A/N: I know it's been about a year since I last updated but life tends to take up most of my time lately but I hope you like this chapter. Short chapter but the end is nice.

To Purest of the Hearts: Some of you reviews had helped kick me out of my funk so I thank you for your reviews.

Shadow was wrapping a cloth wrap around his sister's leg. Blaze wasn't happy about how tight the wrap was around her leg but was just glad that the cut wasn't to bad or at least that's what Shadow told her. They wished that there creators where there to take them away from this pit hole but they knew that they had to get outside. Shadow helped his sister up and let her lean on him so they could find a way out of the building.

"I'm tired," Blaze said after a while of wondering around the halls.

"I know but we have to keep moving," Shadow replied. "Besides I don't know how long that evil bot will be out for."

"I need to rest," Blaze insisted.

"I know but we have to get outside," Shadow replied as he look behind them at the small trail of energon that his sister's leg was leaving. He lied to Blaze about the cut. It was deep into her armer but there wasn't anything he could do about it. So in his mind getting outside was there best option right now. "And than we can rest," he told her with a smile.

"Ok," she replied as she tried to keep moving with her brother.

They kept walking until they came to a large door. Shadow set Blaze down next to the wall so he could open the door. When he got the door open he was nearly blinded by the sun light but when he went to get his sister to take her outside to find that her right foot had faded to a grayish color.

"Oh no," Shadow whispered to himself as he quickly picked Blaze up and headed out the door. "Blaze are you OK," Shadow asked as he dragged her outside hoping that she would answer. He could feel his sister's spark starting to fade from his own. He was scared, not for himself but his sister death. If she died than who would he play with but than he remembered that if only one of them died than both of them would. What would there creators do without them? Would they be happy or would they be sad? Would they die with them?

"Shadow," he looked down to his sister. "Are they going to find us?"

"Ya they'll find us I know they will," Shadow replied with a smile.

"You're a bad lier," Blaze said in a weak voice.

"But they will I know they will," Shadow replied as he moved them far from the building.

(Autobot base)

Soundwave had been looking for the sparklings signatures on the main computer. He found them. They were in the Andes mountains and Blaze's signature was getting weaker by the moment. He told the bots where they were and the bots were out within seconds to get the two.

(Shadow and Blaze)

Shadow had sat down near some rocks to rest and look at Blaze's leg. It had stopped bleeding but it looked like it was infected. Blaze had fallen asleep a while a go. He had to try to do something but he didn't know what. He sat there looking at the cut but didn't know what to do. Then he heard the sound of engines closing in. He was scared of that evil bot coming after them but he was to tired to pull his sister any where but he couldn't just leave her there like this so he stayed with her. When the sounds stopped he looked up to see both of his creators running up to him. He smiled.

"Shadow, Blaze," Jazz yelled as he picked the both of them up but Blaze was taken away by Ratchet after he saw the cut.

Ratchet stared to curse as he looked at Blaze's injury. He and the rest of the bots flew back to to base in Skyfire. When they got back Ratchet ran to the med. bay holding Blaze in his arms as Jazz and Prowl fallowed behind closely.

(the next night)

Shadow sat playing in the rec. room with Bluestreak and Blackstreak as Jazz and Prowl were in the med. bay with Blaze. Shadow didn't mind that they were with her instead of him do to the whole situation. He just hoped that Blaze would be OK and could play with him when she got out. He maybe smart but that didn't mean that he still couldn't play like a sparkling that he is. The two older mechs were trying to get Shadow to play but he just stopped. He wanted his sister and he wanted her now. Why did the evil mech hurt her? Why couldn't it have been him? Getting mad he got up and headed to the med. bay to see his sister but was stopped by Blackstreak. Shadow bit him to get out of his grip and ran to the Hatchet's domain. When he got there he saw both of his creators sitting in a chair sleeping as for Ratchet was no where in sight. He walked in carefully walked over to Blaze's berth and claimed up on to it. She was asleep as well so he laid down next to her and watched her sleep.

"What are you doing in here," came Ratchet's voice from above him. Shadow looked up to see the tired medic looking at him. "Can't stand being away from your sister can you," he said as he walked over to where Jazz and Prowl were sleeping. He picked Jazz up out of Prowl's arms and placed him on a medical berth. He did the same for Prowl but put him on the same berth as Jazz and layed a thermal blanket on the two of them. Ratchet then layed a blanket on shadow and Blaze. "Good night you four," he said before he dimmed the lights and left.
