Last time on Total Drama...
Our four teams had a classic summer camp challenge, in which they had to build their very own boats! They then had to paddle out into the ocean and retrieve three medals for their teams, race up the island's cliff and place them on a plaque! Bridgette managed to do all the grunt work for the Rats, securing them a first place! The Bass followed with a close second, and Zoey - on her own, helped the Maggots place third. The Gophers completely abandoned the challenge, in hope of losing and getting Eva eliminated. In a shocking twist, the winning teams got to choose who they wanted to send home - from their own teams! Both Lightning and Courtney bit the bullet and were sent home. But wait, there's more! Because of her outbursts, Eva was excluded from the challenge and sent for psychological evaluation. After being injured by Eva; Duncan and Trent called it quits on their bromance. Alejandro and Tyler cemented their deep desire for each other, and both Harold and Dawn exposed Alejandro as a liar! Lindsay burst into tears after being accused of sleeping with everyone. Izzy made an unexpected, yet expected return to the show, and all four teams had their players shifted around! What will come next in our upcoming bio-hazardous challenge? More miseries, mishaps, misfortune, misunderstandings are all to come! Witness it now on...
TOTAL. DRAMA. FINALE.
The amphitheatre begins to clear out, except for the Rats who sit in a disturbing silence. No one is able to react, or even get up following the Elimination Ceremony. Afterall, it had just been revealed to their entire team that Alejandro has a plan to purposely lose and eliminate all of them. Not only that, but Harold had confessed Alejandro told Tyler that Lindsay was sleeping around with all the male members of the competition! Everyone wants to speak, but no one knows what to say.
"I think you guys made a really bad choice!" Izzy laughs.
"Really, Izzy?!" Bridgette shouts. "This is just great! We have a psychopath on our team who's planning to destroy us all, and is also slut shaming Lindsay! This is awful!"
"It was Chris' fault! He's the one who chose!" Beth says.
"Yeah, but we really made him choose." Harold says.
"We should have agreed on sending home Alejandro. I'm sorry guys." LeShawna apologizes, hanging her head in shame.
"I'm sorry too!" Beth whines, tears welling up in her eyes.
"I'm not! Courtney was causing major problems for us." Justin states, ruining the tender moment between his team. The rest of the Rats look at him, scowls on their faces. "What?"
"You spent the whole challenge searching for the Immunity Idol." Dawn says. "It was more important for you to be safe, than to help your team."
"Oh, so we got two crazies on the team!" Izzy interjects.
"I think you mean three!" Harold says.
"Well, what do we do now?" LeShawna asks.
"I've thought about it before, and I hate to ask this of you all - but we have to throw the next challenge. It's the only way we can get Alejandro off the show as soon as possible." Bridgette says, her team gasping in shock!
"Is that really the best thing to do?" Justin asks, annoyed with Bridgette's idea.
"Look, he has messed with people's lives! This isn't innocent scheming, or just being difficult and mean like Heather! He's crazy! He seduced Tyler to make him his puppet, tore him away from Lindsay by lying about her to him, and he plans to destroy our entire team! We need to recognize this is a problem!" Bridgette cries, on the verge of tears.
LeShawna and Beth get up, giving Bridgette a tight hug. Dawn and Izzy both get up too, joining in on the group hug. Justin sits back, rolling his eyes in annoyance. Harold starts to get up, but stops. His mind races with thoughts. He has to talk to Blaineley! What if he goes against Blaineley's plan and gets kicked off the alliance? What if Blaineley finds a way for him to get eliminated?!
Harold:
"I wanted to be supportive but...Blaineley! She wanted Bridgette gone though. And she also wants to take out the Maggots. Does she still want to now that the teams are switched? What if I ended up getting the boot? There's too much to think about! I don't know if my wicked skills can save me now."
Justin:
"I was planning on exposing Alejandro eventually, but it seems I didn't need to! Oh well, I'm not on board with this all-for-one idea. I'm here to take care of myself, and it starts by finding that Immunity Idol! They can get mad all they want, they're only worsening their premature wrinkles. Once I get that Idol, no one can touch me."
