As Logan pulled up into Kendall's driveway, Kendall sighed.

"What?" Logan asked, making Kendall shake his head.

"I just didn't want this weekend to end."

"And why is that?" Logan chuckled, making Kendall exhale a sad sounding sigh.

"Because that means I have to go back to the real world."

"The real world's not that bad," Logan said, making Kendall shake his head once again.

"Logie… I have something to tell you…"

"What is it?" Kendall bit his lip; he didn't really want to tell him, but he knew he had to.

"You know how school ends in a couple weeks?"

"Yeah."

"…I'll be spending all summer at Aunt Julie's."

"Oh. So I won't see you?"

"No…"

"All summer?"

"I'm sorry. I should have told you sooner."

"Yeah you should have," Logan said, a bit of anger seeping into his voice. He took a shuddering breath and gave Kendall a forced smile. "Well then, we'll just have to make these last two weeks count, won't we?" Kendall grinned a bit and nodded.

"Yeah, I guess we will." Logan leaned over and pressed a soft kiss to Kendall's lips.

"You should go in; I can see your mom and Katie peeking out the window."

"Oh God," Kendall chuckled, looking to see two pairs of eyes watching them intently. "They're not even trying to be subtle about it!" Logan chuckled and kissed him again.

"Go in. I'll see you tomorrow okay?"

"Okay," Kendall murmured, kissing him goodbye once again. "I had fun this weekend."

"Me too Love. Now go."

"Fine. Bye."

"Bye." Logan watched Kendall go in before he began to drive home; a wave of unease washed over him as he thought about a whole summer without Kendall.

"So, it's okay if I crash here for the next two weeks?" Brandon asked James while the two were eating pizza in James' living room.

"Sure. You're lucky that your school got out early."

"Yep. Your mom don't mind?"

"Nah man, you know she loves you," James chuckled, wiping sauce off his chin. Brandon grinned and put down his pizza.

"Where is everyone anyways?"

"Logan's on his way back from his weekend-getaway, mom and dad are shopping, and Camille is out with her friends."

"Just us?"

"Yep."

"We should go watch a movie on the big screen TV!" James laughed as Brandon raced upstairs to the media room.

"Wait for me!" James followed after him, hearing him laugh at him. He found Brandon already curled up on the loveseat, waiting for him.

"Well come on slowpoke," he said, patting the seat next to him. James rolled his eyes and sat next to him. "I already picked our movie," he said, hitting play on the remote. The two sat there, Brandon unconsciously snuggling into James's side.

"Brandon…"

"Yeah?"

"What are we doing?"

"…Watching a movie?" Brandon asked, although he didn't look at James as he spoke. "Why do you ask?"

"I just… I'm getting mixed signals from you."

"Yeah…"

"You know Carlos just broke up with me a few days ago…"

"I know. That's why I haven't done anything," whispered Brandon; James didn't miss the hint of sadness that was in his words though.

"What would you be doing then?"

"James…" Brandon said, sitting up some, "You know I've always liked you, but you never wanted us to be anything more than friends because you knew I didn't want to just be a fling, remember? You didn't want to hurt me."

"Yeah…"

"So no," Brandon said, cradling his face a bit, "I like you too much to just be a rebound from this Carlos guy okay?"

"What would you do Brandon?"

"I would kiss you," he said softly, still cradling James's face, "I would kiss you until both of us were panting through swollen lips. Then I would drag you to your bedroom and we would make love all night until we were both sweaty and sore."

"God," James whispered, closing his eyes. Brandon swiped his thumb over James' soft lips before he inhaled harshly.

"But we can't do any of that." James opened his eyes to Brandon's own pleading eyes hooked on him.

"Brandon…"

"I can't be a rebound fling James. So unless you want to give me a chance…"

"Go out with me."

"What?"

Instead of responding, James covered Brandon's lips with his, silencing them both as they tumbled to the rough material below them.

Carlos was laughing as Miles made faces at him across the table.

They were on their third night out this weekend, and Carlos was having a lot of fun. He didn't think about James as much as he thought he would.

But a part of his heart still ached for him; he just pushed that part back and focused on the older guy across from him.

He knew he was playing with fire when he was with Miles, but he figured he was old enough to make his own decisions about these things; he knew he was wrong there, but liked to pretend he wasn't.

"So Carlos," Miles said, grinning at him, "Have you enjoyed 'hanging out' with me?" Carlos blushed and nodded.

"Yeah. It's been… nice."

"Nice? Guess I'll take what I can get," Miles chuckled as their waitress dropped off their bill. "Ready?"

"Yeah," Carlos murmured as they got up from the table; Miles wound an arm around Carlos' waist as he paid for their dinner. As they walked out to his car, Carlos looked at him. "Miles…"

"Yeah?"

"…Where do you see us going?" Miles was silent as they began to drive; he passed Carlos' house and kept going until they were at the park, the very place they met.

"Carlos… I like you. I think you're cute, and great to be around; I know you're only 15, so anything we do would be illegal, but my feelings… we've gone out three times in this one weekend, and I just… I guess I'm used to the adult life that I sometimes forget you're so young. I wish I could take you to my apartment and do things with you that you probably haven't even imagined; but I can't. I know you still love that James guy and I can't even compare to him, but… I'd like for you to give me a chance. Let me show you that I can be a good boyfriend, even if in the end, you want to go back to him. But there's the age difference… I can live with being a secret boyfriend though, if you'd let me."

Carlos was surprised by these words; he began to twist his fingers in his lap as he thought about this.

"Okay," he whispered, meeting Miles eyes, which seemed to brighten at that simple word. "A secret boyfriend… that's all mine." A grin split Miles' lips as he cupped Carlos's face with his hands and pressed the sweetest kiss that Carlos had ever received to his lips.

"You won't regret this." Carlos grinned as Miles began to drive him home. He bit his lip as he let a wild thought run through though.

'I hope not. I'm sorry James.'

Noooo, Carlos and James, doooon't!

Well, this should be interesting right? Or am I just throwing this story completely in a loop and just screwing it up?

If I am, I'm sorry.

I really am.

Thanks for reading anyway.
