Minnie was not allowed to do anything at her school this year, it seems that every time she went to do something there was a Professor watching her. The school year was going by so quickly that Minnie lost track of the months and soon she was getting a letter from Remus that was talking about their Christmas plans.

My Dear Minerva,
I am counting down the days until we see each other again, it is hard seeing the students and not thinking about you. I heard that you are behaving and that you are once again ahead of your class, I am so proud of you my love. I am actually enjoying my job here at Hogwarts the children are amazing, all except the Slytherins but I knew the way they were.
So my love do not be a stranger and write to me before you forget who I am.

He sighed as he sent the letter to her, there was so much more happening at the school that he wanted to tell her because she deserved to know. He just sighed as he looked out the window, 'She has to be safe." He said to himself.

Minnie received the letter a few hours later, she was in her pajamas reading a book. She smiled as she opened it, she had not written to him all year because she knew that what she wanted say he would be mad at her. She jumped out of her bed and began to write to him.

Daddy,
I have missed you and no I could never forget you ever, you are my daddy. I have just been lost in thoughts this year about studies and everything. I didn't want to upset you or worry you but I have been researching Sirius Black and he went to school with you when you were there. That is how you know him right? All these questions I will ask you when I get home this Christmas.
So until then I miss you and love you bunches.

She sent the letter to him and went to bed, she knew that he will be mad but she needed to know the truth about everything. She knew he was doing it for her but she was no longer a child.

The months went by and she was soon in the clearing where her Uncle was supposed to be meeting her but in his place was Dora. She smiled and waved at her as she got off the carriage. "Dora?" Where is Remus?" She hugged her.

Dora looked at her and she sighed. "Well my love this full moon was really rough on him he is home in bed. So we have to take care of him for a bit. Is that ok with you?"

She nodded. "Yeah of course after all he has done for me this is the least I can do, and having you around will be fun." She began to walk to the cottage.

Dora went into the kitchen when they came into the cottage, she was cooking dinner. Minnie ran into Remus' room and she hugged him. "I have missed you so much, are you ok?" She looked at him.

He looked up at and he nodded, his eyes were weak. "Yes Minerva I am ok, a bit worn down from the moon but I will be better. How are you?"

She sighed. "Well I am great, full of questions but they can wait."

He shook his head. "Minerva I have been bracing myself for this, go ahead ask away. I will answer your questions to the best of my ability."

She smiled at him and nodded. "Ok, first off. Did you go to school with Sirius Black?"

"Yes, I was in his year and we were close friends. I never knew that he would become such a dark wizard…" He sighed as he looked at her.

"Ok, now was my father James Potter? He was also in the same year as you and Sirius." She seen his expressions deepen.

"No…" He hated lying to her. "…he was not your father, he is Harry's father. James and Lily were killed by dark magic and Sirius turned them in after claiming to be their friend."

She looked at him. "Then who is my father, I could find no other Potters in the Hogwarts history."

"Well, your father was a muggle Potter. I knew him from the muggle world that is how you are a Potter." He was shocked with his answer.

She nodded. "Oh… I see, that still does not make sense to me. Why am I in danger of Sirius if he did not know my father?"

Remus sighed. "Well my love, he probably thinks that you are my daughter and he would probably want to hurt me like he did James. I don't want to take any chances."

She nodded and she hugged him. "ok, I understand…."

The Christmas holidays went by quickly then Minnie had wanted them too, she loved the fact that Dora was there with them(Although her cooking was horrible) Minnie felt like they were the family she always wanted.
The time had come for her to go back to Beauxbaton, she was going to miss that Christmas more than any time in her life. As she boarded the carriage she waved at Remus and Dora. 'They are so meant to be my parents.' She smiled as she came up with a plan.
