hey guys! so, i was hoping to do atleast 26 chapters but it'll most likely be 23-24 chapters. So that means (sniff sniff) it's almost over.

Chapter 20
She could hear them, she heard them taking her from the hospital, she heard the warlock that was mumbling spells above her, and she heard them trying to convince Chris that he needs to eat something. And she felt his hand every time he held hers.
But what she wished she could get a better hearing at was what he was doing, every now and then he'd be on the phone to someone talking about some sort of renovations and something called 'the house' but she never seemed to get enough information to figure it out.
Now she sits here, it feels like it's been a few days, maybe a week.
"Em…" His voice lingered in her ears, she mentally hummed at the familiar voice, "Please wake up. I need you to wake up. I cant live without you, I've been trying to distract myself and I've been trying to look after Imogen but it's hard, I cant do this without you. I already watched you die once I cant do it again, I cant loose you AGAIN. Pleas wake up, please, please, please wake up." He sobbed quietly as he pleaded for her to wake up.
Em's heart broke when she heard him and now, all she wanted to do was wake up, 'Come on! Come on! Wake up! Just open my eyes! It shouldn't be this hard! At least squeeze his hand or something! Tell him im still here! COME ON! COME ON!'
"Em?!" His voice was full of hope as he felt her fingers twitch against his hand, his eyes quickly darted to her face.
'When did the world get so bright?' Em's eyes groggily opened, everything blurry and that's when she felt like she was choking.
"Charlotte! Get in here!"
He watched from the sidelines as they took the tubes from her throat and checked her vitals, 'She's awake!' was all he could think and that's all that mattered.
