"Still no sign of the Doc?" Dean asked Ryse he sat down with his coffee.

"Nope," Ryse sighed. "I hope everything's ok."

"I'm sure they're fine. Doc seems like one of those to get a bit into his work," Dean said trying to reassure her. Her eyebrow twitched. "Seen Sam around?"

"Uncle Sam went out."

"Again?" Dean asked. Ryse shrugged her shoulders, not looking up from the book she was reading through. Dean's phone started ringing. "Hello?" Ryse looked at him out of the corner of her eyes, snapping to full attention when she heard her dad's name. "Malachi huh? You alright? - And you're ok with that?" Dean's face paled as Ryse watched him. He gave a horrified look towards her before ending the conversation, advising Castiel to start heading back towards the bunker.

"What?" Ryse asked when he didn't say anything. "What happened? Is he ok?"

"Yea, he's fine, but Sam's not," Dean said jumping to his feet. Ryse followed suit, following him until he ran into Kevin. "Dude, you gotta look at that tablet and tell me if there's a way to talk to someone who's being possessed by an angel without the angel hearing what they're talking about."

"What?" Kevin asked, unsure what Dean was asking as Ryse stopped, giving Dean a terrified look. "What's going on?"

"Kevin, just do it, please," Dean asked.

"Yea, ok," Kevin said walking out to where his notes were. Ryse blocked Dean's path as he tried to follow.

"Kid, not now-"

"Uncle Dean," Ryse said through gritted teeth. "What is going on? What did dad say that has you so on edge?"

Dean looked around before taking a breath, "Cas got snagged by that other faction." Ryse went to cut him off, but he stopped her, "He's fine. Even got some mojo back. While they were interegating him, their leader let slip that a bunch of angels died in the fall, including Ezekiel."

"So who's in Uncle Sam?" Ryse asked as her gut clenched at the thought.

"I don't know, but he needs to get kicked the hell out," Dean grumbled. "You got enough juice to heal Sam, just in case this guy's lying and Sam ain't actually as good as he says he is?"

"Um yea," Ryse nodded trying to feel out the extent of her powers. "Yea, I should be able too. Then once I get home, I'll just have to rest again before I send the Doctor and Clara back."

"Alright then," Dean said clapping. "You know anything that can help Kevin out?" Ryse made a face before nodding. "What's that face?"

"Maybe, I don't know. The only one that really ever stuck in my head was the ward ones." Dean gave her a pleading look. "Fine. I'll see what I can do to assist him."

Ryse walked back out to where Kevin was sitting looking through his papers. She sat down across from him and pulled the yellow tablet over and started glancing at his notes, "What can I do to help?"

"Um tell me what's really going on?" Kevin asked looking up at her. Ryse bit her lip. "Ok, ok. Fine. Do you know any sigils that would help?"

"Um possibly. Have anything of your own?"

"Not yet. Give me a second though, I think I know where I can look." Ryse nodded at him.

"So we going back anytime soon?" Meg asked as the Doctor stopped them in one person's heaven, took a scan and moved to the next.

"Um, almost," the Doctor muttered not paying attention. Meg rolled her eyes before looking over at Clara.

"Doctor," Clara said trying to call him to attention.

"Hm?"

"We're tired and they're probably all back at the bunker waiting for us so we can take Ryse back," Clara replied.

"Give me your phone."

"Why?" Clara said stepping forward and placing her phone in his hand. He took his sonic out and pressed the button. "What are you doing?"

"Making it so you can make calls from the TARDIS," he said absently as he poured over his readings. "Call them if you're that worried."

Meg and Clara exchanged looks before Clara pressed a button and held the phone up to her ear. A few moments later, the Doctor turned and looked at Meg.

"You know what I find odd?" the Doctor asked her.

"That you think bow ties can be pulled off?" Meg smirked.

"Hey, bow ties are cool," he said adjusting his. "No, what I find odd is that for the whole time we've been jumping around here in Heaven, not once has this Metatron you all have been talking about pop up on any readings. I've found a few faint traces, but nothing concrete. Now why do you think that is?"

"Not a clue and don't really care," Meg replied.

"Not exactly the answer I was looking for," he said. "No, I think he's down on earth."

"Why would he be on earth?" Meg drawled back.

"Probably because he got lonely," the Doctor said giving her a sad smile.

"Then why did he kick them all out?" Meg asked, not being able to help herself.

"Let me tell you one thing," the Doctor said stepping closer. "If you were the last being and all your other brothers and sisters were locked away for who knows how long, would you not do anything to not be the only one anymore?"

"So you think he's going down there to be with the angels he kicked out?"

The Doctor touched his nose, "And I think I gathered enough of his trace energy to try and track out where he's hiding."

"Do you really need to meet this guy?" Meg groaned. "I really just want to go home and order some pizza…"

"Would the Winchesters really want you ordering delivery to their secret base?" the Doctor asked. Meg raised an eyebrow at him before she shook her head. Clara walked back over to them, "So what's the word?"

