Chapter 18 I Have Learned My Lesson
~~~Meanwhile at Usagi's divine realm~~~
"Go to hell!"
John and his friend, the big man, were sent down to hell after she judged them.
She lets out a sigh, as she turns around and summoned the map of her world.
"Search Syaro's parents!" Said Usagi to the map.
The map searched for Syaro's parents. It detects and shows her where they are.
"(It seems like things are going where it should be. Since her parents are alive.)" Usagi thought as she saw Syaro's parents alive in her map.
"(Although…)"
"Search, Chiru's parents!" Said Usagi to the map.
It detects and shows their deceased body.
"(...His family is dead.)" Usagi thought, seeing their dead bodies.
"(But, where are their souls…?!)"
Suddenly Usagi turned around feeling a strong glare behind her.
It was her big brother Shiro, accompanied by Chiru's parents.
"O-Onii-sama, you're back." Said Usagi feeling slightly anxious to see her big brother glaring at her and surprised why he's here.
"..."
Her big brother is still glaring at her while he walks to her.
"(W-Why Is Onii-sama so angry?! Why is he here anyway?! Did he die?!)" Usagi thought as she tries to find out why her big brother is here and glaring at her.
She turns around and looked at the map.
"Search Shiro Takashi-"
"I'm already dead!" Shiro yelled at her little sister, interrupting her in the process.
"?!...Y-You are?" Said Usagi as she slowly turns around and looked at him once again.
"?!"
He was in front of her.
"Now, Usagi. Be honest. Are you the mastermind of the train incident?!" Shiro shouts to her little sister.
"I...I…"
Even though she wants to lie, she still told him the truth because she doesn't want to add more fuel to the fire.
"I was…" Said Usagi as she looked down.
Shiro clenched his fist and lift it up as he was about to slap her face.
But he managed to stop.
"...Fuck."
He turns around and went to talk to Hina and Robert's souls.
"Onii-sama-"
"Don't you fucking say a word right now." Said Shiro angerly.
Usagi was shocked to hear him say that but still, she listened.
Shiro stood in front of them and did a hard Dogeza. By banging his head to the floor very hard and apologizes.
"Hina-san, Robert-san. I humbly apologize from what my little sister did and I did in that train!" Shiro shouts to them while performing a Dogeza.
"Say, are you two, Gods and Goddesses?" Said Robert questioning Shiro.
"I used to be a God but I'm now just a human soul. Although my little sister over there is a goddess. She's the one who is in charge of your world."
Then Hina claps her hand.
"Ahh, I see." Said Hina cheerfully.
"This must be the goddess' will." Said Hina trying to be positive and trying to make sense of the situation.
"Eh?"
Shiro was confused about why Hina said such things.
"(She supposed to despite me or at least show anger to me because I killed her in front of her son.)" Shiro thought still confused.
"Hon, is it great that our son is being watched by our goddess and a god?" Said Hina happily.
"Hina…"
Robert knows that she's enduring the pain she's having right now.
So he hugs her.
"Hon?" Said Hina, surprised that her husband hugs her.
"It's alright, you don't have to endure it anymore." Said, Robert as he pats her from the back.
"Ehe...you're…*Sob*...such…*Sob*...*Sob*...Robert...our son…*Sob*...Waaah!"
Hina finally gives in the emotion she has been holding inside and cries on her husband's shoulder.
"There...there…*Sob*..." Said Robert, also crying that he won't be able to be with his son anymore.
Even though he promised his son that he would spend more time with him.
"..."
This just made Shiro regret his decision. Not that he killed Hina, it's because he reincarnated souls from his world to this world that this has happened.
All of it was his fault, to begin with.
He has truly learned his lesson from this. Never again will he break the rule...ever.
He stood up and bowed once again to show that he's really sorry from what has happened, as he goes back to Usagi.
"Usagi, we need to talk." Said Shiro feeling frustrated.
