoro kept turning the wrong way.

"Zoro!" Luffy whined, grabbing his crewmate for the umpteenth time and yanking him back towards himself and Robin. "Wrong way!"

"How do you know that I'm not going the right way and you two are going the wrong way!?" he demanded.

"Because," Luffy said.

"Because what!?"

"Just because."

"Oh, for goodness' sake," Robin said. She stopped and concentrated, using her powers to scan the city. A moment later she opened her eyes and said "I found them. They're . . . the way that Zoro was going."

"See!?" Zoro exclaimed as the three doubled back.

"We would have gotten there eventually," Luffy muttered.

Soon enough they saw Franky running ahead of them. "Oi! Franky!" Luffy yelled.

Franky stopped and turned around. He grinned and waved with his free hand. Usopp squirmed.

"We met up with Nami-chan earlier," Robin said. "She, Sanji, and Brook are taking care of the ship."

"Oh damn, that's right," Franky said. "They said they'd seized the ship . . . I'm sure those three will handle it."

"We took care of the Marines," Luffy said cheerfully. "I dunno if there are any more, but four of them are down."

"Really? Great!" Franky released Usopp, whose wrist was still tied to Franky's. He glared at the metal-man as he brushed himself off.

"In case you all are forgetting," he said with a scowl, "I'm a Marine, too. Since my ship's here, if you'll all just come with me—"

"Usopp, you don't stand a chance against all four of us," Zoro said bluntly. "Anyway, what happened to all that about maybe we're not lying after all?"

"Well," Usopp said, straightening, "I can hardly ignore my duty as a soldier—"

"—when you have backup," Robin completed.

"Just how far is it?" Nami said as she ran towards the coast where the ship had docked with Brook and Sanji.

"Not much further, Nami-swan," Sanji said. "I think I see it!"

The faint figure of the Thousand Sunny was visible in the distance, as well as the Marine ship docked next to it.

"So?" Sanji asked. "How're we gonna take it back? Take them out one by one in quiet sneak attacks or go all out?"

"Sneak attacks," Nami said.

"Sneak attacks," Brook agreed.

"Why?"

"Why not?" Brook asked.

"Because I need to check on the treasure!" Nami explained. "If we go all out, they might try to get the treasure away from us!"

"Nami-swan, you're so beautiful even when you're being tactical!" Sanji crooned.

"But how can we sneak up on the ship?" Brook inquired. "We're in plain view here."

Sanji slowed down. "Good point. They'll see us coming from a mile away. Nami-swan?"

"I have an idea," she said. "We'll need to be closer for it to work, so we'll stay quiet for now."

They were about thirty yards from the ships when Nami set her plan into motion. Spinning her Clima Takt, she sent a mirage up into the sky, one of a giant clenched hand.

As they crept forward, the Marines on the Sunny screamed and pointed into the sky.

"What the hell is that!?"

"It's a monster! Shoot it down!"

They started firing their guns uselessly into the sky, wasting all of their bullets. Once Nami, Brook, and Sanji had boarded and hidden themselves in separate places, Nami spun her weapon again and made the illusion vanish. The confused Marines stared up into the sky, murmured to each other, and went back to their posts.