Bridgette:
"Chris is such a jerk! Alejandro has been running his puppet show since day one, and how has no one realized or done anything about it! I thought Heather was crazy, but she's just mean! And Eva? Yeah, she has issues. Issues that make me want to stay far away from her! But Alejandro is worse than this. It's like, he doesn't even have a conscious and has no issues running other people's lives! How can you even do something like that!"
Alejandro marches through the woods, filled with determination to get as far away from his team as possible; and not answer anyone's questions. With this kind of exposure, Alejandro knows he's in deep trouble. But the thing about Alejandro is, he can mask his feelings very well. That is, unless someone he truly cares about is able to get through to him. Tyler comes running up behind Alejandro; filled with confusion and bewilderment.
"Alejandro! Alejandro!" Tyler calls out. Alejandro turns around and continues marching. "Bro! You gonna' talk to me?" Tyler asks pleadingly.
"About what?" Alejandro mutters back.
"Seriously, dude? All that whack stuff that just happened. Is what you said about Lindsay a lie? And do you really want to wreck our team?" Tyler asks, struggling to keep up with Alejandro. "If you care about me at all, you'll tell me."
Alejandro stops in his tracks. He sighs, clenching his fists. He turns around to face Tyler, and slowly steps towards him. He gently clasps Tyler's hands, staring longingly in his eyes. He sees the pain Tyler feels...but can Alejandro keep up this lie if it means hurting someone he truly cares about? Well, he can - if it means saving himself.
"Tyler." Alejandro begins, his warm voice calming Tyler's nerves. "It is true. I was going to try and destroy our own team. And I was going to...because they didn't want us to be together. You can't imagine how many hurtful things they've said to me. I've kept them from you, cause I didn't want to hurt you. But I realize by lying about my intentions, I've hurt you, and I don't want that." he says, gripping Tyler's hands tighter. "I do care about you Tyler, I do." Alejandro tells Tyler, his voice filled with certainty. "And yes, I do want to bring you to the finale with me. That is true. And maybe at first it wasn't for the best intentions, but you've changed me. You change the way I see things; myself, and the competition."
"You, you mean that?" Tyler asks. his voice breaking.
"I do." Alejandro says, kissing Tyler gently on the cheek. The two embrace, sharing a passionate kiss. Tyler stops, and softly pushes away from Alejandro.
"What about Lindsay, was that a lie?" Tyler asks.
Alejandro stares into Tyler's eyes, unsure of how to answer. Sure, he has the choice to be honest. But if he did, it would ruin this deep connection he's forged. And if he didn't, it could just push Tyler further away from him. And with an uncertain future on his team after tonight, Alejandro only knows to protect what he cares about most - himself.
"No." Alejandro answers. "Lindsay has been sleeping around. She did it with Sam before the season began, and she has with Geoff. Remember when he called her hot during the racing challenge? Well a lot more happened that night between them. Lindsay is no saint. And she'll do what she can to make you feel bad for her, but you cannot give in." Alejandro says, his voice shaking from his own lie. He and Tyler stare at each other for a moment, processing each other's words. "Do you trust me?"
"Yes." Tyler mumbles, clutching onto Alejandro. Tears stream down Tyler's face as Alejandro holds him tightly. Whatever plan Alejandro may have...there's no turning back now.
Tyler:
"All this time...Lindsay was a liar. It's like the only person I can trust is Alejandro. Out of everyone here, I can only trust one dude! He has to be right. Everyone is so mad about me leaving Lindsay for Alejandro, that they'll just make stuff up. But she's the one who can't be trusted! She's the bad person!"
Alejandro:
"I had to do what I had to do. I care so deeply for that boy, but I can't sacrifice my place in the competition. It's ten million dollars. After all, Tyler is no longer on our team and neither is Lindsay. While my team may still hate me, two of the people wrapped up in my problems are gone. So that should soften things up for a bit. To be perfectly honest, I'm not worried. I know how to play this game, and I've been doing it since the start of the season.
"Man, this sucks." Duncan groans, rolling out of bed. He squints, the morning sunlight piercing through the cabin door.
"What does?" Trent asks, slipping on his shoes.
"We're now on the crappiest team here! We're probably going to lose the next four challenges and all of will get sent home!" Duncan moans. "Thanks for that, by the way."
"What?! What are you pissed at me for?" Trent asks defensively.
