Chapter 21: Moment of Happiness
The next day had finally come and Saeko awoke from her slumber. She looked down at the still sleeping Hakami and smiled. She reached out her hand and slid it down his pants to grab his member which immediately woke him up. "Is that how you wake someone up?" He asked in an annoyed tone. Saeko removed her hand and laughed "You like it don't you?" She teased. Hakami just put the covers over his head and sighed "Shut up!" He groaned.
The two got up from bed and got dressed.
Ten minutes later the two walked down the stairs to see the others waiting on them. "So the weakling was able to get up huh?" Hakami asked. Miyonji smirked and looked away not giving him a reply. Kohta noticed this and laughed "What's this? No smart come back Miyonji?" He asked. Takashi smirked and looked at his best friend " Your in a good mood did something happen between you and Saya?" He asked as he whispered to him.
Miyonji shook his head and continued to smile "No its nothing like that. I just woke up so I'm not really able to retaliate just yet" Miyonji explained which made Takashi laugh harder. "Looks like we're already to go so shall we head out?" Rika asked. Everyone nodded and headed out the door and walked down the street.
An hour has passed and not a zombie was in sight. The group walked near a market and stopped to look at it. "Hey guys we should grab some supplies before we get to Soriejji's house" Takashi said. Kohta nodded "Especially food seeing as his fridge probably doesn't work we're gonna have to grab things that don't need to be cooked like chips or something" Kohta added.
Saya looked at him and sighed "Is that all you think about?" She asked. Kohta turned his attention to her "I'm not saying that I'm hungry I'm just stating the obvious Saya we're going to need food to keep up our strength" He explained trying to justify his words. Rei smiled at the scene she was witnessing and then looked at her lover "Well then let's go" She said which earned her a smile and nod from Takashi.
The group walked inside and soon split up into different aisles of the store. Alice looked through the candy aisle and smiled at all the chocolates in front of her "Big brother can I have these?" Alice asked. Miyonji looked at Saya who sighed and then back at Alice "Fine you can but you can only have one a day and I want you to grab a toothbrush because I'm going to get us Toothpaste okay?" He explained. Alice nodded her head and grabbed a backpack that the store was selling and put a bunch of candy in it along with a toothbrush. Takashi smiled and leaned over to Miyonji "You sound just like a father" he teased. Miyonji gave him an annoyed look "Shut up you know I'm just looking out for her" He stated. Takashi laughed and began to walk away "Okay whatever you say my friend" He replied. Miyonji sighed and quickly grabbed a bunch of tooth paste and put it in his bag along with a few toothbrushes.
As Runo was getting canned food he noticed that Shizuka was deep in thought. "Hun is everything okay?" He asked. She snapped out of her thought and smiled "Yes I am. But can you wait right here I have to get something" She stated. Runo looked at her as she walked away 'She seems to have something on her mind' Runo thought to himself as he continued to gather food.
As Miyonji walked through the aisle that were full of drinks he decided that he should get some bottled water and juices for Alice. 'Its going to be a long journey so I'll have to take everything that seems useful.' He thought to himself.
"Big Brother!"
Miyonji quickly ran over to Alice who was in the toy aisle with her puppy Zero. She smiled at Miyonji and lifted up a brown stuffed teddy bear. "Big brother can I have it?" She asked. Miyonji smiled at it and was about to answer until Garasu spoke.
"It's about time you learn that the world you knew isn't the same any more! We don't have the time to be carrying around toys." Garasu stated which made Miyonji and Alice look at him. "Step off man! She's still a child" Miyonji said. Garasu shook his head at the retort "It doesn't matter any more! You can say she's a child all you like but it doesn't change the fact that things aren't normal anymore. Meaning she's going to have to grow up and learn to protect herself. Toys are not going to protect her she's better off carrying a gun then a stupid bear" Garasu explained in a harsh tone.
"So she can shoot herself with it? Listen to yourself man your making no sense" Miyonji replied. Saya walked over to them and stood in between them knowing that a fight was about to happen.
"Alright that's enough Miyonji he has a point. Alice is going to have to learn that toys are not useful to this situation we're in, she needs something that's going to protect her and Zero is too small to be fighting these corpses so he doesn't count" She stated. Alice looked down at Zero in sadness she knew that everyone was only saying these things because they wanted her to live.
