This is it! The final chapter to Book 1 of Another Road starts now. This final chapter will be written from Gosen's point of view.

Final Chapter (20): The Rain and Everything Else (Past Revealed II)

18 and I walked out of my house after checking up on my mom. She seemed to be doing better, but I couldn't stay. I had to check back with Dad and Trunks, no matter what. I looked up to the sky. The clouds were beginning to turn gray and they were gathering. I lost all train of thought for a second. Images of storms and death filled my head. In my absence of mind, I could feel the wind picking up, as my hair tickled my cheeks, flowing in front of me. From the corner of my eye, I could see 18 poking her head out, looking at me in confusion, but I couldn't bring myself back to reality. All of a sudden, she slapped my cheek lightly. "Come on. You wanted to go back to your dad, right? Well, then let's go."

"You're right, sorry." We both levitated slowly into the air, still trying to prevent being picked up by Cell. We flew slowly, but I was lost in thought again. This time, images of my house being broken down in flames filled my mind and holding my dead mother as well. I felt a single tear well up in my right eye. All of a sudden I could feel myself coming back to reality once again for one reason and one reason only. I felt someone's power level dropping to a dangerous level. I could feel my eyes open widely.

"18!" I called out to her loudly. She appeared startled by my voice.

"Wh-What is it?"

"Change of plans. We're going after Cell!"

"What's with you all of a sudden?"

"Krillin's power level just dropped dangerously...and I could feel another strong one there with him!"

"What!?" I saw 18 look beside her, as if cursing 17 out in her mind.

"LET'S GO!" I powered up and went at an incredibly fast pace. The wind felt like it was stinging my face and my hair felt like it was about to tear off my head. That's how fast I was going. As we flew, once again, I relived moments of my past that I wanted to discard. They all began to flood into my mind again...memories I thought I tossed away.

I woke up and looked at my dead brother, Gohan. I looked next to me and Trunks watched me from above, relieved that I had begun to wake up. When I saw Gohan, I wanted to think it was just a nightmare. I punched myself repeatedly, trying to force myself awake from this nightmare. "What are you doing, Gosen? Stop!" Trunks pleaded me to stop, but I didn't. The tears began to well up and I held my brother's head close to my heart. I cried silently and trembled as if I just got out of sub zero temperatures. I tried to control my body but it didn't work. Trunks remained silent and just watched me cry.

I closed my eyes and brought my head close to his, gripping his body. I could feel my power beginning to increase exponentially, but I had no control over it. I had no control of it, but I was aware of what was happening. As twins, Gohan and I shared a lot of things, even the same hidden potential. "My brother..." I mumbled under my breath.

"G-Gosen! Don't worry about it so much! We can bring him back with the dragonballs." Trunks tried reassuring me. I knew that. I knew that we could bring him back, but that doesn't make losing him any more bearable. It's my goddamn brother! I could feel my aura beginning to pick up and the small rocks around me beginning to rise.

"Stop! We're going to be found out by that monster if you keep this up!" He was right...but I couldn't control it...

The intensity of Cell's power brought me back to reality. We were just a few miles away now, but everything stopped. I could feel Cell stopped moving and Krillin's power was near zero, but that was it. I don't know why, but Cell just kept him barely alive, at least that's what it felt like. They were finally within my sights. That monster was the only one I ended up looking at, then I saw him look up at me. I immediately slowed my pace down. I landed a few meters away from him, and 18 landed behind me.

17 was unconscious, damaged to no end. "17!" 18 yelled from behind me. She ignored Cell and ran up to 17, but I saw Cell smile. It was on instinct, but I had to move.

"18!" Cell swiftly backhanded 18 with his fist and she went flying, tumbling over the ground. I was too late to shield her, but I managed to catch her as she went head first toward a pillar of rock that broke down when my back hit it, shielding her from the rocks that fell on top of us. I used a swift build up of energy to blow the rocks off of us. My red vest was tattered up a bit, along with the rest of my clothes. My hair covered my right eye and I looked at 18, who coughed up a bit of blood, but was alright.

I hadn't heard his voice in years, but he spoke out. Not really towards me, but more of a general topic toward the general audience. "I saw Android 17 and wondered where the other sibling of this timeline was. I have to say, I'm a bit surprised. In the other timeline, that attack would have killed her.

"You BASTARD! What did you do to 17?!" 18 yelled out in my arms. I gripped her arms tight to prevent her from charging in recklessly. This wasn't like her at all.

"Calm down 18! This isn't like you! You're far more composed than this!" She reacted as if she realized what she was doing and came back to reality. But somehow, she looked upset with what I said.