"You dragged me on this team! We have two other people here; Ezekiel and Staci. And to be as offensive as possible, they're both retards!" Duncan shouts. "I mean, you couldn't have forced DJ or literally anyone else to switch with you? What the hell were you thinking?"
"I don't know..." Trent mutters, knowingly exactly why he made Duncan switch with him. "I guess part of me thought we could smooth things over, you know? Things haven't been great so I thought - "
"Oh, okay!" Duncan interrupts with a sarcastic laugh. "You thought you'd pull us away from all the gay-bashers and somehow we'd be able to make this work? Dude, I told you I'm done with it. I can't do it! Not only does it feel wrong..." Duncan stops, his words trailing off.
"You still love Gwen." Trent states. He looks at Duncan; who gives him a silent nod in response. "I'm sorry. I should have known and never should have been pushing you to be in a place you didn't want to be in. I hardly know what I'm doing either. I guess, I was just desperate to have a connection with someone."
"I get it." Duncan sighs. "I'm heading to breakfast." he says, heading for the door.
"Duncan, wait!" Trent shouts; stopping Duncan. "I'm sorry, I really mean it."
"Yeah?" Duncan says, turning to face Trent. "If you are, you have to prove it. I know Ezekiel and Blaineley got some secret thing going on, he's working with her or whatever. If we lose, I have no doubt he's gonna' pull some crap to rig the votes. If it comes down to a tiebreaker between us...you'll let me win."
"What?!" Trent cries. "You've made it to the final five each season! I got voted off unfairly each time I was on."
"Unfairly my ass!" Duncan chuckles. "You kissed Heather, getting yourself eliminated. Then you decided to be weird and have a fetish for the number nine and get yourself kicked off! Unfair? No! Annoying? Yes." Duncan says as he starts to leave.
"How is that going to prove I'm sorry?" Trent asks. Duncan looks back at Trent and shrugs, closing the cabin door behind him.
Trent:
"Is Duncan serious right now? What kind of apology is that? Getting myself kicked off the show?! I'm doing better than I have been in the past, and now I have to risk ten million dollars to show I'm sorry? You know, I feel like if Duncan really cared about me in any way, he wouldn't put me in this position. Clearly he doesn't, and he never did!"
Duncan:
"Yeah, it's pretty messed up what I'm putting Trent though. I don't care. The sooner he's gone, the sooner I can move on. I don't need all this lovey-dovey drama going on right now. This entire season so far has just been one stupid issue after another with him! Why can't he respect I'm not comfortable being with a dude? And why can't he respect that I still...totally...absolutely...love Gwen. Aw man, this bites."
The newly formed Bass sit at their table in the mess hall. Sam sits in an awkward silence, looking around at his team. He realizes quickly that he and DJ are the only guys on the team! Sam has no issue being on a team of mostly girls, but without having a guy he can truly relate to, it would surely make things uncomfortable. And DJ is not someone Sam feels he can relate to, at all.
"So this is just...a team of girls..." Sam whispers to Zoey.
"DJ is on our team, it isn't that bad!" Zoey says, trying to cheer Sam up. "We would have been in serious trouble if we stayed on that small team."
"I know, but without another dude I can relate to, who can I even talk to video games about?" Sam complains. "DJ is cool and stuff, but he's just not anything like me. Even with him, it still feels like I'm the only guy on the team. Which sounds lame, but it's how I feel!"
"Well, you can always talk to me!" Zoey smiles. "It won't be that bad, Sam. We just have to look for the positives. I'm feeling a whole lot better with this team switch."
"Are you still all sad about Mike?" Sam cautiously asks, hoping to not stir up any unwanted feelings out of Zoey.
"Well, yeah." Zoey mumbles. "But, I feel a lot better about joining with the Bass! It makes me feels like there's hope again, and that I can really win this for Mike and I! Or...at least get pretty far!"
Zoey gives Sam a warm hug, and the two fill each other with a loving reassurance. Blaineley and Anne Maria sit at the end of the table, neither of them intending to speak a word to each other. Blaineley watches as Katie and Sadie come to the table - and a devious grin spreads across Blaineley's face. With Sadie already in the Bass' girl's alliance, Blaineley can easily convince Katie to join. With enough convincing, maybe she could convince her alliance to eliminate Zoey.
