Alice's P.O.V

Chapter 19:

As I followed Jeff back into the world that was now my home, I could never help but wonder about him, who was he before. Before he became who he is now, what turned into the amazing killer that seemed so untouchable. So unhuman and beyond my reach, and yet every moment I felt curious and even came close to knowing about him. This veil of rage, frustration and anger would cover his face, his voice. And he would ignore me, push me so much further away from him. I can see that he is alone, I can feel it from him. Feel a heavy sense of loneliness that it chokes me, he never spoke much. But yet he snapped so easily, I wondered if he would kill me. If he could kill me. As I I walked back into Jeff's room, I wrapped my arms around myself and asked, "Who am I meeting first?" he grunted and scratched his head casually, "Ah, Toby.. Yeah, I think he would...quite like to meet you" Jeff's voice was filled with questioning, I sighed gently. "What kind of name is Toby, doesn't sound very scary now does it?" I replied, giggling at the name, a name that sounded far too kind to hurt a soul. Jeff chuckled and replied, "Well..Some may say that Alice isn't the most frightening name either" I squinted my eyes up at him, daring myself to reply but instead I uncrossed my arms, Jeff walked over to the side of his room and a door appeared. It looked like the same door as that led to Slenderman's room, but this time it had dark purple swirls all around the oval brass handle. Jeff pulled the door open and dived into the vast darkness, with me running quickly behind.

I opened my eyes, we stood in a small room, a large, dark blue fridge sat in the corner. A long, blood stained couch with pillows scatterd all over the floor sat in the middle of the room, in front of it an old TV was located which played nothing but static haze. Jeff took a step in front of me and sat on the couch comfortably. I stared at him as he stretched his long arms along the sides of the sofa casually, "Jeff what are you doing?" I asked him, frowning. He shrugged, I heard light, shifted footsteps walk into the room. I followed the sound and looked up, I could feel curiousness grip at my throat. "Jeff...who, is that?" it uttered to Jeff, its voice was muffled from a dark brown scarf like covering which smothered over his mouth. He wore a thin blue hoodie, the sleeves were a tad too long and were striped with different shades of brown and the torso of the hood was a light, mud brown. On his face was a pair of bright, sun light yellow, oval sunglasses which fit neatly on his face. He had thick brown hair sticking out from behind his ears in every direction, even though the hoodie he wore covered the majority of it. His skin was pale and pasty almost gray, his neck would twitch, and crack ever so slightly. Jeff stood up and walked towards his side and replied, "She calls herself Alice...she is the newest additition to our little creepypasta community" Jeff said, I could feel a pent up growl behind his words. Jeff's friend walked towards me, his steps were hesitant and slow. Although he wore glasses I could feel his gaze heavy along my body. His body hung slightly hunched, his figure notably male. He tilted his head at me, "You must be Toby" I said, politly nodding my head at him. He chuckled, a slight coughing sound escaping his unseen mouth. "We don't have many creepypasta's from England!" I frowned and crossed my arms over my chest, "Aww, don't be grumpy Alice.." he said starting to circle around me, his voice was obviously playful and friendly. I lifted my chin up and huffed. His words felt as though they carried a certain tender and almost gentle feeling to the sounds of them. I felt his hand timidly stroke my hair, I noticed the way his hand shakily caressed each tip. As though I were a rare animal that needed to be cared after, I clenched my fists and stood still. I looked at Jeff who was shifting his weight uncomfortably, his eyes looked hazy. I felt Toby's hand slide down my back and over the nape of my spine, I heard him let out a shaky chuckle. Then visualising my vorpal blade, I held it tightly in my hands and turned around to face him just as he started to pull out a old rusty hatchet. He staggered back as I edged towards him, "What did you plan on doing Toby?" Jeff growled, running towards him and grabbing his collar he raised him up in the air. I raised an eyebrow confused, Jeff's usaul almost calm demeanor was shattered as he bellowed up at Toby who helplessly dropped his hatchet and scratched at Jeff. "Jeff..Jeff..It was only a-" his voice started to choke up then Jeff dropped him onto the floor. I put away my vorpal blade and walked towards the collapsed Toby, who slowly pulled himself up and off his hoodie. He coughed and cracked his gloved knuckles, Jeff's body was still tense. "Jeff...I was only..I wouldn' t really, look I'm just really hungry. I haven't fed in a week" Toby's muffled, shaky voice practically pleaded to Jeff, he strode closer towards him, his tall lean figure towering over Toby's. Toby cowered back slightly, "That is no excuse Toby..Control it!" Toby pushed Jeff back and huffed, "Dude..she's just a girl!" Jeff froze for a moment. It felt as though the room had run cold, the layer of insanity and rage returned into Jeff's voice, "She was...she was just a girl" I frowned and looked at them both, "Can one of you explain what just happened?" I asked them, stamping my foot down. Toby scratched the back of his hood and Jeff replied, "Toby was just being an idiot for not feeding in so long! Nothing else needs to be explained!" I frowned then nodded in understanding, this man may have once human. Probably like Jeff, but I felt as though Jeff was leaving out something from me. "Well I dont think I would be at all that delicious. But you should really feed" I said, Toby sighed. "I know" he replied unevenly, Jeff looked down at me. His face had a look of unease, something was burdering his mind. I wanted to ask him, "Well...Toby it was great seeing you again, but I need to take Alice to the rest" I waved a vauge goodbye to Toby as Jeff led me out of the room and back to another.
