A Foxes Tale
Chapter 21
AN: Hello all and welcome back. Firstly as always thanks to everyone who reviewed and asked for updates. That said happy freaking holidays, chapter was spose to be up on Christmas Day but I was having a bunch of trouble getting the file to upload. Part II starts now, hopefully despite my disdain for Shippuden in general I can stay motivated remember the sequel ya'll. That said here's the new chapter.
Start Now:
As the early morning light of the sun shone over the village of Konohagakure no Sato a pair of figures could be seen looking down upon the village from a tall hill outside of the village gates. The first of the figures was the unmistakable form of the Legendary Toad Sage and teacher of the famed Yellow Flash, the Sannin Jiraiya. The second, younger figure was none other than the man's grandson and current and final student Uzumaki Naruto. He had grown since he'd left the village shooting up in height to the point that he now stood at a respectable 5'8" putting him even with his father.
He wore a pair of white pants, a short sleeved burnt orange kimono style shirt over which he wore a black flack vest, which offered no neck protection whatsoever and stopped just over his waist. He held his kunai holster secured strapped to his right leg and bandages covered the lower portion of his shins and disappeared into black sandals while his hitai-ate was secured to his forehead with a longer black cloth holding it in place that had a slim strip of orange shooting through the center. The Shodai Hokage's necklace hung freely around his neck, where it had been ever since Tsunade had gifted it to him as a birthday present. Finally there was Benihime which was worn in its place on his left hip supported by his obi.
"Well would you look at that." Said Jiraiya pointing over to the Hokage Monument where Tsunade's likeness could now be seen.
"Looks good." Said Naruto his voice a bit deeper in tone.
"Well let's go surprise the old lady." Said Jiraiya after a few silent minutes taking it all in.
They moved off at a comfortable pace enjoying the walk towards the village gates. Both of them knew that once he walked back into the gates of the village things would change. During the time he was gone not only had the news come out that Jiraiya and Tsunade were his grandparents, but that the Yondaime Hokage was his father. His connection to the two Sannin had come out as a result of the confrontation with Fu those few short years ago while they had deliberately allowed the release of the information of his parents identities to become known shortly after his fifteenth birthday. As it was he was very aware of the numerous marriage proposals that had been sent for him over the years, though all of his group of friends had gotten some from what he heard even Sakura, Tenten and Lee.
Upon reaching the gates it took them no time to get through the check in process before they were allowed in. As they made their way to the Hokage's office the duo were met with stares as many looked upon the duo with shock. Jiraiya wasn't surprised Naruto had grown to look even more like his father which was why they had released the news of his parentage when they had of course rather than look like a carbon copy he had grown his hair out which he now wore in a ponytail that reached nearly the middle of his back.
Eventually the duo found themselves wandering the halls of the Academy building on their way up towards the Hokage's office. As they reached the top floor Jiraiya found himself curious as the blond suddenly turned off in a different direction than the one that led to the Hokage's office. They walked for barely a few minutes before they came to a pair of closed doors where a pair of chuunin could be seen. It was upon spotting them however that one of the two was soon sticking his head in before quickly pulling back out and motioning his partner to open the other.
Stepping inside the room the two found themselves on the receiving end of looks from everyone in the room. As he looked over the room Naruto found himself trading looks with the entirety of the shinobi council as well as the Daimyo himself who he'd given a small bow and gotten a nod of the head in return.
"You two are back early." Stated Tsunade from her seat raising an eyebrow in surprise.
"I was ready to come home." Said Naruto with a shrug ignoring the snickering of his grandfather.
"I see. Well why don't you go help out Iruka for the next hour or so. I'll call for you once we finish the meeting." Said Tsunade getting a nod from him before he turned and left the room.
"So want to tell me what's really going on?" questioned the woman once her grandson was gone.
"We ran out of stuff to teach him for now. We've pushed his body as far as we could for the time being so we decided not to push it." Said Jiraiya with a casual shrug.
"Okay and the unofficial reason?" questioned the woman her tone showing that she wasn't buying it.
Finding Iruka had been rather easy of course it helped that the man hadn't changed class rooms. Approaching the class he stopped and leaned into the doorway as Iruka's voice hit him for the first time in a few years.
"Alright so can anyone tell me what the difference is between a shinobi and a ninja?" questioned Iruka as he looked out over his class all of whom were still.
"Um, sensei isn't it the same thing." Questioned one of the students a boy who after a few moments Naruto recognized as Konohamaru.
"What do you think, are they the same Naruto." Questioned Iruka without even turning his head.