Miyonji looked at her in shock but then calmed himself down with a sigh "I know things aren't the same Saya and I know she'll have to learn that but as of right now what is one little bear gonna hurt?" He asked. Garasu shook his head "If you give her that bear it's just going to show that you don't take this seriously" Garasu stated.
Miyonji growled in anger as he looked at Garasu "Are you kidding me right now!?" Miyonji exclaimed. Saya pushed him back and looked into his eyes "That's enough Miyonji! She's not getting the bear and that's final. Do you understand me?" She said in a scolding manner. Miyonji looked at Alice who still had a sad look on her face and then back to Saya. "Let's go put it back Alice." He said. Alice nodded and followed him down the aisle.
Garasu glanced at Saya once more before walking away. Saya sighed as Alice and Miyonji walked away and then smiled knowing he was too stubborn to listen. Miyonji looked back to see Saya beginning to walk away and quickly opened Alice's bag and grabbed bear from her. He put it in the bag and zipped it up as she looked at him "Big Brother?" She said.
Miyonji and gave her the thumbs up and smiled. "This is the only toy I'm going to be able to give you for awhile. After this it's going to be nothing but weapons until we get our lives back to normal okay?" He asked. Alice nodded and gave him a tight hug. Miyonji embraced her and kissed the top of her head before letting her go.
Hakami was in the food section and scanned the meats that were inside the not one working freezer. "They're probably no good but we have to have something" He said to himself as he grabbed some meat and other supplies.
Rika and Vergil stood near the entrance door and waited for everyone to gather so they could leave. Two minutes had passed and everyone had grabbed everything they needed and headed out the doors with Rika. They were now walking down the street heading towards their destination once again.
"So you got involved in their business huh?" Rika asked. Garasu looked forward not even taking the time to look at her. "The stubborn one and the little girl needs to grow up and know that this is not a game! We're not here to play around" he stated. Rika sighed and shook her head "You just don't understand! You just caused a problem between them now they're not going to treat that girl the same way they did before" She stated.
Kohta smiled and shook his head as he walked near them "I doubt it. Those two are not easily persuaded by others and to top it off they care deeply for Alice. They would never treat her different just because of something someone said" He explained.
Before Rika could say some Garasu dashed forward after a zombie that had just appeared. He grabbed the zombie by the head and quickly slammed it into a wall of a building that was on the left side of him. The zombie stopped moving and fell to the ground "Did you have to get all dramatic with it?" Miyonji asked.
"Hey Sueenji isn't that the same thing he did to you a while back?" Hakami mocked. Miyonji growled at him "Shut it Soriejji" He replied.'
"I'm not letting any of them live if I see even one I'm taking them out. Simple as that" He replied. Miyonji sighed and continued to walk with Alice on his shoulders. He didn't have the strength to argue with Garasu.
"I wonder how long it'll take before this whole situation is fixed I mean I don't want to live like this forever" Rei stated. Kohta looked at her and sighed "It could take years before that happens and that's if we even survive before it's solved. This could be happening all over the world for all we know" He said.
"He's right. Just imagine if this was going on state by state it would be a catastrophe" Rika added. "Well sitting here worrying about it isn't going to change the situation" Saya stated. Vergil nodded "She's right we need to worry about is capturing Shido" Vergil added.
An hour and a half had passed and the group had finally made it. The group walked up to the large gate, and everyone but Saeko was shocked. "Damn…" Miyonji said. "I had no idea you were loaded, Soriejji." Hakami smirked his evil smirk. "My father owns one of the largest kendo franchises around the world. He makes Dojos all around the world, why do you think I am the way I am? I'm cocky and back it up with ease." Hakamki kept on walking, and got to the gate. Pressing in a code on the device on the side of the gate, it suddenly began to open electronically and let the group enter. As they got in, Hakami closed the gates and turned. Everyone collectively gasped, other than Hakami, Saeko and Garasu. "Nice place, kid." Garasu commented. Hakami chuckled a bit.
"Of course. Where else?"Miyonji just face palmed at that comment. The home itself was huge, a large traditional looking japanese home. "It looks traditional, it's traditional, but with modern day appliances. Do not touch anything without permission, do not break anything or you will pay for it in blood and I pick who gets roomed where." Hakami said in one long break. Miyonji just looked at him. "We don't get to pick our rooms?" Said Miyonji. "No. I pick where you go, since I am the man of the house.
