Anything can be a trigger to a forgotten past...

The whole wedding reception was beautiful as Daphne Consuelos and the gang witnessed the entire ceremony with their eyes wide open. She sat next to Colby in a pink skater dress and heels. Her hair was curled for the event. Nikki Garcia-Colace was with John Cena and Renee Paquette was with Jon Good, while Brie Danielson was with Bryan. It shocked Daphne that he was able to come to the wedding because of him possibly requiring a second surgery for his neck, but Daphne was glad that she was with Brie, Nikki, Renee and now Celeste. It seemed like the gang was all here..well, almost.

"Oh my god, you guys!" Celeste Braun, the happy bride approached her wrestling friends, gathering them all for a group hug. Daphne and the other Divas wanted to get emotional and cry because they all missed Celeste in the own ways. Daphne thought that she had a lot of promise to be one of the best Divas in the WWE. Sadly, she gave that all up to be a wife. Celeste was wearing a white mermaid wedding dress with jewels all around. She was the most gorgeous bride around and she glowed.

"Celeste, we have missed you so much," Daphne grinned, "It's not the same without you." she looked at Brie, Nikki and Renee, who all shook their heads in agreement. The all knew that it was true not having the former Divas Champion part of their group when it came to the WWE, but Celeste will always be part of their group in all. But, Daphne and the Divas were happy about the success that Celeste was having with her Celestial Bodiez clothing brand. Daphne had bought a baby pink muscle tank and a trucker hat in support of her friend, which she used, whenever she went to the GYM.

"The whole ceremony is beautiful and the honeymoon is going to be something." Nikki said in a sly and seductive way as Brie slapped her sister on the arm. It was typical Nikki to make all of the sly comments, which embarrassed Brie. Nikki flinched when her sister smacked her in the arm. As many people thought that Brie was all skin and bones, she wasn't. She could hit people will the same force that someone like the Big Show when he smacked someone on the chest.

"Nicole!" Brie shouted embarrassed as she almost blushed because of her sister's bold comment.

"What?" Nikki retorted like she saw nothing wrong in her comments as Celeste and Renee giggled.

"Too much information for the wedding. Perhaps, you can make comments like that if you get married." Renee said as Daphne nodded.

"But on a serious note, I want to thank you for inviting us and not forgetting about us," Daphne hugged Celeste again, "I really needed to catch up with you and have a personal life."

Daphne's blue eyes were on a petite woman. The same petite woman that she hasn't see in a few months. The fear and emotion came rushing back to her like a wave as she tried to keep her composure when she is looking into the eyes of...

April Mendez.

"I can't believe that you got married." Jonathan Good told Phil Brooks as the two of them were having some guy time along with John Cena, Bryan Danielson, Joe Anoaí, and Colby Lopez. To be honest, he was the most shocked because of the news and it was obvious when he spit his water on Renee.

"What crossed your mind to marry April? Don't get me wrong, she's a very sweet and gorgeous girl, but isn't it too soon? The two of you have went out for about a year and been engaged for such a short period of time." Colby said in shock, but he was trying to be supportive for Phil.

"I saw and opportunity to marry the woman that I loved. I mean, Colby, if you had the opportunity to marry Daphne, would you do it? John, wouldn't you do the same with Nikki?" Phil asked both John and Colby to get his point across his friends.

"Nikki and I are never getting married." John informed Phil. Phil was familiar about John and his fear of getting his heart broken. The whole group went silent with the response and Colby knew that he had to take the awkward tension off of John.

"I'm not with Daphne." Colby clarified. Phil knew about Colby's thoughts bout Daphne and he had done his best to keep it a secret. He respected Colby enough to never make a move on his crush. Phil did have a crush on Daphne, but he saw how much Colby was in love with her, so he backed off.

Winter Park, Florida

Daphne Consuelos had the Divas Championship on her shoulder as she walked alongside Phil Brooks, who was the WWE Champion at the time. The two of them were in the heel run as the two of them were asked to go down to Florida for an NXT taping. To Daphne, this was basically where she started her career in the WWE. It was awesome to meet up with some friends that she created during her time in developmental. She thought that the Divas down here could give the main roster Divas a run for their money. The reason that Phil and Daphne were down here was that they were going to confront Seth Rollins, who was the NXT Champion at the time. Punk was going to give him a word of advice for the two toned wrestler and Daphne was happy to be reuniting with an old friend.