"There's something going on," Clara said a worried look on her face. "Ryse sounded a bit harried on the phone. She wouldn't say why, but her and Kevin were painting some kind of sigil in the storage room."

"What kind of sigil?" Meg asked, curious.

"I don't know, she wouldn't say what was going on," Clara replied. "I think we should get back to the bunker."

"Where's Cas? Are he and the idiots back?"

Clara shifted uncomfortably, "She wouldn't really say much before she hurried herself off the phone."

"Doc, I'm with chickee," Meg sighed. "Something's up, we need to get back."

"Can't we just follow this trail real quick?" he asked, giving them puppy eyes. "Real, real quick. Like you wouldn't even know we were following it quick?"

"Hop to it then because we need to get back to the bumper. I'm not liking what I'm hearing and while I would prefer to avoid trouble-"

"Yes, yes," the Docotr said pressing a few buttons. The TARDIS shifted, throwing them slightly. "See here already. One step closer to home."

The Doctor hurried over to and opened the TARDIS door carefully, poking his head out. They were under a bridge. He took a quick glance around before snapping his fingers back at Meg.

"What?"

"Come here," the Doctor whispered hotly.

"Why are you whispering?" Meg asked. She looked out the door and was thrown a bit. "Hey, who's the moose talking to?"

"My guess is Metatron," the Doctor said closing the door. He ran back over to his scanners and turned the monitor on so they could watch the two figures talking.

"Why is Sam talking to Metatron?" Meg asked.

"I don't know," the Doctor mumbled. "Maybe we should get back to the bunker."

"It's done," Kevin said to Dean as Ryse dried her hands on a towel. "All you have to do is activate it with your blood."

"Ok. Thanks Kev," Dean said.

"Dean, come on, what's going on?"

"Just trust me."

"Trust you?" Kevin reiterated. "I always trust you and I always end up screwed."

"Oh come on, always? Not always." He looked at Ryse who raised her hands up and backed away. "Not always."

"Whatever. Let me know when you decide to tell me what's going on."

Kevin sat down at the table and pulled the tablet to him. Dean and Ryse exchanged looks before Ryse remembered something, "Oh! Clara called."

"What'd she want? Where are they anyway?" Dean asked.

"She was checking in. Guess the Doctor got distracted."

"What are they doing?" Dean asked.

"Well the Doctor wanted to visit Heaven and Hell so that's what they did."

"Um, can he do that?" Ryse raised an eyebrow at him. "Ok, I guess he's doing it no matter what. When are they coming back?"

"Didn't say." They heard the door open. "I think Uncle Sam's back."

"Great," Dean said taking a breath. "Wish me luck."

Ryse gave him hug, "It'll all work out fine Uncle Dean."

She watched her Uncle Dean walk away, heard him asking her Uncle Sam to follow her. There was a foreboding feeling in her gut. She wished she could've been in there with him when he did it, but they weren't sure how the sigil was going to work with her in the room.

Ryse wrapped her arms around herself and looked around the room as Kevin continued to take notes from the tablet. She saw that her dad had left an angel blade sitting on top of one of the books cases and walked over to it, not wanting to pick it up for fear of hurting herself, but wanting a closer look at it all the same. It was the only thing she had found that actually did any damage to her and she was curious as to why. Even the demon blade did nothing to her.

"Uncle Kevin?"

"Ok, it's weird you calling me Uncle when I'm really not all the much older than you," He sighed. He looked up at her when she didn't response. "Sorry. What's up?"

"Why is it you think this blade hurts me when nothing else does?" she asked pointing at it.

"I don't know. It could be any number of things," Kevin replied looking over his notes. "I can look into if you want?"

"If you want. I know you have other things going on right now," Ryse smiled. Kevin nodded and looked back down at his notebook before a noise got both their attention.

"Oh hey Sam," Kevin said as Sam came storming into the room. Ryse watched, something seemed off. "Hey, you ok? Where's Dean?"

"Dean's fine," Sam said stepping closer to Kevin. Ryse saw it before Kevin did. Without thinking she picked up the blade and rushed forward pointing it at her Uncle Sam's throat just as he touched Kevin's head. Kevin stared wide-eyed and terrified between Ryse and Sam. "Put that down."

"Who are you?" Ryse snapped, biting through the pain of her hand burning. "You're not Ezekiel, so who are you?"

The next few seconds seemed to happen in slow motion. Ryse watched her Uncle, or whoever was using her Uncle's body, throw Kevin into the opposite shelves, knocking him unconscious. At the same time, Dean came running into the room followed by the tell-tale sign of the TARDIS materializing. Sam grabbed her wrist that was holding the blade and twisted it back, causing her to drop it into his waiting hand.

"NO!" Ryse heard several voices yell.