"Hey guys!" Sadie greets Blaineley and Anne Maria as her and Katie take a seat.
"This is so cool, we're like a team of all girls!" Katie cheers. "Well, except for Sam and DJ. But yay! Girl's team!"
"What if...the Bass really was an all girls team?" Blaineley proposes.
"What're you yappin' about, blondie?" Anne Maria asks, slathering fake tanner all over her arms.
"Well, we have our girls-only alliance, and now that Katie is on the team, I think it's only fair we let her be in it." Blaineley says.
"Oh yeah! I totally forgot to mention that to you." Sadie says to Katie. "I think we're like, still working out the kinks and stuff, and things have been kind of rough and Blaineley is pretty boss and - "
"Anyway!" Blaineley interrupts. "Sadie is right, we are still figuring out what our end game is, but with our combined forces, there's no doubt we'll make it past the first merge. It has to be coming up soon anyway!"
"That's sounds totally awesome!" Katie cheers. "What about Zoey?"
"What about her?" Blaineley asks, clenching her teeth in anger.
"Shouldn't we ask her to join?" Sadie asks. "She is a girl!"
"Of course! Of course!" Blaineley nods, disgusted with the idea of Zoey joining their alliance. Zoey was one of the members from the Maggots' team Blaineley had intended on eliminating, as well as Sam. Joining forces with the very girl she wanted to get eliminated is not in the plan. "I'll...find a time to ask her today." Blaineley lies.
"So, what's our first move?" Anne Maria asks. "We been in the alliance for who knows how long, and we ain't done a damn thing! Do we got this just so we can save each others asses, or are we gonna' shake things up?"
"Well, since Anne Maria asked, and not because I think we should do this or anything - DJ and Sam have to go." Blaineley whispers to the girls around her. "We want this to be an all girls team, they they've got to go!"
"But DJ is so sweet!" Katie says, pointing over to DJ, who has just sat down with Zoey and Sam. DJ catches Katie's gaze, and gives her a friendly wave.
"But he's a big marshmallow! He's a softie, and you can't be a softie in this game." Anne Maria states. "I'm down for getting him and Sam out."
"Alright Sadie and Katie, Anne Maria has agreed with me." Blaineley says. "You two can agree with me, but if you don't, I can't protect you if we lose. I'll be forced to make a difficult...decision." She threatens.
Sadie and Katie look at each other; a wave of fear crashing down over them. Blaineley holds out her hand to agree on her pact. Anne Maria puts her hand in. Reluctantly, Sadie puts her hand in, as does Katie. They throw their hands in the air and cheer in excitement. This catches the attention of Zoey, Sam and DJ. The three of them look over at the four girls, clearly realizing that they're being excluded from something.
Zoey:
"Something is up with the other four girls on our team. It's like they just made a pact or something! I don't really know if I should be worried or not. I know Anne Maria can be really bossy sometimes, but she's not evil or anything! Katie and Sadie are the sweetest girls, but...Blaineley. I don't really think I trust her! I know she has some kind of alliance with Ezekiel. But does she have one on our team? Are Sam, DJ and I all in trouble?!"
Blaineley:
"It's about time to get the girls alliance underway. My plan to eliminate the Maggots has officially been sidetracked with these stupid team switches! I couldn't care less about Trent and Duncan, but I still want Staci and Ezekiel gone. And with my girls alliance, Zoey and Sam are both toast! I had to pretend I want only Sam and DJ gone, or else it wouldn't be a 'true' girls alliance. I feel like I'm juggling so many things at once. Destroy the Maggots, get Zoey and Bridgette off the show, as well as Eva and Harold! Once the number of contestants starts thinning out, I'll be able to herd all these brainless goats anyway I want!"
DJ:
"Man, I don't know about Blaineley. I felt pretty bad about myself during the challenge the other day when I wasn't able to help out. But now it looks like she's plotting something against me! Katie was pointing at me and stuff, so I don't know what that's about! But I gotta' stay strong, for MaMa!"
"I wonder what they are so excited about." LeShawna remarks, motioning over to the Bass table.
"Maybe it's a plot." Beth suggests. "You know...not like a plot like a book or movie plot, but like a plot that's a plan that's bad!" She confusingly explains.