At this Naruto sighed he had honestly thought that he'd gotten his control down enough so that Iruka wouldn't be able to sense him. This meant either he hadn't gotten it as good as he thought or that Iruka was simply a better sensor than he thought.
"To the uneducated the two terms are used interchangeably. However the difference is in the words themselves. A shinobi is one who endures, shinobi are the military might of a country and are trained for battle and to endure the harshness of war." As he spoke Naruto moved so that he was inside the room walking until he stood beside Iruka and turned to face the class.
"A ninja however is one who sneaks. Ninja specialize in espionage, infiltration, sabotage, assassination and guerilla warfare. Because of this ninja are much more subtle and masters of disguise able to disappear in an instant if given the opportunity. To be truthful I don't think there are any pure ninja left but rather shinobi with the ability of ninja."
His piece said the blond leaned back against the wall and crossed his arms telling everyone he was done on the subject. Iruka sent a smirk in his direction before he continued on with his lesson. Nearly twenty minutes later found the two chuunin seated within Ichiraku's each of them enjoying a bowl of ramen and for once at Naruto's expense.
"So how was your trip?" questioned Iruka
"Honestly I had a blast. Learned a lot, fought some people, got to hang out with my sister and had a prank war for the ages." Said the blond
Truthfully the best part was probably just hanging out with Kimiko. Being with her he was free to just be a kid, there was no pressure whatsoever and he could just relax. She was also extremely protective and he would admit if only to himself that he enjoyed having someone ready to step up for him. Plus she was like the perfect partner when it came to pranks. Honestly he had thought he was good before but pranking was taken seriously among kitsune's as such he'd actually had to stretch his imagination.
"Fights, you didn't get into another bad one did you?" questioned Iruka.
Naruto grimaced at the question. The fight with Fu was still being held over his head. Of course it wasn't the fact that they fought as no one could blame him for that, it was that he had lost his shit and started throwing around enough demonic chakra around that it had been felt all the way back in Konoha.
"Let's just say it was safer for me to come back here while things calms down." Said the blond with a bit of a nervous laugh.
"What happened?" questioned the teacher already feeling a headache.
"Let's just say vixens make Anko look like a kitten lover when they're motivated enough."
"What did you do?" questioned Teuchi.
"Nothing. Apparently their all attracted to power, like seriously. It's like an aphrodisiac to a vixen and guess whose body just happens to hold all the power of an ancient super powerful chakra monster."
"Wait are you saying…" started Iruka chuckling.
"That shit isn't funny. Imagine Anko hadn't had Dango in six months and the scent of it is coming from your pours." Said the blond causing both men to blanch.
"Exactly. From what we could piece together when I was younger it didn't affect them I was a kid. However once my scent matured that immunity was gone and suddenly it was like they went nuts. Imagine the Uchiha's fangirl's only with actual skill and ability." Said the teen shuddering.
"I'm guessing Kimiko helped you escape." Said Iruka.
He'd met her once a few years back and from the letters the two of them had exchanged over the years it seemed as if the siblings were almost attached at the hip.
"Don't even get me started on her ass." Said the blond almost in exasperation getting raised eyebrows from both men."
"So despite the fact that she's my sister she's not immune. But because she's so powerful she has a resistance and she used it up until she got rid of the competition." Said the teen.
"Wait you mean she…" started Iruka.
"Tried to hop on for a ride, yes." Deadpanned the blond
"So how'd you get away?" questioned Teuchi knowing that's exactly what happened.
"Full body, deep tissue massage. Swapped out with a clone before it started and had a toad reverse summon me to Jiraiya." Explained the blond.
"Speaking of sisters, where is my not crazy one?" questioned Naruto
"She started taking culinary classes. Once she finishes that we're going to expand into a full restaurant." Said Teuchi surprising both of his customers.
Nearly forty-five minutes later after helping himself to a number of bowls found Naruto wandering the streets. Iruka had headed back to the academy as he had papers to grade and as such the two had gone their separate ways. As he walked he took in the sights of repaired and completely remodeled buildings from the battle those few short years ago and found himself smiling softly, it was good to be home. A familiar scent soon caught his attention and pulled him from his absentminded wandering. Sure enough as he followed his nose he found himself standing before a few rows of Fire Lilies outside the Yamanaka Flower Shop. Opening the door how he was met with the last thing he was expecting.
"Look this is the last time I'm going to tell you. I'm not interested more than that I'm taken."