"Bitchsuelos, this look familiar to you?" Phil took a step aside as Daphne took his place to take in the whole atmosphere of the NXT arena. What made her happier was that she was doing that with a man that she really liked. There was something about Phil that Daphne loved about it. He had such a outspoken and blunt attitude that she could relate to him. The way that he didn't give a damn about what other people thought about him was so sexy to her that there would be no way that Colby couldn't compete with him.

Daphne bit her lip as she looked back at Phil, who smiled at her, "It looks more different than when I was here. I mean, I couldn't recall being at Full Sail for a long period of time because I was called up around the first few episodes of NXT, but I do remember the times that I spent in FCW really clearly. I was the Queen of FCW and won the title off of Mia Mancini and then..." she paused as she couldn't get herself to bring up the name of the woman that took that crown away from her.

"April took your crown." Phil guessed that Daphne was going to say that next. Daphne and April were pretty good friends, but she always felt like April always took opportunities away from her. It wasn't like Daphne was always kicked to the curb for April and she did went to feud with Taryn Terrell, who was known as Tiffany and she adored the matches that these two were able to pull off, but Daphne always felt like her feuds were always a second priority.

"Don't get me wrong, I love April, but I hope that this Divas Championship reign lasts long enough for me to make an impact," Daphne sighed as she looked at the bedazzled butterfly that rested nicely on her shoulder, "I would rather have someone like Eve Torres take the belt off of me. I mean, she's amazing in the ring. I don't want this title to get near to April. I swear, no one will ever become champion while she has the belt." she chuckled as Phil chuckled. Phil couldn't tell if Daphne liked or despised April, but there was a saying that went around the locker room that said all women secretly hated each other. So, he wondered if that applied to Daphne. Other than that, Daphne looked beautiful in her baby blue ring attire that she wore. She wore a baby blue leather bra with matching shinny pants. Phil had always had a liking with Daphne, but he didn't know what was stopping him from making a move on her.

"Sounds hypocritical because I think that no one will become champion with you around." Phil said in a sarcastic tone, which made her chuckle like she had no problem at all with his response.

"Daphne Consuelos," Daphne beamed a smile when she looked at Colby Lopez, who stood there wearing an NXT shirt and his NXT Championship on his shoulder. Daphne took him into an embrace, which kind of rubbed Phil off the wrong way, "How has the main roster life been treating you? Jon, Joe and I were starting to think that you don't have time for us developmental people."

Daphne smiled as she looked deeply into his eyes, "I always have time for you and NXT. I'm thankful for this place for giving me my start. But," Daphne pointed a finger on his championship, "I think that NXT Championship has inflated your ego," she smirked, "I think you need Punk over here to knock you down a few steps." she turned to Phil and smirked as she looked at him.

"I like to see him try," Colby chuckled as he exchanged a smile at him, "I hope you have been taking care of her. She's a little of a troublemaker." he flinched when she smacked him upside the head, "OW! Daph!" he responded as she chuckled.

"Don't worry, I've been taking care of her quite well." Phil responded as he winked at Daphne, who giggled like a school girl.

Colby didn't take the response well as he wanted to ask Phil a few more questions, but before he could ask the first question, Danielle Moinet and Saraya Jade-Bevis, also know as Summer Rae and Paige approached the Ultimate Diva, "Daphne, why didn't you tell us that you were coming down here?" Danielle questioned her in a hurt way because she declared that Daphne was one of her best friends while in NXT. Although, Danielle wasn't actually hurt, but she was upset that Daphne didn't tell of her settings.

"See? This is what I have to put with. Daphne, why did you leave us down here?" Saraya went to hug her with almost a whine to her voice as Daphne grinned.

"Gotta make the division better," Daphne responded in the best way possible as she looked at Colby and Phil, "I'm going to talk with them for a few minutes before the segment, mind if I can catch up with the two of you later?" Daphne asked as she looked at the two wrestlers.