"An alliance?" Harold clarifies, getting a nod from Beth in response.
Harold gulps with fear. He has no idea what Blaineley has planned, and his fear of not following alliance orders is slowly beginning to eat away at him. Dawn focuses her gaze on Harold, studying her aura. This catches the attention of Bridgette, who knows something is up. Dawn looks over to Bridgette, and with an unspoken understanding - the two girls know they have to discuss it later.
"You know LeShawna and Beth, I never got to properly welcome you to the team." Bridgette says, giving the two girls a warm hug. "So, welcome! I feel like you two are great additions to the team."
"I'm sure we were better than Lindsay and Tyler! I know your team was dealing with a whole bunch of mess with them, as well as Alejandro." LeShawna says. "You ain't gotta' worry about any of that from Beth and I. We are drama free!"
"Speaking of, where is Alejandro?" Justin asks, noticing his absence from their team's table.
"Who knows! But after last night, I hope he never shows his face here again!" Beth says.
No sooner than she speaks, the mess hall doors open and Alejandro comes walking in. The room falls fatally silent; so quiet you can hear a pin drop. Alejandro walks forward, carrying a blank expression. Moments later, Tyler enters the mess hall - having issues concealing his own feelings. Alejandro approaches him and whispers in his ear. He gives Tyler a sensual pat on the back and head to his team's table.
"So, what's new?" Alejandro asks his teammates, his voice carrying a falsified tone of optimism.
"We're planning to vote you off." Beth blurts out.
"Beth!" LeShawna shouts, placing a hand over her mouth. "She loves to joke around!" LeShawna laughs, receiving a skeptical look from Alejandro. He stands up, towering over LeShawna.
"Duly noted." Alejandro says, leaving the team's table. LeShawna glares at Beth; who nervously chuckles at her own mistake.
"Tyler! Get over here!" Eva screams from across the mess hall. Tyler whips around, and points to himself. "Yes, you!" She shouts.
Tyler sighs and walks over to the Gophers' table. Eva stands at the head of the table; Brick and Noah on one side, and Lindsay on the other. Tyler looks over to Alejandro; who gives him a wink of confidence. Tyler sits down, avoiding Lindsay's stare. Lindsay rubs the smeared makeup from her face and does her best to contain her crying.
"Yesterday I took an involuntary vacation from the challenge. But I'm back now, and we have some new ground rules." Eva begins, cracking her knuckles.
"Did the put you on some new meds?" Noah jokingly asks.
"Yes." Eva growls. "What about?" she asks, cracking her neck.
"They seem to be working wonderfully!" Brick says, giving Eva a cheeky smile. Eva huffs, and takes a step back from Noah. She smiles at Brick, touched by his odd compliment.
"For our new members to know - I am the team leader. You listen to what I say, and what I want. Got it?!" Eva screams at Tyler and Lindsay. They both nod in compliance. "I don't like losers. I don't trust them. And more importantly, I don't trust...whores." Eva mutters, eyeing Lindsay. "So, Lindsay, if you mess up one thing I'll make sure you're the first to go."
"Go where?!" Lindsay whines. "Are we going to Suburban Outfitters?!"
Brick:
"I have to say that trip to psychotherapy made Eva a lot nicer! I also have to say, I missed her while she was gone. There's something about a woman who knows she's in charge that really gets me randy! Those beautiful yellow eyes, her thick black hair! She's perfect! Except for that unibrow. Something might have to be done about that."
Lindsay:
"This is too much! I really thought for some dumb reason getting on a team with Tyler would fix things. But now I find out Alejandro has been saying all these totally mean things about me, and Tyler won't even look at me! I'm also on a team of people who don't like me, except maybe Rick. I just feel so awful! Maybe the only way to get Tyler to notice me...is to make him jealous of me! With all the slut rumours going around...that may not be the best...but I'm a woman and this is about feminism! I think!"
Tyler:
"Man, it totally sucks having to ice out Lindsay. But that's what Alejandro told me to do! It's the only way I can move past anything. I don't know what Lindsay was thinking putting me on a team with her. I'm miserable! It sucks, dude! I want to be back with Alejandro!"