"Yes, Onii-sama..." Said Usagi, as she feels sad that her brother is angry at her.
Both of them left the two alone for a while.
The two walked 5 feet apart from each other.
Not one of them has said anything to each other as they continue to walk.
Until Usagi stops.
"Onii-sama, how could it be my fault!" Said Usagi, confused about why her big brother is angry at her. "Didn't I just help you accomplish your mission?!"
"Shut up." Said Shiro as he looks at her very coldly.
"?!"
He stops walking and lets out a sigh.
He decided not to get angry at her anymore since It's all his fault, to begin with.
"It's not your fault, I also don't blame you either from what has happened but I want to ask, why did you even help me?" Said Shiro calmly questioning her.
"Umm…"
Usagi was surprised to know that he's not blaming her but for some reason, she couldn't answer his question.
"It's because you don't trust me accomplishing the mission on my own." Said Shiro as he answers his question.
Usagi is shocked to know the truth without her telling him.
"H-How?" Said Usagi very surprised.
He smiled.
"I know you better than anyone in our family, Usagi." Said, Shiro.
"You sometimes act selfishly. To make things interesting for oneself satisfaction." Said, Shiro.
"Of course your intention is good but it caused a problem for your world. Not only that to the humans that died from your selfish actions." Said, Shiro.
He walks close to her.
"Gods/Goddess aren't supposed to do this. Causing a random event to happen to make things interesting. You saw how sad it is for Chiru's parents? Knowing that they won't be able to meet their son anymore." Said Shiro to Usagi.
"But this happened because you brought them to my world- ?!" Said Usagi as she covers her mouth when realizing that she's going too far.
"Yes...it was my fault." Said Shiro looking very sad and admitting he's to blame.
"Onii-sama…" Said Usagi, realizing she wasn't supposed to say that.
"Sorry…" Said Usagi as she apologizes.
"It's okay." Said Shiro putting a cheerful face.
"Hopefully, the two of us learned from our mistakes." Said, Shiro.
"A-Are you not angry anymore, Onii-sama?" Said Usagi nervously.
"On myself, but not you anymore." Said Shiro answering her question.
"But promise me, the two of us will learn from our mistakes and never do such things ever again." Said Shiro as he points his pinky at her.
"Yes, I promise Onii-sama." Said Usagi, feeling better and looking determined to change her ways.
The two did a pinky promise.
Once that was over, Shiro holds one of her hands.
"Could you teleport us, to the two. I have to bring them to the kingdom of heaven." Said, Shiro.
"Sure, Onii-sama."
With a snap of a finger, they were teleported back to where they were in the beginning.
It even surprised the two.
Shiro steps forward and a door appears behind them as it opens.
"Before I send you two to the kingdom of heaven, are you guys fine now?" Said Shiro to Hina and Robert.
Knowing that it's time, Robert asks him a favor.
"Kinda, but can we ask you a favor." Said, Robert.
"Go ahead." Said Shiro willing to listen.
"Will you keep our son safe from any trouble?" Said, Robert.
"Yes, please keep him safe and watch him over for us and tell him that we love him so, SOO MUCH!." Said, Hina about to cry once again.
"You heard that Usagi?" Said Shiro as he turns around and looks at her little sister.
She salutes.
"Sir yes, sir!" Said Usagi as she agrees.
"I'm being serious here." Said Shiro not buying her salutes.
She sticks her tongue out playfully.
"Ehehe, sorry but yes. I promise, I will." Said Usagi being serious.
Shiro smiles.
"Good, now you two, let us go." Said Shiro as he starts walking to the door.
Hina and Robert wave at Usagi goodbye and followed Shiro behind and the door closed, disappearing afterward.
"...I promise. I'll keep him safe." Said Usagi as she looks determined to keep that promise.
Usagi and Shiro have learned from their mistakes and made a promise that Usagi will never break.
"I wonder how's Jeanne is doing." Said Usagi as she wonders about her familiar spirit.