"Hakami shrugged and kept going. Looking up, it was a large home with three stories counting the underground basement. The house was a light green with a dark brown roof. It looked old but it was kept in shape. "This is a home that has been passed down for generations, updated every couple decades. We updated when my Father got it, nineteen years ago, just before I was born." Miyonji was astonished, and so was everyone else. Hakami was using long sentences instead of frustrated grunts. As they stepped in through the front doors, they passed large bushes and slightly over grown grass, due to most of the gardeners becoming zombies in the likeliest event.
"There is a courtyard in the middle with a fully sized dueling arena. Any challenges will be overseen by myself, Saeko, or Sueenji over here." Miyonji looked at Hakami with an extremely confused and surprised grin. "We fought together and survived together, Sueenji. You are still a bastard, but a respected one." Hakami turned and walked on.
"Alright, rooming. Me and Saeko will be in my room of course. Miyamoto and Hinikuna will room together, Komuro and Hirano will room together. Saya and the little one will room together..." He started until Miyonji cut him off.
"So you're saying that I'll be sleeping outside or something?" Miyonji asked. Hakami shook his head and smirked "Nope you'll be rooming with Tora. Marikawa will be rooming with Rika and Garasu will be rooming with Vergil" He finished.
Miyonji gave him an annoyed smile "You think you're pretty slick rooming all the boys together while your the only one who can sleep with a girl" Miyonji growled. Hakami smirked "No ones doing anything indecent in my house" He replied. "Just like you did at my house" Miyonji stated which made Hakami smirk and walk away.
"I swear I hate him" Miyonji said. Saeko smiled and looked at Miyonji "Don't worry about it I'm pretty sure he'll change his mind sooner than you think" She said as she winked her eye at Miyonji and gave a small glance to Alice.
"So what are we going to be eating tonight?" Runo asked. Everyone shrugged their shoulders "I guess the snacks we picked up we can't use anything that works on electricity because it's down" Runo stated.
"You don't have to worry about that."
Everyone heard Hakami's voice coming from the down the hall. They followed it and found themselves inside a big kitchen where 3 Grills that he brought in from his back yard would be sitting in the middle of the floor. "Why do you have Grills inside your house?" Vergil asked. "Because you idiot that's what we're going to cook all this food on" Hakami said as he opened his backpack to reveal all the raw meat he had taken from the store.
Takashi walked over and expected it "Well it's been almost a week since the electricity went out so it might be a little spoiled but food is food in this type of situation" He stated.
"This grill isn't powered by electricity all you have to do is put some Charcoal and lighter fluid and you should be able to cook with no problem" Hakami explained.
This made everyone excited "Expired or not I'm looking forward to having some meat for a change" Miyonji said. "Well who's going to cook I'm pretty sure none of the guys know how to cook" Shiko said. Miyonji smirked and shook his head "I know how to cook." Takashi smirked and nudged Miyonjis shoulder "Well it's good thing you can 'cause we all know your girlfriend can't cook to save her li-" He started until he was smack in the back of his head by Saya.
"Want to repeat that Komuro!" She exclaimed. He shook his head in fear and kept his mouth closed knowing she was about to hit him again. "Well I'm pretty sure you don't want to be the only guy to cook so how about the girls cook and you guys just sit here and relax there's a lot of meat to cook so it's going to take a while.
Everyone nodded and agreed to the terms. Hakami looked at the guys once more before sitting down on his couch. Miyonji looked at Takashi and shook his head "You know you dug yourself into that one" She stated as he also sat down on one of the couches in the room. The boys all decided to sit down "It's true she doesn't know how to cook. If you guys ever get married you'll be the cook of the relationship" He laughed.
Miyonji shook his head and sighed "She'll learn eventually and besides it's not her cooking I fell in love with it was-" He started until Kohta cut him off. "It was her personality and blah, blah, blah we've heard it all before man" Kohta said. Everyone nodded their heads including Takashi "He's got a point there" Takashi added.
Miyonji shook his head once more and smirked "Whatever!" he laughed. Hakami crossed his arms and closed his eyes "So has it hit you yet that out of all the relationships going on between you, Takashi and Runo you're the only one who hasn't gotten laid yet" He mocked.
Miyonji sighed and closed his eyes as he folded his arms "You're really trying to piss me off aren't you first you separate me from my girl and now you're cracking jokes" He said. Hakami stayed in the same position and spoke "Get over it" He stated. Miyonji kept calm and also spoke "I've been over it" He replied.