Narrowing his eyes at the words he stepped inside absently creating a vine to hold the bell in place as the door moved. Eyeing the scene he could see Ino standing with near the register and while still wearing purple her outfit was now slightly more revealing, losing the hitae-tae and bandages while exposing her midriff and adding mesh armor on her thighs, elbows and knees. She also replaced her hoop earrings with studs though still silver in color. Her hairstyle hadn't changed much her long platinum blonde hair was still worn in a ponytail, with bangs framing the right side of her face except the bangs had grown to cover half of her face, her ponytail was now waist-length, and she wore a red clip on the left.
Across from her stood a man who looked at least ten years older than them wearing expensive looking formal wear. He wore a pair of black hakama that were marked with pinstripes and a light yellow kimono top over which was a haori of the same color the collar of which held the same black pinstripes as the hakama. He had black hair that was pulled into a ponytail that flowed to just past his shoulders.
"I don't know why your being so stubborn. We both know you don't have anyone and even if you did it wouldn't matter in the end anyway." Said the man.
At the sound of his words Naruto didn't know if he wanted to laugh or skip to the point and just punch him. His voice was filled with arrogance and told him that the man was used to getting whatever he wanted. The way he stood however told him this was not a man of action, but one who thought his money would allow him to have his way. The way he dressed screamed pretty-boy and he gave off an aura that advertised nothing but smugness.
"Yeah, yeah whatever I've heard the speech already. Hinata told me all about it; didn't work to well for you that time either did it." Stated Ino smirking and Naruto could tell that the man had the wind knocked right out of his sails before his face screwed up into a scowl.
"ENOUGH. I am done entertaining your delusions as if you have a choice. You and that little Hyuga bitch will be mine if I have to buy your assess from the village. Now I suggest you apologize for the aggravation you put me through before I…"
Whatever else the man was going to say would never be known. Naruto had heard more than enough as evidenced when he allowed his spiritual pressure and his killing intent out. Immediately the man crashed to the floor while Ino perked up and her head snapped in his direction. Stepping forwards and away from the door Naruto approached the downed man his lips curling back in disgust as he eyed the man that was known prostrated before him. Reining himself back in figuring he'd made his point he watched as the man slowly regained the ability to breathe before he looked up with horrified eyes. Reaching down he grabbed the man by the collar of his kimono and pulled him back to his feet
"If I catch you anywhere near Ino-chan or Hinata-chan again we will have a problem. I don't think you want that now do you?"
As his words registered the man rapidly shook his head in the negative his eyes still displaying the horror he felt.
"You can go now." At this dismissal the man ran as if the hounds of hell themselves were chasing after him.
Dismissing the fool from his mind he turned his attention back to Ino. Turning to face her he found her standing at attention before, hands clasped in front of her and her head tilted so that she was looking down at her feet. Using his own hand on her chin he lifted her face so that she was looking at him to find a huge grin had taken over her face and her eyes were shining with both happiness and amusement and she was obviously trying to contain her laughter. Smiling himself he kissed her lightly on the forehead before moving around the counter and taking the seat moving her so that she was seated in his lap.
"You're back early." Ino snuggling down into his embrace.
"It was time." Said Naruto simply.
"You could have let me know, Kami I look a hot mess." Said Ino causing him to chuckle.
"Your beautiful." Said Naruto sincerely causing her to blush.
"So what's been going on since our last letter?" questioned the boy causing her to perk up at the chance to spread gossip.
"Well Iruka-sensei is dating Anko now." Started the girl.
"Seriously, I was just with Iruka and he didn't say anything." Said the boy with a frown.
"They're trying to keep it all secret like Asuma-sensei and Kurenai-sensei did." Said Ino causing him to snort.
"What's with that anyway?" questioned the blond.
"Daddy says it's something that high level shinobi do. Because of the number of spies in a village shinobi over a certain rank don't advertise who their seeing." Said Ino.
"Right my parents did the same thing." Said Naruto after a moment of thought.
"So it does work if it's done right. Anyway Neji, Temari and Kankuro are all jounin now." Said the girl causing him to raise an eyebrow.
"What about you, have you tried yet?" questioned the teen.
"No, you didn't tell me I could." Said the girl.
"You don't need my permission Ino." Said Naruto.
"I swore myself to you for life. I'm yours master." Said the girl.
Naruto raised an eyebrow at her. He remembered when he'd first taken her as a slave, she had been very reluctant. Eventually she had accepted it and even after he'd had her freedom granted she had stuck around as if nothing had changed.
"Very well, would you like to try?"
