Thank you all for stay with this story and reading write to the end.
I hope this last chapter is a nice finish

"I would never."

The words that stopped all fighting in the Charming-Swan-Mills family.

It took a while, as expected, but everyone tried their best to forgive and forget.
It was for the best wasn't it? Years and years of endless fights for what? Nothing.

It took Snow the longest to warm up to Cora but it worked out well in the end.

Cora moved into her own home, it was large, white and very fancy. She liked it there, it was quiet, her escape really.

The family had taken to Sunday roasts at The Swan-Mills manor, even others who weren't actually family stopped over once in a while, Regina at first found it annoying but as her relationship with her mother rekindled so did her tolerance for others.

Henry was happy to have another grandmother –even if Cora didn't let him use that word or anything close to it- He learnt a lot more about the family history, which he loved. He learnt many things from Cora, and even if Cora never said it she truly did love teaching him.

Everything was well and happy.

A year on and things were better than ever.

It was not too long after Emma had gotten her memory back that she took Regina out to a beautiful clearing in the forest and proposed, properly. It was a beautiful night, the stars and moon working in harmony to set the mood. There were candles everywhere; clearly Emma had had a little help. Regina was blown away, by all of it… Then Emma got down on one knee and proposed.

"Regina, you mean so much to me.. You stayed, you waited for me, and that –to me- is the most amazing thing. People in my life seem to run when the going gets tough but you didn't… You protected me, you stood by my side. I want to make things official; I want you to know how much I love you. So Regina Mills, Will you marry me?"

Regina was silent for a long time. Tears threatening to cascade down her cheeks.

And finally a nod.

"Yes! Of course, yes."

Emma smiled as she slipped the ring onto Regina's slender finger.

Emma's breath hitched as she saw Regina, Regina looked absolutely amazing.

Regina's was wearing the most beautiful white gown that clung to her breasts and flowed easily to the ground. It had a silver band just under the bust. Her hair was a simple and slightly messy up do…
Emma was breathless, Regina looked stunning as Cora walked her down the aisle.

Regina felt all eyes on her but she could only focus on Emma.

Emma looked so beautiful in her suit, it fitted so well, it hugged all the right parts.
Her pants clung to her legs- White heals at the bottom of that.
A well-fitting jacket
A black bowtie.
Regina had never imagined Emma would look this amazing, maybe it was just because of what was about to happen but Regina felt butterflies in her stomach, that rarely happened.

Finally after what seemed like forever for both women, Regina reached the altar.
Cora pasted Regina's hand into Emma's and took her set in the front row with the Charmings.

The Priest spoke for a while about marriage but neither of them were listening, they were content just looking into each other's eyes.

The Priest had to clear his throat a few times to bring Emma and Regina back to reality. "Your vows?" He questioned.

Regina took a moment to start.
"We have been to hell and back. But you've always been around, from me threating you to leave my town, to you not remembering who I saw… You stayed, and that means the world to me; people in my life never really stayed around but then you came along, even when I didn't want you around you were here. I love that I can share my deepest thoughts with you. I love that you can make me laugh, I love that sometimes I just want to hit you. I love you. You are the love of my life Miss Swan."

The Priest then turned to Emma. "And yours?"

Emma nodded and started her vows. "You were my dream, a family, the second I saw you I knew you were family to me… But I didn't really know how at that point. You wanted me gone; I wanted to stay because it annoyed you… But I'm glad I stayed because without you I'm not sure if I'd still have my sanity. I love you Mayor Mills, will all my heart"

Emma smiled brightly as she slipped the wedding ring onto Regina's slender finger.

Regina and Emma kissed the second Regina had placed the wedding ring onto Emma's finger, they didn't even wait for the "You may now kiss the bride" they had so much time yet, not quite enough.

"I've fallen, so many times… But I can count on you to be there to help me stand." Emma whispered to Regina as they pulled back from the kiss.