Vergil looked at the two and gave them a nervous smile "Alright guys let's just relax. Why can't we all just get along?" Vergil asked. Runo who was sitting next to Vergil put a hand on his shoulder and smiled "Don't worry this is their way of showing that they care for each other" Runo informed.
Garasu sighed and looked out the window 'The more time we waste the more time Shido has to get away' He thought to himself.
"Sometimes I swear she'll always be running the relationship between you two" Takashi said. Miyonji glared at him "Shut up! And what about Rei we both know she be shutting you down here and there when you're not bitch slapping her" He responded.
"That's a low blow Miyonji" Kohta said. Miyonji gave him a smirk "Hey he started it, not me" Miyonji siad. Takashi gave him a smirk back "I only smacked her so she would stop freaking out but lets not forget how you smacked Saya on the beach" He stated.
Miyonji shook his head trying to forget that memory "It was only because she was throwing herself at me when she was in a daze" Miyonji stated. Hakami shook his head and smirked "You're just destined to be a virgin forever! You go ahead and be a nice guy all you like while we get laid we won't stop you" Hakami teased.
"Shut up! Go stand in the corner like you always do looking at who knows what and Takashi shouldn't you be getting bossed around by Rei like you usually do" He said. Takashi laughed and shook his head "That's actually you Mr. Sad songs...Feel like a heart attack!" Takashi mocked. Miyonji just sighed knowing that Takashi was just going to keep going no matter what he said. Everyone laughed and enjoyed the moment.
Meanwhile the girls were in the kitchen begging to cook. Saeko, Saya and Alice were at one grill. Rei and Shiko were at the other and Shizuka and Rika were at the last one. Saeko was whisking Ketchup, Soy and Wasabi in a bowl as she looked at Saya who sighed. "You want to learn right for Sueenji's sake. I mean I'm sure you don't want him to be cooking everyday you know a way to a man's heart is through his stomach" she explained.
Saya sighed while Alice smiled "He'll like it if it's from you Saya" Alice said. Saya sighed and gave in knowing they were right as much she hated to admit it she owed a lot to Miyonji. She knew that he only said having her was all he needed but she knew she need to pay him back in some ways. Nodding her head she waited for instructions.
Saeko smiled "Well I'm going to teach you how to make a homemade burger with Wasabi and ketchup." She paused looking to see if Saya was paying attention and then continued.
"First mix together the breadcrumbs and milk in a bowl and let sit until the breadcrumbs absorb all the milk, for about 5 minutes. When the breadcrumbs are ready, mix them together with the ground beef, ground pork, black pepper, onion, soy sauce, and salt in a large bowl." Saeko instructed.
Saya did as she was told nice and slowly trying not to make any mistakes. Alice watched also wanting to learn for future use. "Next Saya use your hands to knead the meat until it becomes sticky and binds together." Saeko said. Saya nodded and began to do so slowly pressing her hand against the raw meat.
They were wearing aprons that were found in the kitchen closet so they didn't have to worry about getting dirty. "Good! Now divide the mixture into 4 equal parts. Lightly dab your hands with sesame oil and using your palms, roll each part of the meat into a ball, then pat the ball flat, shifting it from hand to hand, to form a 1/2-inch-thick patty." She added.
Alice watched as Saya was forming a burger with her hands. She looked down at her puppy zero and rubbed his head.
"Now I'm going to preheat the grill but we should wait to put these on all the other food is going to take longer and we don't wanna give them cold food" She said. "Alright" Saya replied.
Rei put five pieces of steak on her side of the grill while Shiko put Chicken on her side. "Saya cooking for Miyonji, I never thought I'd see the day. I always thought he was going to be the cook" Shiko said. Rei smiled "Love makes you do the unthinkable."
Shizuka looked at Rika who was placing chicken on the grill slowly cooking it. Saeko looked at Saya and nodded at her "Okay Saya now Grill the burgers until they're nicely browned for about ten minutes. These burgers have to cook through completely because of the pork; You don't want to give him bloody burgers so make sure to cook them on both sides by flipping them" She explained.
Saya nodded and placed eight burgers on the grill, Saeko looked at the burgers and handed Saya a bottle of Adobe. This is food seasoning it's kind of like salt but for meat it'll give its good flavor so sprinkle some on both sides of the burgers." She added. Saya nodded and grabbed the spatula as she flipped the burgers and began sprinkling some of the seasoning on them.