"Sure," Colby and Phil said at the same time, which made the Canadian raise a brow, "We'll see you around." Colby and Phil looked at each other in total confusion. Daphne nodded her heads strangely as she walked with Saraya and Danielle.

After the three women were gone, Colby looked at Phil with almost a glare, "I just want to inform you that I saw Daphne first and I don't think that you flirting with her is going to go well with me. I want her to be with someone that really cares about her and not someone that will end up breaking her heart. So, if I were you, I'd stop the acting and be her friend because I know Daphne a lot to know that she wants something that lasts forever and not a minute." Colby walked away as Phil took his message loud and clear.

Two Weeks Until Money in the Bank

Cleveland, Ohio

Nikki connected with a sidewalk slam as she went for a cover on Alicia Fox. Alicia kicked out on two so, Nikki grabbed Alicia and wiped her to the corner. Nikki ran, but Alicia moved out of the way and elbowed Nikki. Alicia went to the top rope and connected with a crossbody and went for the cover, but picked up Alicia with her muscular abilities and placed her on her shoulders to connect with the Rack Attack, but all of a sudden, Daphne stands on top of the announcer's desk, which was the exact same move that her boyfriend had done with Dean Ambrose, but the difference was that she was providing a distraction for Alicia.

"Hey, Nikki!" Daphne yelled, "Is this a good time to talk because I really need to talk to you about a certain thing." she grabbed Nikki's attention as she released Alicia, who went to recover for a little bit to look at Daphne. There was not telling what Daphne Anne was so capable of, but it was never good intentions from her. Nikki was pissed and it was obvious from the look on her face.

"What the hell are you talking about, Daphne? Can't you see that I am wrestling right now. Go away!" Nikki yelled at one-half of the corporate couple that Triple H liked to call them. All of a sudden, Alicia rolled Nikki up, using the ropes for leverage to win the match.

"The winner of this match, Alicia Fox!" Tony Chimel exclaimed as Alicia Fox began to go crazy outside the ring. Nikki glared at Daphne, who in response, shrugged her shoulders, not knowing that her actions would result in Nikki losing the match, but obviously, Daphne knew what she was doing all along. Daphne won this round, but Nikki would win the next.

Two Weeks Until Money in the Bank

Columbus, Ohio

"What are you going to do about it, Emma?" Daphne taunted Emma as she stepped on the face of the Australian Diva as the referee began to count. Daphne released before the count to five. The WWE Universe booed Daphne and cheered for the self-proclaimed Dancing Queen. So, Daphne grabbed Emma and slammed her to the mat before going for a cover. Emma kicked out quickly as Daphne took her to the ropes to do one of her signatures. She placed Emma between the ropes and stretched her mouth open as Emma wanted out of the hold. Daphne released before the count to five as she went to argue with the referee. As soon as she was done talking to the referee, Emma pushed Daphne to the ropes near the corner and connected with the Dil-Emma as Daphne began to scream. The referee pulled Emma away from Daphne, who slide under the ropes, realizing that this fight was not worth it anymore. She would rather let Emma win by count out then suffer in the ring.

As soon as Daphne made it to the ramp, Nikki ran to Daphne and threw her inside the ring and back to the match as Emma grabbed Daphne and connected with an airplane spin, almost making Daphne throw up. Then, Emma placed Daphne on the floor and connected with the Emma Lock as Daphne struggled to get out of the hold, so Daphne had no other choice, but to tap out.

"The winner of this match, Emma!" Lillian Garcia beamed as the referee raised Emma's hand as she did her dance. Nikki clapped for Emma's win, but most importantly, she clapped at the fact that someone got the upper hand on Daphne Anne.

HAHAHA Nikki got the upper hand on Daphne! So in this chapter, I really wanted you guys to see how Daphne and Phil's relationship was like back then and how April always had an upper hand on Daphne. Also, I wanted to build up for Nikki and Daphne's feud. In a future chapter, we'll flashback to Daphne and April's conversation and it's going to be something interesting! Most importantly, don't give up on Colby and Daphne!