"Yah, my great cousin's aunt's grandfather Mitchell invented dogs. Yah, before then they were just wolves. They would kill their owners and eat them." Staci lies, sitting down at the Bass table.
"How many lies have you told!? You don't have this many family members!" Duncan groans. "Is it an attention thing? Do you feel like you have no special skills or whatever, so you think you can impress people by never shutting up?" Duncan asks.
Staci stays silent, holding her head down in embarrassment. Ezekiel sits down at the Bass table with a notebook. Duncan's eyes widen. It's the same notebook Blaineley had in the 'amnesia movie' challenge! Duncan smirks, waiting for his chance. The moment Ezekiel sets the notebook down, Duncan snatches it from him.
"Whatcha' got here, homeschool?" Duncan laughs.
"Duncan, give it back!" Trent scolds half-heartedly, knowing his words won't get through to Duncan.
"Yeah bro, c'mon, it's mine!" Ezekiel cries as he pathetically attempts to get the notebook from duncan.
"Well look at this!" Duncan exclaims, standing up for everyone to witness. He clears his throat, ready to read the notebook aloud. "'Today we lose the challenge and get Trent or Duncan eliminated. Tomorrow, get Duncan or Trent eliminated. Day after tomorrow, get Staci eliminated. Then the Maggots will be gone, and I'll be safe until the merge. Does Blaineley still want Bridgette and Zoey gone? I'll ask her.'"
"Oh crap..." Ezekiel mutters, sinking in his seat from embarrassment.
"You're a tough guy now, huh?" Duncan mocks, leaning in to Ezekiel. "Look at me! I'm the tough guy. You try and pull any crap on me, and you're dead met, bud. Got it?" he threatens.
Blaineley quickly gets up from her seat and rushes over to Ezekiel - all eyes on her. Zoey turns to DJ and Sam, and the three of them begin discussing the apparent coup against her. The Rats, save Justin, Harold and Alejandro all feverishly talk about what they're going to do in response to Blaineley's plan. Alejandro smirks, thinking of his own way to eliminate Bridgette, while Harold disengages from any conversation - not wanting to reveal his part in the alliance.
"Nice work, you idiot!" Blaineley mutters, grabbing Ezekiel by the ear and dragging him into the kitchen.
"What do ya' mean?" Ezekiel asks, trying to act as if he didn't massively just screw up.
"Now literally everyone knows our plan! This is not good Ezekiel. I don't think I can allow you to be on the alliance anymore." Blaineley begins, baiting Ezekiel.
"What do I have to do! I'm sorry, eh!" Ezekiel pleads.
"You stick by that plan, and make sure Duncan goes home, one way or another. I'll have to talk to Harold and make sure Bridgette eventually goes down, and I'll take care of Zoey. We have to act fast before anyone can retaliate. So, get Duncan voted off in the next challenge, or you're out of the alliance!" Blaineley threatens.
"I can't switch votes again, it-it-it's too risky!" Ezekiel whimpers. "Last time I switched the votes, you - "
"That was then and this is now Ezekiel." Blaineley interrupts, placing a finger over Ezekiel's mouth. "Things aren't so hot between Duncan and Trent, so it won't be hard to get Trent to vote for Duncan. And Staci doesn't have a mind of her own, so she'll be a guaranteed vote. If worse comes to worse, you will switch them. Okay? Okay!" Blaineley says, her threatening tone dissipating into a faux cheerfulness.
Ezekiel:
"Blaineley is like, starting to run the show, am I right? I don't know if I can make my team lose again. Eh, they'll get suspicious and what not, and try to get me kicked off! I don't know what Blaineley is thinkin', eh? Duncan and Trent are tight, yo! They'll definitely go for me if we lose! Oh boy, we need this merge soon!"
Blaineley:
"So, my entire plan got exposed in front of everyone. Big deal. I always have another strategy in case the one I'm working on blows up. I just have to think of what my next strategy is first. I knew Ezekiel was a moron, I just didn't realize how much of an idiot he is! Once he gets Duncan voted off, Trent will crumble to pieces and go home, the Maggots will keep losing and eventually dissipate before the merge. And with that, Ezekiel will be taken care of. I did want to string him along further, but his idiocy has made it impossible!"