As Shiko was cooking her chicken she remembered something very important. "Saya! If I'm not mistaken isn't today June 25th?" She asked. Saya turned her head to look at her "Yes but why does it matter?" She asked. Shiko smiled and looked at her food "Try to think Saya I know the situation we're in has messed with our heads but I'm pretty sure you could never forget what tomorrow is" Shiko stated. Saya thought for a moment before realising what she was talking about. "Tomorrow is Miyonji's birthday. Knowing that idiot he probably forgot," Saya replied.
"So what are you going to get him Saya?" Alice asked. Saya raised her eyebrow and looked at her "What are you talking about? What can i possible get him especially when we're pursuing someone at the moment." Saya said. Saeko smirked while she continued to cook "Just remember that there are ways to please a man without buying material things" Saeko teased.
Saya's face lit up from Saeko's comment "Shut up!" She yelled in embarrassment.
Twenty minutes had passed and the food was finally finished. The girls served the guys their plates. Everybody turned to see Saya handing Miyonji a plate which made Takashi smirked "Saya did you make that yourself?"
"Yup Busujima instructed her while she cooked it. She cooked it just for you Miyonji" Shiko stated. Takashi smirked and looked at Miyonji "Aren't you lucky" He teased. Miyonji just glared at him "Shut up."
Everyone watched silently as Miyonji slowly took a bite out of the burger. He began to chew slowly and once he swallowed it his eyes went wide. Everyone awaited his answer preparing for the worst "It's good! It's really good please say you have more" Miyonji said. This made Saya smile she couldn't help but smile he was actually eating and liking her food.
"Yes there's plenty more I've made 12 in all so eat as much as you like" she said and Miyonji smiled and continued to eat.
"Wait your still alive? Let me try that there's no way-" Takashi started until Miyonji cut him off by holding his burger back . "No fucking way this is for me and Alice and only us! Eat your own girlfriends cooking, or are you afraid that it might not be as good as this?" He stated in a protective tone.
"That's not fair man come on learn to share" Takashi said as he reached over. "Get lost!" Miyonji replied which made Alice smile with joy. Everyone enjoyed their food and had a good time Miyonji continued to eat as Alice and Saya watched him with a smile.
Later that night Saeko and Hakami were laying down in his bed. Hakami began touching Saekos breast and slowly started to take off her shirt until a knock was heard on his door.
"Um Hakami are you awake?"
Hakami and Saeko realised that it was Alice's voice coming from his door. Hakami continued to massage Saeko's breast until she grabbed his hand "Answer her" She stated. Hakami just raised an eyebrow "Let's just ignore her" He replied.
Saeko didn't look to pleased by his statement "Hakami Sorrieji if you don't answer right now then I will turn around and go to sleep right now" She said in a scolding tone. Hakami stood up and sighed as he walked to the door. When he opened it he gave her an annoyed look "What do you want young one?" He asked.
Alice looked at him at him and smiled "Hakami can you please let big brother come sleep with me and Saya I can't sleep without him there," She said as she gave him the puppy dog eyes. "No." He stated frankly. "Hakami!" Saeko said in a shocked and scolding tone. "Did Saya ask you to come to me?" He asked. Alice shook her head "She didn't want me to bother you about it but please Hakami I'm begging you" she said
Saeko smiled and looked at the girl "Alice don't beg him. You go get Miyonji and bring him to your room okay" she said. Alice smiled cheerfully and nodded "Thank you!" She stated before running off.
Hakami looked at her with a shocked look "Are you kidding me right now? What did i say earlier? I told him no one is getting laid in my house" He said. She folded her arms and raised her eyebrow which made him sigh "Sueenji go with the little one and The cranky one but if you do anything in my house it's your life" He yelled down the hall before shutting his door and continuing his moment with a smiling Saeko.
Meanwhile in Vergil and Garasus room. The two would be looking at the bed and then each other "You're sleeping on the floor but I bet you're use to that" Vergil stated. Garasu just turned his head and looked out the window "You can have the bed Ver-gin it's not a problem at all" Garasu retorted. Vergil growled and walked over to Garasu "Say it again" Vergil demanded.