"Not for full jounin, at least not anytime soon. Maybe special jounin in a couple of months." Said the girl getting a kiss on the cheek in response.
"So how's that project of yours coming along?" questioned Naruto after a few moments.
"It went pretty good I think. I put Tenten in this cute little dress Neji was completely blown away and then he got all jealous it was amazing." Said Ino with a laugh.
"Success then congrats." Said Naruto.
"Idiot's lucky I let him have her. I should have prepped her for you with that body." Said Ino causing both his eyebrows.
"I thought you didn't like sharing." Said Naruto.
"I knew I would have to share you back then, or rather that I would probably be shared between you and whoever you married. That's why I worked so hard on Hinata. I just didn't like the idea of Guren taking my place." Said Ino.
"Have you and Hinata…" questioned the boy trailing off.
"We've kissed a few times but we haven't had sex. She's still too shy to push for more in that area." Said Ino.
"Does she know why you've been pushing her?" questioned the teen.
"Yes. It helped her out as well. She's more outspoken now which helped with her team and missions. It even helped with her clan." Said Ino a hint of pride in her tone.
Whatever else they were going to speak on was cut off as the door opened and the bell jingled. Ino went to stand only for his hands to keep her in her place on his lap. With his unspoken command to stay where she was she settled back into her position and leaned back so that she was leaning into his chest. Eyes on the door they were greeted with a chuunin who after a moment Naruto recognized as Izumo.
"Naruto-sama, the council is ready for you." Stated the chuunin getting a sigh from the blond.
"It's just Naruto, don't get all stuffy on me." Said the teen letting Ino up so he could stand.
"I'm showing a newbie the ropes, so it's by the book today." Said Izumo smirking.
"Right give me a sec, I'll be right out." Said Naruto getting a nod before the man stepped back out.
Turning his attention back to Ino he could see just the slightest hint that she was annoyed that their time together was cut short. However feeling his eyes on her she quickly pushed the feelings away.
"Whatever plans you've been putting together in the cute little head of yours go ahead." Said the teen getting a large smile from her.
As he opened his arms for her she almost leapt into his embrace and he held her tightly as she molded her body to his own. Pulling back a bit he planted a small kiss on her forehead before pulling back completely.
"How long do you need. We'll my shift is over in an hour, so give me three." Said Ino after a moment.
"See you then." Said the blond before moving from behind the counter and out the door.
As he closed the door behind him he smirked as he heard the loud squeal she let out thanks to his advanced senses. Once outside Izumo introduced him to a chunin by the name of Shin who was in full uniform. Apparently he and Kotetsu were being moved from their guard positions and would start to take on more missions.
The journey to the Academy was short as the shopping district was not far from the building itself. A few minutes later found them standing outside the doors of the council chambers, Izumo knocked and after a few moments was given permission to enter.
Taking a deep breath, the blond nodded allowing Izumo to open the door before stepping inside. As he entered he was directed to stand at the end of the table just opposite to Tsunade who as Hokage sat at the head. At the moment her fingers were clasped in front of her with her elbows resting on the table and her face was failing to hide her amusement.
"So Jiraiya has informed us of this latest incident." Said Tsunade.
"Which is once again his fault." Said Naruto quickly before anyone could blame him which only made a few other people amused.
"True enough. You handled yourself well at least. No one died and you didn't destroy half an acre of forest land this time." Said Tsunade causing him to sigh.
"So what have you learned?" questioned Inoichi.
"Not to travel with or acknowledge that I even know the perv." Said Naruto causing more than a few people to chuckle.
"Still other than this you've done pretty well. All of your missions were accomplished perfectly, even when you went in without all of the information. Furthermore in your time away you retrieved a village treasure, brought in a few summoning contracts and brought in three of the swords of the seven swordsmen." Said Shikaku.
"For all of this our clients have sent back glowing reviews about your performance. Furthermore Jiraiya has given his own reviews about how you've done." Said Tsume.
"That said congratulations on your promotion to the rank of Jounin." Said Tsunade causing his eyes to widen.
Before anyone could speak there was a plume of smoke which soon cleared to show a young kit with light brown fur and amber eyes. She appeared perched on the edge of the table with a scroll held in her mouth. Naruto didn't even hesitate removing the scroll from her mouth before picking her up and placing her on his shoulder where she quickly wrapped herself around his neck nipping at his cheek.
"Is that it?" questioned Jiraiya upon seeing the scroll.
"You tell me." Said Naruto tossing the scroll his way.