Chris bursts through the mess hall doors, outfitted with an eerie looking gas mask, which is attached to an oxygen tank strapped on his back. Everyone gasps in shock at Chris' creepy guise. He breathes heavily through the gas mask, just to freak everyone out more. He takes it off and drops it to the ground.
"Enough of that, it was messing up my hair. Anyway, good morning campers! Who's ready for some fun?" Chris greets. Everyone groans, knowing very well Chris' idea of fun usually involves something life-threatening. "We're gonna get a little radio active today, hence the oxygen tank and gas mask! For today's challenge, each team will delve into Camp WOW-anakwa's abandoned mine shaft. In this mine shaft grows the highly lethal Hellberry Bush! You heard me right - HELLberry! These bushes grow from the tops from the caverns, so keep your eyes peeled! They bushes are purple in color, and their berries glow an orange-y yellow. Your mission is to retrieve as many of these berries as possible, and make it out of the mine shaft before your oxygen tanks run out of oxygen! There's a meter on the side of your tank that indicates how much oxygen you have. If it is green, you're good! If it is yellow, you might want to start leaving. But if it's red, you're good as dead! So don't die down there, we're dealing with a lot of lawsuits from some of our past interns' families. To win, you must bring back as many berries as possible - with the bushes still in tact! While you're down there, keep an eye out for any creepy radioactive crawlies! You have five more minutes, then meet me outside the mines!" Chris concludes, leaving the mess hall.
With that, everyone quickly scarfs down the rest of their breakfast and follows Chris to the mines. After a treacherous hike through the woods, they finally arrive. Those who competed in Revenge of the Island expected Chris to be talking about the entrance to the mines they had go in during their season...but nothing would have prepared them for this. In front of everyone stood a gigantic hole, plummeting right into darkness. A dainty swing connected to a pulley system hangs above the hole. Everyone shutters at the swing, sure that anyone who would sit on it would end up falling into the darkness...and dying.
"Yeah! That's how you're going to get down into the mines." Chris laughs.
"Uh, Chris, isn't there another entrance to the mines?" Zoey asks. "You know...a safer one?"
"Maybe. But that isn't nearly as fun as this!" Chris laughs. "So, who's taking the plunge first?"
"Me. Because I'm not a loser!" Eva volunteers, hopping onto the swing.
"Let's do it! Chef!" Chris calls out. Chef comes walking up, and the two of them grab the ropes intertwined with the pulley system, and slowly begin to lower Eva down. As Chef takes a step to hold his balance, he steps right into an anthill.
"Huh!? Oh crap!" Chef screams, as the ants crawl their way up his leg and begin to bite him. Chef drops his rope, and the rope slips through the pulley. The swing tilts and Eva slips off, barely managing to grab onto the seat before she falls.
"Man. We should have just used the other entrance to the mines." Chris mutters. "Okay, don't worry Eva. I'm gonna lower you down." Chris says, failing to sound sympathetic.
"Hurry it up!" Eva demands.
"Fine! Have it your way!" Chris says. He lets go of his rope and it slips through the pulley. The swing - and Eva - both fall and disappear into the darkness below.
"Chris...oh my God!" Brick cries, running towards the hole. "She might be dead! What are you thinking?"
"Fall in line, soldier!" Chef shouts, brushing ants off of him. Brick immediately stands upright and puffs out his chest.
"It's fine!" Chris faultily reassures everyone. "There's a giant pond or lake or something at the bottom. And it might be hazardous to touch or swim in. She won't die. Just get seriously messed up. Who's next?" Chris asks cheerfully.
"I think to support my team..." Brick begins, taking a step forward. "...I'll go next. It's also my duty to check on our team captain!" Brick quickly adds. He leans over the hole, and shudders in fear. "Wow...that's...really dark." he winces.
"Yup!" Chris says, shoving Brick into the hole. Like some demented fever dream, Chris starts shoving all the contestants down the hole one by one.
"No! My hair will get wet!" Lindsay screams as she falls into the abyss.
"Aren't you going to save your girlfriend?" Noah sarcastically asks Tyler.
"She's not my - " Tyler stops himself as he meets eyes with Alejandro. "Just buzz off, dude!" Tyler says. Chris comes up behind Tyler and Noah, shoving them both down the hole.