"Gosen. It's been a while." Cell said from a far. The rain that had been eager to fall did just that. He walked up to us, and all I could do was bring myself in front of 18, as if that was going to do any good. With each step he took, the rain fell faster until it seemed like a tropical storm. My body was shaking so obviously that it was rather embarrassing, and I felt like I could piss my pants at any moment. I couldn't speak, and I wanted to leave so badly. Before I knew it, he was right in my face, towering over me. I was getting angry to the point where I didn't care about what would happen after I punched him. I just powered up my right hand til it started glowing and through the right hook but he caught it.

He quickly put my arm behind my back and I could feel the stabbing pain in my shoulder. Cell was bending my arm in a way that shouldn't be bent. "Now, I want you to tell me what part of this did you think was a good idea to you? First of all, you haven't even transformed, so seriously, what about this was the ideal way to come at me?"

"Let him go!" 18 screamed out, but Cell caught her by the neck, slightly cutting off her oxygen.

"18!" I painfully yelled. Cell turned me around and began to choke me as well, holding us both up in the air. We both used the hand that was closest to his chest, and began firing blasts relentlessly, causing smoke to lift up, but he didn't even budge. He freed us, but as we fell, he punched both of us away, and the next thing I knew we were both flying toward another giant boulder. I could feel myself drifting into a deep sleep, unresponsive to all the cobbles or rock on top of me. The memories of the past just continued to flood in, and at this point, it felt like I was having a nightmare with my own memories.

The last thing I remembered before losing myself in my own power was screaming out. I was dizzy and felt like I just woke up. My eyes were blurry, but all I saw was red, and it felt extremely hot. I tried to get up, but I couldn't get my hands on flat ground for a while. All I felt was constant rock pricking my hand, as if I were laying down in a pile of rubble.

At this point, I couldn't tell if it was my memory I was hearing, or the actual Cell. But they both said this same line in unison. "What happened to all that power you displayed before?"

I felt my hand touch something wet, but warm. It was a dark red color and it looked like blood. I scanned my area, still with a very blurred vision, but I couldn't see much with what looked like smoke not helping the situation.

Subconsciously I felt my lips move. I seemed to be talking in my sleep. I clenched the nearest rock I hand, and held it as tight as I could. "Mom..." That word just repeated in my mind, and sometimes it would come out of my mouth. "Mom...!"

I could feel my vision coming back to me, in what seemed to be a fire, I was on the lookout, for reasons I never knew. I saw a green figure in front of me, which I knew right away to be Cell. I reacted to the situation and immediately began to push my way backward, away from him. But he was choking someone out, though the person didn't seem to respond at all.

The word kept coming. "Mom..."

I focused my vision, still slightly covering my eyes. Cell held my mom by her throat, but I knew she was already dead.

I started to say different things. "I'll kill you..."

I could feel my self tremble...

"I'll kill you..."

My sight began to get blurry again. But this time, my eyes were immediately filled with tears...

"When I get my hands on you..."

My power was rising...

"I'll fucking kill you..."

Everything was taken from me in what felt like an instant...

"I'll kill you..."

I'll kill him...

"I'll kill you...!"

I'll kill him!

"Kill!"

Kill!

"KILL!"

I screamed out and I could feel the threatening Saiyan instinct take over. The voices that constantly told me to kill sounded more and more demonic to the point where I could even make out the word the voice spoke to me anymore. My head was ringing with the loud voices that demanded me to kill. I held my head as if I had a huge headache. At this point it hurt so bad that I couldn't care less about death. I just needed to feel alive...I just wanted to see the despair in his eyes...All I wanted to do was kill...kill...

"KILL ANYTHING THAT MOVES!" I screamed out so loudly I thought the other galaxies could hear my wrath. But at this point, I blacked out. The overwhelming power took over. I transformed, but that wasn't the only thing. My skin burned...my muscles ached...I felt stiff. Just from a powerful shout, I destroyed the rocks that covered me and 18. My body was no longer mine to control. I saw myself from inside my mind.

I looked like a wild animal. The tail that I thought would be gone forever grew back. My red vest no longer on me and my black shirt ripped up like it's been through a shredder. My Saiyan aura felt violent and my golden hair was so out of place. The rain that hit the aura around me immediately evaporated, and my surrounding area began to steam up.

I teleported behind Cell and put a tremendous amount of force behind the kick I made contact with toward his neck. He went spiraling out of control toward a wall. I had my teeth gritting so much that I could have started foaming at any time. Cell walked from the rubble, laughing. I wanted him to start crying. I wanted him to beg me to keep him alive. I wanted him to suffer. Cell spoke to me in what seemed like a foreign language all of a sudden, but that was never the case. I was just too out of it to understand him.

"This is the power that I wanted to see for a long time..." Cell immediately dashed towards me with a punch. I powered up my punch instantly and fired right back. Both of our punches collided causing an explosion that took up most of the desert area, engulfing everyone in it's way. At this point though, I just wanted Cell dead.