Garasu looked up at the man and then back to the window. "Ver-" He started until Vergil punched him in the face. Garasu did not say a word for at least a moment before he soon grabbed Vergil by the neck and held him up against the wall behind him. "If you ever put your hands on me again I'll take your life before you can even think of reacting" Garasu said in a cold tone.
Vergil smirked while he was barely able to breathe "If you don't let me go...I'll blow you me and this entire place to kingdom come... take a look at my hand" he said. Garasu looked down to see Vergil holding a bomb that looked to be something to worry about. Garasu saw that Vergil had his hand on the trigger and was ready to pull it out if need be. Garasu released him and walked away to the left side of the room and say on the floor while Vergil smirked and put his Bomb away "That's what I thought" He said
Later that night Miyonji and Alice were laying in bed sleeping. Saya walked inside the room in her pink nightgown that she got from Hakami who said it was his mothers. She walked near the bed and was about to climb in when she noticed that Alice had a Teddy bear in her hand. Saya looked at Miyonji and glared as she walked over to him and grabbed him by his ear waking him up. "Ow! What the hell are you doing Saya" He said quietly knowing that Alice was asleep.
Saya pointed to Alice "I told you no Miyonji so why do I see the same stuffed animal from the store here?" She asked. Miyonji sighed and looked at Alice not saying a word 'Damn Alice couldn't you have kept it hidden' He thought to himself. Saya put her hands on her hips and continued to glare at him "Miyonji if you tell me that you had nothing to do with this I'm going to wake her up and spank her," Saya said in a scolding tone.
"No! It was my fault Saya I put it in her bag and said she could have it. If you're mad then I understand but there's no way I'm going to ruin her childhood just because of this situation. She can learn to protect herself but don't deprive her of kid things that's not fair and I'm not allowing it, Garasu has no say in the matter because I am her male guardian not him" He said.
Saya listened to what he had to say and sighed as she walked over to her side of the bed and climbed in. "You are so stubborn once you make up your mind! I'll let it slide this time Miyonji because you have a point but next time if I say no about something it's final, do you hear me?" She said knowing he wasn't going to follow that order. Miyonji sighed and nodded his head "Yeah, Yeah" He replied. Saya looked at him "Don't yeah, yeah me" She said as she leaned over to him and kissed his lips "I swear you can be an idiot sometimes" She added.
The next day Saeko and Hakami were embracing eachother in bed until his door suddenly opened. Hakami and Saeko turned to see Shizuka standing in front of the doorway. "Don't you know how to knock?" he asked in a annoyed tone.
Saeko laughed and spoke "Is there something wrong Marikawa?" She asked. Shizuka sighed and looked at Hakami. Saeko had figured out what she was trying to say and shook her head "Don't worry he won't say anything tell me what's wrong" She said.
Shizuka sighed for moment before holding up a little plastic stick that had a plus symbol in the middle. Saeko's eyes turned wide when she saw what it was and gasped "Marikawa don't tell me that's a -" She started until Shizuka interrupted her.
"Yes it is Busujima...I'm pregnant!" She informed. Which left Hakami and Saeko speechless. Moments later a sound of Hakami falling off the bed and on to the floor would be heard. "Marikawa I don't know what to say" Saeko said.
Shizuka nodded "I know i can't believe it myself either! I'm actually going to be a mommy" She said. Hakami got on his knees and put his hands on his bed "That's if you survive" Hakami stated which earned him a glare from Saeko "What? It's true" he said.
"Hush" She said before turning to look at Shizuka "Does my cousin know about this?" She asked. Shizuka shook her head "No but i was planning to tell him i just don't know how he's going to react to this" she said in a nervous tone. Saeko got out of bed and began pushing Shizuka out the door "We're telling him now" She stated.
"But Busujima" Shizuka complained. Hakami who was dumbfounded looked at Saeko while she walked away "Damn it!" Hakami said as he stood up and followed Saeko disappointed that he didn't get to finish what he was doing with Saeko.
Everyone was sitting in the living room talking before Saeko, Shizuka and Hakami. "Runo! Marikawa has something to tell you!" Saeko said which made everyone go quiet. "R-Runo there's something I-Important I have to tell you" Shizuka said. Runo looked at his lover and smiled "What do you want to tell me?" he asked. "Well Runo..." She started. Runo raised an eyebrow at her hesitation "Well?" He asked. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath "Runo I'm pregnant!" She stated. Runo eyes went wide along with everyone else's.