"Hold my hand!" Sadie screams, violently grasping onto Katie's hand.
"Okay!" Sadie agrees. The two girls jump down the hole, screaming in terror all the way down.
"Well, here goes nothing! Wish me luck!" Zoey says, waving to her team and preparing to jump.
"Yeah, with luck you'll break your neck." Blaineley mutters, walking over to Zoey and forcing her down the hole.
"No one is pushing me down there." Duncan states, crossing his arms.
"I will!" Izzy cheers, wrapping herself around Duncan. The two stumble around, before falling into the hole.
Chris laughs hysterically as each of the contestants fall down the hole. Eventually, everyone jumps, or is pushed down. Chris begins to walk off before noticing the box full of the gas masks and oxygen tanks. He thinks for a moment, tapping his chin. He rolls his eyes, and empties the box over the hole.
"Can't have anymore lawsuits!" Chris says, winking at the nearby camera crew.
Izzy:
"It is just so awesome to be back! Like I know I wasn't supposed to come back but why wouldn't I? This is so much fun. I kinda miss Owen though! He was so, so fun! Everyone's suddenly all crazy and competitive! I wonder what happens when Heather gets here? When does she get here! Does anyone know?! This game never ends if we keep adding people. Oh! As I was falling I had an epiphany. Yeah true story. I can totally win this game. I'm not going home any time soon and if do I will be so sad even though I never actually go home when I'm eliminated...where do I even live? The real question is, how am I even talking in the confessional right now! I just jumped down that hole!"
The contestants wearily stand up, realizing they're submerged in a sickly-green colored pond. They all quickly get out, fearing the damage it'll do to them. They examine their surroundings, all noticing they're surrounded by pitch darkness. The only light there is shines from the hole the top of the hole they all just jumped down. A cold, harsh wind howls from all directions, echoing in the seemingly endless cavern. Distant moans reverberate throughout, coming from unseen radioactive creatures. The contestants quickly hurry to put on their gas masks and oxygen tanks.
"Oh my gash, this is too creepy!" Anne Maria says. "I don't think this is what I signed up for."
"How are we gonna' see? It's super dark." Sam observes.
"A little too dark!" Brick whines.
"With these." Dawn says. She points to rocks all along the ground, which glow with a yellow shine. She picks one up and holds it high, providing some light to the dark cavern. "If we all get one of these, we'll be able to see where we're going...hopefully." Everyone quickly begins collecting the glowing rocks, desperate to see in the darkness.
"Good thinking Dawn!" Justin praises, coming over to her. "How about we form an alliance?"
"No." Dawn says blanky, walking away from him. Alejandro raises an eyebrow, and comes over to Justin.
"Amigo, I have an idea. We can form an alliance." Alejandro whispers.
"With you? You must be desperate." Justin replies.
"So are you." Alejandro points out. "I say neither of us are very popular with our team right now. So why don't you say, just for now, we stick together?"
"You do have a point. Sure, I'll take it." Justin agrees.
"However, you must agree that if we lose this challenge, you will vote Bridgette off with me." Alejandro demands.
"Fine. You know, she said she wants to purposely throw the challenge to get you kicked off, right?" Justin says.
"Of course!" Alejandro says, trying to present himself with confidence. "And I am sure once I am gone, you're next. So we must stick together."
Alejandro and Justin look around, making sure their team isn't listening. They shake hands in mutual agreement to vote for Bridgette. Little do they know, Blaineley is watching - as she always is. She quickly runs up to Harold and drags him away from his team.
"Justin and Alejandro just made a pact to vote off Bridgette. And you're going to join it." Blaineley demands.
"What?!" Harold exclaims. "First it's the Maggots, then Zoey, the Bridgette. Make up your mind!"
"I did. Vote off Bridgette." Blaineley says.
"The Rats are planning to throw the challenge to vote off Alejandro, you know. I don't think our three votes will be enough to get her off!" Harold explains.
"Make it work." Blaineley grimaces. Harold sighs, walking over to Alejandro and Justin.
"Harold, how nice of you to join us." Alejandro greets. "We were just - "
"I'm voting off Bridgette with you guys." Harold says. "I'm not going to explain it, but you have my vote. She's gone."