Catching it easily the Sannin ran through a few test verifying the scroll wasn't trapped before opening. Naruto meanwhile had turned his attention to the young kit and after a few moments dug out a handful of berries which she took to easily.
"Want to fill the rest of us in." said Tsunade raising an eyebrow.
"This is another one of his decisions, I had no part except as go between." Said Naruto hands up in the universal gesture for surrender.
Seeing this Tsunade narrowed her eyes and cut a fierce glare at Jiraiya who was now absorbed in the scroll. While he could feel her attention on him he ignored it for the time being and after a few moments nodded before rolling it up.
"Good job brat. This is exactly what I needed." Said Jiraiya before tossing the scroll to Tsunade.
Catching it easily the woman quickly went about reading over it her eyes flying through the words as her eyebrows rose in surprise.
"Wait are you telling me that you…" started Tsunade angrily before Jiraiya cut her off.
"It was sensei's idea. We knew with the brats personality it may happen so he decided to use it to our advantage." Said Jiraiya effectively knocking the wind out of her tirade before it could get started.
"Well talk about this later." Said Tsunade turning her attention back to Naruto.
"Is there anything else that we should know?" questioned the woman getting Naruto to turn serious eyes on her.
"Why don't you head home for a nap sweetie, I'll see you later." Said the blond getting a cute little yip from the kit before she dispelled herself.
"My mom isn't coming back. She's preparing the clans in case of a worst case scenario." Stated Naruto causing the entire room to turn its attention to him.
"There have been rumors that our positioned has weakened. The threat of invasion has risen." Stated Naruto causing all of them to grimace.
"So we prepare in case we need to seal them away." Said Tsume.
"Can't. If a single demon is sealed in the unnatural way that shinobi have developed the clans won't help you. The various jinchuriki will be taken by their respective clans and you'll have to fight the war on your own." Said the blond.
"So we increase the combat training of the entire corps" said Tsunade getting a nod from Naruto.
"Anything else?" questioned the Hokage.
"Not that I can say." Said Naruto causing all of them to grimace.
"How bad?" questioned Shikaku.
"There's a reason I've given the gifts I have to your clans over the last few years. Right now our focus should be on Akatsuki, we may not have to deal with outside problems for a decade if ever." Said Naruto.
"We'll talk later gaki, get out of here." Said Tsunade with a smirk getting one in return he left.
"What do you know?" questioned Tsunade turning to Jiraiya.
"Not much. All I can say for certain is that Kushina is much more concerned with the Akatsuki and their plans than she is about an invasion." Said Jiraiya.
"It could just be that Akatsuki represents a more immediate threat though." Said Tsume.
"That or a much more dangerous one." Said Shikaku bringing silence to the room.
The rest of the day flew by at a fast pace for the teen. He had gone home immediately after the meeting and grabbed himself both a shower and a nap. Upon awakening he had taken a look around and found that everything had been dusted down and fresh flowers were in the house. He smiled slightly as it told him that even without prompting Ino had been taking care of the place in his absence. Seeing the time he took yet another shower this time taking the time to wash his hair as well. Once out of the shower and with sufficiently dry hair he dressed quickly throwing on a pair of blue pants, a black shirt and an orange jacket with white sleeves.
Leaving the house he made a quick journey to Ino's by way of shunpo. As he knocked Ino herself answered the door and he found himself thankful for picking the outfit he had. She wore a black spaghetti strapped shirt and a white skirt that went down to her thighs stopping several inches short of her knees along with a pair of black shoes with small heels and opened toes. She led him by the arm to a building where the rest of the group was already gathered along with a crowd of people. Looking around he could see most of the guys were dressed similar to how he himself was while the girls were all wearing either two piece outfits with skirts or dresses.
"I told them all to dress as if it was a date." Whispered Ino softly.
"Still scouting?" questioned Naruto.
"Until you say stop." Said Ino with a small smile.
Hinata for instance was wearing a red dress that stopped just over her knees with black stockings and red shoes. Of course unlike most dresses he'd seen the topmost part was styled similar to a long sleeved shirt which did a lot to cover her modestly. Tenten however wore a red top with a black skirt that stopped at her upper thighs and left a lot of leg out for ones viewing pleasure. The one he was most surprised to see was Temari who wore a black dress that went down to her mid-thigh with fishnet stockings, black heels and a red obi at her center. Finally was Sakura who wore a simple black dress.
"Are Temari and Shika still dancing around each other?" questioned Naruto.
"Yep, it stopped being cute a while ago, now it's just exasperating." Said Ino causing him to chuckle.