"What!?" Shiko exclaimed.
"That's unbelievable" Kohta added.
Saya was speechless as was Miyonji also.
"S-So I'm going to be a father?" He asked. She smiled and nodded as she rubbed her stomach "Yes!" She replied. Runo waited for a moment before he gave her a warm smile and stood up to embrace her. Rika smiled at her bestfriend and hugged her "Looks like we're going to have to keep you safe no matter what" Rika said. Vergil nodded in agreement "She's right and hopefully we'll be somewhere safe in nine months" He added which made Runo agree."Congratulations" Rei said.
Takashi shook his head and smiled "Oh man what else could happen?" He asked with a laugh. Miyonji sighed and stood up "Well there is one more thing" He said before he began to walk off. Takashi and Kohta knew what he was about to do and shook their heads.
"Should have known he couldn't wait" Takashi said. Kohta nodded his head and smiled "Well it is Miyonji we're talking about hopefully it goes well for him" He replied.
Saya looked at them and raised an eyebrow "What do you know?" She asked. Kohta laughed and shook his head "Sorry can't tell you" He replied. Saya glared at him "You better tell me right now you fat ass!" She exclaimed. Takashi smiled "Why not ask him yourself" He stated as Miyonji returned.
Saya looked at him and raised her eyebrow "Okay Miyonji what are you up too?" She asked. Miyonji sighed and noticed that everyone was watching him which made him feel a little embarrassed. 'You have to do this Miyonji if you don't then you'll never have the courage to do it' He thought to himself. Miyonji closed his eyes for a moment before opening them and speaking.
"Saya I know you're going to be pretty pissed off on what I'm about to do and it's probably not the right time for this but there's no telling if we'll survive this and I don't want my life to end without doing this" He said. Saya was now confused "What are you talking about?" She asked.
"Saya I know that we're still young and I know that we have a long way to go but with the situation the world is in right now tomorrow is not promised. When we broke up my life was pointless without you-" He started until Takashi cut him off.
"Ain't that the truth! All you ever did was sing sad songs all day and stare at the sky" Takashi teased which made everyone chuckle. Miyonji shook his head and kept going "The idiot is right, I was miserable and was singing sad songs. I felt like I made a mistake and I thought i had lost you forever" He said.
Saya was still confused wondering why he was bringing that up again "I still don't get what you're trying to tell me" She said. "Saya I realise that my life isn't complete if you're not in it. So when we get our lives together and when we live in a corpse free zone with no worries of being attacked I want to live in a house with you and Alice just the three of us" He said.
Alice and Saya were speechless, is this what he was getting? Is this what Takashi and Kohta made a big deal about?
Miyonji stayed silent before he continued to speak "If we're able to get out of this alive Saya..." He paused as he slowly reached until his back pocket to pulled out small box. He got down on one knee and opened it to reveal a 14-carat silver ring that shined from the sun's rays hitting it. "Will you marry me?" He asked.
Saya eyes were completely wide as Shiko, Rei, Shizuka and Alice squealed. "Miyonji that's so kawaii" Shiko squealed. Hakami shook his head "Idiot doesn't know what he's getting himself into" he muttered. "Miyonji" Runo said to himself in disbelief.
"I'm not saying we should marry at this age but I would at least like you to be my fiance until we get a little older and are ready to have the wedding...So what will it be Saya? Saya, Will you become my wife?" He asked.
Saya was still speechless she didn't know what to say. She did love him a lot and knew that some how their relationship would last but she never thought he would ask her this question now. Miynoji had a feeling he was about to get denied and was about to put the ring away until he saw a tear come down her eyes. "You are such an idiot" She said. Miynoji didn't know if she was denying him or not "That's what I said to you when I said yes to you when you asked me out...Miyonji Sueenji I will" She said in a soft tone.
Everyone except Hakami and Garasu smiled. Everyone walked over to them and congratulated them on their engagement.
"Wait a minute Miyonji where did you get that ring?" Shiko asked. Takashi looked at her and sighed "He took it from a jewelry store in the mall when we were there. He told me and Hirano not to say anything because he wanted to do it at the right moment" He explained.
"So big brother and Saya are going to get married I'm so happy" Alice said as she looked at the two. Miyonji and Saya looked at her and smiled knowing that when things finally settled down and they were finally safe and married their life would together would be one to remember especially with Alice there with them.
