I actually wrote this shortly after I wrote and post the last chapter of this story, but I wanted to wait until I wrote and posted a chapter in For a Masa before I posted this. So here you go, read and review everyone ^^ Hope you enjoy!

"Father is certainly much angrier in this timeline." Mach said as he stretched, looking at the girl sitting beside him on the small hill. It had been almost a year since his half-sister had returned to this world with him in tow, and what a year it had been too...

"We're lucky Miss Amy is as nice in this timeline as yours, or you wouldn't have anywhere to stay." Chloe agreed as she stared at the sky with a sigh, adjusting her visor a bit. "I should have gotten Kamana or Custard to ask for me...or maybe someone who has nothing to do with the Chaotix, I wasn't thinking at all..." She rambled, causing her half-brother to cut her off.

"It's fine Chloe, everything worked out. Besides, you're hardly the type to think that far ahead." He pointed out, the hybrid looking at him with a sheepish smile.

"Yeah, I guess so." The orange eyed girl agreed with a small laugh of her own. "Oh, how are you and Cherise getting along?" She asked in curiosity.

"As well as can be expected." The red eyed boy responded, the girl's looking at him oddly.

"In other words...?"

"I can tolerate her, don't ask for anything more." The full-blood clarified, the younger of the two beginning to truly laugh. "Why are you laughing?!" He demanded in annoyance.

"I'm sorry!" The detective apologised, though it didn't sound as serious as it would have if she'd stopped laughing to say it. "I just remembered how much you hated me in the beginning, that's all." She explained once she'd finally stopped laughing, smiling in nostalgia.

"I forgot about that...I really did hate you back then..." The 'hero' agreed, also reminiscing.

"I'm pretty sure you wanted me dead." Chloe pointed out with another laugh.

"I wouldn't have gone that far, just..." The tanned boy trailed off as he realised he really had wanted her dead before he'd begun to become attached, it was only her place as Child of Chaos that kept him from doing anything reckless or stupid.

"See? You wanted me dead. Very dead." She reminded Mach, causing him to look down in shame. "Hey, no worried. I'm sitting here, aren't I? So all's well."

"It didn't help that you weren't very obedient in the beginning." The red rider reminded her.

"In my defense, you kidnapped me without explanation...then admitted you kidnapped me, still without an explanation."

"...Fair enough." He agreed, looking up as his half-sister had before. "Speaking of all that...I wonder how H...Sugar and the others are doing." The full-blood added.

"I was wondering that myself." The hybrid admitted with a sigh, looking up as well. Her head suddenly turned sharply with a small gasp, eyed wide.

"Chloe?" Her half-brother asked in worry.

"No...no way..." She murmured before standing up, staring in the direction she had suddenly began looking in. Without explanation the orange eyed girl began running in that direction, jumping off the hill.

"Chloe!" The red eyed boy called after her, getting up and dashing when he realised that she wasn't listening to him. "What's up with you?!" He growled angrily as he caught up, upset that she was suddenly acting so different.

"There." The detective stopped suddenly, pointing to nothing.

"What?" The 'hero' questioned, looking at the other in confusion.

"Come on." Suddenly grabbing the boy's wrist, the girl pulled him forward and through what seemed to be a small rift in space and time.

"I can't believe it worked..." Came a familiar yet more mature male voice.

"Neither can I." Admitted another familiar yet more mature voice, this time female.

"Wait...you mean that you didn't even know if that machine was going to work but you still entered it anyway?!" Growled the male.

"Stop arguing you two...they're here." Said a third voice, also male. Chloe blinked, trying to clear her sudden headache and the white that was her vision.

"H...how...?" Mach asked as his eyes adjusted, staring at the three in front of his half-sister and himself.

"I was right...I did sense you two." The chameleon hybrid said as her own vision adjusted, smiling at the group.

"Chloe...Mach..." In front of the two stood Fist, Sugar and K'aak, though the first two seemed a few years older. "K'aak's machine really worked..." Sugar said with a smile of her own, looking as though she was about to cry. Her goggles were gone, though she wore the same dress just with tight sleeves to her elbows. She had pale brown khakis and gloves with pale blue cuffs, a white sleeveless and turtleneck vest that was done up at the top and blue and white dress up shoes all that was left of her new outfit.

"Of course." K'aak said simply, though he was clearly proud of himself.

"You shouldn't trust someone who used to be a bucket of bolts so completely Sugar..." Fist had changed the most, having been the youngest...it seemed his personality had become harsher as well. He too wore a sleeveless turtleneck, though his in black and silver-grey, which covered his mouth. His pants were black with silver-grey trim and while his gloves hadn't changed his shoes had, becoming more simplistic in design...he also wore a black cowboy hat to hide his ears with a silver-grey stripe around it.

"Fist?" The orange eyed girl asked the boy, causing him to look away shyly.

"Y-yeah...it's been five years for us, so I've grown some..." He explained to the girl.

"I guess the time in that world still hasn't righted itself." The streaked hedgehog pointed out with a sigh.

"That is probably because you are in Chloe's world Mach." The rabbit hybrid stated.

"We should just be glad that it hasn't caused either world any problems." The once robot said, everyone nodding in agreement. He hadn't changed a bit...not that anyone had expected him to. "I was working on a machine to create rifts in both worlds that connected all this time, Tails has been helping me." He added.

"You're just as amazing as I thought you'd be K'aak." The detective indicated, smiling at him...he blushed slightly.

"We just wanted to see you both again, that's all." He clarified, looking sheepish.

"The fact that you came up with such a machine, with or without Mr. Tails help, is amazing in and of itself." The 'hero' agreed.

"I'm afraid we won't be here for much longer, the rifts don't last long. It was...great to see you both again though." The pure red full-blood smiled at the two. Looking at each other the half-siblings nodded, hugging each of their friends.

"It was great, thank you so much K'aak." Chloe said thankfully, hugging him again.

"The machine works fine, we'll meet again...there's no reason to sound like we'll never see each other again." The now inventor pointed out, the girl smiling.

"Yes...so there's no reason to say goodbye." She decided, her half-brother nodding along with the rest of the group.

"See ya later." Mach said as the rift began to tremble, giving a flick of his wrist as a wave.

"Yeah." The group of three agreed, all of them being expelled back to the world they'd entered from.

"I'm glad we got to see them again." Chloe stated with a smile, sitting where the rift had been.

"I'm glad you were able to sense them." Mach said with a smile of his own, happy to have seen his friends again.

"M..ch...Mach!" The two turned to see Cherise Rose Hedgehog, the pink and blue girl running towards them.

"Looks like it's time to go home." The red eyed boy said, the other nodding. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" He yelled back before turning to his sister. "See you later." He gave her a quick kiss on the forehead before dashing towards his caretaker's daughter.

"Yeah...see ya." The orange eyed girl agreed, giving a small and happy laugh before Chaos Controlling home.

Cherise really isn't that important to this, she just was around for mention in the first chapter and later for Chloe to dislike. You didn't really think I'd keep everyone from seeing Chloe and Mach again, did you? ;) Anyway, see you all later for the second Epilogue and the final update to this story.