"Glad to see you haven't completely corrupted Hinata." Said Naruto causing her to chuckle.
"No corruption needed on that one. She just needed a boost of confidence to match those tits of hers." Said Ino causing him to look at her.
"She can see through walls, and found an Icha Icha book when she was eight. She's got some idea's in that pretty head of hers." Said Ino.
"One thing at a time, now let's go say hi." Said Naruto.
With that said the two moved towards the group who were gathered outside the doors and talking amongst themselves.
"Hey guys, look who I found!" called Ino causing them to look up.
"Naruto-kun!" exclaimed Hinata in shock
"You're back!" exclaimed Sakura in surprise.
"Dude when'd you get back?!" questioned Kiba.
"Hey guys, just got home a couple hours ago." Said the blond pulling Hinata into a hug getting a cute little 'eep' out of her.
"How long can you stay?" questioned Shikamaru.
"Oh I'm home unless they send me on a mission, trainings over for now." Said the blond getting smiles all around.
"Now it's a party!" exclaimed Kiba as the two exchanged fist bumps.
"Ino says there's a bar so first round of drinks on me." Said Naruto
As they entered the building it turned out to be a place called a bowling alley the goal of the game was to knock down the most pins by use of a ball. Due to the number of people in their group they were given two lanes. That wasn't the only game playable as they also had pool tables, air hockey, dart boards and a number of other activities for them to enjoy. As Choji was out on a mission the two of them were comfortable ordering two boxes of pizza along with their drinks. Naruto found himself seated between Hinata and Ino and having a blast as he allowed himself to unwind with his friends.
There are many lessons that one learns as a shinobi and one of them was how to moderate your alcohol intake. Sakura, Hinata and Kiba had only taken that one shot the entire night. While the girls weren't ones to drink Kiba was however he reasoned that he had a mission in the morning and it wouldn't look good to show up hung over. Shikamaru had mirrored Kiba only his excuse was that hang-overs were troublesome. Tenten and Ino had both had two before calling it quits while Neji and Temari were in celebratory moods and had three each. Naruto however had taken five explaining that his metabolism was different and that the alcohol would be purged quicker which meant he needed a bit more for even a slight buzz. Thankfully for everyone Lee was unable to make it due to the mission he was on.
Finally after nearly three hours the group called it a night. Shikamaru was soon escorting Temari away and Kiba escorting Sakura as they were going the same way. Neji meanwhile escorted Tenten leaving Naruto to escort both Hinata and Ino. Walking the streets with a beautiful girl on each arm was something that Naruto honestly felt he could get used to. Before they knew it the trio found themselves standing just outside of the gates of the Hyuga estate.
"Naruto-kun I don't want to go in." Said Hinata lowly
"You have a mission tomorrow don't you?" questioned the blond.
"No, hospital shift in the morning though." Said the Hyuga.
"Still I don't think you should be staying out late if you have to work in the morning." Said the blond getting her to pout cutely.
"She could stay with us tonight Master." Spoke up Ino after a few moments getting Hinata to perk up.
"Please, Ino-chan and I have sleepovers all the time." Said Hinata.
"Except she doesn't have clothes at my place." Said Naruto.
"I can grab some and be out in less than five minutes." Said Hinata.
"How about we go on a real date first just the two of us. Then if things go well we can talk about you spending the night." Said Naruto.
"I thought this was a date." Said Hinata.
"Go inside, we'll talk tomorrow." Said Naruto after a moment placing a kiss on her forehead
She sighed and nodded before standing on her toes and planting a quick kiss on his lips before breaking away. As they broke apart she and Ino shared a hug with kisses on the cheek before Hinata turned away and made her way inside. Once she was safely inside the two of them turned and began making their way to the Uzumaki house.
"You know what she was offering you." Said Ino after a few moments.
"Yes, but I want it to be special. Just like our first time will be." Said Naruto causing Ino to blush and ending that conversation.
Before they knew it the two were back at the house and up the stairs. Naruto was surprised however when Ino approached the dresser and from one of the drawers pulled out a nightgown before retreating to the in suite bathroom. Removing his own clothes and tossing them into his dirty clothes hamper he made short work of crawling into bed. Nearly three minutes later he heard the door open and the light steps that he associated as Ino as she re-entered the room and after a bit of moving around climbed into bed with him.
"Welcome home master." Said the girl as she settled into her place.
Naruto said nothing merely holding her just a bit tighter and placing a light kiss on her neck. It really was good to be home.
